So... Q!Baghera has some sort of attachment issues with Q!Philza, many things she has done so far are:

having her house close to his, using the karaoke machine as an excuse to visit, throwing a temper tantrum in front of philza like if she was a child, and making a tunnel that connects her to a room under his home. I'm going to take this information and use it for the Caged birds au, the final connection I needed to explain as to why Baghera had to escape the federation labs alone, and the start of her abandonment and attachtment issues... I got sillyyy-

Yayyy!! Yippee!! I finally get to make one of these!! Art without the text under the cut and some long-winded elaborations:

How long I've been playing: well, it hasn't been a straight 11 years, rather off and on - but I have drawings of these guys dating back to when I was 14, so I'll give it to me. And man I had no business reading the fanfics I was reading back then It's also crazy how this was a super influential media for me in so many ways. It's the reason I ever made a tumblr, it changed the direction of my drawings for a long while, my broken sense of humor (gmod animation memes and yt poops were the brainrot back then), tf2 Sniper changed my god damned gender (rather, it was the inspiration for me to start socially transitioning at 15). This is part of my personal lore that I tend to not admit to 😓

Your main: I've always been completely ass at the game, and I can play flexibly, but I enjoy playing Sniper, and more recently as Heavy. Whenever I'm sitting around somewhere, occasionally throwing sandwiches and attracting Medics, I feel like this:

Favorite character: When I was younger it was definitely Medic, and I think you can tell that he's still up there based on how much I've drawn him! However, since getting back into it, I've felt quite a shift in focus towards Heavy, very strongly. It's unfortunate that he's side-lined in a lot of fanwork, and I think I'm also complicit in this so far - but for me it's cuz, how tf2 works is that it's going to prioritize humor over character and consistency haha, and Medic is just so loud and insane that he's really easy to make fun stuff with. Heavy is a more serious and grounded character, not to say that he's not funny or that he doesn't have his own cartoon slapstick moments! But that aspect of him is what is really really intriguing to me. I love his quiet, stoic, and intimidating character, I like how loud and boisterous he is when filled with bloodlust in contrast! I love his bird story and him getting into wrestling as a child from Poker Night. I love his back story setting, there's so much to extrapolate from a young boy in Russia growing up during WWII, what his parents must have been through before that from the aftermaths of the revolution, all the way to his fathers execution and his imprisonment. I love his strong relationship with his family, his role as an older brother, as a protector, as a man - the way that he performs these roles - and because I personally see him as bisexual - how his orientation intersects with all that! He is incredibly fascinating to me and I wish that he was played around with more to see a lot more corners and angles of these things that I listed! There's way more that I want to say here too but this is getting very long 😅

Character I relate to: It's so interesting that a lot of the characters have very strong, tho maybe dysfunctional, families. Heavy, Demo, and Sniper in particular really speak to me in that relation. From Heavy being an eldest brother (I am also an eldest sibling) the parentification that comes with that, especially with him probably being like 10 years older than his sisters from the looks of it. Demo and Sniper both struggle living up to their parents expectations (although there's a lot of love there from everyone), being disappointments in one way or another (not gonna deep dive into that lol), and the general alienation both of them feel. From Sniper not knowing why he's not like other Australians to Demo being "a black Scottish cyclops." And well, I'm Filipino, I'm queer, and mentally ill so - there's a lot to project there!

Class you want to play as: I find Medic incredibly stressful to play as but I find the idea of battle medics incredibly funny. However I usually find myself rushing around madly trying to cater to everyone, and I'd like to just not give a shit and just start stabbing people with a saw lol

No but fr, they're really compelling to me, I'd probably need a longer more thought out post as to what I like about them and I was already going crazy up there ^ Overall tho I like that they're practically built for each other in terms of mechanics, really plays into my desire to spiral into intense codependency haha. I also think that Medic's drive to cheat death and hide behind meat shields plays really well into Heavy's desire to be a meat shield and a protector, and how nice it is in turn, that Medic can grant this man who's been around death, starvation, and war invulnerability. (He outsmart boolet, yknow?) They're also depicted together a lot and I like how much they enjoy each others company, and bring a lot of joy to each other. It's beautiful to me :'^)

Akutagawa is a trans gay man

Atsushi is bisexual

Akutagawa fell when Atsushi told him “In my opinion, Dazai-san recognized you a long time ago”. Atsushi fell the instant Akutagawa died for him, because that's the first time he started considering him human (the fell first / harder of this thread).

