TERFs 🤝 Zionists
Using the exact same talking points and rhetoric.
#just saying#don't mind me but you Know I'm Right#like its the same picture#like both will ask for a blood test to see how much you're allowed to talk about your own idenity for one#they tend to use gaslighting when you notice historical events#and they're both holocaust deniers who believe no other group was effected by the holocaust#they both hate Jews and have a history of using conspiracy theories to justify their hate of other groups#both use the same ideologies of far right fascists#both love nazis so much that they copy their methods#both twist the truth to fit an agenda#both have the whole “every accusation is an admission” thing where they accuse others of being what they are#both are racist and racially profile and investigate people#both have a very binary view of human beings and think there's a secret “us vs them” battle going on between them and other groups of people#especially when said people finally get sick of being hate crimed and show agression after the initiated aggression#both accuse “the other side” (aka an entire group that doesn't want anything to do with them) of stealing their idenity and picking on them#they see people chanting “we hate nazis” and “we hate fascists” as a personal attack against them#Both want sympathy for acting aggressively to total strangers who are minding their own business#both claim to care for Jews (some even are Jewish) but use antisemetic rhetoric in their politics then cry when people call them out on it#Both don't understand the concept that being part of a marginalised group doesn't stop you from hating those of the same or other groups#Both are backed by far right christo-fascists (#And both claim that others are being hateful when said people simply say “you're taking what I said out of context” or twist their words#Aaaand they both use bot accounts online and would rather believe professional agistators rather than factual evidence#which includes surrounding themselves in echo chambers that claim really over the top conspiracy theories and history denialism-#- to justify their views#Also they end to be the same people sometimes

I need my bossy regulus dose, my beautiful power bottom boy agenda 🙏
okay i gotta do some headcanons for him he's my favourite
regulus, for so long, has been put into the submissive twink category by other partners or just anyone that finds him attractive and he's fed up, they don't know the truth
he likes tying men to the bed to ride them until they're sobbing in pleasure, begging to cum inside him but he just shakes his head and climbs off, jerking them until they're on the edge before stopping every single time until he wants them to finish
he'll be in doggy and look back at them like 'look at your face, do i feel that good? you want me to fuck you back?'
he wants to tease and touch and flirt but his previous partners just didn't get it/care about it until he meets james
sweet, cocky, handsome, lovely james who has no idea what a slut he's about to become for this man
james has always thought he was dominant in bed and he did enjoy it with previous partners, but something with regulus was different and when he had those eyes on him he melts
his brain kind of stops in a good, floaty way and he smiles all dreamily at him as regulus grips his chin, pulls his hair, and asks him if he thinks he's been a good boy
james is a big guy, tall and fit and toned and regulus is a bit shorter and bit lankier when they first start dating, but james feels like regulus is SO much stronger in the bedroom and he loves it, he likes being overpowered for once
he's also the best trophy/stay at home husband on the planet he loves cooking and cleaning anyway but knowing it's to take care of someone he loves? even better, plus regulus spoils tf out of him moneywise so james isn't complaining
regulus likes james in a suit so whenever they go somewhere fancy he tugs him in close by his tie and tells him how good he looks for him and james has to try and will his boner away
if regulus is going down on james its such a show, he's using both hands to twist up his cock and rub that sensitive spot under the head, his tongue running up the length and kissing over his skin and james' legs are shaking
regulus is a dom power bottom, yes, but god does he love giving pleasure to james, its just as fun as receiving it to him
he also likes james asking for what he wants, regulus isn't one to assume james wants anything and its part of the power play to have james nudge his nose against his jaw, kiss him a little to rile him up, then softly beg to eat reg out or fuck him and regulus just kinda smirks and lets him beg for a little longer than he needs, he was always going to say yes

The Ascent of Lying
Why, Mordor people? Why do you lie?
Is it stupidity? Hunger Greed for clicks? That #silly, #silly itch to be FIRST? And RIGHT?
The Ascent of Lying started in this fandom with *urv. Her Google sources, her undying obsession for S (and the mandatory hypocrisy that comes along with it), her paltry stories fit for people who never took a flight overseas in their entire life (not something bad at all, but in this context, this makes you incredibly fragile), her remake of the Twilight fandom hullaballoo and her chutzpah.
It continued with Jess, on this side of the fandom: her OTT girlish enthusiasm, her elusiveness IRL and finally, her capitulation and resurrection, under the same name, but with a totally opposed POV. For perhaps you don't know it, but Jess 2.0 has been back since quite a while ago, now making amends about her former strong beliefs. Even taking full responsibility for some 'receipts' (remember the S lemon pin/wedding ring one? she confirmed it was her and it probably was a #silly, horrible lie). How convenient and how depressing, isn't it? Reading her new, sparse blog brought along two firm thoughts: why this need to robotically inform us about her happiness and her change of heart? Also, how many Anons did Jess 2.0 send, since her comeback, to this side of the fandom?
Let this disappointment be my sin, then and let the link to her new hole in the wall remain undisclosed by this page. I have no wish to either start a flaming war, nor give this woman more space than she deserves:
Tumblr media
You'll have to deal with the very childish LMAO and this completely irresponsible explanation: 'it was fun to fantasize at the time'. No, lady: you LIED. You lied through your teeth and because you had the privilege of having a thirsty audience, you thoroughly enjoyed this strange avatar of fame, as you say it publicly yourself, now. You even were, most probably, heavily used by ***'s PR and even S (that is a very firm belief), just like another very fragile individual, who switched sides in a far more vocal and pathetic way. That makes for a mixed bag of truths and lies, something I think we all are way too familiar with, by now. But that does not preclude, nor excuse in any shape or form, your eagerness to ahem, 'embellish" a very real love story and twist it according to your naivete and parochial life experience. Morally, you are 0, to me: a sentimental troll, completely on par with *urv.
I could blather on and on about Jess's main competitor, Puffy, too. I think I already wrote enough about her, if only because many believed me to be her latest avatar, which is completely ridiculous, but ridiculous with an agenda. So, did Puffy lie, too? Probably, especially while creating Stella and Deep Throat out of thin air. Let's agree she heavily extrapolated, which is a shame, because some of her analysis is really spot on.
The Ascent of Lying then morphed, along with an US busy social and political agenda being more and more sensitive to the 'fake news" issue, towards the Factchecker Anti blogs, who mimicked neutrality and promoted online stalking to unprecedented levels. Along came people like Meowkabob, who even manufactured their own facts/evidence and released them online. That was perfectly premeditated and done for increased credibility (I have debunked her shite last fall, if you remember), being fully aware that her libel could not be justified only by a prior, questionable, 'London experience', of which we conveniently have no concrete details. The other blog, you all know and sometimes visit: whether she is a PR plant or lonely rider doesn't really matter, yet a stalker and a hypocrite in her own right, too. The fact that both these persons suddenly felt an urge to express themselves during the heavily conspiratorial climate of the first COVID pandemic wave is not innocent at all, I think.
Lying is the real Uncharted Territory of this fandom and one of the main reasons we seldom have nice things to talk about, anymore. I barely scratched its surface and merely stated the obvious. If anything, it only comforted and strengthened my own beliefs, which I always strived to base on personal findings and facts, along with other likeminded people's experience. And I'd rather take the general brunt and simply say 'I don't know", than embellish. Also, when I am wrong, I am wrong: it happens to the best of us and it's always either immediately edited and explained or taken full responsibility for.
What I do know with a reasonable degree of certainty is that These Two are together. And this is all that matters to me, justifying my presence here.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk. There's more, but here is just an overview of the sentiments that prompted my next investigation.

