I just imagined if batchild who favored Tim being Bruce bio-child. Damian so jealous and angry because his blood sibling chose Drake over him? This is too personal. Poor Tim will not have peace. I can imagine Damian trying to prove himself to his little sibling.

Yes, Damian will terrorize Tim over this. He has such bad emotional regulation and he doesn't fully understand why he's so angry. He doesn't particularly like children and all their crying and babbling..they're stupid and useless...

But it peeves him so much seeing Tim take on such a prominent older brother role in their life. Tim is tainting the kid, he's not teaching them properly. A child should be held this way, it should be taught this, you need to do this. That is what his mother did to ensure his proper development so it must be right!

I can just imagine Damian cringing at all the baby talk and stupid games Tim plays with them. At first he's such a hate watcher of them. He'll be in the corner of the room, glaring daggers into them. "hmph they're perfect for each other. Dumb and even dumber. Guess which is which..." He snickers in his mind

Then he resorts to insulting Tim and micro-managing him. His baby siblings doesn't need to play with rattles, they need to be doing more intensive activities....Ughh.. They're being so stunned right now.

Then...slowly when no one is watching, he might speak to it. He doesn't get down on the floor with his sibling, he's just looking down at 'em and low-key shit talking. They piss him off so much but still he's at a lost for why?? Why does he seem to care about them and their upbringing so much when he hates them?

It isn't until Tim leaves for a mission or something when Damian *attempts* to hold and play with batchild. The child just looked so pitiful that he felt compelled to entertain them. Batchild starts to unexpectedly grow on him...eventually he starts kind of...loving them...? He feels warm when they smile at him...and an intense passion to protect them...

He's shy about it but Damian is obsessed with that damn baby. He won't try to draw attention to it but that is his baby now.

He can't help but to feel so possessive over them too, he'll cross his arms and huff when someone picks them up...he's stealing them back after five minutess...

But here's where the issue arises, Damian finally is feeling super close with batchild and has created this secret bond that no one else understands. He's done this oath with them in a pillow fort and everything, he's confidently believes that he's the new favorite sibling.

"Okay, Now we will drink this grape juice as we are solidified as true bloods of the Wayne bloodline..."

*intense babbles and clapping*

"Yes, our superior lineage is something to celebrate."

But then Tim comes back and batchild completely forgets about Damian and rushes to Tim. Even refusing to be held by Damian later on. His heart is crushed and to him this is the ultimate betrayal.

If Tim didn't have peace before, he really won't have it now. Like Damian wants to duel over this, it's that serious to him.

The pure venom that Damian spews is so fucked up that I cannot even repeat it. Like Tim is worried for his safety at this point.

Damien would definitely steal batchild out of their crib at night and take them into one of the unused rooms in another wing of the manor. It's fully decorated with tons of things batchild loves, all necessities...even has tons of snacks and a fridge with goodies. Damian is fully prepared to be the sole provider for this baby. lmaoo. He's hiding this kid out there for a good couple of hours before everyone realizes where the two of them are.

Damian is fighting hard to keep from them taking batchild...but is defeated when batchild sees Tim and goes

"Timmy!!" and tries running to him. It's so hilarious. Damian is at his wits end. He's never going to stop though until he's number one. Even if "Timmy" has to go.

Dami is the most un-serious-serious person on the planet.

Dorm Leaders Meet Villain Counterparts

If my childhood self saw Twst, I feel like she would combust because it's literally two parts of my childhood put together (anime and Disney). But here's something I thought of for Halloween or for some writing in general, hope you enjoy!

Riddle

I feel like he would kind of fangirl, like omg this is literally a Great Seven just standing in front of him!

Is extremely polite, the queen probably likes him because he remembers every rule, every little thing that will get him on his good side.

The two of them probably get along to some extent, though I feel like even if she is kinda bonkers, she would feel a little bad for how he basically had no childhood. Like yeah Riddle's the role-model student and dorm leader, but this kid hasn't had much fun in his life. Might actually be a little more chill with him haha

Overall the two of them are definitely immediate friends and will be a nightmare to Ace and Deuce. I can see these two enjoying tea together while Ace and Deuce have to paint flowers lmaooo

Leona

How does this work? Like a lion meeting a beastman? I feel like Scar would be more confused than Leona like "what is going on this guy's like half me?"

