leftists about other minorities: "just because you don't actively hate a minority doesn't mean you're immune to being bigoted, there's always internal biases to unpack."
leftists about jews: "whaaat?! how could I possibly be antisemitc??? I don't hate jews! I'm anti-bigotry! I'm a Good Person!"
leftists about other minorities: "always listen to minorities when they say something is bigoted."
leftists about jews: "don't listen to anyone telling you you're being antisemitc, israel and (((the zionists))) are weaponizing antisemitism to shut down criticism!"
leftist about other minorities: "of course bigotry against a minority should be defined by the people of said minority and it's important not to talk over them."
leftists about jews: "actually it's not antisemitic to say (conspiracy theory)/(blatant dogwhistle)/(repackaged blood libel)!! don't let any Bad Jews™ tell you otherwise!!"
leftists about other minorities: "no, having friends or family from a minority doesn't make you not bigoted. that's literally the oldest excuse in the book."
leftists about jews: "and before anyone starts throwing accusations no I'm not antisemitc, I know many (like 3) jewish people and they're some of my closest friends (I see them at the grocery store sometimes)."
leftists about other minorities: "obviously no people are a monolith, and a person from a minority can still be bigoted or have internal biases towards said minority. it's important to consider who you're speaking with."
leftists about jews: "so obviously since all jews are born with every single piece of jewish knowledge ever I can totally use this very convenient culturally christian ethnic jew as a token for my argument against a person who was raised culturally jewish and knows extensive jewish history."
leftists about other minorities: "we shouldn't center ourselves in historical events of other minorities."
leftists about jews: "I would've been a brave hero who hid jews during the holocaust, which was actually about queer and disabled people because why do the jews get to hog it all to themselves?!"
leftists about other minorities: "it's cultural appropriation to use this word belonging to a minority, you're robbing it of it's history and meaning."
leftists about jews: "(uses zionism incorrectly) (uses zionism incorrectly) (uses zionism incorrec"
leftist about other minorities: "skin color doesn't define ethnicity! there are plenty of white-passing black people, brown people and more!"
leftists about jews: "jews are literally just white people. all the jews I know irl are ashkenazi and light-skinned, what other proof do I need?"
and these are just a few of the double standards I've noticed. feel free to add.

Trisha Paytas 🧚🏼✨🐠👄👩🏼👩🏽‍🎤🦹🏼‍♀️🧝🏻‍♀️🧛🏻‍♀️👑👗🐃
Trisha Paytas had so many errors this is why I put all the different emojis because she defines them. Got traction of Trisha I can’t quite remember maybe one of her podcast but also the H3 podcast where I really paid attention and the Vlog squad., she got relentlessly bullied by Jason, she relentlessly triggered him and had her BPD make her aggressive, he constantly made her feel fat and we’re going on about food constantly. I wonder if he’s got any Capricorn ♑️ in the 6 house.
In those videos, it seems like she’s having fun and was, I guess she was on a lot of drugs too probably prescription, but David always had fun relentlessly teasing people and doing things like jackass almost and then causing an accident like Jeff which is really sad, he has no empathy he is a proper narc, and Jason was a leech, he needs his bacon and his bacon.
Going onto Trisha, one that made me pay attention to Trisha was a 31 when he did Instagram versus reality, and a lot of it was Mongeau and Trish, to which Trisha reacted really badly, so then she came onto the H3 podcast and had her point of view at all, which then the birth of Frenemies, which was an amazing thing, I feel like people with BPD, even Trisha someone so rich and famous probably has it more, getting picked on?…….. and she definitely did H3,,,,,,, and hila , Ethan and Hila, tell Trisha how they really felt about a video and how it gives young girls and realistic views. They also roasted her on her video and said that she wasn’t really transgender and she didn’t get paid for that video. Trisha said she didn’t get paid .
Was having none of it he knew that she got paid for it he knows what YouTube, don’t show anyone please don’t show anyone, he did and he told everyone that she got paid for it, Trisha plays this game, and she has a Taurus and never very good at that, Aquarius, in Gemini she’s very good, and her mercury and Gemini she even went on Britain’s got talent, and did like his spoken word type thing as the fastest talk she even did it on Ellen, it was unbelievable she could, Trisha had lived many lives, she is in the start of tears dry on their own by Amy Winehouse directed by David La Chapelle . She was in we made you. By Eminem.,,, playing fat Jessica Simpson, at the time I thought I was really fat and I looked at her in the video and I thought oh my God, I’m her size I’m really really fat. She was also in a program modern family I think., Stanley even turned her into a superhero. She was my strange addiction., for her addiction to tanning and tanning beds and sunning, on the Logan Paul podcast she said was a lie. But she said it was the tray and she did have a problem. Trisha Paytas is kind of like Courtney Love you have to truth and lies.
And you don’t know, which is which, sometimes it’s the other times it’s not, I believe she has been diagnosed with BPD and her behaviour gives histrionic and BPD,
Became famous really for being the third one of the first YouTubers starting in 2006, I’ve Vlogs out unedited, which made her so relatable kind of like Tanner Mongeau often says Trisha was her influence, a lot of my things sitting on the kitchen floor crying, or acting strange it was mainly crying and the latest man she broke up with him why?, There’s a channel on TikTok called the contradictions of tradition you can see where she’s lied about things, it could even be lies or drugs some drug addict are compose liars, trust me I know because I am one I’m not saying I do it, but some people do it relentlessly it’s almost like they can’t help themselves.
Trisha is now married with two children, she never thought she could have any kids, didn’t think she’d meet a nice man like Moses I know we don’t know what goes on behind, but he really seems like a good one. He does all our videos with her and he’s really kind. You can see the kindness in the man’s eyes., when you can’t have kids, you’re always comparing yourself to people around you and what age they got pregnant and how long do you have left?. and that’s what I’ve done with Trisha. She had two children very close together Malibu and I only had the other baby.