it seems like a lot of people, when discussing avatars, fixate either solely on their villainy and how completely bereft of morality they are, or how they are just a poor manipulated pawn of their patron. there’s a large focus on avatars either having malicious intent or a lack of control. and i feel like the thing a lot of fans are missing is that the fears don’t work like that. avatars don’t work like that. yes, a few of them are just shitty people, but the majority of them? what they do isn’t out of malice or cruelty. they are a thing obeying its nature. they hunt and hurt and kill because it feeds them and feeds their power.
as to how much of their actions are taken of their own volition and how much are the influence of their fear, i don’t think it matters that much. free will doesn’t really exist. people make choices based upon their life, circumstances, emotions, situations, and a hundred other factors. it’s a complicated knot that’s impossible to untangle.
but we know that the fears both
a. build off of and enhance what’s already there, what people already desire and feel and do
b. ramp that up to insane levels and twist it around to fit their own agenda (food and rituals)
c. make their avatars unable to back out of servitude without death, and detach them from both their own humanity and the rest of humanity to the point where choosing between their own lives or the lives of their prey is a simple decision.
basically, it’s like a rabbit who becomes a fox that must eat rabbits or die. the fox may be haunted by guilt in the early days, for eating what used to be its kin. maybe the occasional fox is even grief stricken enough to starve itself. but in the long run, that fox is a fox. the rabbits are no longer a peer with the same thoughts and feelings as them, to be sympathized with and understood. they are simply a food source, and the fox is not one of them anymore.
if the fox spends years and decades and centuries killing and eating rabbits, it might feel the occasional twinge of pity or amusement at their antics, but ultimately, they’re just food. feeling guilty about eating it gets them nowhere. after all, they had a choice in what they became, and they made it a long time ago.
it’s kind of like helen and jon’s conversation, where she explained that she felt the same guilt jon did at first, but it wasn’t getting her anywhere and eventually, she had to let it go and choose to eat to survive. jon started this process, too. in season 4, mainly, and also in season 5, but in season 5 he has the constant buffer of martin’s presence as a safeguard so it’s a little more complicated. but within months of his transformation, he started willingly taking live statements, uncaring for the victim’s state, just wanting to eat. it’s either eat or die, and any living avatars chose to eat. there is a reason they all admit that they did what they did not because they were under someone else’s control, but because they liked it and needed it and chose it.
so, trying to assign this narrative of avatars being either innocent pawns of their power with no choice in what they’re doing, or an evil entity with malicious intent who wants to be cruel, just doesn’t work. both could be viewed as part of the truth, but also, neither is really accurate, for the simple fact that anyone who serves the fears is operating off an entirely different mindset and lived experience that human morality just doesn’t really translate well to.
ironically enough, i think michael phrased it best- “There was a great evil, she said, and Michael was going to help her fight it. Am I evil, Archivist? Is a thing evil when it simply obeys its own nature? When it embodies its nature? When that nature is created by those which revile it?”
anyways, this is getting pretty long, sorry if it doesn’t make much sense. i’m just irritated by fandom trying to find a Morally Correct way for avatars to exist, and ignoring the fact that being an avatar doesn’t just give people a few spooky powers, it completely upends their entire existence and mindset and priorities and morality.
yeah exactly . morality and avatars is such an interesting concept that a lot of people simply handwave !! i . have thoughts but i can't word them right now but . i do agree with you anon - deceit
Im eating this anon - rosette

Japan's demisexual agenda continues in this show and, honestly, I don't mind. I enjoy the idea of One True Love as long as it isn't everywhere and Japan does it well. Especially with lots of these moments and lots of very good, very deep, emotional connections that make the idea of that One Love being the only one that fits make sense.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But also both Kazuma and Ren are struggling with the past all the time and they each only know their perspective on it and they've both got twisted ideas about the other person based on that past... it makes even more sense that neither of them has ever fallen in love again because they've never given up the past, they've never even begun to think past that first time they fell in love and had sex and that's where it all stopped for both of them even though life and time kept marching on.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I really do love Kazuma. He's so, so deeply in love and he will do anything if it means finding Ren again because he isn't going to let go of him this time, he will not let him go, he will not be deterred and he will not be stopped. He has found his love and he isn't letting anything or anyone, including the person he loves, destroy that.
Tumblr media
I welcome our long drink of a man with enough sass for his height and the same kind of protective streak that everyone else in this show has over the people they love.
Knowing that Ren is prone to panic attacks and that Yagami has been there beside him for a decade when he was apart from Kazuma and that he's been watching Ren try to get back to Kazuma for this entire time is just... it's intense, honestly, to imagine the act of loving someone who does not love you and who not only does not love you but seems utterly incapable of loving anyone but the one person he's already chosen.
Ren imprinted on Kazuma and no one else can take that place. Luckily Kazuma also imprinted.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Trauma fucks you up, y'all. It fucks you up deeply and it leaves you different and if you never face it, if you never share it, it only goes deeper.
Kazuma and Ren are each sides of the same coin. Kazuma will not let go but Ren is quick to release because he loves but he believes that all he can do is hurt.
But also this is just the dumbest thing. No wonder Yagami decides to talk to Kazuma where Ren is. Yagami understands what's going on even better than Ren does because he's seeing both of them, not just Ren seeing Kazuma.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pedestals everywhere. Japan loves putting a boy on a pedestal by another boy, it's their favorite and both Kazuma and Ren did that for the other. And, even now, only Kazuma is realizing how much he didn't and doesn't know while Ren is clinging to how he believes Kazuma is. They are the center of each other's universes but the way they spin around each other means they only see what they want to see and what they believe.
Kazuma blames himself for Ren leaving while Ren is desperately leaving Kazuma to protect him.
Kazuma is reaching out to Yagami in desperation, the same way Ren did, but he is a very different person with very different knowledge of the person he's calling and the person he loves.
Tumblr media
This tall drink of a cynical man who's watched Ren struggle with panic attacks and love for someone not even in his life for over a decade only to meet Kazuma and realize that he really, truly is as kind and innocent as Ren describes him and to realize that he both wants them to be together but also needs Kazuma to know all of what happened? Rough.
The sex talk is him pushing and pushing and pushing, trying to break Kazuma only to realize that he can't. He cannot shake Kazuma's unshakeable love for Ren any more than he can shake Ren's love for Kazuma.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And this is the moment Yagami knows he's going to tell Kazuma everything. He's going to tell him the truth. Because Kazuma not only loves Ren but believes in him, believes in everything about him... and has the strength not just to say it but to declare it and will have the strength to stand beside him even as he does what he needs to do for the court case.
We've known it from the start but this is the moment that Yagami realizes that Ren is also wrong about Kazuma, that Kazuma is stronger and deeper than he seems.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The final test.
But also one that I am a little torn on. I would have loved for Kazuma to just say he was gay. Because I'd lean towards him being gay... but I also did go on the whole 'demisexuality is Japan's favorite trope' thing above and I do mean that.
Is Kazuma gay or is he solely and only ever attracted to Ren? Does it matter if he claims the identity that fits his relationship (gay) or his mind (Ren)? Is it gay for your if he says gender never mattered and it was only Ren? I know that demisexuality and asexuality can both be used 'in place of' gay for you in a way but where does this fall?
I do lean towards this being much more specific than gay for you because neither Kazuma nor Ren experiences any attraction or love for anyone else in their years apart but that's also just kind of the soulmates bit speaking up.
Regardless, Kazuma passes Yagami's test with flying colors. Because he sees the same love in Kazuma as he sees, and saw, in Ren.
Tumblr media
There is no pain like this. Nothing.
But also it's so hard because Kazuma was literally in a coma. He had no means to support Ren, to try to fight alongside him, to try to help him. He was an unconscious child who would have done anything to stop that from happening and the way Yagami seems to think he should have known better is very frustrating because no one else would ever expect that of him.
They were both children. They were both trapped. Neither one of them is to blame and neither one of them deserves the weight that was put on their shoulders for their actions. This is not about Kazuma and Ren, this is about the adults who failed them so thoroughly and acting as if Kazuma is to blame for any of Ren's pain is wrong.
But also those tears are SO pretty.
Tumblr media
Yagami, my tall dark drink of cynical water, he was a 15 year old in a coma who was whisked away to a different country when he woke up. How was he supposed to know anything?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And this gives Kazuma a different perspective on the start of their relationship, the sex and the cuddling and everything as well as giving him what he needs to understand how much Ren loves him and to finally break that pedestal he kept him of perfection and worship.
Now he just needs to help Ren let him down as well so they can stand as equals.

A+ preview much hope is had.