I feel like they wouldn't really have a fangirling moment like Riddle did, but they are definitely chill together. Like Leona might be like "Imma sleep here" and Scar's like "👍" and they don't bother each other. Do I think Scar will try to eat Leona? No. But will he try to eat other students? Maybe

The two totally understand the whole "my-brother-got-all-the-attention" feeling and might bond a bit with that. Not sure what that would look like, but they might complain about how Mufasa/Farena feel too pompous. Oh, and they don't like kids, find them annoying haha

I really have no idea how this would look like since it would look like a lion just standing around in a dorm lobby with a prince just like "yo whattup bro" but I would love to see it!

Azul

Definitely fangirls a little bit, might scare Ursula a tad because he seems to know everything about her? I mean, great at least she's regarding as a "benevolent" person

The two are totally going to plot for someone's demise together and make a fail-proof plan to take over the school. Crowley stops the two from going too far but they have the plan, it might happen any day lol. They definitely talk about their favorite spells and potions for sure

I feel like Ursula would feel kinda bad for Azul too, sort of like Riddle's case. Will remind him to not worry about others since she thinks he's much better than all of the other students. Azul might tear up a bit (the two share a small wholesome moment before going back to business-related stuff)

I feel like it would be kinda fun to see how they would act together. I think they would at first notice each others' scams and then be like "omg great minds think alike" lmaoo

Kalim (feat. Jamil)

Kalim thinks Jafar looks scary, but nonetheless is super hyped to meet him. Will throw a big party and it might cause the sorcerer to be low-key stunned by all of the attention. If Iago's there, he definitely got a biscuit/cracker from Kalim by force

I feel like Jafar will talk more to Jamil than Kalim while he's busy trying to chase Iago down by carpet (please a carpet chase please) mainly because Jafar kinda feels bad for Jamil. Like this guy's had almost the same life as he did, but Jamil is like "nope don't worry I have a plan 😈"

Jamil probably likes Iago because he's always wanted a parrot as a pet, will likely not force a cracker/biscuit which helps Iago warm up to him faster than Kalim.

I think all of these characters could hit it off well, but it's honestly kinda awkward when Jafar's like "I was going to overthrow the sultan" and then Kalim's like "...that lowkey feels familiar but imma let that slide 💀"

Vil

The two are immediately like "you're beautiful queen" "thank you bae" 😭

I literally feel like they would bash their respective rivals while doing skin care together. Like they'll be like "xyz is so annoying" whlie lying down on a couch and the other one is like "fr." Iconic, and definitely all the students can tell the Evil Queen has a regal air about her. Vil doesn't fangirl as much as the others, but he definitely says that he respects her a lot

I think the Evil Queen, as evil as she is, will still feel bad for Vil since she can see how much effort and work he puts into his work. He's a model, an influencer, a dorm leader, all at once and it feels like not a lot of people respect him as much as they should. Definitely tells him that he's doing well

The two of them need to do a collaboration of some kind, and if she happens to help him out on dorm duties one day all of the students are like "oh no it's like 2 Vils at once" lol

Idia

I actually really want to see this, probably will be the funniest interaction because they're almost like polar opposites. Hades is all like "Hades, Lord of the Underworld how'rya doin?" and Idia's like "...eep"

While Hades is around Twisted Wonderland he'll definitely try to raise idia's confidence. Will take him all around campus to get him to talk to people and also to show off his own skills lol. But Hades probably loved watching Idia play video games, like damn why's he so good at rhythm games 💀

Will find Ortho super adorable, but definitely felt really bad about Ortho and Idia's backstory. He may be evil in the Disney version of Greek mythology, but I feel like Hades would still have a bit of a heart to feel bad for Idia, like he's gone through so much in so little time. Probs gave him a hug too

The two of them have definitely tried playing some games together, and whenever the two of them got angry at a boss it was like the room lit up red because of their hair lol. Idia probably thought it was super cool that Hades had similar hair to him, maybe fangirled a little bit about that

Malleus

I feel like the two would have the chillest conversations out of all of them because they just feel like the cool-headed ones. Malleus definitely is respectful towards her, and she is too. Definitely praised him for his magic abilities