Speech by Vice President Harris at a Gila River Tribal Nation Event - Arizona
Tumblr media
THE VICE PRESIDENT:  Hello, everyone!  (Applause.)  Hello!  Oh, please have a seat.  Please have a seat. And to the Governor’s mom and the aunties: Hi!  (Laughs.) Well, it is so wonderful to be here.  And I just want to thank everyone for the — just the very warm welcome that my husband Doug, the Second Gentleman of the United States, and I have received.  It means so much to us, and it means so much to the President, that we are able to be here with you to thank you for the partnership and the work that we have done and will continue to do together. Governor, I want to thank you in particular, because we have seen each other now a number of times.  You — we were proud, my husband and I, to receive you at our home.  And — but, importantly, your leadership and your work and your partnership has been tremendous.  And so, I thank you for all of that and, of course, for the introduction you gave me this afternoon.  (Applause.) I also want to thank all the Tribal leaders who are here, the young Native leaders who are here.  (Applause.)  You — they are truly an inspiration.  I was able to meet with some of the younger leaders before I came out here, and when I look at them, I know the future of our world is so bright. I’m also grateful for the veterans who are here with us — (applause) — many of whom just met with the Second Gentleman of the United States, my husband, Doug Emhoff.  And — (applause) — he’s the first Second Gentleman of the United States.  (Laughs.)  (Applause.) But on the point of the meeting that you had, the — the veterans who are here, those who have served, it’s an extraordinary aspect of the history of the military.  Native Americans have served this country in every major conflict in the past 200 years.  (Applause.)  And today — and today, Native Americans serve in uniform at the highest rates of any population.  (Applause.) So, as Vice President, I thank you for your bravery and for your service.  And I thank everyone for joining us today. So, President Joe Biden and I believe that the bonds between our nations are sacred.  And we believe we have a duty to safeguard and strengthen those bonds, to uphold our trust and treaty obligations, to honor Tribal sovereignty, and to ensure Tribal self-determination. On that point, it is a special honor to be at this beautiful school today.  Hila River was the first Tribe to partner with the federal government through an innovative leasing program to build a school that is fully Native-built, Native-owned, and Native-run.  (Applause.) And as the Governor said, I have worked with Native communities my entire career.  I know projects like this are a representation of self-determination and a symbol of sovereignty. President Biden and I also believe that we have a duty — a duty — to address the deep disparities that persist across Indian country. Disparities that are the result — and truth must be spoken — disparities that are the result of centuries of broken treaties, harmful assimilation policies, displacement, dispossession, and violence. And we have a duty to make sure that all Native people have the opportunity to thrive. To do so, we are committed to make sure all Native communities are places of economic opportunity. In this community, in every Native community across the country, there are people with big dreams for the future — people with the ambition and the aspiration to start a business, own a home, get an education, start a family. But turning a dream into a reality requires — when we’re talking about economic opportunity — requires access to capital and financial services, home loans, small-business loans, lines of credit.  (Applause.) And as we know, many Native communities are cut off from these essential, essential resources.  In fact, Native households are more than three times as likely to lack access to traditional financial institutions. So, to address this inequity, our administration, President Biden, and I have invested more than $500 million in Native entrepreneurs and small businesses.  (Applause.) And we are investing millions more in community banks.  Now, community banks — community banks — it almost speaks for itself: community banks.  It’s about the community.  Community banks predominantly operate in overlooked and underserved communities.  And they are run by people who live and work in the community that they serve — people who know firsthand the incredible potential in the community; people who understand the culture of the community, the language of the community; and people who then work every day to realize the potential of the community. So, since taking office, the President and I and our administration have invested hundreds of millions of dollars in community banks that serve Native communities.  Institutions in Arizona like the Hopi Credit Association, which recently provided funds to a Native-owned coffee shop so they could invest in better kitchen equipment, new furniture, and more storage space. In partnership with communities — and, in particular, with Native communities — we are also addressing the climate crisis.  This is something I spoke with the young leaders about before I walked in. Every year, the land your tribes have long called home have increasingly been threatened by wildfire, drought, and floods.  Native peoples have served as responsible stewards of our environment for millennia — for millennia.  (Applause.) And in order to create enduring solutions to the climate crisis, we must then rely on the knowledge and the experience of Native communities.  And that is why we are investing billions of dollars to help fund Native-led — not Native-consulted — Native-led, climate-resilient infrastructure projects.  (Applause.) Like the projects you are leading here at Gila River — projects to replenish groundwater, to build a new water pipeline to ensure reliable access to clean water, and to reduce dependence on the Colorado River. Together with Native communities, we are also working to protect the freedom to vote.  (Applause.) In our democracy, the freedom to vote should be sacred.  (Applause.)  Every eligible voter has a fundamental right — right — to cast a ballot and make their voice heard. But we know — (applause) — but we know, for Native Americans, that right has been hard fought and hard won.  Native Americans were not universally granted U.S. citizenship until 1924. Even then, in many states, Jim Crow-style laws and policies denied many Native Americans access to the polls.  And today, we know that barriers to the ballot box still persist. Soon after taking office as vice president, I convened a meeting on voting rights with Secretary Deb Haaland and Native American leaders, including Allie Young, a member of the Navajo Nation. Those leaders told us in no uncertain terms that the Native vote is under threat.  Polling sites are too often hours away from where Native voters live.  Ballots and voter information are too often not available in languages they speak.  Postal service is irregular.  And the use of Tribal IDs has been denied. President Biden and I will continue to call on Congress to pass the Freedom to Vote Act, the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, and the Native American Voting Rights Act.  (Applause.) Together, these bills would set national standards for voting, such as two weeks of early voting; drop boxes in convenient locations; same-day, automatic voter registration.  (Applause.) For example, we have heard from many Native leaders — it was part of the conversation we had in my office — that it is so difficult to even register to vote because there is not an in-person registration site in the area or because they do not have access to high-speed Internet to register online. So, to help more folks get registered to vote, we are also working to put voter registration sites in Indian Health Service locations.  (Applause.)  Yes. In addition, we are well on our way to connect every hi- — household with high-speed Internet, which has been a high priority for us.  (Applause.)  And for so many, the point was highlighted during the height of the pandemic. Since taking office, President Biden and I are proud of the progress we have made in partnership with the leaders who are here.  And we know we have much more to do.  We must continue to fight to address the urgent crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous people.  (Applause.)  I feel very strongly about that. We must continue to fight to make sure all Native people — in particular, all Native young people — have the mental health resources they need — (applause) — including uplifting their voices and encouraging them to talk about it, knowing that it is a sign of strength to seek help.  (Applause.) And we must continue to defend the Indian Child Welfare Act.  (Applause.) So, I’ll share with you a personal story.  So, last month, I hosted — at the home, Governor, where you visited — I hosted a dinner for the newest members of Congress, including Congresswoman Mary Peltola.  She is the first Alaska Native member of Congress.  (Applause.)  And she is a champion for all Native communities. And so, that particular day — by coincidence — that same morning that I was hosting the dinner that evening, that same morning was the morning that the United States Supreme Court rejected that attempt to gut ICWA.  (Applause.) And — and that night, then, as she arrived at the house, she and I just shared a special moment, because we both understood what these attacks have meant, the failure to enforce the rules have meant, the failure to prioritize this — what it means. And so, she — she and I basically shared, we hugged, and we talked about it, a moment of profound relief and celebration, knowing the significance of this victory for Tribal communities and Tribal sovereignty; knowing, for centuries, Native children were taken from their families and community in violation of basic human rights.  And it was an attack on the very existence of Tribal nations. So I celebrate, as we all do, what happened at the Court.  But when you read closely the attacks and how the Court ruled, let’s be fully aware of not only the essential protection that ICWA provides, but also understand that whatever gains we make will not be permanent if we’re not vigilant. You know, years ago, I was the head of the San Francisco city attorney’s division on families and children.  And I worked on many ICWA cases.  And as Attorney General of California, I partnered with Tribal leaders and child welfare agencies and — and others to enforce ICWA. So while we applaud the Supreme Court’s decision, I am very clear-eyed: We know this will not be the last threat to this very important law.  And we must continue to work together, and we will work with Native leaders, to safeguard the protections of ICWA.  (Applause.) And with that being said, together we will continue to work together in partnership toward a future where all of our children can realize their God-given potential, a better future for this generation and seven generations to come. In that fight, together we will work to continue to strengthen this partnership, to count on your leadership, and to work together in support of our common cause. So may God bless you, and may God bless America.  Thank you all.   Sources: THX News & The White House. Read the full article

BLM Donation Shorts: Ethereal Music
@thindol requested a Zaria fic for their BLM donation featuring Zaria’s powers. Not specified Gabriel x Zaria
You lounge across the couch—white, the only person you know who has white couches, another one of the underpinnings of her wealth—watching as Zaria sits down at her harp. She looks to you, studying your languid repose with a sharp eye.
Getting her to agree to this had been a trial. But you want to hear her, the actual her, not the human veneer she puts on. She’d warned you of the effects, and you’d accepted the risks. You’re not a mortal after all.
The first step isn’t entirely pleasant, a sort of dislocation of your energy within your shell. It’s not enough to slip outside of the fleshy protection of your skin, but it’s enough to let you passively access more of your Grace, enough to hopefully protect you from the mind-altering effects of her voice.
Long fingers dance across the thin wires, and at first you don’t hear anything, but you can feel it, resonating along the edges of your Grace. Closing your eyes, you lean into the sensation, and slowly the sound swells in your ears as you adjust your auditory receptors to hear the appropriate frequencies.
It takes a touch more of your power than you probably should be using, but surely the low-level power you’re giving off will go unnoticed. If it isn’t, well, you’ll have your evening interrupted by either an extremely irate guardian angel overseer, or some other uninvited guest.
Her strumming is loose, the sounds beautiful but not forming any sort of coherent piece. Opening your eyes, you can see the tight line of her mouth, the only sign of her nervousness. She’s good at closing herself down, at hiding her thoughts and feelings behind an impassive mask. Society has taught her to hide herself away, to be practiced, perfect in every interaction. More-so because a single lapse, a moment of anger could easily have major repercussions. Sauti ya hila weren’t a populous race, and few resided in this plane, but there’s a reason humans fear sirens.
“You won’t hurt me.”
Her eyes flash to yours, wide with surprise that she can hear you. You’d pitched your voice to the same range as the harp string, startling her.
“Suggestion is… a powerful tool. We are meant to… prey on those who hear us.” She’d told you about how she’d fought with her mother to spend time on earth, to live and work here. How her mother had considered it perfect for honing her hunting practices.
How she’d muzzled herself, how she’d swallowed her words as much as possible. Stay quiet, work hard. But she spoke in other ways, with her body, with the way she dressed, with the written word.
“Oh, am I your prey now? Kinky.”
She snorts, one side of her mouth twitching up in an unbidden smile. It’s not as good as her full-blown smile where the white of her teeth flashes against her dark skin, her whole face lighting up with joy, but it’s a start.
This time when she caresses music from her harp, the sound has purpose, sliding into a soft, deep lullaby. After a few stanzas she begins to sing, an ethereal, haunting sounds that bypasses every safeguard you’d put in place. The sound builds, swells within your chest and though the lyrics are nothing you understand, no tongue spoken by the native inhabitants of earth, you know what the words say.
Your eyes fall obediently closed as her power washes over you. You can’t fight it; there’s nothing tangible to push back against. Who doesn’t want to close their eyes for a bit? Let your worries drift away to be replaced with the echoing chords. You find yourself humming along, impossibly, to this song you’ve never heard before, a smile curving your lips.
