Buddha and Neko are an extremely bonded pair of brothers who just turned 5 years old. They were originally adopted from FUR as kittens, but now need to find a new family because they were being bullied by the other kitties they were living with. They would prefer to be in a home where they are the only pets…other cats, and possibly dogs, being present may cause them PTSD from the previous situation. As the only cats, they are very sweet, snuggly kitties that enjoy being pet (even on their big bellies!) and they do love to play as well. They like being brushed, pouncing on feather toys, chasing crinkle balls, and most of all, cuddling up with each other and their person for nap time. They must be adopted together…we cannot imagine separating them after all they've been through and seeing how much they love each other! The vet says that they could each stand to lose a couple of pounds (Buddha is currently around 21 pounds, Neko is around 18), but they are otherwise seemingly healthy boys. They are currently on a portioned diet of Healthy Weight food, which will hopefully help them shed those pounds.

Just curious because I literally stumbled upon your blog for barely a minute and I’m already in love. Gyomei doesn’t get enough love so I was wondering how you think he’d react to a Neko demon who hunts fish and kills livestock and deer instead of humans. Like he was sent to dispatch the demon only to find out they are harmless to humans and more shy and afraid of him. Also the demon transforms into a big cat which is how they hunt but also turn into a little kitten when scared.

Ok, this really got the cogwheels in my head turning-

Headcanons

He’s going to be conflicted like he HAS to eradicate all demons but… it’s a cat…🥺

So, he ended up observing from afar as he try to convince himself to do the job.

He looks at the cat as he catches fish from a river, snatches some chicken from a coop, and hunts a DEER that’s at least 4 TIMES ITS SIZE. But never once did it eat humans.

Then there was a rogue leaf that landed on its head, which shook the neko demon so bad he poofed into a little kitten, with his sweetest little meows!!!

Gyomei would’ve gone to hold this kitten and lay in a puddle of his own tears if he’d introduced himself earlier!!!

Then there was a sound of thunder rain and storm, to which the kitten quickly ran to find shelter and trembled under some plants with big leaves (so tiny!!!)

After some time, we found Gyomei wondering what he should do with it, as he’s one hand deep in petting its belly.

Although the kitty doesn’t harm humans, it still ate some livestock, so there’s still a problem.

…He’ll take care of it.

But first, he asks his master Ubuyashiki for permission and guidance in a letter through his crow, writing down so many heartfelt pleas to not kill this adorable Neko demon.

To which his master replied: ‘If you find a way to not disturb the peace, I don’t see the reason to eradicate it.’

Gyomei is VERY TEMPTED to adopt this cat but given how it hunted a deer all by itself for dinner… maybe it’s not a good idea to take him home to live with his other docile cats.

He’s decided to visit this area often and give him more food in hopes of making it full and not going out to eat the livestock of the locals as much.

Gyomei is trying to teach it with graphics (with Genya's help) on good prey (wild animals) and bad prey (livestock) but with the neko demon only meowing back, there’s no telling if those lessons ever come to fruition.

Whenever he comes back to his estate after visiting the cat, his cats can smell the neko demon scent, get jealous, and furiously rub their body against Gyomei to take over the neko cat’s smell.

I think I’m gonna make a mini-comic out of this, but no promises!

Uncle DD called Uncle Jun that they are paying now in the hospital of pets "Serbisyo Betirinaryo" with Aunt Karen... So, they need to have tandem today that Uncle Jun should get the bodies of their puppies.... So, sad that puppies died...

We didn't expect that to happen... Really a heartbreaking story for all of us here...

My main point they should have extra for my needs coz Aunt Teresa told me that they will assist me for awhile....We got foodies at Clarissa'Z carinderiaZ and I got coffee there so hoping there will be no negative comment on me about my coffee...

I fee bitter and frustrated... We are struggling on budgeting but thank God for some angels who are just here and there...

I still wanna leave the hometown and get a job and have money, I feel bad I still can't buy starbucks everyday.... I still have sciatica and pelvic pain... I actually need a treatment on sciatica but Elsie is a good alternative that I have to maintain...

I have a windblow trap and feels that there are some people who are unfairly trapping my nose coz of their cavite-nose... But fake cavite-nose and some fake monkeyz on and off the screen...

Uncle DD is here and said they are on an article... Kinda irritated and brought us food here... So,cheap!

Gave 300 for the water,gloves and mineral water... Uncle DD is different again angels...