The two have bonded over their lack of party invitations, but Malleus is like "oh I've been getting invited to a house tho!" and then boom Yuu has to meet one of the greatest Disney villains of all time while in their pajamas lol

I feel like for sure Maleficent thinks Malleus is a super cool person, might want to meet his mother too just because it might be an interesting interaction. Nonetheless the two of them are super chill. Sebek will want to talk to her too just because she's just so popular

Will Malleus geek out about grotesques and gargoyles to her? Yes. Is it fun for her? Surprisingly so! I feel like even if she's known as the Mistress of Evil, she might like smaller more mundane things like medieval architecture, and it's always fun to hear from Malleus so why not? She has definitely asked Yuu about their life and experiences which might've scared the shit out of them but still haha

this inclination to understand what you're thinking is what helped you bond.

it started off with him literally being like,

You gave an apologetic look, one close to tears as his outburst startled you greatly. You were already late for a meeting and now you were being yelled at. On top of that, this awful interaction had just caused you to drop all your papers that were needed for your job.

You mutter an apology and kneel down to pick up the scattered papers. Bakugo lifts his brow as he watches you scramble and sighs a cuss under his breath at how passive you are. He begrudgingly bends down to start helping you pick up your stuff, feeling bad for his upfront behavior. He's much quicker than you probably because he mixed up the papers around, but he stands back and fixes them into a pile, looking down at your gaping expression at his aggressive niceness.

You nod and frantically collect your stuff as you stand, pointing in the direction you need to go whilst he holds your stuff for you.

Bakugo was so stunned at how hard he had fell back on his own butt. that doesn't normally happen when he's not sparring with a fellow hero.

that day he left you be, but later on he'd tease and test you to see how much you were truly hiding.

of course he wasn't forcing you into situations you didn't want to be in, but he finds it so amusing of how much you can truly exert in strength being the twerp you are.

there's even a few times where he bribes you to lift heavy ass weights just to admire how strong you are lmaoo.

he's genuinely so into you that everything you do keeps him entertained.

never would he have guessed the quiet person he had never glanced at before could be so…. unique.

✧ ˖ ° simon is the first to really figure out how deep your servitude runs, what the real reason behind it is. it's during one of your missions together, him and johnny and you in a firefight. johnny gets separated from the two of you and he can nearly feel the panic radiating off of you at the thought of your teammate, your friend, being gone. you do a good job of concealing it, of pushing through it to clear the area before you bolt to go looking for him.

✧ ˖ ° it clicks for simon so quickly because he's been where you are before. he's felt that trepidation too many times, the dread dripping cold down his spine when the other end of the radio goes silent. he's felt that same dizzying relief when you both reunite with johnny and your shoulders visibly relax. so when you're all back at base and you're hanging back while you fiddle with your gear, he pats a heavy hand on your shoulder with a gruff "y'did good, kid," before he walks away.

✧ ˖ ° kyle doesn't quite figure it out in the same depth as simon, but he picks up on the way you get nearly giddy at any kind of praise or validation and how anxious you seem to get when you think you haven't done something as well as they want you to. as he gets to know you and grows more and more fond of you, he'll make it a point to encourage you and try his best to help you build your confidence in your abilities. it's subtle and obvious at the same time, a quick "nice shot!" over the radio during missions and a huffed "are you ever gonna let me win?" while you're sparring together.

✧ ˖ ° it's not something that's spoken between you two, but you know he'll always be there for you. being the closest in age (and social media knowledge) helps you both to bond quickly and strongly when you join the team, and eventually people start joking that the two of you are attached at the hip. and it's pretty much true; when you aren't together you're texting, sending memes back and forth and talking about how bored or entertained you were in the moment. during missions, you're checking in with each other every few minutes, to the point where simon starts getting annoyed.

✧ ˖ ° price can see it in you the same way he can see it in so many of the recruits that join the military seeking purpose and approval. you're looking for a reason that others will give you to keep going, and he wants to tell you that you need to find your own reason, that you will find your own reason, but it's not something for him to explain. instead, he'll show you a gentleness that he doesn't often show; it's not outright obvious, not enough that others besides probably the rest of the 141 will notice, but it's enough that you'll see it. encouragement and very slowly helping you build your confidence is the road price takes to help you. quiet affirmations after training sessions, positive feedback surrounding the negative, a heavy hand thumping against your back when you do well- price is quiet, but he notices.