The urge to tell her how exquisite her playing is passes, replaced by a knowledge that it’s better to sit quietly lest you disrupt a single note of this masterpiece. That would be a trespass not easily forgiven, since she’s deigned to give you a personal recital.
Somewhere in the deep, infinite recesses of your soul something stirs, a warning, a discordant cry that clashes horribly with the peaceful waves of sound washing over you. But like an undertow, before you can surface you’re pulled deeper, drowning in the song.
A hand shakes your shoulder and you stir, brow furrowed as you stare up into a pair of anxious violet eyes. Amethyst, some might say, but not the cloudy version you see most often. No, this is like the deep purple of a geode cracked open, pried from the depths of the earth but glowing within.
Her hand points at you and then her thumb moves in a circle, and though you’re fluent by this point it still takes a moment to process her question.
“Yeah,” you croak while nodding, your voice dry like you’ve been out for hours. In fact, you feel like you’ve rested for days, though you have no recollection of falling asleep. Her shoulders sag and her eyes close, the tension bleeding from her features and leaving them slack.
Reaching for her, you cup her cheek, waiting until her eyes open again. Love you, you mouth, refusing to let go of her face and your other arm too weak with lingering drowsiness to move.
She sighs, shaking her head.
“That was a dangerous request,” she signs, her eyes narrowing to convey her displeasure.
“I’m fine,” you repeat, sitting upright and signing back.
Her lips purse and you know she disagrees with that statement. It’s why she wears contacts more often than not. It’s why she hates to speak unless absolutely necessary.
“You are no monster.” Not human, certainly not, but neither are you. And she doesn’t hunt humans. When she uses her powers, sparingly, begrudgingly, only when all other avenues have been exhausted, it’s for the greater good.
She has a human heart, you think.
And, while it might be the lingering effects of her voice—it’s interesting to note how easily she affected you, and you wonder if it’s because of your relationship, since Sauti ya hila usually appear as exquisite specimens of humans, the better to lure them in and then devour them—but of all the ways you’ve contemplated your own ending, dying to nourish her isn’t such a terrible fate.
“I know. But power is a temptation, and I prefer to avoid unnecessary temptations,” she signs back, her motions subdued, small and tight. “Let’s not do it again.”
“I had a good nap though,” you reply cheekily as you coax her into sitting on the couch beside you. “And I like listening to you be yourself.”
She shakes her head, folding her long limbs onto the couch like a tulip closing its petals at night as the light fades. “That isn’t me.”
“But it is part of you, Zaria. And I don’t want you to feel like you ever have to hide any part of you from me.”
She leans forward, pressing her forehead to yours, pushing until you’re once again flat out on the couch, Zaria hovering over you.
“You are so sappy,” she signs, and then leans down, letting her lips spell her love out against her skin, her hands finding new chords to play, evoking fresh notes from your lips.

Quote
Esu Emmanuel©, The soul... when it wants to dance, the soul leaves the body through the hands, the mouth or the gaze... and seeks, among all the things it encounters, the closest to its throbbing. Sometimes it is singing, sometimes the spoken word, sometimes it is trying to eternalize moments on the white of a canvas or in a photograph, but always dance... dance and dance... because it feels alive. Create art, create madness, create symphonies with shades of prose or poetry; it spins emotions between letters with which it strives, in an almost incredible way, to describe what has filled it with happiness to the point of making it leave that body that stuns it; the same one that doesn’t let it suddenly live, because it is too emotional and innocent for the reality in which it has had to exist. However, it doesn’t cease... it doesn’t tire... it doesn’t give up its desire to feel, because feeling is the panacea of its magic, of that mystical energy that makes it ether before dense matter.

AESTHETIC SIDEBLOG     ∕    PLAYLIST
BASICS.
Given / Birth Name : Y'Mera Xebella Challa Nickname / Preferred Name : Mera, My Queen Alias(es) : Aquawoman Birthdate / Age : 26 June / Thirty-six Place of Birth : Xebel / “Dimension Aqua” : an extradimensional penal colony of Atlantis Current Location : Amnesty Bay, Atlantis Gender Identity : CIS Female, DFAB Sexual / Romantic Orientation : Morosexual / Panromantic Ethnicity / Race / Cultural Heritage: Atlantean / Xebellian, no one is entirely sure where the bridge to Xebel exists and it is often confused with the Bermuda Triangle. While this one path towards it, the more frequently used ( and the one accessible to Mera ) is located in the Indian Ocean, where there is actually a deeper history of wrecks. Split between the two, her appearance evokes this. As such, Mera’s ancestors often influenced the religions of ancient civilizations due to association with electricity and water ( Ixazaluoh, Atabey, Varuna ).  Marital Status : Married Occupation : Queen of Atlantis / Crown Princess of Xebel Religious Beliefs : Polytheism is generally practiced among Atlantis / Xebel, Mera herself takes on a more “okay boomer” approach in regards to this, oftentimes bemoaning the clutter in the ocean caused by their dumbass relics. Essentially, Mera tends to believe in herself above most else and her devotion is to that as a ruler, or rather to the ocean she works in tandem with.
CHARACTERISTICS.
Height : 5′2″ Weight : This bitch is dense. Body Type / Build : Ectomorph / slim & toned Eye Color : Dark green / sometimes blue or white ( when chatting with Her... the ocean ) Hair Color / Texture : Red. Though her hair appears full and voluminous, it is coarse to the touch, she really does just luck out that it dries like that.  Recognizable Features / Scars : She has tattoos up her hands / arms which look incredibly similar to henna, signifiers of her mastery of the various levels of Xebellian / Atlantean socerery ( they only appear when she is practicing. Additionally Mera has a few scars ( shoulder / abdomen / back ) from battles involving Tritan and Orm.  Speech Patterns / Accent : While on the surface, Mera tends to speak in proper english. There is a hint of an accent, though being that it is not of the world it can’t exactly be placed. Mera tends to speak on the slower side, as she is not one who likes repeating herself.  Languages Spoken : Her default is Atlantean or English, though she is capable of speaking all languages of the world ( it’s a whole thing ).  Powers / Skills / Abilities : Atlantean Physiology ( amphibian nature, enhanced vision, enhanced hearing ); superhuman durability / speed / reflexes / stamina / agility / strength; hydrokinesis / liquid construct creation; low-grade telepathy ( can’t read minds but can communicate / typically works best in water ); ocean sensory ( can feel disturbances in the ocean ); water sense ( knows / communicates with bodies of water ); master combatant; historiographer; leadership Overall Health : Peak physical health
RELATIONSHIPS.