assigning taylor swift songs to bridgerton couples (part 2)
with explanations that no one asked for (proceed with caution)
part 1 for a, b, c and d
eloise & phillip - i hadn’t even read the book and i knew paris was their song. i feel it captures their essence. “no, i didn't see the news 'cause we were somewhere else” while benophie are just as deep in the countryside, i think philoise truly don’t care about anything that goes on in the ton. “i want to brainwash you into loving me forever” i’m not sure why this line in particular stands out to me in context of their relationship. maybe because going into it they both had their agenda. also phillip constantly thinking he has to find a way to make eloise stay forever. “confess my truth in swooping, sloping, cursive letters” i think this one is self explanatory. secondly electric touch, i was hesitant about this one cause i’m just not a fan of this song sonically but the lyrics were too on point. “just breathe, just relax, it'll be okay // just the first time ever hanging out with you” - eloise sitting in her carriage on the way to meet a man who basically proposed to her without meeting once. from phillip’s “i've gotten used to no one callin' my phone” when eloise shows up and the servant’s “hey, we got a caller” and phillip going “wtf no one comes here, you sure about that”. also “i've grown accustomed to sleeping' alone” yeah eight years will do that. “i was thinking, just one time maybe the stars align, just one time and maybe I call you mine”
francesca & michael - so i have a story regarding this one. as i got to the second half of the book and the spice started flooding in, i felt like the need for some equally sexy music in the background and i remembered (honestly don’t know how i ever forgot) the altarpiece of taylor’s music  false god. truly all the stars aligned, while i read the words “she felt cherished. worshipped. loved” miss taylor swift sang “we'd still worship this love”. other than that it does fall into the vibes category. tho if one day we are blessed enough to actually get their season i am expecting every social media feed to be drowning in edits of  franchel to this song. but also alternatively to don’t blame me. again, sexy. well the spice in this book was just on another level and i also couldn’t figure out if taylor has a song about being in love with your cousins spouse for six years. i think this is more from michael’s perspective. i mean “i've been breaking' hearts a long time” he even broke mine by being fictional. “if you walk away i'd beg you on my knees to stay” michael stirling would absolutely do this and frankly i can’t stop picturing it. if we do get to them in the show some glorious day, this is my official plea to include this song in the soundtrack.
gregory & lucy - speak now is the somewhat lazy choice but have you read the prologue timed to this song. “i hear the preacher say, "speak now or forever hold your peace"” the church went silent “there's the silence, there's my last chance. i stand up with shaky hands, all eyes on me” the priest stopped his drone, and every spine in every pew twisted until every face was turned to the back. to him. “horrified looks from everyone in the room but i'm only looking at you” she said nothing, but he saw her. // she looked so beautiful. i rest my case. it was really hard to pick a song for them because there’s so many twists and turns in the book so my honourable mentions are haunted (when gregory convinced everything is solved and then lucy goes and marries another man) and daylight. finally i settled with ivy. “my pain fits in the palm of your freezing hand, taking mine but it's been promised to another” i mean lucy has been promised to another man from the start of the book. it just fits them, okay (can you tell i’ve been writing this for four hours at this point).
hyacinth & gareth - dear god, hyacinth is my favourite character in the whole books series. i adore her but for the love of god i could not figure out what songs to choose for hyareth. it was truly a headache and if anyone has any suggestions, please do not hesitate to tell me. because they are such a chaotic and energetic duo, i wanted something that would fit them musically but ended up picking cowboy like me and peace. both are truly in the vibes category, i don’t have much of an explanation. in cowboy like me “and the skeletons in both our closets plotted hard to fuck this up” felt kinda reminiscent of the whole polt line with gareth and his father who wasn’t really his father. peace has a little more substance to it. in my head this is more from hyacinth, she is wild and you will never get bored with her but she can also be a lot and tiring. “you know that i'd swing with you for the fences, sit with you in the trenches. give you my wild, give you a child” this is who hyacinth is, she is a ride or die, and i truly believe she would sit in the trenches with gareth.

I don’t want them to adapt Claudia hating Louis just bc is what magalyra and virgina are expecting just so they can say, see Louis is as bad as Lestat and Claudia hated them both the same and that Louis was just a weak jerk, don’t think the show is doing that and I love he was actually who slit lestat’s throat.
I can understand that bcuz this all gets exhausting.
I just looked over the books so I could remember how this all read there. While keeping it vague for ppl who don't want detailed spoilers, I'll just say that I don't even think book canon is meant to be pure hatred. I think it's just the reality of emotions involved with family and parenthood. I don't think anything was rly meant to be implying that Claudia's perspective was the single truth (or even real in some ways).
Also whether or not Louis slit Lestat's throat doesn't make him stronger or weaker. Again, I understand why the feelings are there but a lot of confusion in the fandom starts with how ppl define what makes someone a victim or not in the first place. The whole point of all these characters is how they're all suffering each other somehow. I mean, I also like that he's the one shown killing Lestat here, but does anyone think Claudia is weaker for having *not* been the one to do it instead? No.
It can't be helped how ppl are gonna read into plots and characters with racist shit, but it can be called out when it happens. We can't sacrifice exploring stuff in fiction just bcuz some ppl will twist it around to sound worse and fit their agenda. We're at this point to begin with bcuz a lot of complex characters have only been written for white ppl. We have to keep pushing forward allowing non white characters to exist and be fucked up and tell ppl who interpret it badly that it's being done badly. It's obviously not easy or this account wouldn't even exist, but it's the only way to keep moving forward and getting better and better shit. (I hope this made sense, running on almost zero sleep lol)

Dear God, I want to expose a cult that has been lurking around college campuses. I know this for a fact because I was victimized by one known as the International Christian Church, or the ICC. Telltale signs, for me, that this was in fact a cult and not a product of my imagination: 1. They prey on the weak and naive, or those who are much younger in age and therefore, unable to form proper judgments about life. 2. No room for disagreement or questioning whatsoever at their "Bible" studies. 3. Feelings aren't valid to them. Only God's Word is valid. Now, I understand this to a degree. But to say our feelings don't matter is abusive. 4. I can't explain it, but do you ever just sense that people are hiding something deeper from you, in terms of doctrine, or behavior? I got that sense from them quite a lot. 5. They paint themselves as the sweetest people in the world. And to a degree, they are. They are extremely friendly and open-hearted. But.... beware. Something darker is there underneath. 6. Avoidance of the presence of darkness or maybe "heavier" emotional topics is prevalent. 7. Twisting of the Scripture to fit their own agendas. E.g. We "have" to both "obey" and believe in "order" to be a Christian, when clearly, the Bible doesn't state this.... and "we are different from other churches" because x, y, and z. I find it odd that they think they are above other denominations, and also, have a weird mentoring program. Mentoring is normal. What's not normal is reporting every instance of "sin" or perceived sin to said mentor. 8. Challenges are viewed as immediate threats to reputation, and instantly dismissed as being "valid" since they are "forms of persecution" which is "normal" in God's Kingdom. It's normal, yes.... But not the types of persecution they are referring to and are subjected to. 9. Sometimes I just feel this malevolent spirit trying to harass me every time I talk to the leader. It's set up in this format like, how I'm the lowly student, and they're all the elitist teachers with infinitely more knowledge of the Bible than I have. Bizarre and smothering, also very brainwashing. 10. I noticed at the prayer meetings, how I'm purposely excluded and shunned just because I am not officially deemed as a member of their church. Baptized into their church, that is. It's like, are you about genuine salvation, or are you more about the rituals and the outward manfiestation of that experience? I pray that anyone who has been affected by the ICC (International Christian Church) will AVOID it at all costs and that this church will shut down or at least be brought to saving knowledge of the truth of Christ. Disband this church, Lord, or allow it to conform to safer, healthier practices that do not involve heavy-handed manipulation, browbeating, or Bible thumping. They are in so deep that they are blinded by their own deceitfulness. To them, it's all about "the Bible" but they are living a fairytale delusion of being attached to a church, an organization, under the guise of "let's seek God together." I also heard that they are highly invasive when it comes to private living situations, or that they try to control which members live with one another. That they are only allowed to marry other church members, and that they aren't even allowed to kiss each other until marriage. Just so many strict rules and regulations that God never even said in the first place. God is CREATIVE! His Spirit is alive and active and He isn't "all" about the Bible. Yes, that's important. But it's only one aspect of who He truly is. Please stop idealizing the Bible to fit your standards and obsessing over it unhealthily. I used to do that and it was BAD for me. Pray for these people and don't be swept away by their deceptive practices like I (almost) was. Again, they are very sweet and friendly but it's over-the-top so don't trust it.

Honestly. You should trust everything Carnage says, but NOT at the same time. Because he is fully capable of lying, sure. But he is also capable of telling you the truth, but not telling you what PART is honesty. Or even worse.
Twisting it / making it seem cryptic. For his own agenda. And half the time, his own agenda is watching you lose yourself or become so broken, you aren't aware. He's deranged as hell, but he can be so damn smart. Lethal. An apex predator with no regards to how he gets what he wants.
He seems smarter than most others of his kind. Perhaps that is because he is driven by vengeance. Or perhaps it is because, unlike his own "father" and many others before him, Carnage was "born" on Earth. Maybe cause of that, he has a better understanding of thinking and planning and coherent thoughts.
Still deranged as fuck and blood thirsty. But has such a different way of getting his target because he, whether he likes it or not, has a pretty good handle on how humans and their emotions work. And I am sure the other half of that came from Cletus. Who was a blood thirsty serial killer who was not afraid to use people either.
In all honesty, Cletus and Carnage were a better fit for each other than Eddie and Venom were. At least in the start. In the first Venom, Eddie had fought with Venom every step of the way until the last bit. (Which is very much valid). But from the start, it seemed Cletus and Carnage worked well together.
Which was heavily tragic for their targets and anyone else.
I know it's because both were fucked up and what not. That Cletus had no sense of morals, and did not care whether innocent people died or not. But it's still so interesting to me. (I think the only thing they disagreed on was Shriek, which was only cause she had a power that was useful against Venom, but it could also harm Carnage. So Carnage didn't like her).
Carnage and Cletus were a dark parrel to Venom and Eddie. And my Carnage considered Cletus his only friend. Like. ONLY friend. He did not care about anyone else.
Nor did he heed anyone else's words. But he would deffo listen to Cletus. I am going to drop a shred of my lore for my blog:
Carnage saw Cletus as his brother.
And I will delve into that more later. >:)