✧ ˖ ° as for johnny, well... he's not oblivious, per say, but he'll be somewhere along the "realization scale" close to kyle. it's not something that he's personally worried about himself all that much. johnny knows his talents and capabilities, and the confidence he's built up after a decade in the military is unquestionable. but you haven't had as long as him, as any of them to climb to their level of self-assurance, and he's aware of that much at least.

✧ ˖ ° when he sees you struggling internally with your self-doubt, johnny always swoops in with something to lighten your mood. he brings up that you've mastered a particular move in training already or how impressed he was that you're already able to bring himself down while sparring. johnny sticks near you when he can; he'll eat meals with you and work out with you and just enjoy your company during your free time at the base. if he sees you struggling with something during training, you become certain that he'll always pull you aside after everyone leaves and help you until you've got it down.

✧ ˖ ° as a whole, the men of the 141 task force aren't great at outright reassurance and emotional help. they're hardened soldiers who've proven their worth time and time again, but they know you haven't had a chance to yet. so with their unknowingly combined forces, they'll do their best to make sure you do get that chance, to make sure that you know how much of an irreplaceable and valuable cog in their well-oiled machine you've become.

Ugh, Clown's like slight betrayal has me on a chokehold because like, it's not even shocking but like at the same time it's why we're doubting it. Mane could be lying but at the same time what could he gain from that? A fight from Clown cuz maybe he thinks Clown cares about Kab or something?? No idea

But like I don't know half of the story because I wasn't there when like Clown and Kab first interacted and had their alliance in her first few days. Maybe Clown changed his ways. But idk, it kinda just broke my heart. Kaboodle would burn the world down for him and he wouldn't even do the same, so are we like getting Kab genuine villain arc?? Kab needs to talk to him so bad lmaoo

but here are my genuine thoughts: Killerbunnies is such a tight bond, it's unbreakable and is beyond friendship and family. But the problem is that it also has a huge power dynamic, right? Clown is great at PvP, he betrays, he leaves people behind but in turn he also gets betrayed and people don't trust him. Meanwhile Kaboodle is bad at PvP but she's good at manipulating, turning the tides but just like Clown, she sometimes betrays, leaves people behind and in return she also gets betrayed and people don't trust her and I think the craziest part about that is that's the only thing they might have in common. The WANT for companionship. But the question is, how do they show it?

Because yeah, while they have similarities in terms of that and that, Clown and Kab are very different and you can't deny that Clown has more power over Kab and that's why I think they don't see each other as equals, with Kab planning to sacrifice herself when the time comes and Clown making time for her. But you also can't deny that it's different in a good way.

I honestly think Manepear made some good points, I like to think of it as this way. Everyone has humanity in them and even those who have a lot can only express a little and people who have less can show more. You can have a lot (Good Intent) but it's like, it will have a lot of negative impact on the people if you can't show it. Kinda like Kab's analogy.

Like that's the thing with Kab too, remember that major crashout with like Zam where she's like "Yeah he cares but it's like he doesn't care enough to try. " and yes it's different for Clown cause maybe he just sucks at showing feelings but like you gotta see how it also applies to that because maybe Clown cares, but like does he care enough to try for YOU? Yes maybe he helped Kab but like Kab has done more, and yes it's not fair for Kab to expect Clown to do stuff for him and to do the same but that's the thing, Kab doesn't expect Clown to do that so I feel like Clown doesn't try to, but Clown probably doesn't expect Kab to sacrifice herself for him yet she will. It's like that thing where two characters would die for each other and it's unspoken, except this time it's one sided. I honestly don't think it counts as a betrayal and maybe it's fake but it's a huge eye opener for maybe Kab and some of the viewers cause yeah I haven't been here long enough to know all of the lore so my bad lmaoo. Like y'all gotta understand, power dynamics are a huge part in relationships.

