Raised by a single mom, he got into crime as a teenager when she fell ill and he needed a way to pay for medical bills.

He used to cruise and visit glory holes in his youth and for some reason does not see this as being as wild as it is

He mostly drinks beer, but he likes whiskey and bourbon as well

Listens to a lot of blues music & loooooves cinema- he learned (some) English by watching American movies!

Bisexual & polyamorous- he has two long-term partners (Orecchio and Sambuca) and one eventual casual relationship later (Dolce) !

Works as a carpenter & general handyman- he likes woodworking the most and electrical of any kind the least. He’s also constantly working on his own house because if he doesn't have a project to keep his hands busy he starts getting antsy

Presents a sturdy, stoic and dependable front, but deals with pretty intense PTSD and anxiety

When he (eventually) gets a stand (Running Blue!) those anxieties tend to manifest as RB running around trying to Help Somehow. As it is only a small camera bird, it usually just makes him More anxious

Dom top, but he’s actually a switch at heart- he just can't let himself relax enough to ever get into subspace because of aforementioned inner turmoil.

After Giorno reunited with him post-VA, Ves makes a habit of refusing all Giorno’s monetary gifts or offers to support him because "You're a kid, you shouldn't be taking care of me". Giorno just got sneakier and found subtler ways to (in his eyes) repay Ves for changing his life

Very much thinks of Giorno as the kid he was never able to have, and worries about him constantly. Refuses to let Giorno talk about "work" in his house, though

Great cook, singlehandedly responsible for making sure Orecchio eats properly

Stubborn as shit to the point where it's detrimental, but he's too old and set in his ways now to STOP being stubborn

Smokes, but eventually tries to quit to mixed success. Still sneaks a smoke when he's too stressed out.
