So I’ve been seeing a lot of nose appreciation posts on my dash (including my last post sort of), and it made me think of something. Even though that guy I was seeing turned out to be a spineless prick. I still had a lot of good moments with him. And one time he was lying on his bed with his head hanging over the edge so it was upside down. And I was on the floor and I went to kiss his nose. But didn’t think abt how because he was upside-down, that would put *my* nose right by *his* lips, too. So as I lean in, he has the same instinct, and we both just kissed each other’s noses at the same time 😆 it was honestly really adorable. Like we were both so surprised because we both had been going for the kiss and weren’t expecting to also receive one. And it was nice with him because he knew my thing with snz and noses and so he got why it made me all giggly after.

Long Overdue Life Update

Whew, the title sounds kinda ominous, doesn't it?

Lemme say right off the bat that this isn't some Big PSA post or anything to that effect. I'm only checking in because I've been quiet for a while and figured an update is the least I can do. 🙂

Nothing major or life-changing is happening on my end; I've just been shitty at finding the time for sim-blogging these past months due to work and other day-to-day rl stuff, though I have been simming a bit in the background. Mostly going on download sprees and sorting cc, but I'm also about two-thirds through my next BaCC rotation and have a few new hair and handswap wips that are share-ready save for previews.

Oh and also: I got a new puppy! She's a 3-and-a-half-months-old Jack Russel mix and the main culprit for the abovementioned lack-of-time for simming. The cute lil' attention hog wants ALL the cuddles! "PC time? What PC time? Pet me instead, hooman!"

Other things of note in my life, in no particular order:

We've had relatives from Croatia visiting last week with their kids. The kids are super smart and super cute but with the energy levels of a medium-sized nuclear reactor. It's been fun.

I finally went to see a Rammstein concert!!! 🤯 The experience of a lifetime, holy shit. I literally have no words to describe how mesmerizing that stage was. Like, I shit you not, I have 3 GBs worth of concert footage.

Speaking of metal: Gojira KILLED IT at the Olympics Opening! Also: Turkish Shooter Guy and Norwegian Muffin Man are living rent-free in my head. I'm the worst, I only follow professional sports for the memes.😆

I've been moved to a new division at work and am currently sitting in a small office with the two biggest goobers in the entire institution. Between that and me finally having accumulated enough knowledge + experience to have a clue what I'm doing, work's been pretty stress-free for once.

Conversely, my colleagues from the old division are struggling due to lack of staff, too much work, mismanagement, internal strife, and pressure from both within and outside the institution. I feel so bad for them, but at the same time, a selfish part of me is grateful that I'm not there to suffer the shitshow on my own hide.

I have unanswered asks from (probably) months ago and am Very Ashamed of the fact. I'll get back to you guys, I promise! 😰

(Y/n) took a bite of her bread as she sat in the mess hall, everyone eating away at their lunch. She had a book opened up in front of her, reading the words as she kept taking bites of her bread.

She didn't even notice someone taking a seat across from her until they spoke.

“Interesting book, cadet?” (Y/n) looked up and saw her captain. Captain Levi. She nodded with a huge smile growing on her face.

“Yes, sir!” She set her bread down.

Levi's eyes watched her intensely as she drank some water. Her eyes met with his as she drank her water, catching him off guard. He glanced away and stared at the wall behind her, with a fast heartbeat.

“How come your reading by yourself instead of sitting with Sasha and them?”

“Easy question, Captain! And it has an easy answer! I need to finish this book!” She picked up her book with both of her hands now since she was finished with her meal. (Y/n)’s attention was turned back to reading.

He didn't know why, but Levi almost felt offended.

She just turned her attention back to reading that book like he wasn't sitting across from her.

‘Can’t this brat see the effort I'm putting in to be nice?’ He thought with an irritated look on his face as he stared at her.

She raised her thumb to her mouth, her tongue sticking out a little bit. Her eyes moved from left to right at a quick speed, indicating she was a fast reader. (Y/n) licked her thumb and then turned the page.

As much as Levi was frustrated she was reading instead of trying to have a conversation with him, she actually looked peaceful. His eyebrows stopped furrowing, and he stared at her a little longer.

She was pretty. Half the guys at Survey Corps were after her, because she was a social butterfly who was good at speaking with others, she was confident, and because she's charming.

He always saw red once he overheard the soldiers speaking about her. It wasn't even the same people either, the men who spoke about her were always different people. Adding to his.. ‘jealousy’ he guessed you could call it.

Her hair fell from behind her ears in a slow manner. With her eyes looking down, the view of her lashes was mesmerizing. Every time she batted them, it seemed like to Levi they stood out even more.

He ‘tched’ with a small blush to his features, which made (Y/n) look up.