Idk, maybe the huge problem with them is expectations, miscommunication, Kab's trust issues and Clown's inability to reassure her sometimes, like it's such a good plot for unscripted stuff cuz it feels like it's been foreshadowed by complete accident LOL

i think twitter sns are mainly vain and shallow. tiktok sns barely read the manga. tumblr sns have all the smart meta blogs but there are also a lot of the edgy wannabe communists who annoyed me too much sometimes especially since naruto (the character) is my og fave all the way since i was a kid so i take offense in the way he's constantly bashed around these circles. like yes i get it he grow up to be a bootlicker he's a neoliberal all of this is bad etc etc and all of the criticism of these are warranted but sometimes its just too much that idgaf sorry.

I had to look in my copy of book 9 for this but when Rayni reveals her identity to them, Wylie recognizes her almost immediately. Like he knows that he's seen her before, despite not seeing her for almost 5 or so years. He also (kinda?) remember what her name was (He messed up a bit there) and Rayni was genuinely surprised that he knew her.

I'm pretty sure there was another moment or two in the book, but honestly I can not remember-

ANYWAYS they have a lot of stuff they can relate too!!

For starters, both lost their parents at a young age.

Both have some kind of older sibling relationship with Tam (they can definitely bond over that; trust me).

They're the oldest of the Solreef household kids, and as the oldest daughter of 4, no matter what the situation you can always, ALWAYS relate to being the oldest.

They have a bunch more things they can relate too, but for now imma move on.

the codependency was so bad in this one. and at the same time, it's unavoidable- first for gaeul, but then for san too. for different reasons and the same- soulmates. imagine being told that your soulmate was both alive and dying bc of you?? (wondering if i was too cruel with them LOL) and san is such a strong soldier in this one- never showing his true feelings about how bad he feels about all of this and how desperate he is, only revealing bits here and there *sighs* i gave my man a tough time in both these books. i should give him a break 😔✌️

OMG. the panther dimension. when i tell you i was so out of ideas and so stuck?? like up to the part where gaeul goes to the other dimension, yeah, nothing difficult im writing consistently and everything, and then came the one thing i had been dreading-

why did everything that happened in horizon really happen?

was it just bc kieran was lucky enough to kill gaeul at the right time? eh... seems too far fetched, right? if he was that much of a genius he wouldn't be in prison. and then i watched one of my fav shows of all time dark again- all the time loop knowledge i have i owe to that series, if you haven't watched it drop everything and do you'll lose your mind.

but anyways, i watched it and refreshed some knowledge, looked at my universe and refreshed that knowledge, and then reread the whole draft and found sth i could work with

the monsters in the forest in chap 1. why did i write them? i wasn't sure at that time i just wanted to add sth cool LMAO but the what ifs started and i started reconsidering the whole thing that i had written, started requestioning all the time travel/loop thing in take me home, ready to edit the heck out of horizon but somehow, with minimal damage (and by that i mean the going back to edit in the new details) i finally came up with a reason-

the natural flow of time. and what happens when you mess with that. the flow chart linked in the lore masterlist pretty much explains my thought process lmao

AND NEVE LORE AHAHAHA maybe? 😏 as yeosang may or may not have said "time travelling is messy business and shoul be avoided at all costs" (this sounds like sth hj would say tho)

he invites you out for a summer evening hanging out the docks and the beach. the two of you eat a packed meal he brought from the tavern as a special little picnic, which he also planned the hell out of. bought those cheap little plastic candles to hold the blanket down and for some nice mood lighting. he plays it off like it's a joke, mostly because he loves the way you smile when you see them.

you finish eating a little before sunset, and the two of you kick off your shoes and decide to wade along the waterline as the sun sets. it casts the shoreline in an otherworldly glow of oranges and reds and pinks, and noah watches as it lights up your features like nothing has before. you're in the middle of talking about something, and the sound of your voice paired with the lighting just. yeah. he's down bad.

you end up splashing him at some point. he definitely ends up losing his glasses in the tide. that's a whole ordeal to find but you do. speaking from experience, nothing bonds u better than life or death hunt for glasses in the waves lmaoo

perhaps. a kiss while the sun is setting. the pink of the sky edges into the purples and blues of nightfall, the first stars twinkle high above, and the two of you stand ankle-deep in the water and share a kiss. perhaps.