When Dazai told Akutagawa “you know the reason yourself, don't you?”, the implied reason both of them knew about is that Akutagawa loves Atsushi.

Akutagawa is / was romantically in love with Dazai

In his free time, Atsushi reads and often visits the public library (this is canon, but stretching and reiterating)

In his free time Akutagawa sews. He doesn't like reading.

In chapter 87 it was specifically Atsushi to land the blow that killed Fukuchi (and not Akutagawa) because Akutagawa was still holding to his promise not to kill

Atsushi can cook (and he's getting better at it!), Akutagawa mostly can't

To their own surprise, Akutagawa is way more willing to touch and cuddle than Atsushi is. Atsushi really isn't used to physical touch, and it takes him a long time to adjust.

Akutagawa sleeps 5am-11am or later (I know it's technically 3am-5am but man I don't want to curse this guy to sleep for two (2) hours every day of his already miserable life). He is the night owl™. I like to think he'd be a sleepyhead once he's found a place he can *finally* feel safe in, which is something he never had, but y'know. Generally this.

Either way, both of them are insanely light sleepers

Excluding external conditioning, Atsushi and Akutagawa are perfectly equal in (overall, not physical) strength. However, Atsushi prevails over Akutagawa in canon because of the effect All Men Are Equal has on him. The same goes for Akutagawa in Beast.

When they're alone together, Akutagawa does most of the talk; which is still not an exceptionally big amount, but still more than Atsushi, who acts strikingly different in comparison to the usual overchatter and chaotic rambler he is with other people.

After they get together, Akutagawa keeps calling Atsushi “Jinko”, while Atsushi will probably shift to calling Akutagawa “Ryuunosuke” at some point. I don't see either of them using pet names.

Atsushi's love language is words of affirmation, Akutagawa's is acts of service.

Both of them highly dislike pda. They try to keep their relationship secret as much as possible.

Atsushi would have been very non overprotective / laid back if it hadn't been for The Incident (Akutagawa dying in front of his eyes). Now he has an hard time leaving Akutagawa alone.

You think you've read a champions revival fic before? This will have you saying "how the FUCK have I not seen this before" and completely change the way you view everything (mild exaggeration. m i l d). We have all of your favourite revali tropes: being a dick and getting owned, being a dick and being right, getting own and never showing those feelings to the light of day, getting killed, getting unkilled and loved, showing emotions but being super weird and revali about it, bonding with tulin!!, bonding with teba and the rest of rito village, bonding with the champions, having panic attacks and trauma, vah medoh being the best ever, being a terrifying force of nature, being an idiot kid, and so much more!

Do you like grumpy dad teba? Do you like revali swallowing his pride? Do you like revali immediately spitting his pride back up and being a bitchy bird? Do you like mipha and revali as gossip buddies? Do you like the complete and utter fool revali makes of himself everytime he so much as hears the name link? Do you like people seeing right through his facade and calling him out on it?

AND NOT TO MENTION THE WORLD BUILDING??? this fic is so in depth of the political climates, racism, lore, changes in culture during times of war, colonisation, biology of the races and just fucking everything?? It adds so much life to the world of hyrule I am genuinely shocked at how much this person clearly loves these games (botw/totk/aoc) and they are able to incorporate all of this amazing information in a way that flows so naturally and just hhrnngngg I am fucking insane about it. THE SCIENCE, oh my god how did I forget all the wonderous thoughts surrounding the divine beasts and the sheikah tech, oh god and how they write the magic system? Guys I swear it's so good.

Characterisation is on point, everyone feels so full of life and that they are reacting exactly how you would expect them too, and they just seem so real, like they are right beside you as you're reading. The author does an IMMACULATE job of drawing you in and making you feel a part of the story, all the while being just beautifully written?