Genshin Theory: Fontaine's State
I am by NO means a theorist, and I RARELY come up with my own theories for shows or films I watch. Also, by the time I'm writing this, I've only watched the teaser trailer twice. So please forgive me if this isn't super-duper in-depth or if it has any "holes" or whatever. This is mostly a fun thought I had that I wanted to get off my chest. More under the cut:
So... what will Fontaine be like? Given what we know so far, it's probably Belobog's Expy from HSR but like in France with the elite being on top and the others being underground.
For the problem: I think it's a combination of the 4 archon quests so far. With the Archon's ally being corrupted, the Archon trying to help us, the Archon is the antagonist and the country's citizens are the problem.
We know that there was a previous Hydro archon before the current one and from Dainsleif that:
The God of Justice lives for the spectacle of the courtroom, seeking to judge all other gods. But even she knows not to make an enemy of the divine.
And another clue implied from Nahida and Lazurite stone is that Focalors is a person who hides the truth behind the spectacle and to protect her country, she makes them too engrossed in spectacle to care about the other things from Celestia's eyes.
So the innocent are living the high life while the convicted are underground (think Livin' It Up on Top from Hadestown).
What do the citizens have to do with the problem? Well... I think the judging jury/equivalent to their government is currently run by 'nice people TM' instead of good people. Let's be honest. Nice =/= good.
People can do nice things without being good people and it's mainly the motivation and intention instead of actions. The judges probably have their pre-determined image of what a person is and ever will be regardless of what they've done. Basically, a double standard where if someone deemed a villain does a crime, they're punished but if it's a 'nice person TM', they'll get a slap on the wrist.
So has Fontaine always been this way? I don't think so. After Khanreiah's destruction where the previous Hydro Archon met her demise, Focalors was kinda like a mix of Zhongli and Ei: locking herself away and trusting the people know what to do when her attention had to be turned elsewhere.
Once, Fontaine was probably a utopia but after Focalors gave her country free rein, the court decided to twist her own words and make it a dystopia. The upper-class court probably decided that since they live in paradise, why bother with the lower class?
So they twisted her words to fit their self-serving agenda and exiled anyone to the underground area to those who don't fit their ideals, thinking they've already had their chance for forgiveness and are doomed for life.
Maybe the Traveller and Paimon will meet Focalors face-to-face, an emotional wreck and dishevelled. They will show Focalors what Fontaine became in her absence and maybe they'll work together to rework the system: allowing the guilty to live a 2nd chance and for those truly beyond redemption to be punished as well as creating representatives for both sides and opening the bridge between the under and overworld.
So yes, like I said at the beginning, this is by no means meant to be a perfect or a flawless theory, but it was something fun to think about, and if you hadn't considered this before and would like to add it to your personal headcanons or correct me, go ahead! Just remember where you got the idea from. :D

There are many commentors who compare Chirin with Bambi from the Felix Salten novel or even Simba from The Lion King or Littlefoot from The Land Before Time. But other than being cutesy animals who lost their mother to a predator, there is actually little to compare between these four animals. For one thing, their stories did not end in tragedy nor did they seek revenge. Here are but a few of the many characters that suit Chirin better.
Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars. Anakin Skywalker (later Darth Vader) is the first person I compared Chirin to; both turned to the dark side after losing their mothers and sought vengeance on their murderers. One key difference is that Anakin already kills the Tusken Raiders (like what Wor did to Chirin's family in the book) and this story is what if Anakin became a Tusken Raider to avenge Shmi. But since he is already a Jedi, that ship has sailed. It isn't until Episode III that he finally becomes Darth Vader and Chirin's wool is just as black as his cape. Another key difference is that Palpatine was manipulating Anakin into betraying the Jedi while Wor just simply gave him the harsh truth of the world. Unlike Vader however, Chirin is not redeemed by his son (even if he had one), but like Vader, he realizes that his quest to save Padme was all for nothing and he is stuck as a robotic monstrosity. Another Star Wars character is Darth Revan, who started as a Jedi, then a Sith and finally became somewhere in between, just like Chirin. Chirin could also be compared with Galen Marek from the video game The Force Unleashed, growing up and training under his father's killer, then turning to the light. Unlike Chirin, however, he dies. Obi-Wan Kenobi could not have put it better: "You've allowed this dark lord to twist your mind until you've become the very thing you swore to destroy" and this applies to both Chirin and Anakin.
Elphaba Thropp from the book and musical Wicked. Elphaba shares similar ambitions with Chirin in seeking power, becoming failure heroes and ending up becoming a horrible monster (Chirin became a wolf-like ram, Elphaba became the Wicked Witch of the West). Some of the songs from the musical version of Wicked seem to fit well with Chirin. "The Wizard and I" fits with Chirin's ambitions of being Woe's partner, while "Defying Gravity" resonates with his passion of becoming a greater force while "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished" represents Chirin's feelings at what he has done. The song also could provide an alternate interpretation to the ending where Chirin decides to live up to his reputation as a monster, just as Elphaba did to the denizens of Oz. Glinda, the book/show's deuteragonist could also be a representation of Chirin's mother's spirit trying in vain to bring him back to the light. Like Elphaba, they express heartbreak over losing their loved ones (Fyero and Wor) in the climax, but unlike Elphaba, the only ending Chirin gets is worthy of the real Wicked Witch of the West.
Eren Yeager from Attack on Titan. Chirin's mom was eaten by Woe, Eren's mom was eaten by a Titan. For this, they became determined to become stronger, but while Eren joins the Survey Corps, Chirin joins Wor and they both end up becoming the very things they swore to kill. There are two key differences, though: Chirin's transformation is motivated by revenge and a desire to prove himself as a predator, while Eren's is motivated by a desire to protect his friends and his people from the Titans. Additionally, Eren's story takes place in a much larger and more complex world, with political intrigue and a wide range of characters with their own motivations and agendas.
Thorfinn from The Vinland Saga. He is raised by the man who killed his father (Wor in this version is Askeladd) and is probably more accurate than Eren. However, as Thorfinn's story progresses, he undergoes a significant transformation. He starts to question his own motivations and realizes that his pursuit of revenge has consumed him and caused him to lose sight of what's truly important. This realization leads him to start seeking a different path, one that's focused on building a better future rather than avenging the past. While there are similarities between Thorfinn and Chirin in terms of their initial motivations and desire for revenge, Thorfinn's story is much more complex and nuanced, with a wider range of characters and themes. Additionally, while Chirin's transformation is largely physical, as he becomes a stronger predator, Thorfinn's transformation is more internal and psychological.
Bruce Wayne/Batman from the DC Comics universe is also an accurate example. Like Chirin in the Lyrica and kamishibai adaptations, he loses both of his parents. But while Chirin was consumed by vengeance and trained under Woe, Batman did his best to keep his emotions in check and was trained by a great deal of masters. Chirin's adult form is just as terrifying as Batman's costume in the eyes of his enemies. Like Batman, Chirin does confront Joe Chill, the man who murdered his parents, but the gangster ends up getting killed by his own men. Chirin also has some similarities with Batman sidekick Jason Todd, who started as Robin, then he and his mother were murdered by the Joker and he came back as the Red Hood to avenge her death.
Inigo Montoya from The Princess Bride. Obvious reasons but with a more comical effect.
Ken Amada from Persona 3 also lost his mom to a monster and sought revenge on her murderer. Both characters also undergo transformations as a result of their experiences. Chirin becomes a fierce predator, while Ken becomes a Persona user and gains the ability to fight against the Shadows. However, there are also some key differences between the two characters. Chirin's story is more about his personal journey and transformation, while Ken's story is more closely tied to the overarching plot of Persona 3. Additionally, Ken's transformation is not solely driven by revenge, but also by a desire to protect his friends and to make a positive difference in the world. Not to mention the fact that Ken understood that revenge will not bring his mother back while Chirin does not outright say this out-loud.
Jack Morgan from Red Dead Redemption is also another similarity. Lost their dads and sought revenge on the persons who murdered him. At least Jack is more sociable then Chirin though.
Hope Estheim from Final Fantasy XIII. Same as Ken, but fails to exact his revenge and looks up to Snow as a father figure, just like Chirin and Wor.
Clay Lincoln from Mafia III. Like Chirin from the book and other literary adaptations, he loses his family to a criminal and spends the entirety of the game teaming up with other criminals to take over New Orleans. Like Chirin, he even questions his actions after killing the mob boss and the guy seems perfectly willing to let Clay kill him.
Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach is a more heroic version of Chirin that aligns more accurately with the Bambi comparison. After losing his mother, he too gains power in the form of seeing the supernatural, whereas with Chirin, it's becoming stronger and that is what Ichigo does. Had Chirin protected his flock in the aftermath of the story from afar, then he would be more in tune with Ichigo's desire as a Soul Reaper to protect the people from evil spirits.
Any other comparisons?