“Something wrong, Captain?”

“Nothing's wrong. I’m just wondering why you're choosing a book over sitting with your friends. You're usually social and you're sitting over here alone where no one ever sits.” His cold tone didn't faze her as she smiled and shrugged, putting a small leaf in her book, as she shut it suddenly.

.. What the? As a bookmark?

“Sounds like you're concerned about me.” (Y/n) wore a sly smile on her face as she gasped loudly.

“Is Levi Ackerman worrying about me?” He narrowed his eyes at her as he tried to focus on getting rid of the hot feeling traveling up his neck.

“Don't push it.” She laughed and shook her head.

“Yeah, don't get me wrong I do love those crazy humans but I have my heart set on finishing this book. They won't mind. And every once in a while I do like getting away from sociable interactions,” (Y/n) pushed her hair behind her ears, barely noticing it fell from the spot she put it in.

“.. I find that hard to believe, cadet.”

“Well hey Captain, I get tired of people every now and then too y’know. Like you do. Well… the only tiny little difference is you're tired of people everyday and for me it's just every other day.” She put a finger on her chin and tapped it in thought.

“We’re not so different, y’know! Aside from the fact that you have superhuman strength and I can barely lift a thick paged book.” His unchanged expression made her slightly sweat drop. But he was just thinking.. How could she be so lively? She's so outgoing with everything she does. Even with reading a book. It surprised him how popular she was sometimes.

“What's so interesting about your book? You seem unhealthily obsessed with it.” Her eyes lit up and it looked as if there were shiny little diamonds in them for a second. His breath got caught in his throat as she literally crawled across the table and plopped next to him with the book in her hand and an excited look in her eye.

He tried to avoid the eyes that were suddenly on him and (Y/n) as the large room suddenly went quiet.

“I. Am. So. Glad. You asked!” She started with holding it up overly (and weirdly- may Levi add) energetic.

“First of all, this is a romance story! It all starts with two characters named Mitsu and Noroi! The setting of the book is-” Levi could barely focus on her words, focusing on how hard his heart was thumping. She was too close. She was sitting too close to him.

(Y/n) kept using her hands to explain actions with a smile on her face that didn't waver once. Why did it seem like the candle sitting on the table was lighting up her whole face? Or did she just generally look like that?

He couldn't look away for the life of him as she just continued talking his ear off. It reminded him of Hange when they talk about the Titans they catch and experiment on.

“For a princess, Mitsu is actually the sweetest most selfless person ever! She's heartwarming! She doesn't judge books by their covers ever, which is a good thing or she and Noroi would’ve never fallen in love.” (Y/n)’s cheeks took over with a small blush as she stopped talking suddenly.

“I'm just talking your ear off aren't I Captain? Sorry! I don't usually mean to but it's habit sometimes.”

Levi blinked slowly. “It's fine-”

“But like I said, Noroi is from another kingdom, a colder, darker one in the forbidden land of Shadows and it's- you guessed it- basically forbidden love! My heart just aches for both of them!” She dramatically clutched her shirt and slammed her face down on the wooden table.

Levi didn't know how to react to that or what to do. She just cut him off and she didn't even realize. Was he supposed to comfort her about the characters now or something..? They're just fictional. It's not like they're real. So why does she care so much?

..Why is she so passionate?

Plus, it looked like that hurt. But in another 3 seconds she lifted her head without a bruise and she continued talking like she didn't just do that. His eyebrow rose ever so slightly, you could hardly tell it was raised at all unless you looked closely.

‘She’s strange.’

Levi suddenly mindlessly asked, “What's the reason why you're so engrossed with this garbage? It doesn't sound all that interesting to me.” He felt like he immediately said the wrong words as her jaw dropped open and her eyes widened. She stopped making hand actions and she stared at him with this bizarre look.

Then he felt her hand clutch onto his brown short jacket.

“Captain! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! THE DISRESPECT!!” She shook him back and forth crazily as he just stared at her, somewhat perplexed you could say..

“You aren't speaking consciously! I don't blame you, sir! Not to worry!” She frustratingly looked up at him. She still didn't let go of his jacket. Oh shit. Her face was really close to his. Like if she moved another inch her lips would be on his. Levi’s face went scarlet.

“OH NO, SIR!” (Y/n) gasped making more and more soldiers look over at their table to see what all the yelling was about.

“HAVE I GIVEN YOU A FEVER??” She loudly whispered to him. Levi snapped out of it, trying to get his face to cool down to his natural pale skin tone. He grabbed one of her wrist, that was holding onto his jacket still.

“Brat, control yourself.” He muttered to her and took her hand off of him.

Her eyes widened a little and then she looked around. Seeing soldiers eyes on her and Levi as he grumbled some things under his breath, having an annoyed look on his face.