Don't get me started on the attention to rito culture. I have never seen someone pour so much love into something before, genuinely on of the greatest things I've seen. I've always had a fascination over how the races of hyrule view each other, similarities and differences, how their cultures and histories intertwine, and conflicts that may arise. But oh. my. god. My jaw was on the floor every time, it's so rich and beautiful but not without the horrors (and oh god, they are Horrors tm) and again it's just so real!!!

Be warned, however, that there is gore and viscera and terror and hurt and war crimes and death (duh), but for each terrible thing to happen it is repaid tenfold in love and kindness somewhere down the line. (Unless you are into hurt no comfort, then sorry buddy!) It is a beautiful narrative and the exploration of trauma and self is mind boggling and just go read it!!! 😭 😭 😭 I just love this fic so much, it has instantly sky-rocketed to one of my top 3 favourite fics I've ever read, and I'm so grateful to have found it and now be along for the ride that if I could bring that to one more person then by god I will fucking do it

i’m overthinking this a little too much but a thought i had as soon as i knew the band was gonna be on stage is that the narrator MAY interact with them in some way, and now like, i’m thinking, WHAT IF, look, WHAT IF the narrator is somewhat connected to the band, i don’t know how to formulate my thoughts but it’s something like they share ideas or something. the narrator is like “oh yeah this is the moment for the music go on with it” or something like that if you understand me. but like, what if trying to say is that that the band and the narrator are connected.

The narrator already knows the story, so the relationship between him and the whippoorwills COULD make sense cuz it’s would be like a connection to call the whippoorwills as omens. the band knows the story thanks to the narrator.

working on a signalis/2001 space odyssey crossover au since im really fixated on 2001aso and enjoy the world and characters of signalis, might dump lore and such here for it eventually but its mainly only hal because I just wanted to draw him as a replika and it spiraled into this lol. . .

HALR aka Halberd or Hal (don't have any real good ideas for what the german in the acronym would stand for yet as I do NOT speak a lick of german) is a replika based off HAL-9000 from 2001aso. I kind of stretched the replika naming standards for this because I couldn't find any good birds or bird names so I just resorted to the first bird I knew starting with H, the hawk or goshawk (sorry talk tuah fans). also he's named after and uses a halberd because it sounds like Hal Bird and im funny like that. halberds are also sick as hell and can counter falke spears which I thought was cool.

purpose-wise he's basically a sigma male merge of LSTR and FKLR units with both of their specialities combined, i.e. the ship maintenance skills and "stoicism" of LSTRs and the combat prowess and Bioresonance of FKLRs. He does pretty much everything HAL9000 does in 2001aso, like controlling the entire Discovery and maintaining navigation and the hibernaculums while engaging with the crew (or just Dave lol). my reasoning for his deployment over another LSTR unit, besides just being an upgraded and more capable variant, is due to his strong biores and use as protection.

in an earlier period of the world (I'm not too confident on the timeline in tandem with the actual game including the whole ariane dream situation so like. Alternate Universe Split Timeline or whatever) the Nation ends up being the first to secretly dig up the Tycho Monolith and trace the emanating signal to a far off planetary system. this prompts the designing of a replika that can handle both prolonged space expeditions and any potential conflict it may encounter in a first-contact mission with alien lifeforms. as far as the public and Hal's crew on the Discovery are aware, he really is simply just an upgraded high-end alternative to LSTRs. they're a big scary corporation of course they wouldn't want people including the literal pilots and scientists to know they're looking for aliens lol.

ALSO, he utilizes biores to basically form the same connection and hold to the ship as HAL9000 does in the form of a sort of halo or "crown" of flashing cords that trail behind him, connecting to his back and upper arms and flickering in and out of existence like half tangible processor threads. modified HAL terminals on the discovery walls act as anchor points for him to connect to and fully immerse himself in the workings of the ship, this makes his crown spread farther and fully tangible (I hemmed and hawed with my friends about the colors they'd be because gold wouldn't really make sense so I just ended up using technical difficulties aka my pride flag). he can also manifest his cool trusty red halberd as means of protecting his crew, though he will of course take great pains to keep peace among other lifeforms.

