"British Columbia's Human Rights Commissioner, Kasari Govender, called the anti-LGBTQ marches “hate-fuelled” and said while peaceful demonstration protects democracy and generates debate, the human rights of the trans and LGBTQ community “is not up for debate.”
She said in a statement Tuesday that an inquiry by her office showed almost two-thirds of LGBTQ students don't feel safe at school, compared with 11 per cent of heterosexual students, and attempts to erase them from school curriculums are hateful.
Worthman said politicians, too, “should be louder” about their support for the LGBTQ community, and against individuals who seek to further marginalize members.
Clint Johnston, the president of the BC Teachers' Federation, wrote a letter to B.C. Premier David Eby about the union's concerns about the planned protests.
He said they're part of a co-ordinated attack against the trans and LGBTQ community.
“These rallies are part of a movement across North America that uses 'parental consent' as a dog whistle for rising homophobia and transphobia. This movement is concerning and must be stopped,” he said in the letter.
In response, the premier said school must be a place where every student feels secure and it's upsetting to see misinformation and disinformation used to attack vulnerable children and youth.
“Without hesitation, I denounce threats, hate and violence against 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. We are seeing a concerning rise in incidents where trans people are being targeted with threats and violence in person and online,” Eby said in the statement."

It’s that time of year again, to remember that the Salvation Army is an anti-LGBTQIA+ hate group that uses its tax-free donations to fund discrimination and bigotry.

When you see a man actually talking about the actual basic human rights of discriminated against men, & your responce is to shut them down by likening them to an MRA incel, you're not being cool & woke, you're saying the same shit as radfems & run of the mill sexists.
MRA does not literally mean 'activists for men's rights', MRA was/is a movement of creepy reddit incels who wanted state assigned girlfriends & said that was 'men's rights', or saying that men deserve more rights than women, that is why they suck, not because they're talking about men's human rights.
MOC & Transmascs & Immigrant men & male abuse victims & disabled men etc. talking about their rights or lack thereof & how being a man factors into it for them are not your enemy & are not MRAs, they're literal activists for men's literal actual human rights.

Jesus Christ California.
The administration were texting each other about how Jews were colonizers by nature and scheduled hearings on the curriculum on Passover to keep Jews from finding out. It wasn’t even subtle. They texted about their plans and insulted the colonizer brain of a Jewish guy on the panel. Please read it. It’s old school racist.
Oh and they didn’t want Hamas labeled as terrorists because it’s dehumanizing.

Science has shown that the brains of Conservative thinkers are wired to experience and express heightened importance of
FEAR and Disgust. [this in NO way excuses their actions/deeds]
Because they focus on Fear and Disgust; these people feel that anything different is So Outrageously Upsetting - they become terrified and MUST 'fix-it'. This is what drives a Conservative thinker's behaviour. This is what drives 'moral panic' and 'xenophobia' and 'bigotry'.
These people live un-examined lives, and allow their reptile brains to dictate their actions...
In North American White Supremacist culture- we get pearl-clutching morality, puritanical agendas, and gun-toting 'preppers'. Fox News provides them 'justification' to explain their feelings.
They're living out their 'worst-case' fantasies and (mostly) unconsciously driving toward the "end of the world". USAmerican Fundamentalist Xtianity is a Rapture Culture.
These people are expecting the end of the world! Therefor they do not need to be accountable to a future. The want the anxiety to stop! So they're dragging everyone and everything with them. [because they are living for a promise of the idyllic Heaven- where are the bad and scary feelings will go away]
So within two days of each other, Fox News writes an article comparing aromanticism and asexuality to pedophilia, and then Matt Walsh releases a video saying asexuality is a mental illness and asexuals are tricking teenagers into having depression.
Not sure what’s going on right now over in Conservative World, but it’s a hell of wild U-turn for them to suddenly switch from “Oh no! The left is sexualizing our children!” to “Oh no! The left is asexualizing our children!”

so this is .. still happening.
"We've seen mounting antisemitism, racism and xenophobia globally and in our own backyard even," said Nina Krieger, executive director of the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre. "The Holocaust speaks to, really, the possible consequences of hate left unchecked."
VideoInherited trauma: Growing up the child of a Holocaust survivor
In the spring of 2022, Jewish advocacy group B'nai Brith released its annual audit of antisemitic incidents. It found sharp increases in anti-Jewish hate crimes, including beatings, vandalism of synagogues and swastikas in schools across Canada.
Antisemitism in Canada at record levels in 2021 with surge in violence, audit finds
The audit said British Columbia experienced a 111 per cent increase in incidents from 2020 to 2021 — from 194 to 409, including 56 cases of vandalism and 296 incidents of online abuse and hatred."

