daring being the equivalent to a pg-13 fuckboy was really funny, but i think it would've been so sad and compelling if he geniuely was in love with apple.

they know they're destined to be together, they grew up together and have talked about their relationship many times. they agreed to not date until their destiny takes its course, as apple is paranoid about messing with their story and doing anything ahead of time.

daring sees how hard she works and how far she goes to strive for perfection; following ever task her mother gives her, always being ontop of her studies, never missing a chance to be kind and help others. she inspires him to do the same; topping his sword-fighting classes, using his strength and athletic skills to help others, always seizing the chance to save the day and protect others.

daring falls more and more in love with her each passing year, whereas apple just keeps waiting for the feeling to come to her. she reasons that she doesn't feel anything for daring because he hasn't awoken her from her coma and swallow her worries.

many people still fall for daring, but he tells them his heart is taken and his destiny is sealed: apple white is the only girl for him, and it's his duty to stay loyal to his future wife.

perhaps apple even visits the charming kingdom often, under the guise of spending time with her future in-laws to get away from the heavy pressure she faces at home. she grows closer with darling during these times, who admires apple and her ability to be satisfied with the royal life and expectations she has as a princess.

i think daring could still have a few small and tender moments with other girls, such as his admiration for cerise — but he does his best to push those feelings aside, maybe even feels guilty for them.

it's only after he fails to awaken apple in dragon games, where he is able to start his process on moving on. he agonizes over not being her prince, as it changes everything he knows: his destiny, his true love, and even the fact that he would participate in an out of destiny romance (something so taboo to a royal such as himself).

when finally given the chance to do so, daring asks apple if she loves him — if she ever had or ever could, in the same way he loves her. they have a long conversation, one that ends with both of them in tears. apple does daring, but she's not in love with him. she's always known there was something different about her when she didn't long for her prince charming like other princesses did, and now thanks to darling, she knows why.

daring learns how to move on. it's a tedious process, and one that hurts, but he moves on. and so does apple. he still loves her, and she still loves him. only now, they also love themselves.

A talk about Clown’s boundaries and breaking them.

With this post, there’s a certain uncertainty of being allowed to speak on this topic as I’m not the subject nor part of it (if not as a fan participating in producing fanworks of Welcome Home). However, with the steam that has been rising from many due to notice of Clown’s breached boundaries, I thought I might as well speak up as I have wanted to since a few days ago.

A few days ago I witnessed a forementioned breach of Clown’s boundaries under the Wally Darling/Reader Relationship tag on AO3. And while I cannot speak on behalf of Clown, more so even now since they’ve now posted about not doing so, I did let the author know how genuinely frustrating their attitude was.

Some within the community have begun arguing about the expectations of Clown’s boundaries being dismissed, and it is true that I too expected it and knew it would become a problem with how popular Welcome Home was getting, but the least I expected was some decency from the people who decided to breach their boundaries.

You see, if there is one thing I’ve noticed when finding fan fiction and fan art that is inappropriate and beyond what Clown has said is okay with them, it’s the blatant lack of being willing to own up to their actions.

It’s never “I decided to ignore his boundaries because I don’t care,” it’s “I know their boundaries are going to be ignored by someone else, and some people already has, so I’m going to do it to even though I know it goes against supporting the creator.”

It is so frustrating to witness NSFW content being produced, but it takes it to an entirely new level with such an attitude, playing a game of “X did Y so I’m going to, too!”

It’s genuinely so annoying to see and it pisses me off. The least anyone can do is be better, and the simplest but most anyone can do is respect his boundaries and keep their NSFW elsewhere. They shouldn’t need to block anything to keep what he created away from his eyes.

Before reading please note that I'm not really doing voice impressions anymore, as of right now! However if I ever decide to pick them up again, these rules still stand!

If I don't get to your request, keep in mind it could be for many reasons! Boundaries, current priorities, whether I can even do it due to the filter I have to use, time management, efficiency, whether I understood it or not, (which is very common for me to not be able to.. - Yes, you can request audios! But I strictly ONLY do non-sexual, mostly sfw content. Nothing nsfw (as in sexual or suggestive) I'm an asexual-minor and that makes me uncomfortable! I can do scary stuff, horror, etc... Things are bound to get gorey because I'm partially a gore artist... But nothing sexual. Anything sexual is a BIG NO.

- I cannot do any singing or screaming audios in wally's voice unfortunately, because the filter I require to use in order to do those impressions, does not work with singing! (Yes, I have to use a filter!)

I love Welcome Home, I love the dedication Clown has given to this project and a bunch of the fans' devotion to it, but I think after a year, I think it's safe for me to put some criticisms of the rampant misinformation and Clown's "boundaries".

Ofc the elephant in the room is the NSFW, but that's a different story for now. (Though it's mind boggling how it's been a year and kids still think the PlayfellowXXX tag doesn't exist).

What I'm talking about here is the thing that puzzles me the most, which is the supposed thing about Clown not wanting people to call 'Welcome Home' an ARG. I genuinely do not know if Clown has said any of this, last year I've gotten people telling others that he 'doesn't want anyone calling an ARG and you're being disrespectful if you call it that'. But I found nothing of which. Sure, Clown calls it a 'Horror Project', but besides that, I found nothing of how he told people that it's 'not an ARG'.

And even then, even if the creator did tell anyone, I'm still confused as to why. I get that the term 'ARG' is a pretty embarrassing thing to take seriously nowadays given all the Mascot and Analog Horror situations. But still, you can't write a book and tell everyone else that it's not a book.