I think thats about all I've got so far, uhh some quick facts: he's 8 feet tall, 245cm, could probably beat falke in a fight, anchoring stabilizes his persona and singing and flowers degrade it (had to shoehorn in daisies somehow), his pixel logo is based off the USAA logo from the space odyssey film jumpsuits, he/its pronouns, and he and dave WILL be kissing. android sesbian lex and robot say gex solidarity 🤝

Vesuvia Weekly; Nettle Memory (Rowan and Julian)

i had many forces working against me while i was writing this but i got it done💪 the word count is about 1,3k. i'll be honest this is based on that one time i was at summer camp and fell off a big ass hill because my bicycle chain fell off and instead of braking i just plummeted down. i was giggling like crazy while one of the caretakers was helping me from under the bike, it was insane. also i used to get stung by nettles so often when i was little because they grew all around my old apartment.... but anyway. love mixing mine and Rowan's lore

I've been keeping a dream journal for as long as I can remember. Literally. At first it was all little doodles, then clumsy strings of words, then less clumsy sentences. Dreams might not always be the most reliable sources of information, but they're all I had at the start. Among the usual night fantasy nonsense and gibberish, I'd get vivid glimpses of mostly quite mundane activities—walking on a stone path, eating a pastry, watching the clouds—as if looking at the world through someone else's eyes. Even though I was sure they were real memories, they never felt mine. But I kept track of them regardless, and the records stacked up over the years. A bunch of crumpled up notebooks with barely legible, drowsy writing. Descriptions of dreams for me to keep instead of my actual lost memories.

I open my eyes with a shallow gasp and instinctively reach for the beat up journal under my pillow, not even thinking to summon some light before I start scribbling down my latest vision in the early morning dimness of the bedroom.

There was a meadow— or a forest? A lot of grass anyway... Another person, my aunt I assume, since they're picking something from the greenery. My hands start itching and I wake up.

I put the pencil to my temple in contemplation, ignoring the dull throb in my head. I've recreated scenes from my dreams to try and jog my memory further before, and stinging nettle shouldn't be that hard to find. It grows practically everywhere, even though I never cared for harvesting it before. It's supposed to make a mean tea. Ah, that was probably what the dream nettle was for—

A cool hand on my forearm snaps me out of my racing thoughts and I turn to see Julian looking up at me with tired eyes "What was it this time...?"

"Stinging nettle. You don't mind getting off work early today, right?" I murmur back to him and bite the inside of my cheek, highlighting some keywords on the paper and doodling the distinctive leaves of the plant.

"Not at all, no..." he yawns and slowly pushes himself up into a sitting position, shaking stray feathers out of his hair from the still sleeping birds on the pillows.

"You could grab some for the clinic you know. It's anti-inflammatory and a bunch of other things... I'll have to check later." I shove the notebook back under my pillow and notice that he's already on his way out of bed, "Wait, don't get up yet, it's early—"

"Too late, I'm awake now. You write really loudly, you know..." he grins and kisses the top of my head, "I'll get started on some breakfast. Coffee for me and chamomile for your poor head."

"Right, thank you..." I sigh out and lean back against the headboard, instantly reminded about the brewing pain behind my eyes.

And so we've been walking for hours trying to find that wretched plant, having trailed off deeper into the forest than we have ever needed to before. It seems like even having two birds along wasn't to my advantage. I bite down on my lower lip in frustration and look up at them flying overhead.

"I was so sure it was still in bloom..." I grumble, leaning against Julian's side with a small disappointed scowl.

He wraps his arm around my shoulders as I slump against him in defeat. "It has to be, right? It's barely autumn— We're either very unlucky today or our lovely familiars have gone blind." he snarks, and holds his free hand up to his forehead, shielding his eye from the sun as he observes them.

"You say that and then you complain that Malak is constantly grumpy with you... Don't poke me, I'm right!" I jab my pointer into his ribs and he squirms away petulantly.

"I was trying to show you that they're circling! Ready to find out if it's just a bunch of shiny bugs again?" he lets out a laugh before hoisting me to stand upright and patting my back encouragingly to move forward, making me stumble a bit, "Try not to fall on your face. Please."