“H-Hey everybody! Nothing to see here, hehe.” She nervously waved at all the tables who still haven't stopped staring at them. They all just shrugged dismissing all the yelling she did, and went back to their casual conversations, waving back before turning their attention from the both of them.

“Sorry Captain! I guess I just lost it there- I went a little crazy..” (Y/n) nervously laughed as her index finger was next to her head, moving in a circular motion indicating she's a ‘little’ crazy.

‘She's like a puppy or something.’ Levi deadpanned.

“But this is not garbage- or.. at least not to me anyways, I guess we all have different opinions!” She tapped her chin in thought again.

‘As much as she tires me out, I can't help but like talking to her.’

“Maybe you should read this book for yourself, Captain. It's called ‘Unfortunate Romance’. It's really interesting y’know! Noroi means ‘a curse’ and in his kingdom everyone is seen as evil. He stands out though because even his own people see him greater than the darkness itself. His own people fear him, and once he runs away from his kingdom and walks for days to Mitsu’s Kingdom she too also has problems that she doesn't want to face.” (Y/n) stared at the leather book cover as she spoke this time with a light pink tint on her cheeks.

“She's not ready to become Queen. Her mother is sick with an incurable disease and is to meet her end sooner than later. Her father has passed away from the same sickness her mother has earlier in the book though. Mitsu escaped her castle, and planned on heading East. When she does escape though, she runs into a handsome man in the streets. You can already guess who it is.” She giggled softly and Levi admired the state she was in. It's like she was speaking mindlessly.

(Y/n) looked so calm.

And comfortable.

Levi made her comfortable? That surprised him. Since when did he make anyone comfortable?

Truth is, she looked majestic. (Y/n) never failed to make his heart leap.

“When they meet, Noroi is surprised by her kind eyes. No one has ever looked at him that way before. Later on they get to know each other better. They both explained how they ran away from home and Mitsu surprised Noroi once again when she didn't look at him in fear when he told her where he was from. She only comforted him and held his hand. They fall more in love throughout the story, and this one time Noroi even picks flowers from a field, Mitsu’s favorite flowers. When he gives them to her she breaks down in tears and they confess their love for each other.” Her eyes filled with shiny tears and Levi didn't know what to do.

‘Why does she have tears? What made her cry? The book? I'll burn it if that's what she'd want. Nothing makes (Y/n) cry and gets away with it.’ He looked down at his carousel hands. Then he looked back at her as she continued to talk.

Tears in her eyes, pink cheeks, and the candlelight reflecting off of her face.

She really is stunning..

“But like I said, it's forbidden love. So when their kingdoms find out, they go to war. That's the part I'm at right now though.” Some tears slipped from her eyes and she felt something wipe them away. As she turned her head to the side, Levi had his hand raised to her cheek. His thumb brushing away the small tears.

“It's a good story..” (Y/n) smiled small, and her cheeks turned a slightly brighter pink from Levi wiping her tears away.

“Sounds like you're really invested in it. Just don't kill yourself over this story, alright?” He let a small smile settle on his lips.

She blushed a crimson. Her cheeks heated up the longer Levi stared at her.Then she turned away shyly and stared at the book cover again.“I just find their love beautiful.. but terribly sad. If I loved someone with all my heart and we couldn't be together..” (Y/n) stopped talking. Her situation kinda was like that though.

What was she saying? What was she thinking even falling for Levi in the first place? She just tortured herself with her crush on him. It's not like he would ever love her back. She shook her head and gave him a smile.

“I'm going to go train. Thanks for listening, Levi.” Levi froze as she set a hand on his shoulder before she got up and left. That was the first time she's ever said his name before.

‘Yessssss!’ His inner Levi high fived another Levi.

He felt… accomplished.

Levi left the Survey Corps castle. He walked down this dirt path, lost in his thoughts. Earlier at lunch was stuck in his thoughts.

He couldn't ignore the feeling of wanting her to be his any longer. Levi had to confess. He was determined. He stared down the path as he walked slowly.

‘She likes romance.. so think romantic Levi! It's not that difficult. You're making it difficult. Don't think about it too hard, dumbass.’ Levi felt wind push his bangs to the side.

He turned his head and watched as the tall grass danced with the chill breeze. Then he saw flowers. All different types of flowers in the grass. Wild ones mainly.

A memory flashed in his brain.

(Y/n) stretched and yawned as she plopped down onto her bed. She had finished training, ate some dinner, and walked back to her room to take a shower. She felt better after training, though.

Earlier with Levi..

