Ngl, I find it sweet that Helena didn't end the world because she realized that she didn't want to kill Myka (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)💕

But on a more serious note, out of all the things Myka said to try to get through to Helena— even using the death of Helena's daughter against her— it wasn't until Myka was like "Okay, since you're going to end the world anyway, shoot me!" and had Helena hold the gun to her head and everything that Helena refused to end the world. She realized she didn't want to be the reason Myka dies

I think that proved that not only does Helena deeply care for Myka, but she's also not a cold-blooded killer like everyone (but not Myka) so strongly believes. Notice how every time Helena mentioned killing someone, it was always someone who was a threat and never simply because they were in her way. I also think Myka accepted Helena so much because since the first few times they ran into each other, Myka could understand what Helena's feeling. Even before they were on the same side, Myka and Helena had the same disdain for men, they also tragically lost someone they loved, and they both love literature. (Bonus: both of them worked with someone who acted immature)

My Mind Wandered a Little

I was watching an episode of Poirot (S06E04 - Dumb Witness) and one of the characters was reading Stories of Men and Women in Love by HG Wells.

I couldn't help thinking that after meeting a certain Warehouse agent...

...maybe HG considered making a revision to the book. When it was published, she catered to the tastes at the time, but things have progressed since then.