I think one of the major reasons the goyische left is falling fast down the Jew-hate rabbit hole recently is that they know antisemitism is bad, but not the how and why besides Discrimination Is Bad And Also The Holocaust Happened. Unlike with other minorities who's history and culture they actually give a shit about, they've never really bothered with learning ours. They don't know the history of pogroms, they don't know the timeless pattern of Jews being the scapegoat, they don't know of Jewish history in the levant and the middle east, they just don't know their shit when it comes to us since let's face it, we've never mattered as much to them as other minorities. And that's how we get a new wave of antisemitism, tropes and conspiracies galore, but with a progressive coat of paint. Replace Jews and Judaism woth a couple of buzzwords and you're fine! Because what is antisemitism? It's hating Jews, there couldn't possibly be more to it. You don't hate Jews on a conscious level, do you? Then you're not antisemitic, congratulations! Actually bothering to learn our history and culture would hit them with the hard truth that antisemitism doesn't just come out of nowhere in the 1930s and it isn't just nazi germany or the white supremacist who lives down the street, but rather the most timeless, subconscious and insidious form of bigotry that no one, no one is immune to.

Remember my hill about soft science professionals? Currently watching Cultural Anthropology and Sociology communities have a meltdown as their support of recognized terrorist groups and their rhetoric has led to consequences.
They’re also openly equating the terrorist groups with countries and their civilians.
e.g. “Hezbollah are part of the Lebanese government, like it or not. Say LEBANON. This is LEBANON. They’re not bombing “Hezbollah” they’re bombing Lebanese civilians & lands.”
This sentiment was shared by a cultural anthropologist at the University of Chicago who has been overtly antisemitic, tries to hide it behind anti-Zionism, and actively engaging in historical revisionism. Said professor openly denies that terrorist groups are terrorist groups and supports them wholeheartedly.
But it’s the Jews Zionists who are bad when they openly question why a professor who says such things is teaching young adults.

Pay attention! A whole community is under attack. Stand Up! Push Back. Stop the Hate.
This is so far beyond "canary in a coal mine" levels of threat. The whole Coal Mine is ON Fire!
Because I'm only seeing other Jews posting about this, non-Jews I need you to be aware that for the past month or two there has been a wave of bomb threats and swattings at synagogues all across the US. They usually do it when services are being livestreamed. I haven't seen a single non-Jew talking about this. High holidays are coming up in a few weeks, which is when most attacks happen against our communities. We're worried, and we need people to know what's happening to us.

On the eve of (the latest) most important election of our lifetimes, Mira Ptacin tells the story of the journalists, World War II veterans, rabble-rousers, lumberjacks, and policymakers who, when he tried to build a training compound for fellow fascists, ran a neo-Nazi out of rural Maine.
Issue no. 156, "The Crash of the Hammer," is now live:
Once he’d settled in Maine, Hammer kept his followers abreast of his progress breaking ground, frequently posting photos and uploading videos to Telegram. There was Hammer standing next to a pile of freshly chopped wood, snowshoeing through the forest, holding a beer in front of a bonfire. Followers saw him cradling an AK-47 in his arms. (Caption: “All this Slavic war training in the Maine woods has me exhausted!”) Hammer posted footage from a celebration he held with about eight of his followers, where he claimed they sacrificed a goat. Another clip showed Hammer helping a man in a balaclava slice the palm of his hand as part of an initiation ritual.
Hammer appeared excited, optimistic. He was careful—or thought that he was careful—not to reveal his exact location, lest it attract unwanted attention from his enemies, including the media and the FBI. If people wanted to join him at the compound, they could get in touch directly.
But unbeknownst to Hammer, he was being followed. A longtime Mainer was determined to wipe the smirk off the neo-Nazi’s face.

I seriously, genuinely despise it when people call someone who walked into a traumatic situation to validate themselves "fetishizing/romanticizing the pain of those who actually have to deal with those things".
Like, do you think that the person intentionally attempting to get hate crimed is doing it because they're just so bored of being treated with dignity? Do you think the woman who tries her hand at rape baiting is just trying to "spice up" a healthy relationship to sex? Do you think the kid who gave themselves an eating disorder on purpose just "loved the esthetic" of being mentally unwell? For fucks sake, nobody intentionally bastardizes a perfectly good life. People who do extreme stuff tend to have extreme reasons, and you should help them instead of fucking them over even further. Fuck off.
Edit: oh and also, I forgot to mention. If you see someone intentionally traumatizing themselves in a way most people get traumatized unintentionally, no you DON'T get to "sympathize with what brought them to this point yet also call out the way it harms those who are actually vulnerable". Your focus when you see someone doing something that more often than not amounts to a form of self harm should never be why they're also a bit of a bad person even if you don't think they deserve it.