Damnit. Why did he have to be so freaking cute!? The way he stared at her when he wiped her tears away. (Y/n) only groaned and covered her face with a pillow as her cheeks turned red again. She sat up, in her pajamas, clutching the pillow to her chest burying half of her face in it. Her bright colored cheeks were still noticeable as she looked down, batting her eyelashes.

‘That book also describes my love life too. Don't worry Noroi and Mitsu, I feel your guys' pain.’

Levi didn't even try to be so handsome and he just was. (Y/n) admired his bravery and even though he doesn't show it all the time, his respect for his comrades. He was so perfect…

‘WHY GOD WHY?!!! YOU JUST HAD TO MAKE ME LOVE SOMEONE THATS WAY OUT OF MY LEAGUE?!’ She cried anime tears and dramatically fell to her knees. Then she stopped crying and slapped herself.

‘Get it together (Y/n)! You're a soldier for god's sake! An elite! Act like one!’ She nodded determinedly and got up from the ground to brush her hair before she went to sleep. She yawned quietly again as she brushed her h/c locks.

Suddenly she heard two knocks on the door. (Y/n) turned her head, and put the hair brush down. She picked up her pillow and clutched it to chest once again. Then she walked over to her room door and opened it.

“Captain?” She tilted her head.

Levi was standing there holding a bunch of flowers in his hand. He looked a little tired, but.. committed?

“Did I wake you?” He asked monotonically.

“No sir! I actually was just about to head to bed!” She lifted an eyebrow and took a step towards him, making him feel nervous and making him lose his confidence.

“What's with the look, Captain? Are you okay?” Levi shook his head and felt his heart pounding. His cheeks flared up on the spot.

“Uhm.. I.. I just..” Shit Levi, not right now!

(Y/n) tilted her head to the side once again and clutched her pillow tighter to chest.

‘Oh fuck (Y/n) don't do that it's already hard enough trying to confess my love for you, you idiot! Don't make it harder with your cute as hell self- why is this so fucking hard!?’ He exhaled shakily and then pushed the flowers in front of her face.

“T-These..” He shook his head, shocked with his stutter for a millisecond.

“For you!” (Y/n) felt wings flutter in her stomach. Butterflies.. Levi was giving her butterflies.

“Really?” Her eyes widened, the flowers blocked her view of Levi’s face since he shoved them quite literally into her face.

She was slightly glad though because her cheeks were the color of a tomato.

“Yes!” He gulped quietly, and she grabbed all of the flowers with one of her hands and smelled them.

“These smell so fresh!” She smiled and smelled them again.She looked at Levi and couldn't help but let her face burn up by now. He looked so shy. Levi Ackerman, shy!?

“Where did you get all these?”

“Outside of headquarters there's a dirt path I was walking on. There's a whole meadow next to the path, full of flowers I just..” Levi looked away, and at the stone wall. He cleared his throat awkwardly.

“I don't know which ones are your favorite, so I grabbed each of the flowers that were there.” (Y/n) felt herself shyly smile at him, her energetic personality fading away the longer he stood there in front of her.

“Levi..” She softly said and he looked back at her. He exhaled again, before looking at her determined.

“You said earlier that Noroi confessed his love to Mitsu when he brought her her favorite flowers. Am I wrong?” (Y/n) shook her head no, she was shocked Levi even remembered the names from her book. But it made her heart warm and happy nonetheless.

“I'm afraid in this situation it won't be as romantic as that scene, since I just brought you random flowers because I don't know which ones are your favorite. But..” He glanced down before walking forward, making (Y/n) step backwards.

As soon as he was in her room, he kicked the door shut behind him, and he took another step towards her until there was only an inch of space between them.

“I like you. There I said it.” Blood rushed to his cheeks immediately and he closed his eyes, letting out a sigh. (Y/n) froze. She couldn't muster a word, as her lips parted and her eyes widened, her pulse racing.

“You're funny, and beautiful as hell. I like how easily you can talk to people. Even people like me. You.. talk to me so comfortably and your smiles are everything.” He raised a hand to his hair and gripped at his bangs firmly.

“I know it's not a really romantic confession but there. That's how I feel about you.” Looking back at her, and realizing she still hasn't said anything made him anxious as fuck.

‘Say something.. anything.’ He stared at her.

(Y/n) suddenly turned around and walked to her bed. She set down the flowers on her bed along with the pillow. When she looked back at Levi, she wore the brightest smile on her face.

Making his stomach do backflips.

“So you really like me don't ya?” She teased with a shy look on her face.

He nodded with a small smile.

“I do. The question is.. do you?” Levi held out his hand.

(Y/n) looked at his hand and him.

Her smile didn't leave her face as she walked to him and placed her hand in his. He interlocked them together with that small smile of his. Relief and calmness made his body relax and not tense anymore.