he walks you home, too, and makes sure you get inside safe :) wishes you goodnight.

first off, we know he's a romantic at heart. he's definitely going to show up with flowers to walk you to the date.

pablo would definitely take you out to the tavern to start off. he's there often enough that it's comfortable for him and if you're close, it's safe to assume he's invited you plenty of times, too. he just loves the atmosphere! the food is great, the music is good, the vibe of the whole place is nice–it just feels like a good, neutral spot to start.

the two of you meet there a little after sunset and order some dinner! you sit together in a corner booth so that you can still observe what's happening without feeling obligated to join in conversations outside the two of you if you don't want to. it's a great start to let both of you feel comfortable. plus you know the food is some of the best you're gonna get in starlet town 😌

conversation comes really easily! there's really no tension; it's not formal in the slightest and pablo is such a charismatic guy that he can take any lull in conversation and make something work. it's obvious that he's a little more nervous being on a /date/ with you, though. you can probably see him fidgeting like crazy when he doesn't think you're paying attention and he's always looking for some assurance that he's doing well, even if it's just in your smile or the sound of your laughter when his jokes land.

you share a round of drinks, and by the end of the meal the both of you are feeling good 😎

if you want the night to continue, the two of you can head back to his place 💪 he's got a great setup in his garage for the two of you to hang out in. he'll play you all kinds of music, maybe even watch a movie or two. he will DEFINITELY do the yawn-stretch hand around your shoulders thing lol. he'll melt if you rest against him while you're watching anything together.

once you're tapped out (if you don't decide to just spend the night) he'll offer to walk you home. the two of you take the most scenic route you can, half because he wants to hear you point out all the little things you pass along the way and half because he wants the night to last a little longer

he just loves the sound of your voice tbh. man is down bad

he'll walk you up the porch and say goodnight, and, if everything's gone well, he'll sneak you a goodnight kiss in the dim glow of your porch light before he sees you off

he's head over heels by the end of the first date though. no doubt. man is a hardcore romantic at heart.

hmmm there are a lot of friendships to admire within bully, soooo so much. it's hard to pick just one lol so i will do a few of my favs teehee

an obvious one is gord & tad because bro. BRO. you just KNOW they're besties, like they don't even interact heavily in canon and i believe they don't mention each other in dialogue at all, but ever since my first playthrough... dawg. i always associated them together. i think they're a phenomenal ship, but to a certain degree, i think they work better as friends.

you just know they get together and gossip and shop together and that tad tells gord all about how he's gonna eventually be the leader and that gord tells tad about his dreams to go to law school. it's MWAH great. they're great.

i saw fanart for this about two years ago, but cornelius & trent is a good one!! again, i think they would be so cute as a ship, but the idea of their friendship is also really interesting to me, esp bc it would be between a nerd and a bully.

but with cornelius canonically playing juliet in the school production of romeo and juliet, and with trent being very passionate about acting, i think they would find themselves being unlikely friends in theatre.

Quick post on how my life is going because AHH I'm reeling

TL;DR: I have a crush on this one guy (maybe) and he has a crush on me but I'm not technically supposed to know so SHH

Look, okay, I know what this sounds like yeahhhh I mean, I met this guy last summer in chemistry when I picked him to be my unknowing academic rival (muahaha he still doesn't know this because he actually kicked my ass at pchem and I don't want him to know that). And that was really only because we were both commuters and usually I got to class first but for some reason he started getting to class first instead so it was just a way to keep myself entertained for that expedited hell class (recall that I had to go on semi-hiatus for that shit oh god)

But see, day one of pchem, I made a study group discord. And, yes, 10 people came in (one of which, if you recall, is the nice guy (derogatory) from [this] post, but this isn't about him). So a couple of us met a few times already then, one day, another person sends a message to the discord asking where our study room is. Me, being me, stood outside to flag him over and... imagine my shock... my unknowing academic rival. That's how we met, I kinda kept trying to bring him into the conversation to make sure he didn't feel left out because I could tell he's kind of introverted (takes one to know one) and ngl he was kind hot and lowkey my type so like YUHHHH another thing to keep me more entertained.

