Sighing, he crouches to the two fools who decided to provoke you and talks to them in that tone where you can’t speak because you’re scared of what they’re capable of. He says that he’ll be watching them closely and that if they mention their S/O beating them up, not only will they all get suspended but Sugawara will make sure they’ll never face pride or regain their HONOR back. Standing up, he looks to you and holds your hands as gingerly as possibly, observing the irritated redness on your knuckles and the splotches of small red bloody dots. His nose scrunches cutely as one hand lets go of yours to cup your face carefully because of the now forming bruise on your pretty face. 

Sighing, he smiles, brows furrowed, “Sugar, next time, go easy on them. I don’t want your pretty hands to be so messed up. I love you and I don’t mind bandaging them up and kissing them to make you feel better, but I feel the more you punch the more your hands’ll fall off. Then who am I supposed to hold hands with?”

So. “The queens gambit”. You guys already summed it up, meta-ed about it and speculated the heck out of it so that my own 5 cents seem completely unnecessary at this point. But here’s just what I feel about it (if anybody cares): In contrary to my whole excitement before the episode “Welcome to Bardo” and the tiny possibility that our Bellamy would finally and hopefully be back on our screens, THIS time, while I WAS CERTAIN to see him again, my whole reaction to finally HAVE him back was like… “yeah.. hey.. there you are. Nice.”  And that’s it. I truly wish my excitement would come back. But well… I am exhausted. My job is a pain in the ass too right now. I don’t want to feel bored or even annoyed by my fave tv show ever, this should BE FUN. But yeah a certain scene DID annoy me. Of course. I was in fact very thankful for all the distracting things that happened on Sanctum this time.

For those who know me a bit this isn’t news. I feel sick to my stomach when I have to watch scenes like that B/cho farce today. I did it for Bellamy/Bob AND I did it for Lindsey (congrats on your directing-debut, my queen!). But all your beautifully written and stubbornly hopeful metas couldn’t change the fact that THAT moment was simply painful to watch. It wasn’t even as lovey-dovey as I thought it would be. And I am truly relieved bc of the fact that it seems that Bellamy (at least at this “first time”) had some serious physical needs to get satisfied by that sweaty, sporty woman right in front of him (like it was with “Threesome-Bellamy” in season 1) and that THIS was the primary reason that my boy practically jumped E at that moment… (I mean… she IS attractive… i have to give this to her). With THAT in mind I can live. Everyone his needs. That’s okay. Sex is healthy. Needs are healthy. I am content that they haven’t shown us LOVE here. That wasn’t love. For sure. And their conversation is already wonderfully explained by several posts of you guys, so I won’t say anything else about that godforsaken scene than that it was a pain in the ass to watch for me. Despite all the things I said above and despite the fact, that IT’S JUST THE PAST. It still stings. BUT… It’s not current. And I understand the statement that underlines especially THAT fact: This is long gone and done. It is not current anymore. And now… not even thinkable any longer. I think E knows that too, despite her being clingy to her memories.

What I REALLY wanted to say tho is: I hope that - in comparison to that B/cho scene on the ring - we get to see one other significant scene (or more than just one, I wouldn’t mind it) at some point in S7 : Bellamy grieving the loss of Clarke Griffin - and I mean ON THE RING. That particular grief, that was addressed especially by Murphy last season “If he knows Clarke is dead all of this is for nothing” etc….. PLEASE! That would make the PERFECT opposite to that cringy, awkward B/cho scene today!!! What do you guys and analysts think? Is it possible that we get that somehow? Maybe we somehow get to see how the Bardonians extract memories from Bellamy’s mind at some point? I don’t know. That’s just what I wanted to shout into the void today. I’d appreciate it so much…

Anyway.. I missed Indra in the santum scenes? Where was she? But I really agree with most of you guys today too: Some of the best parts of this episode had to do with finally addressing some bad things people did in the past, bad decisions and actions I thought I have already heard the last  about. I am talking about the Blake’s of course. O’s treating of her brother after Lincoln’s death and Bellamy “forcing” the flame on Madi in S5. Well done. All of this a little late for my taste. But better now than never. Oh and I almost forgot: Murphy was brilliant. Again. His interactions with Sheidrussell… wow… deep. And Emori! What a QUEEN! I’m glad we have these two in Sanctum - tho I’m fearing a bit for their safety now, I have to admit.