Coz they paid an expensive amount in the hospital... Aunt Karen was crying coz all of their babies died and the expenses were pricey but they are still alive... They are still alive,the brighter side...

One more thing as fur foster mom and foster dad of those babies, it will be difficult for me and Uncle Jun to take care of them while dying that those puppies were vomiting and pooping blood due to parvo virus... We can't abandon them outside and it will be a cause of an another problem here,if ever...So, it was a good thing that those puppies were being hospitalized and died there...But it is very painful! We didn't expect that coz they just got their deworming shots...

So, bad heart to abandon a puppies and let them die alone...It is truly a wicked soul...

But Uncle Jun hated the fact that puppies were being hospitalized... Coz for him it is just a waste of money... And that point we have different point of view...

Before the other 3 puppies, Pink was the first one who got the virus...I was with Pink for 48 hours and I didn't sleep for straight 2 days... Every hour, I put an alarm to give her water or ginger tea...

It is a right thing that I suggested to confine the puppies in the hospital and splurging for them meaning saving pet's owner lives.... Think of the brighter side...

It is a lesson learned for everyone here and for everybody in the world that our pets, our dogs have rights to live comfortable and to be taken care of in a good and fair way... It is a big responsibilities...

My personal thing:I don't want them to live here angels coz they will not assist me the way Aunt Teresa told them... This is my FEAR... Probably, show-off but I suggested it and it was the right thing...I'm not jealous of the dogs... I also love Neko... It is just that we need balance and before this issues, I have feared Uncle DD and Aunt Karen that they will not assist me correctly...

Coz for 2 days, I took care of Pink, I wiped her face and her entire body hoping she can survive... But we were kinda late bringing her to the vet... But I did the right thing... And when we talk about your relationship, is fucking cute

DSMP Headcanons

I have way too many, I will be sectioning them into groups so it is too big of a jumbled mess, as well as this won’t be all of them. Some headcanons are inspired by ones I have heard yet I don’t know who thought of them.

< Dream (one smiley man) >

-Dream wasn’t being controlled though the Dreamon and XD were kind of behind the manipulating.

-Dream didn’t think he would miss everyone as much as he actually does

-He jumps into the lava as it makes him feel like Sapnap is there 

-Dream is a robot made by Tubbo(yes, Tubbo) and was made to take care of everyone but had a malfunction that couldn’t be fixed

-Although he is a robot, it takes a long time for him to start to melt in hot environments and he doesn’t take too much damage in water, though it does shock him (like static electricity shocks)

-Dream can see chat on a page on an empty page in the revive book

-Dream’s pupils are smiley faces, though he cover’s his eyes because they used to scare some people

-Dream doesn’t have a mask, but he has a smile “tattoo” on his neck

< Sapnap (the campfire) >

-Sapnap isn’t a blazeborn but is just a kid born in the nether, know one knows who his actual parents are or why he was born in the nether but he doesn’t really mind it.

-He had a pet strider as a kid that he would ride around but it died when he turned 5 as they don’t last very long, his name was Stry

-Before he was called Sapnap, he called himself “Pandas” because he wanted to see pandas in the future

-He was adopted by Bad when he was 7

-When angry, his body catches on fire and the only way to put it out is for him to have a damp towel put over him or for someone to use a fire extinguisher on him, in the past, it had caused many houses being burnt down and onlookers have panicked seeing him on fire

-His tongue is literally lava though this makes it so he can’t drink water and has to drink lava instead

-One eye is burnt through and has been replaced with lava because of an incident, it kind of looks scary when all of the lava has fallen out of his eye 

-Sapnap can stay in lava for 1 hour until he starts taking damage, as well as he can see through it with goggles on (Bad made them for him) and has seen what lives in the lava though barely anyone believes him.

-George has a coolie hate with the classic “red-white” mushroom design that covers most of the mushrooms growing in his hair, so they have started growing on his arms

-He can eat mushrooms perfectly fine; he doesn’t need to make sure they are poisonous 

-Even though he enjoys being outside, he doesn’t know much about the things out there

-George lived on a Mooshroom Island which is why he has mushrooms growing on him

< BadBoyHalo (Muffin King) >

-Bad has multiple scars from when Sapnap lit him on fire as he isn’t fireproof

-He didn’t pick Sapnap up off the ground untill he was 10

-BBH was born from an occult; they summoned him and took care of him

-Bad’s species is seen as an evil and feared species which sometimes makes him feel guilty for being so nice to everyone. 