“.. You must really like me too huh, (Y/n)?” She stared into his eyes as she smiled a little wider. She liked how her name sounded when he said it.

“No..” She said and tilted her head, her eyes flickering back and forth to stare into both of his eyes.

“I love you.” Levi leaned in and kissed her lips.

He set his hands on her hips as he pulled her closer to him. Their lips molded together almost perfectly, and the way Levi touched her gently made her heart melt.

(Y/n) pulled his head closer to hers, and kissed him passionately and softly again. When they both didn't have enough air to keep on kissing is when they both pulled away.

“I love you too, (Y/n).” Levi kissed her forehead.

Two knocks were heard from outside of Levi’s office.

“State your name and business.” He called out a little annoyed since he was almost finished with his paperwork.

“Levi..” A quiet voice called out.

“Come in.” Levi furrowed his brows. He recognized (Y/n)’s voice from a mile away.

She walked in, sniffling with her head facing the floor.

“(Y/n), what's wrong?” He couldn't react to everything as she suddenly bolted to his desk. She went around it, and let her head fall into his shoulder.

“(Y/n). What's the matter?” There was firmness in Levi’s voice as he spoke but it was because he was starting to grow worried.

She said something but it was muffled because her face was on Levi’s shoulder.

“Speak up. You're starting to worry me.”

“Leviiiii!” She cried. “They both died!”

He paused for a second and then his brows molded into confusion.

“Who died?” She lifted her head with anime tears and clutched onto his jacket.

“NOROI AND MITSU! THEY BOTH DIED-” She whined and more anime tears flooded down her face. She dramatically fell to her knees and looked up at the ceiling.

“THEIR LOVE WAS SO PRECIOUS, AND THEIR STORY WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED!” (Y/n) did the Survey Corps salute and shook her head.

“.. So, you're just crying because two fictional characters died?” Levi deadpanned.

‘I thought she was going to die.’ Levi sighed in relief and irritation. She whipped her around to look back at him so fast he thought it was gonna snap off of her neck.

“THEY GOT KILLED IN THE WAR LEVI! IT WAS HORRIBLE!” She went back to mourning.

Levi pinched his nose bridge before getting up from his desk and walking over to her.

He leaned down and patted her head softly.

She looked up at him with tears in her eyes.

‘Damnit. She looks like an angel even when she cries.’ Levi’s cheeks turned pink as he scoffed a little.

“Tch. You shouldn't be so upset over their dead love story, (Y/n).”

"Aw~!" RWBY cooed along with the girls of JNPR. Ren simply smiled at the two.

"My ex-boyfriend knocked me up before we broke up." Terra explained. "By the time I found out, I was already dating Saph, and he'd already left the kingdom."

Ruby and Pyrrha admired the view of Jaune acting so fatherly to the boy that may not have been related by blood, but was related none the less, and felt their knees grown weak at the thought of him being a real father. Weiss felt something similar to the effect of admiration, but it was more nostalgic as she remembered her grandfather treating herself and her brother in a similar fashion. Yang also felt a bit of nostalgia, remembering how she'd raised Ruby as she did, and when looking at her now, couldn't help but feel proud of herself for the good job she did. Nora continued to scooch closer to Ren, who continued to scoot away.

Blake, however, noticed how Terra and Saphron looked to Jaune. With her double-hearing, she could hear heartbeats pretty well, and noted that their hearts quickened just a bit when talking about Jaune not being Adrian's father. It was a simple, but effective trick she'd learned in the White Fang, and it certainly worked. They were lying, but about what specifically, she wasn't sure. Looking to Jaune laughing and smiling at Adrian, who laughed and smiled back, she relented. Jaune would still care for Adrian, no matter what. And that was all that really mattered in the issue.

hello hello 👋 i knew i wanted to do a longer post about paul's hair but i wasn't sure what to do... at first, i wanted to make compilations of just his different kinds of hair; like how it's sometimes super curly and sometimes flat, how it looks when wet and from behind & the side and so on. but then i decided to instead do one collage per round in the f3 championship (+ abu dhabi and one extra)(and some gifs... scroll all the way down, you won't be disappointed) !!!

the main conclusion that i came to when making this was that he's got soo MUCH hair? it's so thick?? poor boy must be sweating so much during the summer :( disclaimer: this all comes from someone who 1. has 0 experience with curls (my hair is as flat as a wall), and 2. has no knowledge of how boy hair works. or anyone else's hair for that matter, i only know my own hair. anyways...

bahrain was a very cute round. paul's first f3 points in the first race was very comforting, and the curls he showed off were just as heartwarming 🤭 very messy hair this round, the curls were everywhere. but they also looked super pretty, like in the last pic (where i purposefully cut out his abs because. this is a hair post, not a thirst post… i would've gotten too distracted if i hadn't).