Order of Birth : Eldest Number of Siblings : One Father’s Status + Relationship : Ryus ( father, alive ). Though Mera was deeply devoted to her father all throughout her childhood, the affection could not be considered mutual. Expectations of her to rule a kingdom she was taught to also be disgusted by, along with his eagerness to marry her off / train her to be a queen assassin ultimately showed her his true colors. That being said, he was the greatest influence on her in her most formative years and her skills as a warrior and sorceress. She has made attempts to be the bridge between Xebel and Atlantis, making some strides in the area however his resentment over loss of control in his weapon has caused a bit of friction.  Mother’s Status + Relationship : Circe ( mother, deceased ). Young enough when her mother died, Mera holds no memories of the world. She does, however, hold the sound of shells gifted to her upon coming of age as her most prized possession. Lammia ( paternal grandmother, deceased ). Mera’s maternal influence came from the Dowager Matriarch of Xebel. Mera held great affection for her grandmother and learned all skills as a politician through her.  Sibling Status + Relationship : Hila ( identical twin sister, alive ). Their relationship is complicated -- with Hila having a rebellious nature and tendency to kick up trouble wherever she goes, though ultimately they do love each other.  Loyalty / Affiliation : Atlantis, The Justice League.
PERSONALITY.
Astrological Sign: Cancer Sun, Capricorn Moon, Taurus Ascendant  MBTI : INTJ-A Hobbies : Playing instruments ( flute, harp, Arthur taught her how to play piano ), Crowned Queen of being able to drink Tom Curry under the table.  Bad Habits : Extremely picky eater, bickering as a love language Three Positive Traits : Dutiful, righteous, ambitious  Three Negative Traits : Short-tempered, stubborn, pretentious Moral Alignment : Neutral Good
ASSOCIATIONS.
One Song : She’s Always a Woman - Billy Joel.  One Quote / Piece of Art : Ocean Goddess - Jennylynn Fields. / “ She carries herself like a god. She is a composed ocean of waves that could become turbulent if you test her. ” One Fear : Losing the people she loves / incompetence   One Strength : Leadership One Object : Shell of sounds, from her mother.  One Place : Amnesty Bay Lighthouse One Food : Mango One Scent : Saltwater One Lucky Charm : Her engagement ring.
NOTES.
Born the Crown Princess of Xebel, a prison-kingdom known for active rebellion against Atlantis, it was banished to another dimension long before Mera was born. The people of Xebel are scavengers as a result ( it helps that the ‘bridge’ to this dimension lands in the Indian Ocean, whose warm waters have caused a lot of wrecks over the years ).
Sticking with movie canon, Atlantis is on a more feudalistic set-up
Mera’s betrothal to the next King of Atlantis ( Orm ) had been set before her birth. This was an effort to alleviate tension / build a pathway back towards Xebel reclaiming some glory.
Her mother died shortly after childbirth, Mera was thus raised by her father with help from his chief taskmaster, Leron and her grandmother Lammia.
Luck of the draw would leave her, the elder of the twins, tasked with winning over a kingdom inclined to look at her as a Princess of Garbage while her own domain began to mistrust her for spending her time in Atlantis. While following the traditional route in studying the power of hydrokinesis, Mera would also frequent the kingdom she was set to rule.
She was able to build a close relationship with Atlanna in this time, one of the few who ever accept Mera completely. And it is through this, as well, that her subsequent banishment became a defining moment in Mera’s life.
Her training as a warrior came to head at her coming of age, to prove herself worthy of being a queen. Tasked with killing the only other claim to the throne, she was sent to the surface.
It. Did. Not. Go. As. Planned.
A confusing series of dates later, Mera began to soften to the cause of the surface world and become more disillusioned to her place among her own, while encouraging the rightful heir to accept his place in both. Mera became a key advisor, and eventually was unburdened with the task of marriage by way of diplomacy.
Her placement in destroying the reign of a true Atlantean didn’t win her many friends in a kingdom whose nobles barely accept her, but she made due.
( And would you look at that, she ended up marrying a King of Atlantis after all, regardless. )
After two back to back wars defending Atlantis, Mera was coronated to begin a long reign of monarchy on equal footing, something the kingdom had rarely seen.
Though she does split her time between Atlantis and the surface, her priority is typically her kingdom. Mera takes her duty as a queen extremely seriously.
She joined the Justice League not long after Arthur, having proven her loyalty to the safety of the world as opposed to being a figurehead for the wills of the elite in her own.
As such, her identity is not publicly known ( disdain for being labelled as a mermaid abound ) and her stance on the Accords is to be in direct contradiction. Atlantis’ status as relatively unknown allows for certain anonymity while operating in these efforts.

Altmeris Vocabulary from Summerset
Regarding Altmeris: The Altmer would probably say that their language is named Aldmeris, considering their obsession with all things Aldmeri, but we need some way of differentiating it from the language spoken by actual ancient Aldmer, so I’m using Altmeris for now.
Profanity and Pejoratives:
(I.E. swears and insults. I know why you’re here.)
Slek - Profanity. Both an interjection and a pejorative, likely high intensity. Probably equivalent to "shit" or possibly "fuck." Examples: "Slek, my head hasn't hurt this bad since..." "May that slek thank her ancestors that she won't have to face me in battle."