The Bitcoin-Euro pair is one of those matchups that feels like it was fated—like peanut butter meeting jelly or two shoes finally finding each other in a chaotic closet. In the current market context, there’s one thing looming over this duo like an old, wise trading ghost—the symmetrical triangle pattern. And just like any ancient trading ghost, it’s full of mysterious clues, hidden powers, and yes, a few surprising traps for the unwary. Stick around, and I’ll show you how to master this triangle without getting your wallet tangled in the folds. The Symmetrical Triangle—More Than Just a Shape on a Chart Let’s get real. If you look at the symmetrical triangle for the first time, you might think: “Is this just a fancy doodle with two converging lines? Couldn’t my five-year-old draw that?” And technically, yes, they could. But you see, the symmetrical triangle isn’t your average art class sketch—it’s like a well-engineered mousetrap, sitting patiently on the charts, ready to either reward the keen or slap the unsuspecting trader. In the case of Bitcoin vs. Euro, this pattern signals market indecision, which is almost ironic—because if there’s one thing Bitcoin is never short of, it’s drama. The symmetrical triangle tells us that buyers and sellers have been arm-wrestling for ages, neither gaining the upper hand, and they’re both getting tired. Eventually, one side is going to lose their grip, and that’s when the fun—or the heartbreak—begins. Now, here’s where many traders miss the mark: They mistake these ‘equidistant knights’ (yep, I’m romanticizing two lines on a chart) as purely symmetrical. But the truth is, one side usually has an agenda. And if you understand where the volume comes in, that’s when you can sneak in like a ninja and make a smart move. Seeing Beyond the Smoke and Mirrors: Bitcoin’s Volatility Game Bitcoin and the Euro are like two divas on the same show—and they don’t like to share the spotlight. What’s important here is to think about the context. Does this symmetrical triangle follow a sharp uptrend? Or was it preceded by a big, unending downtrend that had you questioning every life choice, including that one time you ate street food at 2 a.m.? Depending on what came before, the breakout will often continue the original trend—what the pros call "the trend is your friend." In other words, don’t go betting against the flow unless you want the kind of ‘suspenseful plot twist’ that involves your account balance plummeting like a bad sitcom. The volume is the real gossip here. When you see volume drying up within the triangle, it's like watching a dance party that’s about to end. But if you catch that volume spike just as the breakout starts—now that’s your ride home. Why Most Traders Get It Wrong: The Pitfalls of Emotional Trading Most traders tend to look at symmetrical triangles and say, “Oh, cool, it’s breaking out!” while slapping that buy button without an ounce of due diligence. This is the equivalent of buying that pair of shoes you saw online at 2 a.m. without reading the reviews first—and sure enough, they arrive, only for you to find out they fit like cardboard coffins for your toes. Similarly, these triangles require a bit more finesse. The Bitcoin-Euro pair often sees traders falling into the hype—they hear “Bitcoin” and start mentally drafting yacht purchase contracts. The thing is, this particular crypto doesn’t always play nice with currency pairs, and it sure likes a good fake-out. The symmetrical triangle’s breakout could easily trick you if you’re not analyzing volume or if you’re not keeping an eye on those classic fake breakout signs. You need to set your sights on those levels that really matter—like waiting until the price breaks out with conviction. If you’re in before the move is confirmed, it’s like stepping into a moving sidewalk only to realize you stepped onto the "Walk the Other Way" lane. Suddenly, the whole market is rushing against you, and you’re staring at a rapidly dwindling account. How to Predict Market Moves With Precision Now, here’s the insider scoop. The symmetrical triangle may seem neutral at first—buyers and sellers poised equally. But, the secret to predicting the breakout direction lies in the overall market sentiment. Does Bitcoin look ready to pump? Is there European macroeconomic data hinting at Euro strength? If you can read between the lines of macro news and sentiment analysis, this triangle becomes less about equal forces and more about understanding which side has the larger bicep ready to push through. Ninja Tactics for Trading the Symmetrical Triangle Like a Pro Here are some advanced, lesser-known techniques to give you the edge: - Stop-Loss Placement: Always place your stop-loss at a distance that respects market volatility. Too tight, and you get shaken out—imagine trying to jump a hurdle before you even finish lacing up. You need to think ahead and consider previous swing points to prevent these mishaps. - False Breakouts Are Gifts: Honestly, one of the biggest insider secrets is that false breakouts (those nasty fakeouts that seem like they're out to destroy you) can actually be great entry points. If you see a breakout that doesn’t hold—and the price quickly retreats—you might have an incredible opportunity to short. - The Volume-Triggered Entry: Look for volume confirmation. When there’s suddenly a large volume spike after a sustained period of silence, it's akin to a massive flashing arrow pointing you in the right direction. - Macro Backdrop Analysis: Don’t underestimate the economic backdrop. If there are major monetary policy changes afoot—say, new interest rate decisions—this triangle’s breakout could be heavily influenced. Know what’s coming. Check those economic calendars, my friends! Applying the Insights: A Practical Walkthrough Suppose Bitcoin has been in a broad uptrend, and you notice the price is consolidating into a symmetrical triangle. At this point, you're probably wondering, "So is this a springboard to the moon or a deathtrap back to crypto hell?" Start by observing volume. It’s decreasing within the triangle? Excellent—that’s typical. But then comes a big spike—there’s your cue. If the price breaks upward and volume confirms it, set a buy order. Place that stop-loss below the last reaction low, and make sure you’re not just betting blind—know that you’re in tune with the big picture. Is there news supporting Bitcoin’s advance, or does the ECB look set to mess with the Euro? All this contributes to how confidently you jump on the move. Conclusion: Taming the Triangle with Confidence The symmetrical triangle pattern—particularly with a volatile pair like Bitcoin-Euro—isn't a magic box of profit; it’s more of a high-stakes strategy game. If you’ve learned anything today, it’s this: Don’t bet on breakouts without volume, and always be aware of the macro environment. While others might treat these triangles like a coin toss, you now have the tools to stack the odds in your favor. And who knows—maybe one day you’ll look back at this triangle, your winning move, and smile knowing you traded it like a boss while the rest were buying those cardboard shoes. —————– Image Credits: Cover image at the top is AI-generated Read the full article

My point of view of heimerdinger character
With heimerdinger, he is a good person but a terrible leader. He, to me is the definition of toxic positive. A person who believes if he plays both sides or just listens to what others say and gives actions thinking it applies to all without checking or verifying that both sides got the help. In the last act where heim was walking through zaun, it was like his first time seeing the true reality of it. He probably knew the situation was bad but didn't know the extent of it. How can piltoverians do something without heim knowing? Bruh my own principal didn't know that the repeat prices were raised for the courses, I do believe they kept something from him and twisted the truth for others so he doesn't fully question it or investigate. You see how Marcus operates in the first season, it is clearly not that difficult if everyone is a part of it or more powerful persons are there to do damage control and coverups.
Heim by no means isn't a saint, I strongly believe he should have been removed from the council in every move and the way he talks about ekko to jayce still shows piltover still have some effect on him however he is right that the hexcore/hextech shouldn't have been announced so early without more testing (*it happens later on but still, it like the Samsung phone 7 incident, release early products due to demands then having magic time bombs going off). Heim was definitely holding back persons due to fear and lack of consideration of time. He is so used to having time to do countless tests, he continuously forgets that humans have to take some uncalculated risk to reach their goal or they probably never reach it.
Heim policy of "teach them how to fish to keep them fed for days" is one of the major issues with piltover and zaun. How? Due to the fact that if both keep fishing and one decides to use force or influence to ruin the other fishing techniques, space and catches behind said back, at the end of the day one looks victorious in using his resources while the other seems lazy, cruel or uninterested especially if the other decides to retaliate. No one with good interest saw this first person ruining the others stuff but everyone saw how they retaliated. There wasn't anyone to keep things in check, to ensure that both sides weren't playing dirty, only those who saw the act and the ones who wished to reduce said persons into nothing. Heim plays the part of a blind, deaf and mute referee in a competition of skills.
Heimerdinger's character growth is him finally opening his eyes from the pollution of the perfume piltover had over him. Yes he has a lot to make up for however arcane is clearly showing that heim want the best for both sides. He just needed to step out of the zone and make it work again. He has been a puppet and nothing more than a symbol piltover uses to push their thoughts and agenda onto zaun. The fact that they easily replace him with jayce shows that they only kept him around cause he offered fresh ideas while being gullible enough to puppet. It is though sad that it took heimerdinger this long to break out of it, then again when you have been traumatized by something and had persons everyday reinforce certain beliefs onto you, especially for that long, taking new steps into something new seems not needed. It doesn't excuse said behaviour but explains certain things.
I think heim fits best in an advisor or teacher role, one with small leadership he can manage than the grand project manager or city leadership he had. Here he has the freedom to really express himself while also having control over the environment. He can guide others without fully giving them handouts.
Sorry if this is long, I had this bottle up in my head too long. I like discussions on these but don't like it when it leads to death threats or unnecessary arguments.
*note the Samsung incident is just an example I could think of what would have happen if hextech or the hexcore was shown early. It could have also led to mass panic cause the city wasn't accepting of magic
*the ekko introduction I generally don't think he means in a harsh way. I think he is just feeling awkward seeing that jayce kicked him out however others may see it that way and I can't blame them.
*also this is just my thoughts on heimerdinger. People keep saying he lacks feelings when he clearly doesn't. I like discussions that op had and just felt like to yap.
"In the pursuit of great we failed to do good" is a quote that, in my opinion, transcends the scene it was said in
it's applicable in almost every scene/part in the show. Vander wanted greatness and failed to do good, he noticed and stopped, which is also what caused the fall out with Silco.
The obvious with Jayce and Viktor, of course
but the council too. The entire council fails to do good but does "great" things despite that. Decisions that ruin lives, that destroy people and communities. In their pursuit of great they left people behind and are now suffering the consequences because they failed to do good. They are the city of progress with literal bodies in the basement.
The same can actually be said about Caitlyn, too. She is trying so hard to do great, to do everything to succeed she fails to see the consequences and she also fails to do good. And Vi followed her.
Well and Heimerdinger is just... like he just failed to do great and good, but I guess at least he is trying now? lmao, no but seriously I think it's terribly overlooked that he IS in fact trying now. Doesn't erase all the years of neglect and not caring but it's a beginning.