-In the past, he didn’t have too many friends because they were all scared of him

-He can breathe underwater

-Going into his human form hurts him but 3 minutes after transforming, he feels fine

-Bad’s old friends would be friends with him so that they could feel safe even though they fully knew he felt uncomfortable about it.

-Bad has incredibly good eyesight and fast reflexes

-Skeppy melts incredibly quickly so he is kind of scared of Sapnap 

-He has Pyrophobia (fear of fire) because most of his hometown burnt to the ground

-He doesn’t know that Bad adopted Sapnap, he just thinks they are really close friends (this is inspired by the fact that Skeppy didn’t know why someone asked “are you Sapnap’s dad just like Bad?” or something like that in his Q&A)

-He can turn into a diamond, a golem, and a human

-Skeppy has a lamp tail and tiny wings

-When angered, diamond spikes shoot up from his body

-His eyes are completely crystalized (they look like the shape of a normal eye but are diamond blue and they look like actual diamonds)

-Sam is kind of scared of Antfrost but not as much as he used to be

-When they are upset, scared, or annoyed there is a subtle hissing sound to give a warning as he can explode

-he doesn’t really know how to smile but he tries

-Anfrost can turn into a cat but prefers to stay like a Neko

-Every once in a while, he gets gifts from Velvet

-Viewers are a bunch of cats

-He can kind of see in the dark

-he normally lands on his feet

-Doesn’t like being forced into water

-They have a lot of hair

-Tubbo has yellow eyes

-His pupils can change from the ram/goat eyes to the nuke symbol

-Sometimes Tubbo will go up to people he cares about and headbutt them, though he doesn’t do it too much because his horns have hurt some of them

-Ranboo doesn’t actually remember what the end is but they recognize it from somewhere as when he is in his enderwalk state, he tries to find another end portal

I was tagged a bunch to do this a few weeks ago (the only person I can remember tagging me in particular is @simsiekat, tho). I was kinda at a loss, because as much as I wanted to do it, spoilerssss! But I decided that there was no harm in doing it for one of TSS’s side-characters, Miss Layla Rabadia!

How old is your character? 34

When is your character’s birthday? September 24th

What is your character’s zodiac sign? Libra

What is your character’s ethnicity? Indian (specifically has roots in Gujurat)

Does your character have any nicknames? Her mother calls her Bachcha. Her little nieces and nephews call her Li-la. 

Do they have a job? If so what is it? She’s the (new) Forensic Pathologist/Medical Examiner for the city of Point Haven. 

Where does your character live? In a loft in the center of Upper Point Haven. 

Who does your character live with? Her four cats.

What environment did your character grow up in? (strict, loving, cold etc.) Strict, but very loving. The eldest of five children, she was surrounded by family constantly, and her parents expected nothing but the best from her. They encouraged her to put school and her future first, and were endlessly proud of her achievements.

What are your character’s favorite food? Sushi!

What is your character’s favorite drink? She loves tea. All kinds of tea. But especially rose/floral teas. She has a very low caffeine tolerance, so black teas/coffee aren’t really her jam. If we’re talking alcohol, she really only likes extremely sugary drinks/frozen margaritas. 

What is your character’s favorite color? PINK! Especially pastel/light pink. 

Does your character believe in any clichés? She’s a hopeless romantic and believes wholeheartedly in soulmates/the concept of ”one true love”. 

What is your character’s sexuality? Lesbian!

What is your character’s gender identity? Female.

Is your character Type A or Type B? More aligned with Type A, but not as overzealous/aggressive.

What is your character’s favorite woohoo position? Switch/verse? Depends on the person/situation!

Is your character a pet person? If so what is their favorite animal? Absolutely. And she loves cats. All kind of cats. In another life, she would work in a rehabilitation center for big cats. Her four cats are her whole world.

Does your character have a best friend? Other than her cats? Pssh. I kid, I kid. She’s actually very sociable and has a wide circle of friends and acquaintances (she’s also that person who somehow manages to have an amicable relationship with all her exes). Her best friend Amy works across the country, but they text nearly every day/videochat often. 

What is/was your character’s favorite school subject? Science/Math!

Is/was your character a high, mid or low achiever in school? High achiever from the jump.

Are they planning to go or have they already been to college? If so, what would be/what was their major? She has gone through rigorous amounts of schooling, including an undergraduate major in human biology that preceded medical school, and five years in pathology residence.