a lot to uncover here. first row = macau (except for top right which was abu dhabi, but wearing his macau shirt…). very messy curls but not too long? very cute. and i would guess that it's karl's hairband-thing because that's like the only time i've seen paul wear it but i see karl wearing it all the time. either way, it must feel nice for him to finally have all that hair out of his face, finally he can see properly 😭

second row = vacation hair!! the horse riding hair, very cute and so long in the front, curls in his eyes definitely. the wet hair is so so flat, can imagine it just feels good to cool it down in the hot summer too. and the mirror selfie, very short post-spa but very very curly!!

third row = gala/ceremony hair + his vacation with ralf. a lot calmer, especially the 2nd pic (!!! so flat, but the little curls in the tips…. adorable). idk it just looks pretty styled like that.

For leshy, I feel like since he's the youngest...when he came along, everyone was like "yep. We don't even need to get this one tested" after seeing him in his natural element. Which sounds cruel but that's just personal experience after people in my family started getting diagnosed and we started noticing things about each other better LMAO. I kinda actually designed my iteration of him to be like a big stim toy, I did that shitpost sketch in the last post but even the first time I drew him I was like "this dude is made out of orbs that make satisfying noises when they click together", so if I had to categorize the way his neurodivergency manifests, it's definitely "I NEED TO MOVE AROUND!! RIGHT FUCKING NOW!! MAYBE SCREAM A LITTLE IDK IT JUST FEELS RIGHT!!"

Heket is for sure the one that fights the most against people labelling her with it, just because she's like I'M SO NORMAL GUYS. LOOK HOW NORMAL I AM. LOOK HOW WELL I CAN ADAPT TO CHANGE AND LOOK AT ME NOT FREAK OUT AT ALL WHEN I'M OUT OF MY ELEMENT!! She's the new leader of the family so she does her best to hold it together but if you make plans with her, she's gonna be in Waiting Mode as soon as the plans are made and might tear you limb from limb if you flake or reschedule. Something my therapist told me recently is that me getting absurdly upset over injustices (small or big) is likely directly related to being autistic, so if heket feels like something is wrong she will absolutely be vocal about it. If someone says something mean to her, they are her fucking arch nemesis from that point on. The block button is NOT enough she wants them DEAD

For narinder, I feel like he maybe bonded a lot with shamura over the fact both of them feel pretty disconnected from everyone else? The way his autism manifests is probably the feeling that he's on a completely different wavelength than everyone else, and can't experience empathy the same way his siblings can. He'll like have conversations with people but it feels like someone just talking at him, and him having to mentally choose the dialogue options that make the conversation end the quickest. He probably feels like a completely separate species from everyone else on more levels than just "I am a cat and you are not". I know this doesn't line up with my narinder art so far but I have a distinct characterization of him pre-schism that's completely different from post-schism. I feel like he also resented the other siblings for having the same condition as him but presenting so differently, he felt like he got the short end of the stick.

Kallamar........is a FREAk ABOUT TEXTURES. Bro will actually throw up if he has to eat or touch something gross. He would probably excuse himself to go hurl if he sees leshy combining everything on his plate and shovelling it into his face. I'M actually about to hurl just thinking about it. I have to have lotion on at all times or I freak out when I touch things with my hands, and I feel like kallamar needs to have that famous Cephalopod Mucus Layer in order to exist in his body without wanting to implode. Maybe even a special oil he formulates himself? I also feel like he probably has the most freakouts and has been left crying inconsolably + hyperventilating on the floor over something seemingly stupid MANY times, but shamura is understanding enough to be patient with him and not try to grab him or repeat phrases at him over and over.

LASTLY, SHAMURA DOESN'T THINK THEY HAVE AUTISM. They're like "I love my Neurodivergent Family :) can't relate tho" but all the siblings have unanimously agreed they have something going on up there, even before the TBI. I think they're very book smart, and have little file cabinets of their brain of stuff like "arthropod husbandry" and "dreamcatcher making techniques" but are totally clueless to how other people operate. They don't really know *why* people do the things they do; in my prequel AU thing, they gain most of their social knowledge through people watching rather than like...being normal and just knowing how to behave. Out of all the siblings, they've probably been told the classic phrase "but you don't look autistic!" the most LMAO

Also shamura 100000% has misophonia and that's the reason I didn't have them sitting at the table with the other siblings in the voidpunk comic I did of them. They love their family to death but they have to make the conscious decision to not shake baby leshy every time he loudly chokes down his dinner, so they just sit out meals and eat on their own time. If shamura was real I would build them a shrine and sacrifice my noise cancelling headphones cause idk if they have sound reduction methods in cotl world <3

