Could Boscha have Gotten a REAL redemption arc/character arc if the show wasn’t Cancelled/shortened?

Just seems like she could’ve been a decent minor antagonist from Season 2 and part of Season 3 , Hell could’ve gone from the Nobody to Nightmare trope.

Just felt like a waste of a potentially good villain/character.

While trying to come up with some Owl House comics, I started thinking about the friendship status of Boscha and Skara. It seems like they were originally friends because their parents made them be (just like Amity) and we know that Skara has friends outside of Boscha, i.e. the healer girl and her Grom date but other than the Grudgby team, idk if Boscha has other friends. It’s likely that Skara quit the Grudgby team since in the Ep “Something Ventured, Someone Framed”, we she Skara admit she “hates this game” and so when Willow was recruiting for Flyer Derby she went for that. So then now Skara has her Flyer Derby teammates as friends which includes Willow and Gus, both of whom were targets of Boscha’s bullying, a former detention track kid Viney and Willow’s now boyfriend Hunter. And also now as she’s a part of the scavenging team with Matt and Barcus, so it’s likely she’s friends with them too.

Which brings me to Boscha, the biggest friend she had for her popularity status was Amity but then she left to be with Luz and the Hexsquad. Then of course her main bullying target of Willow became somewhat popular especially with Boscha’s teammates after winning the Grudgby game (sure Boscha got the Rusty Smidge but we and Boscha’s teammates know that Willow’s team won) and they asked if she wanted to be on the team. So it’s probable that Willow was no longer a viable target for Boscha to bully since her teammates would likely stick up for Willow. Then the Day of Unity happened and Boscha watched as her remaining teammates/ friends sacrificed themselves to save Boscha from the Toy-Makers and basically saw her friends die in front of her because Boscha made a mistake (we know they’re fine but a kid like Boscha doesn’t). That made Boscha question herself and then that allowed Miki (Kikimora) to easily manipulate Boscha as ruler of New Hexside. You’d then think that with how Boscha acted towards Amity when she returned from the human realm that Boscha would want to keep her friends, even former ones close and yet she doesn’t seem to mind allowing Skara to go and risk her life by going into town for supplies and food.

Just sucks that this show was cancelled and shortened so that we can’t get anymore character development. At least we’ll have fanon and headcanons to fall back on.

Sorry if you've ready talked about this (I looked through your blog and didn't find anything) but do Bria and Boscha know about Bramble's condition? Did they ever see a doctor/healer about it?

Really quick comic but: I feel like something I’ve failed to communicate with brischa in my au and their kids is that they do love their children very much. So when Bramble seized for the first time on the Grudgby field, they were horrified. That’s their baby, their firstborn kid, who up to this point just seemed a little shy. Where the problem lies is neither of them really had the best examples of parenting or the best ways of managing their own emotions, so they kind of feed off each others worst traits.

So, when Boscha and Bria meant to say “I’m so sorry this happened to you, you’re gonna be okay even with this condition,” it came off as “you’ll be fine, just find something new to be the best at.” And in their eyes, Bramble, tired of everything, just gave up.

Sasha and Boscha would totally be rivals if they met.

At first but eventually Sasha would brag about having two girlfriends while Boscha’s crush is dating a human (if the Trio are witchlings too). This then causes Sasha to have to protect her girls more during Grudgby games as Boscha would be the type to hurt Anne and Marcy to get back at Sasha.