Glan'nt - Profanity. Pejorative, likely moderate to high intensity. Probably equivalent to “bastard” or “asshole” or “motherfucker.” Examples: "I promise to duel that filthy glan'nt at the determined place and time." "These glan'nts think they can double cross me?"
De'nt - Profanity. Pejorative, likely mild to moderate intensity. Probably equivalent to “jerk” or “asshole.” Examples: "I know some of us here in Summerset have been true de'nts about this open border situation." "Are you going to look or are you going to buy? I have no time for de'nts in my shop." "Those Maormer de'nts have certainly done their part."
Ephem - Someone who isn’t Altmer. Probably pejorative, likely mild intensity. Possibly short for “ephemeral”, as a reference to someone with a short lifespan. Examples: “Get away, ephem. Away from me. Away from our island!” "These ephems have taken all the rooms." "If our crafts are left to the work of ephems, our reputation will grow tarnished." "If the ephems didn't want entrance processing to take so long, they could fill out the forms in advance."
Nebarra - Pejorative, likely moderate intensity. Literal translation: “unwelcome.” Impolite word for outlander. (The Altmer equivalent of the Dunmer "n'wah".) Examples: “You know what that word means? The one the High Elves call us? 'Nebarra.' It means 'unwelcome.'” “And now a damn nebarra is standing close enough for me to smell it! Well, nebarra? Speak up!” “Nebarra? Well, I suppose that's our word for the newcomers. I guess you could say it's impolite, but old habits can be hard to break.” “With all the nebarra in Alinor, it's no wonder the hunting has gotten worse.”
Forms of Address:
Barra - A greeting. Literal translation: "welcome."
Cerum - Gender neutral honorific probably equivalent to “sir” or “ma'am.”
Ceruval - Gender neutral honorific probably equivalent to “sir” or “ma'am.” I suspect it is more respectful than cerum, but that’s just inference based on usage.
Altmeri Cultural and Philosophical Concepts:
Alaxon - State of perfection. Example: "An Altmer concept practiced widely here in Summerset. Alaxon is the state of perfection that every High Elf strives for. The Path to Alaxon represents the approach we take to achieve that state."
Oegnithir - "The bad change." Example: "Membership in the Psijic Order will bring you both prestige and power. But such honors often lead to oegnithir—the bad change. What you do in the Order's name, you do for others. Never yourself."
Aprax (Singular, "an aprax elf"; plural, "apraxics") - Someone who has been outcast from society and banished for crimes. Members of society are forbidden from talking to apraxics. Similar, but not the same as ousters. Examples: “I'm what the clods in the kinhouses call an apraxic—an Elf criminal. There are other High Elf misfits called ousters, but the fortunes of an apraxic are a little more severe.” “He's not an aprax or an ouster, but he tries to act the part.” “If those surfacers know you're talking to an aprax, they might toss you out too.” “Apraxic Mer are people who, for whatever reason, were expelled from the greater Elven community. Most aprax labor for years to reenter society. Others choose to remain in exile.” “Rumor has it that a famous aprax called the Mother of Rats lives in the city, but I've never met her. Even if I did, we're forbidden from speaking with her.”
Apraxis - The state of being outcast from society and banished for crimes; exile. See The Price of Praxis for more info. Example: “Finally, she whispered the damning phrase, ‘Apraxis’ and let the sphere slip through her fingers.”
Calian, or praxic talisman - A symbol of a person's membership in Altmeri society. Possibly used as proof of ancestry. Physical descriptions of a praxic talisman from The Price of Praxis:
“At that time, the sphere was pristine—fashioned from milky aethequartz and sun-blown glass.”
“All the pride of my noble race found voice in its creamy luster.”
It is shattered if its owner becomes an aprax, and must be restored to allow return to Altmeri society.
“For thirty years, I labored over the shattered remains of my blessed calian. I spent the last of my gold gathering stone-cutting tools, pearl-powder fixatives, and sacred oils. I ate little and slept not at all. My beard grew long and my muscles withered. With each success came three new failures. And all the while, my fellow Altmer spurned and cursed me. Finally, one bright morning in Second Seed, I set the last delicate shard of glass in its place—returning the calian to its pristine origins.” — The Price of Praxis.
Calan - Possibly means the living members of a person’s clan, but that’s just conjecture based on context. Example: “My entire calan—mother, father, grandseers, and rumes—shuffled in their pews.” (Don’t ask me what “rumes” means, that’s the only time we ever see it used.)
Aednavorith - Genealogy. Example: "The monks of the Serene Harmony Monastery stand as the most renowned "Aednavorith" scholars in all of Summerset. The study of genealogy and ancestry remains a subject of endless interest to all High Elves."
Hulkynd - Literal translation: "Broken child." Altmer who were cast out of society as children because of some perceived imperfection or deformity. Examples:
Tableau: “High Elves strive for perfection in all things, and their bloodline most of all. Hulkynds are children abandoned by their families for some perceived imperfection, generally a physical deformity. They’re more than just orphans. They’re outcasts.” Player: “Outcasts? In what way?” Tableau: “In Summerset, family stands above all. They guide your life, almost immeasurably. To be without family is to be unseen, unrecognized as a member of our society. There’s not much of a life a hulkynd can make for themselves because of that.”
Manacar: “I have no family to shame, no name which to soil. I may as well be a shadow, for all the worth I am given. Society would rather ignore me than admit I exist. Of course, this anonymity allows me unprecedented freedom. A blessing within my curse.” Player: “Your curse? The fact that you’re a hulkynd?” Manacar: “Yes. I was rejected when I was but a babe. One look upon my face should tell you why.”
Valtarion: “Hulkynds have no sense of honor. It comes with being raised without a family, you know. That’s why no one trusts them.” Player: “What does having a family have to do with who you can trust?” Valtarion: “A family sets expectations. Here in Summerset, all we do is for our family’s honor. There’s no hope for someone who doesn’t have even that to guide them.”