"The mark of a great mind is to consider an idea without accepting it." -Aristotle
I wish I had remembered this quote last week.
So basically last week, a lot of people on TikTok and Youtube were saying that the Rapture was coming because of the eclipse on Monday. Being gullible, I fell for this madness and went back to being a Christian after being kind of an agnostic, atheist or a "lukewarm" christian for many years. I was so worried that I was going to be left behind and left to deal with the prophecies in Revelations.
Obviously, the Rapture did not happen.
Not only do I feel stupid on a secular level but also on a spiritual level because there is LITERALLY a quote saying that "no one knows the hour that Jesus will return" (Matthew 24:36). It's even worse because a lot of religious content creators, (despite having the potential to cultivate new followers from the event,) were debunking it during the eclipse. I can honestly say that I respect them. You know this reminds me of the Aztec Calendar incident from 2012 and I feel ashamed that, in almost 12 years, I either haven't changed or regressed back into being that gullible.
I'm still a Christian and I'm still adjusting back into educating myself on the Bible and it's difficult to transition into this new life. But this is basically just a warning to both atheists and theists alike to REALLY practice skepticism, especially when it comes to events like this. Thankfully, I didn't give any money to a corrupt individual like Kenneth Copeland but this whole thing really humbled me on how smart I thought I was.
To those who don't practice Christianity, I'm begging you to read through the Bible because there are influential people who will either believe this conspiracy theory or use it to manipulate the public and you need to be able to understand where they are getting that information in order to understand their thought processes and critically analyze their positions. It will either make sense to you and you'll believe it or you'll be able to debunk it. There is no downside to researching. But this was affecting American politics before so research would have helped in a debate prior to this event anyway. I'd start with the books of Isaiah, Matthew and Revelations because that's where the prophecies are supposed to be coming from but feel free to look into the other books as well.
And Christians, please read your Bible so you don't fall victim to false prophets who literally contradict the word of God. These false prophets are still claiming to know the day Jesus is supposed to return even though they were just proven wrong, so please be wary. Also wealth gospel is bunk, don't fall for it. Also, a lot of American Republicans are proposing an American Christian theocracy in 2025 so please note that a lot of politicians are going to try and use your lack of biblical knowledge to manipulate you into voting for them despite being corrupt individuals. "Every good tree will bring good fruit and every corrupt tree will bring forth evil fruit" (Matthew 7:17-23). Please examine their past actions and if they are continuing to work that way and don't let them manipulate you.
Also external sources will help you find the truth, as well, but whenever researching anything, (including the Bible,) take note of potential agendas, the time it was written and potential errors in translation/articulation. Even if something is true, opportunists will twist it into a lie to fit their agenda and you need to be prepared to call that behavior out.
As a people, let's PLEASE normalize curiosity, skepticism and diligent research. Please normalize a love for peace and quiet so people can stop chasing after the dopamine high that the perceived apocalypse clearly brings us.
If you're curious about that whole situation or you just want to tell me I'm stupid, I'm here I guess.

Breeding Kink
I’m taking this as a kink instead so I hope that’s alright for the request! I apologize if it isn’t! I treated them like drabbles and if I’m honest I’m a bit disappointed in my work ;-; this rose tea is not my best.
Tumblr media
Illumi
Tumblr media
You opened your door to your pitch-black apartment with the same sluggishness and tiredness you had walking all the way from your work to here. Today had been one of those days, and those were fine once in a while...but the entire week? No, that was not normal. You had been on edge and stressed to the point of burning out. So the plans for this evening consisted of showering, eating something quick, and just dying on your bed. That was until you noticed the figure sitting on your sofa.
Illumi's back was to you; he was so still and quiet, you might as well think he fell asleep while sitting.
"You're late," his voice cut through the silence.
"I didn't know I was expected," you replied, and it was the truth; Illumi had left for a week on a job and didn't even called you. You weren't feeling particularly forgiving this evening, and the edge of your tone contrasted the calm and monotony in his
"It's been a long day, Illumi, is there anything I can do for you?"
Your relationship wasn't the best when it came to normal; there was a lot of miscommunication or lack of it. But Illumi did his best, he was interested in you, and that didn't happen often.
"As my love interest, you should always expect me is a quality that every wife should have. It's their job to wait for their husbands no matter how long they take" Illumi turned slightly to look into your eyes as he talked.
You perked up at the word wife; he had never made allusions to marriage, at least not directly like this. You knew his goals when it came to relationships. Still, you always expected him to leave you in the end for someone more suitable, almost royalty. After all, his parents were very demanding, and you knew you didn't fit the role of the perfect wife, starting with the fact that you worked a regular job and haven't found your nen if you even had one.
"But we're not married, Illumi. Besides, I don't think your parents would approve of someone as vain as me. I'm not strong, and I don't meet the qualifications. So..." you shrugged in the end, dropping your keys on the counter and your bag nearby.
Your hand went to flip the switch; all this talk in the darkness was unnerving you, especially when you took into consideration Illumi was an assassin. Right when you flipped the switch, Illumi's hand was on your wrist, turning off the lights once more. You could feel his toned chest as he pulled you close to him. For a second, you struggled in a fight or flight response, and Illumi's face went to the crook of your neck. His breath on your neck sent chills down your spine as he planted a feather-like kiss on your pulse. The action almost threatening, and it made you swallow. The fear and desire burned equally in your veins as he stretched your clothes, leaving a trail of open-mouthed kisses all the way to your shoulder.
"I think I've given you too much freedom. Do you think you're in control in this relationship?" He whispered to your shoulder, his other hand holding you tightly to him. "Do you think you can talk back to me just because you're tired? If you're going to be my wife, you need to learn how to behave properly."
Illumi slammed you down on the island counter, both of your hands twisted on your back held with one hand. You gasped and yelped as he did so. Whether it was from desire or fear, you didn't know. He bent over you, leaning close to the side of your head, nibbling your earlobe and whispering.
"Don't worry, I'll teach you" Illumi's free hand caressed your side, going down and squeezing everything he could. "The first lesson is to obey my every command. Can you do that?"
You nodded frantically, and he tilted his head innocently as if he wasn't holding you down or grinding into your hips slowly.
"Good girl" Illumi turned your body so you'd be laying on your back facing him. His hands went to your shirt, ripping it open, sending the buttons flying all around.
"Second, we have to continue the Zoldyck Legacy..." Illumi caressed a trail down your stomach and undid his pants, his eyes never leaving yours.
"I'll ensure you're filled to the brim, just to be sure it takes. We still have all night to try."
Hisoka
Tumblr media
Hisoka had managed to find you where you were staying. You were on a short business trip. After he had disappeared to go on another gig, you didn't think it would matter if you actually did the same for the same reason. But Hisoka didn't like that. Like the petulant child he is, he was expecting to arrive home and be received and welcomed with a nice meal and some more relaxing activities afterward. But all he got was a nicely written note on the counter explaining your absence.
P.S feed your cat dummy :)
"Hmm," the cat meow made him look down to the fluff currently sitting at his feet, "She left you too, huh? Well, at least you welcomed me." He said in a bitterly playful tone.
After feeding the adorable and fearsome beast that guarded your apartment, he went on to look for you. He wanted your attention, and he wanted it now.
You had been staying at a company-paid hotel near the station. It was a relatively short trip, three days max, counting on everything going according to the agenda. After you had finished your last reports, you were set for a nice shower and sleep. Your stomach growling said otherwise, though. So you ordered some room service and went to shower quickly just in case the food came. When you were out in your robes, there was a knock on the door.
"Coming"
You opened the door, still drying your hair, when you looked up at the man serving you. It was Hisoka. Somewhere along the way, after he figured where you were, he had seen the boy coming up with your food, and once that was temporarily disposed of, he went on to serve you.
"Mmm, hello (Y/N)-Chan, how lovely to see you" he rolled the cart inside the room and closed the door by slamming you into it.
"Hisoka, w-what are you doing here?"
"I was lonely and bored. You left me all alone" He licked a trip up your neck all the way to your cheek.
"You leave alone all the time; what's the difference?" You were angry at that statement, 'how dare he?'
Hisoka's eyes widened for a split second, but not in shock, more in amusement.
"Oh," he chuckled, the tone dangerous, "my bad, little pet, I didn't realize this was such a sensitive topic" his tone was whimsical and mocking.
"Here, let's eat, and maybe you'll feel better" without giving you a chance, Hisoka grabbed your arms and flung you into the bed.
After your first release, you felt tired. You had been working nonstop for these two days. Your eyes closed, and his half-lidded ones are the last thing you remember.
"You actually passed out, doll. Was our sexy time too much to handle, or have I been mistreating you all these weeks I wasn't there, hmm~?"
You let out a breath at his playful look. He was rubbing circles on your exposed stomach while straddling you.
"Mmm, I think you're not relaxed enough; we might as well try again. After all, you let all my efforts slip out; I'll have to work hard to fill you up again~" he pouted playfully, looking over your tired form. "Don't worry, you can sleep while I'm at it, little fruit."
Chrollo