I turn head to smile at him wryly and start walking ahead of him, heading forward to what looks like a clearing among the trees. The sun shines right into my eyes as I trot toward the border of the treeline. I take another step and my whole body tenses up as I feel that I've lost my footing.

I instinctively cover my face as I fall forward and can only try to tumble down what feels like a steep hill with enough grace to not seriously injure myself. My back meets even ground quickly enough and I sit up slowly with my head still spinning. I feel more dizzy than hurt, but then I already hear Julian's alarmed yelling.

"Don't try to stand, I'll be right there!" he shouts from the top of the steep hill I just rolled down from and bolts off to find a spot where he can actually get down from to meet me.

Bluebell lands on top of my head with a screech right as I begin looking around the meadow area I tumbled into. My bag stayed on my shoulder but the gloves I had in my pocket seem to have fallen out somewhere along the way. I spot them lying right among the grass and... My hands instinctively shoot upward, earning a quiet scoff from the magpie that occupied herself with sorting out my hair.

Julian quickly comes running to my side with Malak perched on his shoulder but falters when he sees me sitting with my arms up in the nettle patch "God, I know you must've been excited, but to leap from such a height—" he gets cut off by a bark of my laughter, it quickly turning into an uncontrollable fit of giggles.

"Have you seen the way I just plunged down that hill? Pfhaha, oh my arms burn so bad..."

He kneels at my side with a slightly concerned expression, the raven hopping off of him to check out the plants "We should probably get you out of here... Do you feel like anything's broken? Is your head alright?" he asks with a vague smile, trying to get a look into my eyes.

"No, no, I feel fine! I just really missed this feeling— OW, don't touch there!" I recoil with a breathy chuckle when right after grabbing my face he touches the reddened area on my neck.

"It's hard to believe that you're not concussed when you say things like that. Besides, we all know you're going to be scratching at these blisters yourself in no time." he remarks and sighs in relief softly "Let's get you on your feet now, come here..."

He makes a point to help me up really slowly, even though I'm quite sure that I would know if I broke a leg on my way down. Once I'm standing steady, he turns my face towards the sun to check my pupils again.

"Not concussed. Promise."

"You also promised me not to fall on your face. You almost gave me a heart attack, Rowan..."

"You'd hear Bluebell freaking out from miles away if I actually got hurt! Now could you please pick some nettle leaves so we can go home? I'm dying for a long cold water soak..." I scowl faintly as the adrenaline of my tumble wears off and I can suddenly feel the burns and bruises clearer than before. Even though he already crouched back down to pick out a few full plants briskly with his gloved hands, he seems to have noticed the slight change in my demeanor.

"...Yes, I can carry you back." he mutters with an ironic smirk but snorts when I all but pump my burnt fist in the air with a relieved smile.

Hybrid chocolate toxicity question(s).

The avians can’t have it, I’m assuming the dog hybrids (Ren and clan) and the cat hybrids (Lizzie) can’t either… how far does this extend? Can Etho eat chocolate? Can Doc? Can Joel?

Additionally, theobromine (the compound in chocolate that is toxic to most companion animals) is also present in tea, cola, and coffee. Do they have to avoid those as well?

Finally, how much does the human hybridization affect the tolerance for theobromine? Humans have about a million poison immunities (because we’re insane and we eat anything), which is the reason why caffeine and theobromine don’t kill us like most other animals. Let’s say a dog hybrid does eat a whole bar of baker’s chocolate. Is it cardiac arrhythmia, kidney failure, and seizures, eventually leading to death over the span of 36 hours? Are they feeling like hell for a week and then fine? Dogs have a slow mechanism for the removal of theobromine, requiring an unusually long hospitalization time for theobromine toxicity (compared to other poisonings). Are dog hybrids also down for the count for that long? Does the human hybridization make it less long?

I really hope you don’t mind the way my vet med brain just went off there, but I’m so curious as to how your world works.

