has anyone fucking noticed that the name they gave to the band in Cinderella’s Castle is THE WHIPPOORWILLS??? LIKE THE BIRDS???

the birds that are known for their singing???? the ones that are recalled to being death and bad luck omens???

the goddamn BAND is named after that damn bird know for singing as a sign of bad luck?????i swear to god if i hear the singing of that bird in at least one song in Cinderella’s Castle (or even as underscore or anything) i will literally go insane oh my god

Are whippoorwills related to the lore???? are they important to the story??? cuz thanks to the livestreams we know that the band will be on stage. so like. i’m going crazy right now.

i’m overthinking this a little too much but a thought i had as soon as i knew the band was gonna be on stage is that the narrator MAY interact with them in some way, and now like, i’m thinking, WHAT IF, look, WHAT IF the narrator is somewhat connected to the band, i don’t know how to formulate my thoughts but it’s something like they share ideas or something. the narrator is like “oh yeah this is the moment for the music go on with it” or something like that if you understand me. but like, what if trying to say is that that the band and the narrator are connected.

The narrator already knows the story, so the relationship between him and the whippoorwills COULD make sense cuz it’s would be like a connection to call the whippoorwills as omens. the band knows the story thanks to the narrator.

i am very aware that none of this is likely to be real in the story, but this is what happens when the autism goes crazy over a name of a band