What are your character’s political beliefs? (if they have them) Aligns herself with Left/Democrat U.S. politics. 

What is one thing your character wants to do before they die? Travel to India (she’s third generation and was born and raised in America), fall in love and get married, adopt several children, and go to Disneyland (and Disneyworld. And Universal Studios.).

Does your character have a favorite TV show (cable) and/or movie? She likes home makeover/wedding shows...and documentaries about other countries/cultures. Also any cute show about puppies/kittens/animals in general that is on Animal Planet at any given time. Her favorite movie is like....9 to 5. Or The Santa Clause. Or The Aristocats. 

Is your character a Netflix viewer? If so what are their top 3 shows? Queer Eye, Gilmore Girls and The Great British Baking Show. 100%.

Does your character like books? If so what’s their favorite one? She loves books, but she doesn’t really find a lot of time to read. She really likes YA/Fantasy. She also really likes Lang Leav’s poetry! 

Does your character enjoy video games, if so what is their favorite one and do they play on PC or console? She plays a LOT of cutesy games on her phone, think Neko Atsume, Candy Crush, Gardenscapes and Clawbert---and she’s one of those people who has no qualms at all about spending her real life $$ on them. Smh. She also really likes Animal Crossing. 

What is your character’s personal style? Preppy-cute. She loves pastel blouses, pretty skirts, dainty jewelry, and anything with flowers on it. 

Does your character have a lucky charm? Do her cats count? Because....them.

Is your character religious? Not heavily, but she does respect and honor a lot of the traditions and beliefs of Hinduism. 

What kind of music does your character listen to and who is their     favorite artist? Ehhh, pop/soft indie. Is that a genre? Think Regina Spektor, Ellie Goulding, and Tove Lo.

Is your character a festive person? If so what’s their favorite holiday? Almost...obnoxiously festive and LOVES Christmas. She starts decorating in November, gets professional Christmas photos with her cats, and actually enjoys repetitive Christmas music.

What is your character’s favorite type of weather? She loves bright, sunny days. (And snow around Christmastime.)

Does your character prefer to start fights or finish them? Neither. She’s a very nonconfrontational person and doesn’t care to enter into situations where she has to verbally spar with someone. She does have an uncanny ability to diffuse most situations, though.

Does your character have a dream job? Her current job is definitely her dream job!

Does your character have any siblings? Yes, four younger siblings. Three boys and one girl. 

Does your character get along with their family? She does. There were mixed reactions when she came out in her early twenties (mostly from her aunts and cousins), but her parents weren’t the least bit surprised. She’s very close to her younger siblings (they’re all in a family group chat), and loves being an aunt to her nieces and nephews.

What is your character's favorite hobby? Dancing around with her cats in her loft, making smoothies from Pinterest recipe boards, filling bullet journals/making journal flip-throughs on YouTube.

What does your character look for in a romantic partner? Good cuddler, likes cats, has a sense of humor, isn’t turned off by her job, someone who is looking for something serious/long-term. She’s also on the taller side (5′’8′), and she kinda has a thing for shorter girls. 

What is a secret about your character? She tells everyone that she’s good with the amount of cats she has, but she secretly really wants another one. This is not actually a secret, because nobody honestly believes her, but she thinks it’s a secret. 

What is a wish your character has? To fall in love.

What is a flaw your character has? She has a habit of overworking herself, pushing herself to the point where she’s sometimes incredibly strung-out and exhausted. 

How do others generally perceive your character? Incredibly professional and polite, sometimes annoyingly cheerful, kind to a fault.

Does your character have a greatest achievement? If so what is it? Completing her schooling and finally being able to do the job she loves.

If they have one, what is your character’s greatest regret? Not coming out earlier.

I don't give a fuck about Oso-san's angst stories anymore after the greatest fiasco it was first cour's 24th episode.

Gakuen Babysitters: The tale of two brothers who lost their parents on a plane accident, and are "adopted" by the chairwoman of a babysitters club. I know, the premise sounds pretty gloomy, but it gets happier on the next episodes, I promise! Plus, the babies are cute!

Hakumei to Mikochii: The adventures of two pint-sized girls in a big open world. Very fairy tale-like, very cute!

Mitchiri Neko: You know the cute kitty marching band? The running game app? Well, it has an anime now!

Flying Witch: The everyday life of a kind and mild-mannered witch girl. My personal favourite.