Did I mention that i LOVE the Diyozas? No? Yes i love them. Very much. That scene between mother and daughter was TEARjerking. And NOW i’m really afraid of what will happen to especially Charmaine… I cannot put a finger on it WHY. But i TRULY fear for her now… She’s a unique character. I don’t want to lose her tbh… (In contrary there’s Nikki. Or Nelson, for example. To THEM i cannot find any connection at the moment… They are just… there.. making trouble… I wouldn’t shed a tear if they die at some point.)

And then… Clarke tho… CLARKE… These few seconds they’ve been showing her reaction to the news that HER Bellamy’s dead… All these emotions mirrored in her sad, shook eyes in that precise moment… This really made it up for me and saved almost the whole episode imo. So today’s topic is about my former best friend (we’ll call him D). And this is a topic that stresses me out every time I’m reminded of it.

So D and I have been friends since 2014? 2015? We were best friends for a couple years at least before I moved to Seattle. And I mentioned before that moving put a strain on us because D is an extremely sensitive person. He’s very dramatic and clingy and slightly manipulative. Other people have picked up on this in the past and left him behind, and so he’s paranoid/used to friends leaving. Me moving made it happen again. Even after I moved back in 2018, nothing was quite the same. He tried to help me but I was still kinda bitter and processing the trauma, and we kinda stopped getting along around July 2018.

In December 2018, I made a fool of myself in a grouo chat he was a part of. Lots of melodrama about me being convinced I’d be alone forever romantically. The next day he was very supportive and helpful. The following day, he ghosted me. No replies, I even texted his mom and she told me he was just studying. He finally sent me a paragraph yelling at me for basically...being me. How I blame everything wrong with me on my father. How I think I’m smarter than everyone, primarily him. And that he wanted a break. Wth was this? It felt like a breakup, even tho we’re both completely straight (I know we are, believe me).

Anyway I did a lot of self reflection and made some growth the following week because of that and the blowup in the gc. I made some new life goals and gained some confidence. The girl I liked stuck by me too, which impressed me of her loyalty. D continued to ghost me for the next 3 months.

We have a mutual friend, E, who got caught in the middle. He’s super quiet, reserved, one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. I felt terrible that he was stuck betwixt us. He told me that D said that he still considered me a friend, but just didn’t want to see or spend any time with me. In March, a group we both ended up in forced a reconnection (which I thought I had no problem with). Unfortunately I discovered I’d made apparently too much growth in the last few months and D now exhausted me with his problems and over-the-top dramaticism. We hung out on-and-off for the next few months, until I started a new job in August 2019 and we stopped communicating. I was also in a depressive wave during this, after being rejected by the girl previously mentioned.

It wasn’t until December 2019 that I shook myself out of my funk. Turning 20 helped too. I texted D, apologized for my crappy behavior, and told him I wanted to make amends and start hanging out more. He was very amenable and we got together for a lot of things over the next few months.

I started making a lot of friends this way too. And then Quarantine hit, and our relationship hit a major strain because we had our best times in person, not through text. His drama was at its height in text, and he was having issues with another mutual close friend of ours too. I guess I didn’t give him the feedback he wanted and I wasn’t reaching out myself so he just stopped trying. Which was fine with me.

Until one day he randomly asked me if I wanted a Nintendo Switch. See he’s majorly into Super Smash Brothers and has a whole circle of friends that play it. He asked, “If I bought you one would you want it?”