You were currently perched on your island counter chair like a vulture looking down at its prey. The entire week had been a mess of deadlines, due dates, and unhelpful people. To say you were stressed was an understatement. You were so stressed you no longer felt stressed.
That's how Chrollo found you when he entered your house. He could've used the front door, but he wanted to surprise you, and now he was worried about your confused face staring down the laptop screen.
You were so concentrated that when his hand laid on your shoulder, you jumped with a yelp.
"Argh, don't scare me like that," you chuckled, giving him a quick peck on the cheek but immediately turned to the computer screen once more.
Chrollo pouted slightly. He had been gone for an entirety of two weeks because of a small job; the least he expected was to be received with kisses, praise, and hugs like it was a kings parade.
He understood the stress, but he wasn't having it.
"Have you eaten anything?" He casually asked.
"Not really, but I can make you something if you want?" Chrollo gave a small smiled at the fact that you'd roll were willing to attend to him. You just needed to relax.
"Don't worry, love, I'll go shower" you nodded, and he turned, making his way down the hall and disappearing. You heard the water turn on muffled because of the closed door.
While you were concentrated on your work Chrollo slipped out of the bathroom, he grabbed you by the waist, spinning you and slamming you against the wall. His lips were possessive and angry as he kissed you. Sandwiched between his toned chest and the wall, you tried to push him back but eventually gave in to the way his fingers caressed your sides, his tongue forced yours into submission, and how he grinds his hips suggestively.
"Chrollo," you gasped when he finally let go of your swollen lips to suck on the skin of your neck. "I have to w-work."
At the mention of it, he bit down hard on your shoulder, making you Yelp.
"No more work" he licked the bite, leaving a trail of open-mouthed kisses. "I just returned, expecting my little darling to receive me with kisses and at least one hug. But instead," his free hand grabbed your hips tightly enough to bruise, "you've overworked to the bone" your hands held his head close to your chest, ruffling his hair in the process and making him look even hotter.
"I-I"
"It's alright, I know how you can make it better" kiss on your shoulder.
"for both of us" kiss on your jaw.
"I'm going to shower, and you're coming with me; after getting on your knees for me, you can let me fill you up nicely."
"But-t" a moan slipped your lips as his knee went between your legs.
"And if you keep protesting, I'll just keep stuffing you until you can't think straight. See if you can work after that"