Some things led to others, the study group got closer (to the point that we're all in a friend group now except for the nice guy (derogatory) we all blocked him after pchem LMAOO) and we still hang out often now. Basically, we all bonded over the shared trauma that was that red flag dude mixed with pchem lmfao.

So to summarize those paragraphs, I've been crushing on this dude for almost four months now lmfao to the point that I started questioning if I really wanted to date him or if I was just wanting to be in a relationship I don't even know AHHHHHH

Anyway, yesterday was my birthday. Deal changer. It turns out all of my friends planned a surprise party for me and, allegedly, my crush (who I will now refer to as J), was really active in planning it (well they all were but still). So we had the small surprise party, and he offered to drive me to my car (fun fact, my university's parking lots are a whopping 15-minute walk from the main campus). So, considering it was late, I accepted. Anyway, yada, yada, he gave me my gift, took me to my car, and was off! I didn't think too much of it because it's kind of a normal thing for the both of us to walk each other to our cars because we park in the same parking lot and leave campus. Then I went to kbbq with my family and go drunk off my ass on soju (eight shots, I'm so ashamed).

But here's where the fun starts.

I was drunk.

I opened his gift when I got home, and oh gosh it was a couple of things and AHHH all together they're actually kind of expensive? I'm going to be honest buying gifts is something that lowkey stresses me out so whenever people ask what I want I just tell them money because whatever they got me for my birthday I feel like I have to get of equal value (and yes I understand that sounds bad but still). But it was just really sweet and ever since then, lowkey, he's kind of spending a lot of money on me like my man, J, pls, I need to pay you back somehow. Y'all don't understand, he walks me to my car at night, we study together, hell, he buys me food sometimes, I gotta pay him back some how!

But, and there's been a development, yes, that's right, my friends, J now lends me his hoodies when I get cold. I've done it, lads, I've done it!!! Also, okay, okay, not to be that person but long time followers know that I'm 4'11 (short queen), this guy is a whole foot taller than me, I swim in his hoodie, I love it, I've been spoiled, I want to experience that again, send help pls, but yes, that's like the main run down of it, AHHHHHH ah I don't know what to do-

Summary; Reader is having a really hard time with Team Flash splitting apart, especially when her best friend for the past six years is leaving. Reader realizes just how attached she is to Cisco mentally, and Kamilla finally realizes why.

Spoilers for season 7 although I haven’t watched it yet Lmaoo.

“Hi, I’m Y/N L/N,” You greet the man with long hair with a bright smile and an extended hand, “I’ll be working with you today,”

He finds you standing at the balcony of the new lounge area of STAR Labs. He can visibly tell you’re upset- nose red, arms crossed, eyes on the floor.

“I’m Cisco Ramon,” The man copies your action, taking your hand with his own toothy grin, “It’s great to meet you,”

“Hey you,” Cisco moves in front of you, waiting for your eyes to look up at him before he tilts his head, “You wanna tell me what’s on your mind?”

“The same thing that’s on everyone else’s,” You shrug a shoulder, raising your sleeve to wipe your nose, “You’re leaving. Simple as that,”

“The pleasures mine,” You send him a last smile, looking over to Harrison Wells beside you. Cisco hates how drawn he is to your smile.

Cisco exhales a short breath at your response. He knew you’d take it the hardest. You and him had been friends since the beginning of STAR Labs. Every bad guy he went through, you were there with him. Even after the death of Dante and the deaths of not just Harry and Jesse, but Gypsy, he met someone else- Kamilla.

You didn’t hate Kamilla. You absolutely adored her. But he was choosing a life outside of Central City with her and none of his other friends were involved with it.

It killed you inside.

“I’m not mad at you,” You raise your hands to wipe your eyes, sighing against the palms of them, “I’m just upset in general. We’ve already lost so many people- Harry and Jesse, HR, Gypsy- and now you’re leaving too, and you’re my best friend even after all the shit we went through,”

“She’s a keeper,” Cisco’s head snaps up at Doctor Wells’ words. What? At the males confusion, the doctor hums and nods a head to where you fixed a small piece of Barry’s suit, “Shes one of a kind. Never met anyone like her,”

“You’re my best friend too, Y/N,” Cisco’s hand reaches out, stepping forward to wrap his arm at your shoulders and pull you against him, “You’re my best friend and I love you, you know that?”