I know autism kinda encompasses ALL of these traits and isn't something that can be categorized into "this one hates noises, this one needs to follow a schedule..." but I also don't want to just point at one bishop and go "YOU. YOU WILL BE MY VESSEL" because I'd never get to write all that I have in mind if only one character had it. There's definitely overlaps in symptoms between them but I just wrote down what I felt would be the most notable to that specific character. Oh my god I wanna hear about Sean going to the dentist. All of them going to the dentist and doctor regularly please. Wanna see Arthur Morgan going to the doctor like "Jesus fuck you have the lungs of a man who's been chainsmoking since birth. Sean had to go to the dentist for complications involving a) smoking and b) y'know literally having teeth pulled and not healing correctly and assumed he would be fine with it because unstoppable Sean Macguire. Calmly talking about yeah got a tooth ache and sometimes this hole in my gum starts oozing randomly. Laying back in the chair making jokes about give me some of that good shit doc right up until they tried to put something in his mouth. Proceeded to jump up, punch the dentist at full strength hard in the jaw, throw the nurse over and sprint back to the reception room where several of the gang were waiting with tears in his eyes before going 'lol classic Sean' at himself. Hyperventilated for 20 minutes in the car 'hahahaaa what's wrong with me am I dying'. They found him a dentist who they very much warned about what happened to the last dentist and he absolutely has to be knocked out before they do anything even vaguely near his mouth. They've tried when he was almost out of it and he still started trying to fist fight and threw himself onto the floor before it fully kicked in.

Most of the gang go to the same doctor who is both scared of them and for them. Sees Bessie Matthews has made an appointment and just feels fear what strange old-fashioned creature has she found today! Unmedicated hyperactivity who will not stop making jokes but explode into violence if touched in the wrong place, with what look like cane scars over most of his back and ass? Semi-verbal adult who must come with another adult because he will stare at the fish tank so intently he will miss hearing his name called despite being fully aware and very compliant with picking up and taking his medication on time? Another mysterious oddly polite 40 year old with very obvious gunshot scars over far too much of their body? Adult women who have not heard of condoms and need a triple appointment to even understand the concept of birth control? Every. Single. One. Needing. Every. Single. Vaccine. Desperately wanting to know what cult they escaped to have missed so many. Getting a frantic phone call from the CDC that antibodies for smallpox were found in a blood sample he sent away for testing.

Arthur is so paranoid about his health. He went through feeling his body degrade and fail him and feeling like he was drowning in his own lungs when so much of his identity before then was being the workhorse and the enforcer and strong man. Getting a second chance in a body magically restored to the exact moment before he was infected with TB was as glorious as it was horrifying. Never wanting to feel sick again. Coughing because he swallowed wrong and immediately booking an appointment with his GP because he is terrified of getting sick. Modern medicine is his religion. Will never not use nicotine patches but is making a conscious effort to quit smoking because cigarettes bad for lungs. No longer having the gunshot wound on his shoulder from Colm but getting phantom pains. Plenty of other older injuries he had accumulated over his life he experiences pain from as he keeps aging. Sees a physio twice a week for trying to take care of himself physically.

Dutch is not anti-vax but he is very anti-big pharma despite relying on a colorful candy-like assortment of drugs to maintain balance. Acts like a victim despite never having to actually pay for his own meds and care because the VDLs cover it to make sure he is in a stable, positive environment. Goes on the biggest lectures about pharmaceuticals being a scam and the corrupt power of branding and lack of peer-reviewed studies into the effect of specific medications over time only to be called over by his doctor to discuss a new alternative to one of his current meds and excitedly skipping over 'oh goodie!!'.

Dutch is in the psych ward watching House MD and it becomes part of his identity.

Yes. Micah is a creep and doesn't believe women can be doctors. He is the token anti-vax. Nurse showing him to the exam room and he's like 'slow down lemme see that little canter' biting his lip fuckboy emoji. But he also goes to a dodgiest clinic in his sleezy local area so the fact he isn't actively groping the nurses makes him one of the less offensive people they have to deal with. Okay so basically to preface: in my wip fic (wip is a gross exaggeration), everything remains canonically accurate to TFP except for the fact I use my Magic Fanfic Writer Powers to incorporate ridiculous Cybertronian mysticism canon into it for the sole purpose of furthering my self indulgent plot armor via cyberforming (cyberforming being when organic material becomes that of Cybertronian-make through means of mysticism and/or science)

Marian (unabashed tradgoth self insert) starts off as human. She gets picked up by the Cons while smashed drunk one night bc they think she has info on the Bots (found her bc she was lurking on online forums asking too many questions about big robot aliens bc she once saw them brawling and wanted answers), then she just ends up being kept alive and kept around as a pet/team mascot/ emotional support human, because hey if the Bots have one then maybe humans can be of some use

After a while Marian ends up forming a bond with Starscream (and KO to a lesser extent) after they both end up treating each other with compassion and respect (wow! trauma-bonding!). She kinda definitely falls desperately in love with him (and thinks it's unrequited but jk!). Angst & hurt/comfort abound! Gratuitous usage of mass-displacement device for nsfw purposes! You didn't hear that from me...

