• An Oxford comma walks into a bar, where it spends the evening watching the television, getting drunk, and smoking cigars.
• A dangling participle walks into a bar. Enjoying a cocktail and chatting with the bartender, the evening passes pleasantly.
• A bar was walked into by the passive voice.
• An oxymoron walked into a bar, and the silence was deafening.
• Two quotation marks walk into a “bar.”
• A malapropism walks into a bar, looking for all intensive purposes like a wolf in cheap clothing, muttering epitaphs and casting dispersions on his magnificent other, who takes him for granite.
• Hyperbole totally rips into this insane bar and absolutely destroys everything.
• A question mark walks into a bar?
• A non sequitur walks into a bar. In a strong wind, even turkeys can fly.
• Papyrus and Comic Sans walk into a bar. The bartender says, "Get out -- we don't serve your type."
• A mixed metaphor walks into a bar, seeing the handwriting on the wall but hoping to nip it in the bud.
• A comma splice walks into a bar, it has a drink and then leaves.
• Three intransitive verbs walk into a bar. They sit. They converse. They depart.
• A synonym strolls into a tavern.
• At the end of the day, a cliché walks into a bar -- fresh as a daisy, cute as a button, and sharp as a tack.
• A run-on sentence walks into a bar it starts flirting. With a cute little sentence fragment.
• Falling slowly, softly falling, the chiasmus collapses to the bar floor.
• A figure of speech literally walks into a bar and ends up getting figuratively hammered.
• An allusion walks into a bar, despite the fact that alcohol is its Achilles heel.
• The subjunctive would have walked into a bar, had it only known.
• A misplaced modifier walks into a bar owned by a man with a glass eye named Ralph.
• The past, present, and future walked into a bar. It was tense.
• A dyslexic walks into a bra.
• A verb walks into a bar, sees a beautiful noun, and suggests they conjugate. The noun declines.
• A simile walks into a bar, as parched as a desert.
• A gerund and an infinitive walk into a bar, drinking to forget.
• A hyphenated word and a non-hyphenated word walk into a bar and the bartender nearly chokes on the irony

If you wished for infinite money, wouldn't that essentially be like infinite money printing and henceforth rendering money useless? And make all goods infinite in price?

Clarification and Conclusion
I think I've had some kind of revelation since I made this post, so I wanted to share and clarify a certain thing.
I can begin with this clarification that I don't have any problem with Welcome Home AUs and I hope it didn't come across as such, though obviously it can have been hard to tell since everything is in text and don't contain any tone-indicators or emotes. As I mentioned, I think creating Welcome Home fan made content (such as fan art and fan fiction, including AUs) isn't bad by any means. I mean, I don't indulge myself in the AUs but that doesn't mean I don't see the same love for Welcome Home that I feel. After all, any time spent on creating an AU, regardless of the art form, is an act of appreciation, love, passion, and creativity, just like any piece of fan art and the like. It wasn't an attempt to say that creating an AU for Welcome Home is wrong but rather me trying to find a possible connection with others through this feeling I had been experiencing.
And on that last note, I want to thank everyone who has replied and voted so far. It gives me some insight to how everyone else feels and does, in fact, help me feel less alone in my experience.
Now to the conclusion I've come to.
I believe this feeling I had —feeling 'weird' when seeing Welcome Home AUs— comes from a certain anxiety I have in regards to Clown and their project. I think that since Welcome Home blew up, to the point that it overwhelmed Clown and caused them to go into a temporary hiatus, that I have developed a certain fear that Welcome Home will become 'less his' and 'more ours'. As in that since Welcome Home is a work in progress and because there is no clear and concrete story yet that the fandom takes what exists and makes it their own; taking Welcome Home characters and creating their own narrative with what has been established rather than just making theories.
I think it also comes with the fact that certain people in the community have previously displayed no issues with taking a look at Clown's boundaries and treating them as optional or completely disregarding them. An example being that before Clown gave a partial green light of creating and posting NSFW content, some individuals went ahead anyways with creating both art and writing smut. Not because they hadn't taken note his boundaries but because they simply 'didn't care' or because 'Clown wasn't going to see it anyways'.
My anxiety stems from just that, a fear of seeing Clown's work being taken advantage of and fearing that some people in the community will take it too far in a negative direction that will somehow affect Clown and Welcome Home.
As much as I believe my anxiety to be irrational and implausible, I can still see my train of thought and how I ended up here. With making this clear, I hope everyone can understand where I came from with the original post and forgive me if I've created any misunderstandings.

Am I the only one feeling a little weird about people creating Welcome Home AUs?
Like, obviously it isn't bad to express your love and creativity for Welcome Home, but seeing people take the original concept of WH and editing it when the project isn't even fully out makes me feel...
weird.

Quick PSA, if you get one of those "Work scanned, AI use detected" comments on AO3, just mark them as spam.
Some moron apparently built a bot to annoy or prank hundreds of authors.
There is no scanning process, your work doesn't actually resemble AI writing, it's all bullshit. Mark the comment as spam (on AO3, not the email notification you got about the comment!) and don't let it get to you.
