Being a “Fun Fact !” kind of autistic is all fun and games until you get halfway through sharing an interesting tidbit and realize that it probably wasn’t appropriate to share in polite company and now you have to deal with the consequences :(

Sometimes, I'm sad about the hobbies I have abandoned or have been too intimidated to pick up. But... what good is it, to just beat myself up over that? My bass is sitting in the corner, patiently waiting, and so is everything else. My life isn't over, and I've got nothing to answer to. I'm wading through a sea of time, and I'll pick up the seashells that interest me, and it's okay to put one back in the sand. The current's waves will bring it back to me if that is to be destiny. I can not hate myself into productivity, so I must swim on.
I think the same can apply to anybody. It's okay if you have dropped something, such as a hobby or passion. Human beings are like that sometimes, it isn't reasonable for you to beat yourself into submission. You, too, can not hate yourself into being a well-rounded person. You must cultivate it like you would a garden - with patience, time, and care.

I’d just like to remind you that yes, it’s okay to question and reject obviously biased and badly conducted research on fat bodies.
You’re not a science denier for not liking research when its purpose is not to help you, but to make you seem inferior.
If we go 100 years back, all research on POC and women was conducted through a lense of bias. Research on fat people was similarly biased back then, but hasn’t changed for the better since.
And as you wouldn’t blame women claiming sexist research as biased and faulty, you shouldn’t blame fat people for pointing out fatphobia in research and claiming such research as biased and faulty.
Toodles!

i need everyone to know that your body is so wonderful and worthy of worship. yes that means your fat rolls or stretch marks or cellulite or body hair or moles or double chin or flat ass or small boobs or apron belly or big nose or thin lips or acne or any other thing society has deemed “undesirable.”
if that feels impossible, please come to accept that your body is the least interesting thing about you, and you are a whole and complete person despite what it looks like.