She is accidentally killed during the Battle on Cybertron (ca. season 3) by being hit with a stray plasma blast.

With the Well of AllSparks alive once again, in an act of desperation SS leaves her body at the edge of the well and actually prays for once in his miserable life. Through a mystical act of pity or mercy or whatever, a fresh spark combines with her own approximation of a soul and cyberforms her corpse and resurrects/ reincarnates her. She's herself, with all her old memories— but also something new, with all-new potential. No one knows wtf is going on lol

She becomes the first mech created on "New" Cybertron. "Cyberform-forged" is the term used for her, making her something of a new race (in the same way the Terrans are a new race), and is more of a mystic anomaly than anything (largely because there is no opportunity to recreate the event).

She's formed with a Vosnian Seeker frame and Cybertronian alt mode. Her frame is weather resistant: built to tolerate and fly through high winds and dangerous weather (Cybertronian and Terran) and relies more on brute force than grace in aviation. This means she is bulky rather than slim and aerodynamic like SS. She's a revival of the (near?) extinct class (if we're going by Prime!canon then Starscream is the only confirmed Vosnian Seeker left). Why Primus decided that cranking out new Vosnians would be a good idea is beyond everyone; everyone is too busy wondering how tf cyberforming works and what the consequences of it are to really question it.

Physically, she's not overtly femme— more androgynous, which is on brand for her Vosnian build. She's top-heavy with large pauldrons, shoulders double the width of her hips. Her new frame reflects her old human body in a very rough, vague way— only enough to be noticeable to those who really knew her before. She applies face paint by hand like her old makeup, and paints one servo red to match how she used to wear her nail polish. She's shorter than SS, around 30-ish feet tall (whereas he pushes 35'). She doesn't have a very good grasp on how her wings emote, therefore anyone who can read Seeker body language can always tell exactly how she's feeling.

She suffers with severe ptsd, depression, and body dysmorphia/ dysphoria as a result of the cyberforming and her human death, and semi-often has moments of panic and distress wherein she self-harms in an attempt to undo what's been done. In a potent mix of lingering human neurodivergency & the jarring biological shift, she often gets overwhelmed by her new body, notably her biomechanical functions: her optics cause a significant amount of stress on a regular basis, to the point where visual "notifications" and all other miscellaneous visual obstructions have to be disabled in order for her to function. This means no scanning data, etc, without purposefully reactivating the internal procedures required for the task. She also has a lot of trouble coping with the lack of sexual dimorphism. Shortly after her "awakening," she brutalized herself due to severe confusion and psychological distress (see the second to last image :( ) and KO had to sedate and mend her.

Every who encounters her and knows her story kinda assumes she just "came back" with a processor malfunction (or if they don't know her story, think she was just traumatized by the war), which isn't totally wrong. Knockout is one of her major supporters thru this and professionally thinks she probably needs a mnemosurgeon to fix her, but can't find any to contact so soon post-war.

She's rather clumsy, and takes a while to acclimate to such a different body (it also doesn't help that Seekers tend to have disproportionally long limbs, as well as cumbersome wings). She smacks things and other mechs with her wings, crushes things in her servos, basically she severely underestimates her own strength and size

One perk to her new body is that she can stream music directly into her processor, which is a function she abuses often to drown everything else out. There are functions she couldn't even dream of before: she can disable pain processors, turn off sight and hearing like throwing a switch, disable various biomechanical functions. She doesn't need to breathe like a human, or expel waste. Energon tastes like battery acid and firecrackers, but hey, she can turn off "taste" processors too.

She's afraid of herself at times, and by extension is afraid of intimacy too. She's afraid she's too different now, in a foreign body she can't seem begin understanding. She feels burdened by expectations; she's not a real Vosnian Seeker, she's not even a real Cybertronian in the way that counts— she is a freakish amalgamation of human memories and a soul stuffed into a shell made new especially for her, despite her having had no say in the matter... Or, at least, that's what she thinks. Those closest to her think she's a miracle and are thrilled to still have her, indefinitely now. Before when she was human, SS had been frustrated and genuinely afraid of feeling anything remotely positive towards her, because of how tragically short human life spans are (and his fears had been proven valid when she was killed). Now he has Marian forever, and while coping with his own problems post-war, he cares for her and teaches her how to be a noble Seeker.