As the name rattles off of Hisoka’s lips, you furrow your eyebrows. Is he someone you know? Is he someone you should know? A thousand thoughts run through you head in the span of a second and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that there is a reason behind why Hisoka would ask you whether or not you knew someone.
You also weren’t completely insufferable in your lack of underworld knowledge. You knew who the Zoldycks were. Had heard many of the wealthy families mention the name before. Wealthy families got to where they were not because they didn’t deal in shady things…they just happened to have enough money to pay someone else to do it for them…and keep it from ever tracing back to them.
You remember being at a gala not to terribly long ago. The patriarch on the family hosting the event had left midway through to speak to an older man with grey/white hair. You’d gone to the bathroom when he’d walked out of the office with the other man—who’d looked extremely pale and weathered as compared to when they’d left. You’d smiled and apologized, telling them you’d gotten turned around on your way back to the party, and the man with the grey/white hair, Zeno Zoldyck you’d come to learn, had simply smiled at you before nodding to the host. The other man had disappeared out of view and the two of you were left alone.
“My, my you have grown into a beautiful young woman since the last time I saw you y/n.” He’d said and you could only blink, registering quickly the sheer power rolling off this man. There was no malice behind it, nor intimidation effect, it was simply him.
“I’m sorry sir, and forgive me for being rude, but do we know each other? I don’t recall ever having met you before.” You said, smiling softly but anxiously, wracking your brain for anything to give you a clue as to not incur your mother’s wrath for forgetting a powerful man’s name and presence.
He chuckled, walking closer to you, placing a gentle hand on your shoulder. “No need to worry dear, we’ve never met before per se, but I do know who you are. I’m well aware of your parents’…pursuits. Your name has come up in conversation before and the last time I saw you or a photo of you, you were quite small. Maybe no older than 10 or 11. I was merely making an observation.”
You smiled again and nodded you head, understanding and yet feeling embarrassed and ashamed that you probably looked no better than a filly up for auction, because truthfully…you weren’t.
“Oh! Well it’s nice to meet you—”
“Zeno, Zeno Zoldyck. And it’s nice to finally meet you as well y/n y/l/n. And I’m sure this won’t be the last time we see each other.”
Thinking back on that situation now, back on the first time you ever met Zeno, you wondered how exactly it was your name had ever befallen the ears of the Zoldyck patriarch. Regardless, to be asked about a Zoldyck was odd, even coming from Hisoka.
“I know of the Zoldycks, I’ve met Zeno a couple of times. But I’m not well versed in the members of the family. Is there any particular reason why you ask Hisoka?” You ask, thinking it over more as you answered, wondering where the missing link was in your knowledge. But when you looked up, in that moment, when the words had only just left you mouth, the look in Hisoka’s eyes made you think that not knowing may have been a small grace than a hinderance. And in that moment, you were somewhat grateful the water was already growing cold, because the shock of chill that ran through the air wasn’t nearly as potent.
The small seep of bloodlust in the air made you take in a breath and try to sink into the furthest side of the tub away from him. The hairs on your body stood up and gooseflesh peppered across your skin. You bit back the whimper that wanted to escape and instead looked at the imposing man before you with wide eyes. The shift in demeanor, you realized, was not direct at you but something else entirely.
“Did you ever see the man you were initially going to be engaged to?” Hisoka asked and this made you pause because you had told Chrollo of your past but not the rest of the Troupe and you were certain that it was not information passed along to them as they’d been dismissed when the discussion had happened.
Was this slip up intentional, to make you put the pieces together or had Hisoka’s apparently bloodlust caused his tongue to run away from him? If you were a wagering girl, and you really weren’t, you would’ve bet on the former instead of the latter. Hisoka was calculating and manipulative. You knew his interest in you had made you into a new toy to play with and this seemed like a twist in his play with you. Keeping this in mind, you responded accordingly.
“Yes, once, late one night when I snuck into my father’s office. I wanted to see what he looked like. This elusive person who was supposedly going to be my husband. He was attractive, but I never was told his name because, for whatever reason, my parents ended up forgoing the engagement. I was never told why exactly, and it never dawned on me to ask honestly.” You chose your words carefully, watching him the entire time to gage the way he reacted.
That wasn’t entirely a lie, it wasn’t also entirely the truth. You knew why you parents had never gone through with the engagement; the family, while incredibly powerful and wealthy, was part of the seedy underground and that didn’t bode well with their agenda. A family like the Zoldycks fit perfectly within that description you realized. Although, it was an inclining you’d had after the second time you’d met the Zoldyck patriarch and his son, Silva, the current head of the family and business. They’d been nice, familiar even, and they’d been assessing you. At the time, you hadn’t exactly been sure as to why, but you’d wondered if they’d been the family who’d been very adamant about marrying you to their eldest son.
However, they thought had derailed when Zeno had made an offhanded comment about wondering if you’d be into younger men and you’d been utterly confused. Were they not them? Were you mistaken and they too were now interested after meeting you? You’d never truly gotten your answer though because the next time you saw them, it had been a strained meeting as you’d been their target. Why Zeno had come and told your parents that information instead of just doing his job, and risking his reputation in the process, had puzzled you even more.
“HISOKA! Enough!” The roar from Phinks had startled you as had the slamming of your bedroom door. Curling in on yourself, you’d just managed to cover yourself before Phinks and Shalnark had busted through.  “Keep your bloodlust in check, it’s giving me a headache. And what are you even doing in here you pervy bastard? Leave the poor girl alone. You’re needed downstairs anyway, something’s come up.”
Both blonde men gave you a quick once over, probably making sure that you weren’t harmed by the magician but nodding their heads towards the door. Shalnark gave you a smile and a wave before trailing behind Phinks. “Come on Hisoka, don’t want to keep the boss waiting.”
Hisoka turned, beginning to move towards the door again before stopping. “Don’t think too hard on it little dove. We wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself.”
And with that he’d walked out, slamming the bedroom door behind him, leaving you utterly confused and feeling chilled to the bone.
Was this Illumi Zoldyck guy your previous potential fiancé?
Was there another member of the Zoldyck’s who had almost taken that roll instead?
Or was Hisoka just trying to find out some sort of other information that you just weren’t able to see yet?
You didn’t know the answer to those questions right now…but you were certain you were going to get them, whether you wanted to know or not.
Tumblr media
That night, you’d gone to bed shortly after you’d forced yourself to climb out of the bathtub. The water had grown cold, and your skin was pruning uncomfortably. The peace in which you had hope to find, even a sliver of, had never come to you, so you hoped maybe sleep would just be a void.
And while you hadn’t been completely wrong, you also hadn’t been completely right.
At first, you’d fallen asleep easily, not even the noises of what was taking place downstairs had deterred you from finding solace in the black abyss. However, that had apparently been short lived as a few hours later, you’d slipped into a nightmare.
You were surrounded by people you didn’t know, and they were talking about you, looking down on you. It was then you realized that you were strapped to a table and that you had wires running from your body to machines. They didn’t appear to be normal medical equipment though, but you couldn’t say for certain that they were made out of nen either. Regardless, seeing the wiring connecting to your body and then to unknown machines left your blood running cold and your mind running a mile a minute as to how to get yourself out of this situation.
“She’s extraordinary. Just extraordinary! With powers like hers…you could rule the world…could rule worlds. There is an unlimited number of things you could do and accomplish with this kind of power. Who knows where it stops!” The excited voice from beside you startled you.
The small man in a lab coat and mask was standing closest too you, scribbling things on a clipboard as he looked at you in awe. You tried to ask what was going on, how you had gotten here, what he was talking about, but nothing came out. Not even a whimper and whisper of breath. You frantically looked around, trying to find a face, a friend, anyone you recognized and kept coming up empty. The faces were blurred, and your eyes began to strain. The sound of voices chattering and a machine clicking barely registered to you…
…but the pain certainly did.
Excruciating was putting it mildly and you quickly understood why you were bound, outside of not allowing you to flee your captors. The pain seared through even molecule in your body and those that it hadn’t even created yet. Your back arched off the table and your mouth dropped open in a silent scream. Your throat felt raw, like you’d done it before…possibly even several times before. The only thing that actually seemed to escape you were the tears from the corner of your eyes as the pain stopped and deftly you registered that the machines had stopped but the voices had picked up.
What they were saying, you couldn’t tell. But as the noise kicked up tenfold, the pain did as well, and this time when you screamed…a noise came with it.
Tumblr media
“Y/n wake up! It’s just a dream! You’re fine. Wake up!” You bolted up right, screaming yourself hoarse as the pain creeped its way from fantasy into reality. It jarred you to the bone and without thinking you struck out at the closest thing, sending it hurling away from you in an effort to end whatever was causing you pain.
What you hadn’t realized was that that “thing” in which you had sent flying had been Chrollo. Didn’t realize it was him till he was nearly striking the wall on the other side of the room, caught off guard by your sudden attack and the power behind it. It was also then that you realized there was an aura radiating around you and there was immense power coming from it.
You looked to Chrollo wondering if he had always been this strong and had somehow been masking it. But looking at him, seeing the wild, almost gleeful look in his eyes, made you realize that the power was not coming from him…but yourself.
“I need you to breathe for me y/n and focus on controlling the aura that’s around you. If you don’t get a control over it, it’ll continue to seep out of you, and you’ll pass out from the loss.” He spoke softly, walking up to you slowly like you would a terrified animal, afraid that in its fear, will lash out at you and go for your jugular.
However, his tactics were a bit sabotaged when Franklin and Feitan came flying into the room, nen activated and ready to take on anyone who posed a threat. The hostile energy pouring out of them had your fear peaking again, the faces from your dream flashing before your eyes and the power in which you’d thrown at Chrollo was surging again, zeroing in on the new threats and detonating without so much as a blink from you.
Both of their boys went flying as well, Chrollo, seemingly reading your nanosecond of a shift in body language, braced in anticipation, activating his own aura, and deflecting easily. As he seemed to watch two of his strongest members go soaring across the room as if it was no big deal, the look in his eyes seemed to increase tenfold and suddenly he was behind you, wrapping himself around you and smothering you face into his chest.
“Shhh, you’re okay. They aren’t going to hurt you. No one here is going to hurt you little one. I promise.” He stroked your hair and while you realize the sentiment that he was going for, the affection left you feeling even more displaced.
You could feel your body seemingly gearing up for another act and, despite still being unsure as to where these people lie on the spectrum between friend and foe, you did not want to hurt them anymore than you already had. With that in mind, you tried to even your breathing out; tried to think of a dam stopping the free flow of water, and all thing similar to keep yourself from exploding with aura again. And that, coupled with Chrollo’s continued words of assurance, seemed to do the trick, and stop up the free flow of energy.
As the bubble around you seemed to smooth and flow but not run, you realized you’d started to sob at some point, the tears streaming down your face and a near continual stream of whimpers and apologies pouring from your mouth. Apologies to Chrollo for the initial attack, apologies to Franklin and Feitan who’d only come to make sure everything was okay. You didn’t know what was going on or how things had escalated so quickly but you were sorry and you hadn’t meant to hurt them.
You weren’t entirely certain the message hadn’t gotten out clearly, if the pissed off look on Feitan’s face was anything to go by, but you weren’t entirely certain that hadn’t been there prior as the man seemed to wear a scowl frequently.
“What…happened…?” Feitain asked and you could feel Chrollo shift, looking at them while maintaining the comforting stroking on your hair.
“I’m not sure. I came up here to check on her when I felt a spike in aura and heard her crying out. I couldn’t sense another presence outside of her own, but we’ve met nen users capable of cloaking themselves before. However, when I came in, she was thrashing about, when I woke up her…the same thing that happened to you happened to me.”
“Clearly not as hard though. You seem fine. I feel like I’m going to be sore for days after that power she just threw at us.” Franklin muttered rubbing at his arm and stomach.
“Such…a…. baby…” Feitan muttered, earning a side-eyed glare from Franklin.
“I wouldn’t say it was any less powerful, it was more like she registered who was in the room with her right as she threw the power out. I’m almost certain she did the same with you, and my presence so close by also muted her attack, afraid she’d hurt me in an effort to harm you two.”
Franklin and Feitan looked from Chrollo to you and then back to Chrollo before looking at each other in disbelief. “You’re saying that wasn’t her full power?” Franklin asked, the shock and awe clearly evident in his voice.
“That’s exactly what I’m saying. I can’t even begin to feel the depths of her power, let alone where it ends.”
The words seemed to hang in the air, all three men seemingly having a silent conversation that you were not perve to, nor did you think you ever would be. You had known from the start, regardless of what degree of comradery you obtained with these people you would always be an outsider, never allowed to fully know the scope of everything. You’d never be told all of the details, never know the full extent of all of their abilities, never know the ins and outs of it all. And you did not mind that, not at the moment at least, because for what you did not know, you had come to understand that these were dangerous people, people that were probably on several hit lists and wanted by many…and you did not know if you ever wanted to truly be associated with them.
While sitting in the tub, you’d come to the conclusion that you would use them to obtain the skills necessary to save your younger siblings…and that would be the extent of it. You were not a killer, did not fancy yourself someone who killed for sport or out of the desire to prove you were stronger or better than others. No, you did not believe your wants in life to align at all with those of the people in this group nor did you think they ever would. So you’d do what was necessary to be able to get your siblings back, to be able to protect them and keep them safe till they were capable of doing as such on their own. But once you’d achieved that goal…you were as good as gone.
