A/n: I’m so excited to be starting this series! Honestly when I had this idea, I really only thought I could fit it into a oneshot, but as I kept writing I realized that wouldn’t be the case as I have so much I want to fit into this story. I went back to check the animation in the last episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc to see if Tanjiro had a Red Blade or not. There are a couple moments when the early light of the sun gives it a reddish tint, which is a very touch, but it's still a black sword. Then as he strikes Hantengu, it's full on Hinokami Kagura effects, but it's still a black sword. Then, for one very, very brief instant as it hits Hantengu's true neck, it does flash with the tell-tale sign of a Red Blade. Tanjiro achieved it for a split second without Nezuko's help.

But why was I checking?

BECAUSE I DON'T THINK HAGANEZUKA-SAN EVER ACHIEVED HIS DREAM OF SEEING A RED BLADE AND I AM SO SAD FOR HIM

Both the art in the middle AND Killer himself was created by @rahafwabas! I love the rendering and the overall menacing vibe Killer gives off in this drawing holy cow. Back when I was more into AUs I never really learned much about Killer, so for this board I looked more into him and he honestly seems really cool! I wish I read about his story back in the day! Found out he likes cats and I felt like that was important to include... Please let me know if they're uncomfortable with this stim board!