Lilawen: “A mer without family cannot truly be considered a mer, after all. Why, he’s more than an outsider within Summerset. He’s truly nothing. A broken child can never hope to become anything more.”
Other Vocabulary:
Kynd - Child. Example: "Anyone is capable of anything. A snot-nosed kynd would murder his most beloved dog with a shovel if you gave him a good enough reason."
Canvaroth - Scout. Example: "I often serve as the Ritemaster's canvaroth... a scout, as it were."
Halsoriel - sewer. Example: “It seems he escaped into the vaulted halsoriel.”
Graxifalas - Extremely disgraceful. Example: “It is graxifalas—disgraceful on a scale you outsiders can't even imagine.”
Kamlehal - "Shrieking terror." Example:
Erudil: “I borrowed it from the Librarium Kamlehal to impress Glardir.” Player: “Librarium Kamlehal? What’s that?” Erudil: “The… uhm… Library of Shrieking Terror.”
Eluvein - Another name for the hilas owl, used to describe people who are cold-hearted or aloof. Example: “Eluveins lay their eggs, then abandon them.”
Adma'na - Poor listener. Example: "I'm what they call an adma'na—poor listener."
Criminological Technical Jargon:
Admanen - Literal translation: "the listening eye." One of three members of an examiner's quorum whose role it is to inspect and advise, collect evidence, interview suspects, balance competing theories, and in general provide a fresh perspective to an investigation. Example: “You would take on the duties of the admanen, the listening eye.”
Revelator-naganwe - Literal translation: "death seer." One of three members of an examiner's quorum whose role it is to use magic to solve crimes. Example: “I am a revelator-naganwe—a death seer. I use magic to solve murders.”
Thalmilan - One of three members of an examiner's quorum whose role it is to parse clues and render a verdict. Example: “Jurisreeves always travel in groups of three. A quorum comprises three distinct roles—a revelator-naganwe for magical inquiry, an admanen to inspect and advise, and a thalmilan to parse the clues and render a verdict.”
Riasen - A critical witness to a crime. Example: "The Sapiarchs classified him as a riasen—a critical witness.
Etymological Roots of Place Names:
Russafeld - "Russafeld means 'scarlet shrine' in some dialects of Aldmeris, which may explain where the Red Temple gets its curious name. But the most commonly held opinion states that it's a shortening or corruption of 'Dread Temple.'" — Loading screen for Russafeld
Tor-Hame-Khard - "In Aldmeric, the name means Warlord's Mountain Lair, as these vast halls were originally built in the early First Era for the legendary Prime Battlereeve Fiirfarya. One morning the estate's entire populace was found slaughtered, and thereafter the site was abandoned." — Loading screen for Tor-Hame-Khard
Ald Mora - Literal translation: “Old Forest.”
I came across more Altmeris words that were not defined, but these are all the words that I could find for which translation was provided, or there was enough context to infer a translation. All examples given above are taken directly from the game.

Quote
An 11-year-old girl named Hila wrote to Lewis and asked what Aslan's other name in our world was (mentioned in VDT). Here is Lewis' response: "As to Aslan's other name, well I want you to guess. Has there never been anyone in this world who (1.) Arrived at the same time as Father Christmas. (2.) Said he was the son of the great Emperor. (3.) Gave himself up for someone else's fault to be jeered at and killed by wicked people. (4.) Came to life again. (5.) Is sometimes spoken of as a Lamb... Don't you really know His name in this world? Think it over and let me know your answer!"

lyricsquotes.in is a best collection of song lyrics, album information and featured video clips for a seemingly endless array of artists Verses are words that make up a melody as a rule comprising of refrains and chorales. The author of verses is a lyricist. The words to an all-encompassing melodic creation, for example, a show are, be that as it may, normally known as a "lyrics" and their author, as a "librettist". The importance of verses can either be unequivocal or understood. A few verses are dynamic, practically incomprehensible, and, in such cases, their explanation accentuates structure, verbalization, meter, and evenness of articulation. They are for the most part Indias most well known Bollywood vocalists, whose prominence is around the world. While we have included a few tunes from newcomer vocalists likewise in this rundown. So how about we take a knowledge of 2019s new Hindi melody verses. Rappers can likewise make verses (regularly with a variety of rhyming words) that are intended to be spoken musically instead of sung.

59 Female Marketing and Growth Experts You Should be Following
Last week, one of my colleagues stumbled across a list of marketing influencers and shared it in our team's Slack channel. It didn't take long for someone to comment that barely one-fourth of the experts featured in the article were women.
These types of influencer round-ups are all over the web, but very few of them highlight more than a small handful of female leaders. This lack of inclusion is nothing new, but it got us thinking: Why not put together a list of awesome female influencers to inspire future, more inclusive round-up posts?
So here it is: a list of powerful influencers in the growth and marketing space who just so happen to be women. We hope this inspires you to recognize more women in your influencer posts, and expand your social networks beyond the expected sphere of male founders.
Before we jump in, it's important to note that this list is by no means exhaustive. These influencers were suggested by members of our team, and we encourage you to keep the conversation going on Twitter. Tweet at us to share a female leader -- big or small -- who inspires you.

Moira Jilani
`1.9.2017\
I have written before about it being open season on Palestinians.  I wrote about Moira whom I met at a march of the Combatants for Peace and the Bereaved Families. Read the report which appeared in Ha’aretz at the time about the death of her  husband. He was killed in exactly one of those incidents if one can call murder an incident
. I have always only read of  these cases and this was the first  time that I had spoken to someone to whom it had happened. She is now getting “paid out” by the Israel government. I rest my case.
Yesterday also there was the case of a Palestinian who hit a child (who has since died). It was reported as a  hit and run but some hours later (and there is the question why not immediately) the man appeared at  the police station and said that he had not stopped as he had been  scared  that it would be treated as a terrorist attack.
