Upcoming AO3 Fanfic Crossover Announcement!

Well it's that time of this year, folks. I'm currently making an AO3 fic that is based on my day dreams, a strong idea that is floating for a while now, and lots of inspiration. This is a massive crossover between Minecraft Modded and a huge amount of stuff (Including: Hololive, Treasure Planet (2002), Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (2016), Super Dragon Ball Heroes, Spazmatic Banana (Youtuber), etc) for this fanfiction that i'm working on.

It's a big project of a fanfic and it contains a lot of swearing and some dark humor so i'm currently working on the first chapter as of right now. However, i'll need a bit of help as soon as i upload my first AO3 fic to the public so hit me up on Discord (selfKaiHarness) for any advice, assistance, heck even a co-creator request would be handy!

This is my magnum opus of a fanfic and i plan there will be a lot of chapters with continued storytelling as much as i can without facing burnout and writer's block. This will be also my first fanfic on Ao3 in a while so i've learned a lot through roleplays throughout the years while making this.

The Ao3 fic is called 'Between Many Worlds Vol 1: Discoveries and Explorations' in case if you're wondering.

Please be patient as i'm working on this fic to the smartest of my degree can handle as well as making sure this fic has little or no grammar errors as possible. Once it's ready, i'll notify you when it's all ready. But right now, it's half-way done in the oven and needs more time to bake.

(Note: I'll never do some smut fics and any kind of explicit fics. Just so that i can comfortably work on my future teen and up to mature fics and nothing more.)

Not to be a Style apologist, but I feel like some viewers haven't quite picked up that Style's brand of wooing Fadel is quite literally intentionally designed (by both the writers and the character) to be as annoying and frustrating as possible.

Lets consider:

Style thinks his bff is in love for the first time in his life. He thinks Kant is genuinely down bad for Bison: let’s not forget his clear surprise when Kant agreed to give up the car. As far as Style is concerned, Kant is acting really out of character and it's because Kant desperately wants to be with Bison.

He also thinks the only thing standing in the way of True Love™ is Fadel, who according to Kant is being unreasonably difficult about Kant and Bison dating. He doesn't know that Kant has a secondary motivation, nor does he know about the mind games that Bison is playing with Kant. Worse, he has no frame of reference or context to make any of Fadel's animosity towards Kant reasonable.

Moreover, while I think we all agree that Style made a terrible first impression on Fadel, the same has to be said of Fadel towards Style. Like, yes, absolutely Style was in the wrong, but Fadel came off as not only condescending and impatient, but unreasonable (and very weirdly cagey) when Style tried to immediately offer a resolution. Again, Style has no frame of reference for why Fadel would first demand that he take responsibility for his actions and then immediately after claim to have no time to entertain Style's attempt to take said responsibility.

Also, it doesn't help Style's wounded pride that Fadel keeps 'besting' him at every turn. So at this point I think a significant portion of that initial attraction (in ep 1) has shifted to annoyance when it comes to Fadel. By the time he gets his hands on Fadel's information, I think he's more than a little invested in some payback. While I think Style very much still wants to help Kant (and Bison) out, at least a part of him figures as long as he keeps Fadel busy, he kind of meets his goal. And if he gets to embarrass, frustrate and otherwise harass Fadel along the way, all the better!

You can see him start to have some fun with it. He ramps it up SO much in ep 2. He gets to lean into that wild, brash, playful personality because he doesn't really care if Fadel likes him. Style gets to be dialled up to extremes, and I love that for him because he's honestly kind of justified because he knows so fucking little about what's really going on. I think it's only fair if the other 3 are playing 4D chess while Style only has the Uno game rules in front of him, he gets to be the most Unhinged about it.

So, yeah, while I absolutely agree with all the posts out there that recognises just how reasonable and polite and tired Fadel is, I do think we need to give Style some credit here. He's absolutely SO extra, but he's also the one, arguably, that has been lied to the most and I feel that he deserves some slack for that.

I'm so glad he figures out some things in the next episode because my darling boy deserves to at least somewhat even the playing field.

And he who, finally holding the very object that symbolized his damnation, realizes the futility of all the evil he committed and throws himself into the fire.

Is he bad? Is he good? He swore a blasphemous oath - by Tolkien's standards, that alone would make him 'bad.' And then, of course, there are, you know, the murders. But is he absolutely evil? Born to be a murderous thing? Beyond any redemption or pity? How can someone who so fearlessly resisted The Evil be an entirely lost case? Can absolute evil even recognize the horror of its own deeds?

Tolkien, far more insightful than those who try to divide humankind into simple categories of good and bad, masterfully depicted the complexity of human nature (the Children of Ilúvatar). Humanity is not inherently evil, nor is it doomed to fall - yet it does, and still holds the potential to rise again: to see, to believe, to choose to do good.

I kinda really love how crowded and full of games the downfall timeline is

It really does show how much the fate of the world rests on the hero, and how much affect he has on his world

Considering that downfall has so many games because of one link's faliure, causing such destruction that it just takes so so long and so many tries to fix it, and how in the timeline where link suceeds, there is so much less destruction, meaning that there is less burden placed on the heroes of those timelines

Really shows how strong ganondorf and the hatred he harbours really is but also shows how strong link is to face it over and over again, unreleting.

The world relies on link, the hero to keep them from harm, and the effect that him failing has just goes to show how important link really is

I think there was a huge missed opportunity in The Raven King to add another Blue-and-Ronan one-on-one scene. I’m saying this not just because I love their dynamic, but because the two of them don’t actually click in the narrative until the very end of Blue Lily, Lily Blue. We then have one final book where we get glimpses of their cemented relationship, but most of TRK has Blue spending time with Gansey and/or Henry, and Ronan with Adam, with the scene in Nino’s to put a cap on the Adam/Blue dynamic. We know from Ronan’s monologue at the beginning of CDTH that he considers Blue a friend on level with Gansey, his brothers and Adam as his complete set of loved ones. So it’s really a bummer that we don’t get to see that one last time—or, considering the one real scene of them alone we see is their first time completely trusting each other, at all.

I also think a scene establishing their care for one another is especially important in TRK because while lots of people mention that Gansey was willing to die in the end to save Ronan (and Adam), Blue was also willing to kill Gansey to save Ronan (and Adam).

i've seen a fair bit of... pessimism about dorym lately, esp with the ep107, for example wondering if dorian's opposing views on the gods making orym fall out of love, and i have to say. i very highly doubt it, ur fr talking about the man who has held on to will for so long, holding onto will's family and affectionately calling this *his* family too because that didn't stop when will died. i dont think falling out of love is an option or even a thought to orym.

that said, we know that orym has contingencies for if anyone in bells hells crosses the line into being a version of themselves they would despise, for anyone who jeopardizes their mission. his mission. i think, for the first time since knowing dorian, orym finally has a contingency for him. the longer dorian is back, the more orym sees how scarred he is by what's happened (understandable so) and knows that dorian is with bells hells all the way. but if he isn't...