I just made the birds not eat chocolate because it was a bit I read in several other Avian/wing fics and I thought it was funny…and yeah I do intend to make it canon that Ren also can’t eat chocolate…but as for like what actually would happen to him if he did I was just gonna imagine it like a severe allergic reaction, like if Ren did eat chocolate he’d just be laid out like he had really bad food poisoning for a week but it wouldn’t, like, kill him or anything unless he ate a stupidly large amount.

Finished KnH vol10 !

This was definitely one of my favs?? It felt so long and complete, I loved the pacing and how it was structured.

Characters like Rikuson, Basen, Lihaku, Chue, Tianyu and Lahan’s brother (god knows if we will ever discover his name.. what a shame!) getting more spotlight was really amazing I really enjoyed seeing their dynamic together, I hope we will get even more of it in the future!!

Basen

Basen getting his character development arc thanks to ducks was unexpected but definitely NEEDED! His bond with ducks and mostly Jofu was hilarious and really unserious but it fits him so much😭

The little meetings between Lishu and Basen were adorable, I love the route the author is taking for their relationship. They desperately want to be around eachother it really couldn’t be more obvious!! Thats how soulmates are, however they both decided to continue going their separate ways for now in order to become the better version of themselves. They need to grow up, mature, and gain experience and work on themselves for their distinctive reasons. Hopefully by then Lishu will be over the age of 18 and things will work out between them.

I still have to talk about our stubborn man Basen, I appreciated reading the insights of his mind, getting to know more about how he sees some things from his perspective along with his takes on them. He thinks he has nothing really valuable about him outside of his brute strength but he’s much more than just a strong soldier to me. Regardless of his stubbornness he’s a very loyal and determined man, he stays true to himself while still getting the job done neatly and proudly because he has full trust in his superior.

Moving on to MISS CHUE!

Where do I start..? She’s SO likeable, there’s so much things to love about her

As Maomao said she’s VERY characterful, and I must say its true that she doesn’t look like a married woman with child in the slightest!! She’s very unique and silly, her presence during this volume made things so much more enjoyable to me. She stands on business while keeping her silly side (except when her mother in law glare at her…) She’s smart, quick witted and have a wonderful personality? ALL IN ONE nobody does it like her

She’s just in her own world, and I absolutely LOVED how she handled things with Maomao from the beginning to the end. Their dynamic was to die for, I remember Maomao being weirded out by her in vol9 but I knew she’d get along just very well with her she just needed to give it some time, I CALLED IT!

Chue being married to Baryou is absolutely insane to me, I mean just finding out Baryou was a married man was shocking but imagine my reaction when I found out Chue of all people was his wife? They are polar opposites and this is why Im in desperate need to know more about their relationship… Chue keep talking about hanky panky with him and I just can’t picture that at all..? Maybe Baryou do have that dawg in him after all regardless of his social anxiety heh

In conclusion Chue is hilarious and easily one of my fav characters of this volume, thank you miss chue for making this volume an unforgettable and unique reading experience for me!

Now its PLOT TIME

This volume was really an exceptional one, its just the beginning of the western capital saga but the result of the set up that has been happening for the last two volumes is perfect.

I’m a sucker for the lore of the windreaders and the whole thing revolving around politics: The empress regnant, the Yi clan and their connection to the windreaders along with them committing subterfuge with Shaoh. The ritual to prevent plagues involves domesticated birds, Shaoh being involved in this whole thing just couldn’t prevent me from linking it to the white lady. I talked about it here in details, this is all very suspicious but EXCITING!!! Gyoku-ou is clearly the one pulling the strings behind this chaos and scheming things in the absence of his father. I talked about it already here while reading the volume and the latest chapters just justified my doubts.

Chapter 8 was one of my favorites, Nianzhen’s story was very dark and sad, it lead us into thinking him and his tribe annihilated the whole windreaders tribe but it turned out to not be true after the CRAZY informations they gathered thanks to Kulumu in chapter 13 (which btw was also one of my fav chapters), everything and everyone seem to be somehow connected.

Jinshi being used by the shameless Gyoku-ou, and Gyokuyou being toyed with… I’ll start reading part1 of vol11 but like Gyokuyou said in the epilogue her fight is just getting started so we’re in for s long ride !

Chemach: Scourge of the Gods?

