No shaking!!! Felt much more confident prepping it and doing it. Bubbles still scare the shit out of me.

Not feeling it as intensely in the crotch this time, tho the warmth from the first shot never really faded.

My tummy didn't cramp up this time either! I was worried I'd hurt something in me last time, and the lack of pain this time is really reassuring.

I'm timing them to right before making food so I can't tell if the hunger hits immediately, but I'm defo eating more often then before overall. Snacking a lot.

I did bleed a bit more this time. Oh nooooo, I have to buy bandaids!! Hehehe

the doctor at the gender clinic repeatedly asked if i wanted to switch from T gel to shots because "a lot of people forget when they have to do it themselves every morning"

what i thought: people forget boy juice? autism routine loves boy juice! boy juice loves me!

what i said: well i have a good routine going in the mornings so i never forget. it's super affirming to put it on every day actually - i feel like i'm taking steps forward

(almost) 1 week on T update!!

i wasn't expecting to feel ANYTHING yet but already my throat feels SUPER weird (it's not painful, it's just. tight?? i sound like i'm at the start of a cold)

my skin feels oilier than usual, sort of like it does in the evening right before i wash my face, and i'm also just. very very aware of the smell of my sweat for the first time

Testosterone administration

Shots are most common but there is development for creams. Only estrogen can be in pill form.

With shots it's scary but you get used to it. I use an icepack on my stomach 5 minutes before I administer it. It is completely numb when I do the shot. Getting the liquid out of the vial is my hardest issue, so my mom does it because I have shaky hand tremors.

I get mine in my stomach near my bellybutton and pinch the skin (not too tight) jab the needle in the place and slowly push the liquid in

Afterwards IT DOES HURT (for me) and bandaids are always good.

There are other tricks to not feel the needle some people say to cough when you insert the needle. It does not work for me.

The syringe site will look like it's swelling but that's okay because you just stuck a needle there.

Side effects

FIRST THING I NOTICED 🔥🔥🔥 I would get hot so easily (normally I'm always cold) in PE I would think I'm dying because of how hot I felt.

TIREDNESS (could be a sign of too high dose of T) 2 weeks in and i was a zombie even though i slept my full 8 hours

ACNE ACNE ACNE If you have bad acne now it might get worse I was blessed to not have acne but now after T I got it.

Hair, I am 5 weeks in and I have not experienced any changes in hair growth. My ass was always hairy.

Voice, my voice has gotten hoarse without any pain. That's all the changes I can feel with my voice.

LIBIDO as an aroace person it makes me uncomfortable. But it will increase, I failed NNN.