Moira told me that her husband had left the house saying to be ready for him in an hour or so when they were going to the sea. He did not come back and then relations started phoning her. She ran to her relations’ house even though she was in shorts and top which is not  the way one dresses in their neighborhood. There she was told of the death of her husband. Since then she has taken to wearing traditional dress and the hijab even though it is more difficult for her in the streets of Jerusalem.
Her husband knew he was dying because one of the witnesses said that they saw him moving his finger up and down which is the last confession of one who was dying. He was left to bleed to death as also has happened so often before. I was reminded of a South African friend of mine, Dov Katz,  who was at the Egyptian canal in the Yom Kippur war. For months he was posted as missing until they found his body. But one of the soldiers who had managed to escape said that as he ran past him he was saying the confession for those who are dying.
The report as it appeared in the paper is below.

Otherwise Occupied / Why they shot him in the head
The killing of a Palestinian, Ziad Jilani, by border policemen refuses to go away and has reached the High Court of Justice. Is every Arab driver in Jerusalem involved in an accident an automatic terror suspect?
By Amira Hass | Mar. 20, 2013 | 11:03 AM |  4
From a legal perspective you could begin by saying that the High Court of Justice judges have decided to examine the investigation file of two border policemen – Maxim Vinogradov and his commander, Shadi Kheir al-Din – who shot dead Ziad Jilani, a resident of East Jerusalem, on June 11, 2010.
The State Prosecutor's Office assessed the case files and decided not to file an indictment against the pair, who pursued Jilani and shot at him after he swerved out of his lane and hit several policemen with his car. They claimed they were sure this was an intentional attack and the driver was a terrorist.
The deceased's widow, Moira, and their three daughters, Hana, Mirage and Yasmin, petitioned the High Court of Justice with a request that would require the State Prosecutor's Office to explain why it had decided to close the case. The session took place last week, on March 13, and the State Prosecutor's Office was told to submit all the case files to Justices Edna Arbel, Uri Shoham and Yitzhak Amit by March 24.
This is an unusual, uncustomary step, as laypersons such as we can conclude from the surprised reaction of Kheir al-Din's lawyer and the slight hesitation displayed by the senior deputy State Prosecutor Hila Gorni.
Many laypersons filled the hall of justice – family members, friends, neighbors and the deceased's sister-in-law, who had come all the way from the United States to support her sister and nieces, who are all U.S. citizens. The father and husband who was killed had a Green Card. And no – no representative from the American Consulate attended.
There were also some Jewish members of the Parents Circle - Families Forum, a joint Palestinian Israeli organization (the Palestinians from the West Bank did not have entry permits to attend the hearing). Moira Jilani participates in the Forum's meetings, and says that they help her deal with the pain. Kheir al-Din sat for a short while on a bench at the back, and then left. Vinogradov did not make an appearance.
In non-legal language, the laypersons wondered:  Should every Arab driver in Jerusalem involved in an auto accident be treated as an automatic terror suspect and therefore killed as a terrorist? And is verifying the kill when a man lies wounded on the floor by shooting him at close range an integral part of police  instructions and therefore immune to prosecution? And are witness testimonies claiming that the police killed an injured man lying on the ground in cold blood, a man who was no longer a danger to anyone, invalid because said witnesses are Palestinian?
I first arrived at the scene of the killing at the East Jerusalem neighborhood Wadi Joz three days after Jilani's killing, when the widespread version in the Israeli media was that given by the police and the Border Police – a foiled vehicular terror attack in which the terrorist was killed. The contrasting version I heard from eyewitnesses was that of a border policeman who stood near a man who was lying on his stomach on the ground – having been shot in the back – and shot him again in the head at close range. The policeman then hit with his rifle butt the head of one of Jilani's relatives, who wanted to help the injured man.
In the meantime, the family contacted the Mezan Center for Human Rights in Nazareth. Its lawyers discovered that the Justice Ministry's department of investigating policemen did not collect any evidence from neighborhood residents. It did question three of the officers, under caution. The investigation department later said that the residents refused to talk to it.
The lawyers say that the investigation department only started to collect testimonies from neighbors after they made a request to investigate the cause of death.  So the body was exhumed and an autopsy was conducted. In initial interrogations, Vinogradov told investigators that he did not make the final, fatal shot.   Kheir al-Din said that he was the last to shoot. But when they reconstructed the events 18 days after the killing, they changed stories. Vinogradov admitted that he took the last shot, at close range, because Jilani – who was lying wounded on the ground – moved his hand and he feared that he intended to blow himself up.
An Internet search reveals several posts made by Vinogradov, fearless and full of vitriol against Arabs. It's not nice, but it's unrelated, the State Prosecutor's Office decided.
The two policemen's lawyers said the investigation was comprehensive, and that the SPO's initial decision was appropriate. The state's response said that the investigation did not rule out the possibility that the policemen were hit because Jilani temporarily lost control of the car. However, the state said, the policemen, who thought that it was a terrorist attack, acted in accordance with the rules of engagement when they chased after the car and fired at it.
The state argued that the pair changed their version of events due to confusion rather than dishonesty. Vinogradov's shot to Jilani's head did not lead to an indictment, because "it cannot be determined that there was a conscious decision to commit the killing…In the circumstances there is reason to believe that the shooting was a consequence of fear and lack of judgment… There is no reason to put [him] to criminal trial, since the opinion is that [he] acted lawfully…The decision by investigators and the prosecution not to prosecute [Vinogradov and Kheir al-Din] is based upon the assessment of evidence in the case file, which led to the conclusion that there is not a reasonable chance of conviction."
Justice Arbel interrupted lawyer Mohamed Agbaria, who presented the petition, when he implied that this indecision enabled racist attacks against Arabs.
To laypersons, it seems the judges felt uneasy by the fact that Vinogradov took a head shot and was not satisfied with non-lethal fire. Therefore, in an exceptional move, they asked to review the case file, "which means I have a few more weeks to hope that justice will be done", said Moira Jilani.