To which I replied, “uh I mean yeah sure”

I didn’t play it as often as he wanted because I had a life and I’m not a gamer like that. He could see online that I wasn’t using it (forgot I had it for a couple days) and he took it back because I “didn’t appreciate it.” I returned it and apologized for not living up to what he wanted.

This led to discussion with friends of mine over whether or not I’m a complete butthole who accidentally took advantage to him. I called him and we talked it out. I told him I didn’t want to pretend he didn’t exist and that total lack of communication wasn’t what I wanted. He reciprocated and told me he had assumed I was perfectly fine on my own and that while he was sad losing a friend, it had happened before so he was used to it (ew). We agreed to stay in contact and do some things together on zoom (or so I thought).

Two weeks later, still nothing. I try to join a zoom he does weekly, and he leaves me on read. I got the invite from another and surprise! Everything went fine. We texted afterwards and he revealed he never expected me to stay in contact and that we’d only bump into each other at random zooms. I told him “uh no” and that I’d join his zooms weekly to spend time together. He insisted I didn’t have to but I’m going to anyway because I feel like I’ve been a bit if a jerk to him and despite his toxic tendencies he deserves better than that.

I get that I kinda look like a bad guy from this summary, but believe me I’ve discussed this far more in depth with multiple friends and my family and everyone is on my side. It’s just frustrating to get trapped by one manipulative person after another....Dad, D, J. It’s like I’m a magnet. This causes me much anxiety too. If you read this far, thank you!!! You actually care, which impresses me.

Its the fact you tried in the most honest way is when he accepts your friendship. He is not exactly touchy feely but in his words, in his gestures and the way they have advanced show he cares. That is all that matters...

Mutt{sf}: He already has you as a friend you just didnt know. Hes wwwaaayyy more cuddly then his brother and he believes in best friend hug piles [undyne is in this pile and so is mettaton wth???] He offers smokes and sips of his beer. Like a big brother mostly despite him being little brother? Its complicated but you guys are tight knit!

Blue[us]: Deargod send help! Hes the most clingy friend and it can get very bad at times. But when its good there are sleepovers and quite time, he even encourages you to get into meditation! He the most helpful friend, from family advice[older brother remember?] To simple health choices. He isnt one for puzzles but he loves riddles and he'll pounce a new one on you everytime he sees you!

Stretch[us]: Hes a special breed of friend. You have to be nonchalant and chill to his snarky remarks. I’m working and doing what I have to for my children and as a single parent it is hard daily. Hard to survive hard to even eat normal I’m so stressed and focused on the kids but all I want to do is curl up in a ball and not do any of it. But these kids depend on me! My ex husband is useless so it’s up to me to raise them to take care of them! To do everything for them even when I don’t want to! 
I’m lonely all the time even around my 2 friends that I do still have. I have a boyfriend but he is gone and works really hard all the time but I feel ignored or like I’m to clingy and no one wants that. I’m giving him his space the best I can but I don’t know this feeling of having nobody so I try to talk to him even with the distance but I feel like I annoy him to much. I feel like he’s going to leave me that I’m going to be to much for him and this isn’t what he signed up for. He didn’t sign up for me falling in love with him or me feeling these emotions towards him that I’ve never felt not even to my ex husband. I’m a mother of three. &I with someone younger than me who doesn’t have kids nor wants any of his own. 
His own brother tells me that if my kids are around he will leave. That they are never allowed at his place ( which my boyfriend will be moving into there) which kills me on the inside because I’m not just a normal single woman I’m a mother of three!! & I won’t ditch my kids. 
When they are at my moms that is the time I can go be without them but other than that he will need to come to me when I have the free time. Maybe I’m better off alone even if it means giving up the man of my dreams so he can be happy and be with someone who will always be there when he wants it. 
But I can’t seem to let him go cause then maybe I will have missed out on my chance at my own real happiness & regret it my whole life.