Cisco’s eyes shift to you. Watch as you pat Barry’s chest and step away to admire the work you put into the suit, before you look at Cisco yourself and grin. Cisco can’t help but smile back.

“I know, and I’m so happy for you to find someone like Kamilla,” Your arms wrap around him through a sniffle, “I just hate watching another person I love leave, whether it’s by choice or not,”

Cisco this times inhales a deep breath. His lips rest at your hair, holding you until your sniffles stopped. “I don’t want you to go,” You murmur, feeling another tear slip down your jaw. You lift your head, allowing Cisco to lean his forehead against yours with a close of his eyes.

“Cisco? What’re you still doing here?”

You shift your arms around his neck, pulling him down into an embrace that nearly leaves you both in tears. “Okay,” You exhale, leaning back with a quick wipe of your face. You smile, grasping his upper arms as his own eyes brimmed red, “I’m proud of you. I love you, and I wish you so much luck with Kamilla. I mean it, Cisco,”

Cisco smiles, shaking his head as he chokes out a laugh, “Thank you,”

You nod, letting him step back before you exhale a second time, shaking out the tense nerves in your body. Cisco copies you, grinning as he turns and moves out from the lounge area and into the hallway.

Cisco turns in his desk chair. He sees you, dressed in the jeans and sweater you wore earlier in the day, although it was now reaching one A.M. “I could ask you the same thing,”

Your laugh is weak, “After Doctor- Thawne- attacked me in my apartment?” You move to sit in the chair beside him, “I don’t have the guts to step into my own home again,”

“You could stay at my place, if you want,” Cisco’s suggestion makes you hum, tiredly, tilting your head to look at him through half lidded eyes,

“Only if I get to wear that Harry Potter hoodie you always wear,” You test, Cisco scoffing playfully,

“Fine. But only because I’m sick of finding you asleep at your desk at six in the morning,” Cisco shakes his head with a grin. You smile back, heaving a laugh as you glance at him a second time.

His eyes flick between yours, hesitantly, “Can I kiss you?”

You don’t answer. Instead, you tiredly reach up a hand to his shoulder, nearly tugging him forward so you could slide your hand to his face, allowing his lips to easily mold into yours,

“You still love her,”

Kamillas words cause his head to snap up. His brows are pinched, staring at her oddly calm face as she leans against his lab desk,

“What?”

“You still love her, Cisco,” Kamilla speaks, head tilting slightly with a small smile, “I can tell,”

“Yeah I love her,” Cisco looks down at the tool he was fiddling with, “Shes my best friend. Same with Caitlin,”

“Not that way, silly,” Kamillas voice worries him. She’s too calm. “You and Caitlin don’t have the same past as you and Y/N,” At Cisco’s further confusion, she frowns, “She told me. About the kiss,”

Cisco looks down at this, edging her to continue, “You love her, and she loves you. I’m just in the way of that,”

“No, Kamilla, you’re not,” Cisco shakes his head, looking at her in a plea, “Just because Y/N and I decided not to push it forward does not mean I’m trying to use you in replacing that. I’m not,”

“But that’s what I feel like is happening,” Kamilla steps forward, wiping the tear that fell down Cisco’s cheek, “And I’m not mad. I understand. You had that bond and it’s still there. You’re both just avoiding it because I’m here,”

Cisco shakes his head, letting his eyes flutter close, “I don’t know what to do,”

“I do,” Kamilla smiles, weakly, “You need to stay here with her. I don’t want to take you away. You need her just as much as she needs you, whether you admit it or not,”

“I’m sorry for dragging you on like this,” Cisco mumbles, wiping his hand over his face through a deep sigh, “I thought I had fully moved on from her,”

“Just promise me this,” Kamillas voice drops his hand from his face, “Promise me you’ll keep her happy. I know there are a lot of team members leaving, you shouldn’t be one of them,”

Cisco nods his head, slowly, reaching forward to embrace the woman who smiles in relief, “Thank you, Kamilla,”

“Of course,” Kamilla leans back, “Now go get your girl,”