"...She is changed, alarmingly so, the mutilation of her body naught compared to the madness taking root in her mind."

 It's crazy the more I analyze Chemach and their maddness the more the setting of COTL makes sense.

"Whispers reach my temple. Gods fallen, shrines crumbled, Followers taken, and Crowns simply gone."

 Chemach's temple is chock full of god parts, relics, and makeshift followers. She has a cobbled together crown that seemingly doesn't work, likely made from stolen crowns.

"...I asked, what of her duty? What of the Crowns? What of her very nature?

And the smith answered: it is lost."

Her nature as the "Crown Maker" was lost or she was unable to make a divine crown for herself through "conventional" magic means due to her nature as a First God descendent.

Chemach would likely not know how to even be a Crowned god. Their role is tied to mortals and an innate ambition for...more. Followers, power, influence etc. Things that were never in her perview as a member of the Bird Trio.

In her insane state she resorted to stealing crowns and followers but her "creator/maker" aspect manifested in the form of mutilating both to make something 'uniquely' her own. 

 Chemach could have been imitating their behavior as they made a name for themselves. Warring and conflict etc. But without a "creator" to rekindle their numbers they were effectively wiped out.

 But her motivation for culling the Crowned gods could be many.

 Maybe Chemach was jealous of the more established Crowned gods. Those that had longevity and amassed a large following. She seems like a jealous person, always comparing her artifacts to her brothers' and denigrating them. This could be why she kept killing until only five (six technically w/ Haro) crowned gods remained.

Context

There was a change to the Lore tablets that removed the old faith as the cause of the god purge.

Without clear contexts of the cause of the gods disappearance, to me, there's a lore hole in the history of the setting. I'm not sure if this was intentional on the devs part but...

also, this is going off the premise that both Winn and Kara are autistic, it's canon because I said so I have lists you can fight me on this

Winn

Realistic: Winn is notably the only analyst (in the main cortex at least) that wears dress clothes instead of uniform. At the beginning he really did try to stand the uniform, but he ended up convincing J'onn to let him off because he just couldn't deal with the feeling of it on his skin.

Hilarious: Being the only human member of the Legion of Superheroes, Winn got asked A LOT about human culture. A blatant lie that originally stemmed from being asked the same ten questions a billion times, snowballed into a complicated lore about humanology and Gods and belief systems (because he was too embarrassed to admit to the original lie) and he ended up being the accidental cause of organised religion in the 31st century.

tldr: Winn Schott manages to shitpost his way through space and time

Also, he's asthmatic as fuck. He has to carry an inhaler in his bag and he hates it.

Awful: He hates the smell of teakwood and tobacco because it reminds him so viscerally of an abusive foster home that it genuinely makes him physically anxious and nauseous.

Unrealistic: He's actually really good at handling spicy food. He's even out-performed Alex a handful of times.

Lena

Realistic: Lena actually really hates chess. She hates how everything needs to be calculated properly, how everything needs to be thought out exactly, and it just reminds her too much of how she was brought up.

Hilarious: She has a peanut allergy. Similar to Winn, she has to carry an epi-pen in her bag. This is not public knowledge, of course, because that would probably bring her quarterly assassination attempts up to weekly.

Awful: Lena can only fall asleep with a nightlight- she isn't really sure why, all she knows is that her bed feels less like frigid, murky water when it's on.

Unrealistic: She doesn't know how to cook or how to drive. Her whole life she's had people cook for her and drive her places, so she never had to learn how to. She'd like to one day, though.

Kara

Realistic: Kara LOVES dinosaurs. She didn't have birds on Krypton, which implies either all the dinosaurs were wiped out, or there never were any in the first place, and she was immediately enthralled and fascinated by them when she first learned about them.

Hilarious: She's dyslexic. She relies on Grammarly like it's lifeblood.

Awful: She's insanely afraid of thunderstorms. It takes everything in her not to have a flashback or a panic attack or a meltdown, and she will point blank refuse to patrol if it's storming.

Unrealistic: After Red Daughter was killed, Kara's heat vision stayed permanently purple, and her eyes were purple too for a very long time afterwards.
