One of the funniest parts about the whole “Leo not giving Draxum any grace” idea is that Draxum is one of the ONLY notable older men in the show that Leo isn’t willing to give a proper second chance to OR really hear out in the first place.

He was the one who would carry the burdens of everyone else around him, while locking his own away in a dark corner, and never once complain.  And Chris knew for a fact, the only reason Martin didn’t trade places with him when Diego dragged him away and locked him within his own mind was because his brother couldn't work miracles. But Chris didn’t think he could share this burden with Martin. He decided he wouldn’t even give him the choice."

Continuation of this: Tim and Jason get it on at the party (eyebrow waggle). They eventually come out to rejoin the event but almost everyone is already gone. Dick has his arms crossed and is not amused.

Dick: Well, now that the whole party knows you're together

Tim: It was a one time thing

Jason: Who I choose to have on my arm isn't their business

Tim: Wait, that doesn't sound very one timey

Jason: Yeah, no, after that performance, ain't no one else getting you but me

Tim: Presumptuous

Jason: Am I wrong?

Tim: You can't make me admit to anything

Jason, grins.

Dick: So, hey, yeah, still here guys, just know Bruce heard things and I'm not smoothing that over so have fun with that. Shovels, holes, be good to each other. That whole thing. You'll each get enough of a lecture shortly.

Tim: Why would we get a lecture now?

Tim, Jason and Dick's phones start going off. In the distance, Bruce's phone is going off.

buck, tommy, and maddie growing up together in hershey with maddie and tommy as best friends and buck as the clingy little brother who's all his life just known maddie taking care of him and tommy keeping his ass out of trouble. till maddie meets doug in senior year of high school and nothing changes immediately but it feels like something's slipping out of his fingers, grain by grain. come summer, right before graduation, maddie finds buck one night and tells him she's leaving with doug soon. buck is only fourteen, about to start high school himself, and he can't understand for a second, he can't believe that he's being left behind like this when everything's terrible with their parents and maddie knows it, and only maddie gets it, and what's buck supposed to do without her? at the end, he can't stop her, and tommy can't stop her either, and in his anger and indignation, buck's only consolation is that tommy's still there.

tommy who works as a handyman with his dad during days, helping out with the main diner on the weekends, running errands for the post office and the shop owners left and right. tommy who knows everyone's name and everyone knows his name in return. tommy who seems destined to this town. tommy who seems like will never leave this town. tommy who will never leave buck. and buck tells him. buck, angry and sad and only a teenager, says who cares what maddie does, if she wants to leave she can, buck will just hang out with tommy and maybe he can teach him how to do roofing or plumbing or work on cars, and buck then can get a job that way, save money, leave his parents' home as soon as possible, and he's so excited, so naive and sweet and bright-eyed babbling about his plans. only for tommy to interrupt him mid-sentence: he's leaving pennsylvania soon, he's just got his enlistment documents

IMAGINE THIS: Lil baby Damian, bored and being not quite old enough to start learning how to use proper weapons (curse these wooden ones, he wants true steel!) is wandering the base. This is not out of the ordinary, he’s the prince after all. What is out of the ordinary is that his shadow, his Akhi, is not here. 

Technically, he should be napping, but he woke up and neither his mother or his brother- who is quiet but gentle and isn’t a good speaker (mother said it was from a head injury)- is there. Which is how he finds his way to the Pit, which he’s not supposed to be at. Or at least not alone. 

But! His mother and Akhi are there! And- and Akhi is screaming and he’s never heard him scream like that, like he’s in agony- His eyes are green- they were blue, had, had Mother placed him in the Waters- 

And then the pool is bubbling- he should be running away, get assistance or something, he’s five, he shouldn’t be running towards it when everything is screaming to flee. But one moment he’s at the doorway, the next he’s clinging to his akhi as something writhes in the Pit, a mighty bellow echoing even as the Shadows take defensive positions. 

The water cascades, laps at their feet, splashes everywhere as a scaled form rises from the depths, wings like a bloodied sunset spreading as fur bursts into flames. Crimson eyes glare down at them all, pupils slits as they bare down at his Akhi. 

The creature- the dragon- dips its head down, its breath warm as it chuffs at his akhi, wings folding as though it is bowing. His akhi is clinging to Mother, shivering, several scars glowing as they fade and a burst of hair burned white. 

Oh. 

Oh.
