I love your writing!!! I’ve reread lumps about 10 times in this year alone just eagerly waiting for updates on alohamora! I know the work hasn’t been updated in almost 10 months but is there any hope for the future of it or is it fully abandoned?

Your work is so great and I love how you’re bringing the two worlds together in them and I just love them and am constantly waiting for more!! <3

Hi! First of all, thank you for the compliments and I’m glad that you liked both of those works. None of my writing is fully abandoned—a lot of my life has changed in the past year and I’ve been focusing on trying to get applications for good film schools/colleges done. My main plan is to focus on writing again after decision letters for those colleges come out, which will be around February/March. I’ll be honest and say I haven’t picked up Alohomora since I last updated, so it might take me a while to readjust. Sometimes I do want to write Carmuel again for some one-shots, but I always decide against it (thinking I have bigger fish to fry for the time being). But yeah, once I don’t have to worry about all of that, I’ll get back into writing! I had some exciting stuff planned for the fic!

Nosy, still floating, looks at Olivier with wide, confused eyes. His tiny paws paddle in the air as he tries to regain control of his movements until he is finally held in the young wizard's arms. The Niffler looks up at Olivier, seemingly grateful for the temporary refuge. As Olivier waits for the effect of the Fizzy Whizzbees to wear off, he gently rubs Nosy's tummy, trying to calm him down. The little troublemaker still felt a bit groggy from the Fizzy Whizzbees but he enjoyed the tummy rubs from the Hufflepuff. After all, it was the secret kryptonite of the Niffler.

Finding a secluded spot away from the bustling crowd, Olivier continues to hold the levitating menace in his arms. "What's your name, little fella?" Nosy hears Olivier mutter. The Niffler looks up at him with wide, trusting eyes and squeaks at him before nestling into Olivier's arms, his fur soft against his skin. 

Nosy purred softly, his eyes half-closed in contentment. Olivier continued to stroke his belly, his touch gentle and soothing. The little menace began to get drowsy.

As the minutes pass, the effects of the Fizzy Whizzbees gradually fade away. Nosy's levitation slows down, and eventually he settles onto Olivier's lap, his paws resting comfortably. The Hufflepuff continues to stroke his fur, the rhythmic motion lulling Nosy into a peaceful slumber.

The little Niffler lets out a soft yawn as he drifts off to sleep.

*there's a soft rustling outside Sebastian's door, which slowly eases open as Clementine squeezes through the gap. her nose is planted on the ground, twitching in her determination to track down a strange smell that has caught her attention.

as she pads across the stone tiles, her ears prick up at the sound of movement on top of Sebastian's bed. approaching the mattress with a curious tilt, she finds a small creature curled up asleep on top of a pile of glittering coins. she sniffs the niffler and wags her tail in delight, quite proud that she's found the source of the musky, metallic scent that had been bothering her the whole afternoon.*

*Nosy lay snuggled up on the bed, surrounded by coins, candy, Sebastian's wand, and other glittering and shimmering treasures, and was fast asleep. The little menace had earned himself a nap after another successful hunt for loot and was having the sweetest of dreams.

However, his restful nap was interrupted by an unusual noise - a constant panting and sniffing. The sleepy Niffler slowly opened his eyes and blinked a few times. Not fully awake yet, Nosy looked around the room and noticed the fluffy face at the end of Sebastian's bed. Little Nosy tilted his head and squeaked at the new visitor.*
