since it’s ramadan i thought id share because i haven’t really talked about it on here
but this ramadan really feels different as i read the quran more intimately…like it really is as a text miraculous in and of itself but its intimacy with each reader is even more miraculous i think. i’ve not felt more seen and connected with it than this month and i am so grateful to be a witness to it and read by it

what can you do in 10 minutes?
-read surat al-faatihah seven times, and gain 9800 hasanaat
-read surat al ikhlaas 21 times, and it is equal to a third a of the Quran, so it is as though you read the whole Quran seven times
-read a page from the Quran, or memorize a short ayah from Allah's book
-say 'laa ilaaha illa allah, wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahu-l mulk, wa lahu-l hamd, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer' 20 times, and its reward is that of freeing eight Muslim slaves
-say 'subhaanAllah wa bi hamdihi* 100 times, so your sins would be forgiven, even if they were as the foam of the sea
-say 'subhaanAllah wa bi hamdihi, subhaanAllah al-'adhe em' 50 times, and they are two phrases light on the tongue, heavy on the scale, and beloved to Allah
-say 'subhaanAllah, wal-hamdulillah, wa laa ilaaha illa allah, wallahu akbar' 20 times, and it is the most beloved speech to Allah, and the best speech, and the heaviest in reward
-say 'laa illaaha illa allah' 70 times, and it is the greatest kalimah, and whoever says it as his last words will enter Paradise
-say 'laa hawla wa laa quwatta illa billah' 50 times, and it is a treasure of the treasures of Paradise
-say 'astaghfirullah' 100 times, and it is a cause of mercy and entrance to Paradise, and a cause of protection from calamity and ease of affairs
-send peace and blessings upon the Prophet 50 times, so Allah will send peace and blessing on you 500 times
-think about Allah's creation in the heveans and earth, so you will be of the people with understanding that Allah has praised
-read two pages from a beneficial book, so your knowledge and understanding increase, and it is a means to Paradise
-call your relatives on the phone, or to give salaam to a Muslim, or ask about his condition
-raise your hands to the heavens, and ask of Allah what you wish
-intercede for your brother ,console your brother
-write a good word to your brother, and send it to him
-enjoin the good, and forbid the evil
-remove an obstruction from the road
-smile in the face of your brother, so it is sadaqah for you.
we waste many minutes waiting at the traffic light, and many more minutes waiting at the doctor's office, or for another appointment, or waiting a for a call or for a friend, and so on. Many minutes are lost here and there, but the wise one iS he who benefits from them. the
minute that passes will never return again. so let it become a custom that a we retain a juz of the Quran, or carry a small book in our pocket so that if we find a free minute, we benefit from it and gain reward and increase in knowledge.
and if you persist upon these actions, your tongue will become accustomed to reciting dhikr, and you will find yourself accomplishing more and more in a single minute. and if you take advantage of a single minute, you will then take advantage of the longer, wasted periods of
time.

The bustling streets of Istanbul were alive with the sounds of vendors calling out their wares, the scent of fresh simit wafting through the air, and the vibrant colors of the city all around us.
Kenan and I walked hand in hand, soaking in the atmosphere. Today, we planned to visit one of the city's most beautiful mosques, the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque.
"It's been a while since we've had a day like this," Kenan said, squeezing my hand gently. His eyes were bright with excitement, and I couldn't help but smile back at him.
"I know. I've missed spending time together like this," I replied, feeling the warmth of his hand in mine. The mosque loomed ahead, its minarets reaching towards the sky.
As we approached the mosque, the call to prayer echoed through the streets, a melodic and soothing sound that always brought me peace.
We stopped at the entrance to remove our shoes and perform wudu, the ritual washing before prayer.
Inside, the mosque was breathtaking. The intricate ceiling and the grandeur of the architecture were awe-inspiring.
We found a quiet corner to sit, in the prayer hall, the atmosphere serene and filled with reverence.
Kenan turned to me, his expression soft and contemplative. "I'm grateful we can share moments like this together."
I nodded, feeling a deep sense of connection not just to Kenan, but to our faith and our community. "Me too."
We sat in comfortable silence for a while, letting the tranquility of the mosque envelop us. After the prayers, we took a leisurely walk around the courtyard, enjoying the cool breeze and the peacefulness of the surroundings.
Kenan looked at me with a playful glint in his eye. "Do you remember the first time we visited a mosque together?"
I laughed, recalling the memory. "Yes, I was so nervous! I was worried about doing everything right."
"You were perfect," Kenan said, his voice filled with warmth. "And you still are. I love how dedicated you are to everything you do."
Blushing, I nudged him playfully. "Stop making me blush!"
Kenan chuckled, pulling me close. "I can't help it. You're amazing, and I love you."
We continued our walk, stopping by a small café nearby for some tea. The sun was beginning to set, casting a golden glow over the city.
We found a table with a view of the mosque, sipping our tea and enjoying each other's company.
"Kenan," I began, hesitating for a moment. "I've been thinking about our future. About how we'll balance everything, like our careers and our lives together."
Kenan reached across the table to take my hand. "We'll figure it out, just like we always do. Our faith is our foundation, and as long as we keep that strong, we can handle anything."
I nodded, feeling reassured by his confidence. "I know. It's just... sometimes I worry."
He smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Remember what my mom always says? 'Allah tests those He loves.' Our faith will guide us, and we'll support each other through everything."
I smiled back, feeling a sense of peace wash over me. "You're right. I do love how we incorporate our beliefs into everything we do. Like our weekly Quran study sessions."
Kenan chuckled. "And how you always correct my recitation."
I blushed, playfully swatting his hand. "Well, someone has to keep you on your toes."
We both laughed, the sound melding with the soft hum of the café.
Our journey was just beginning, and I knew that with Kenan by my side, we could face anything together.

The first step to achieving a new goal; identity; a lifestyle is to overcome laziness. I am myself was and sometimes have my lazy moments; however, to really make a change and accomplish the goals you desire first starts with changing your current lifestyle to the one you want; the person you want to become; and to work hard for the goals you want.
Of course, with that being said, do not change your whole lifestyle in one day. That is overwhelming and impossible, you will just go back to your old ways and become worse. Others say to have a new goal each day; however, for a more stable and consistent change, have a new goal every month. For instance, this month you will focus on balancing your meals; and then the next month is to be consistent through your sunnah namaz.
Each time you make these monthly goals, it shifts your one percent better than before. And as always be kind to yourself if you ever fall back or feel like giving up. Change can be difficult and that is why it is also important to go at your own paste even if that monthly goal turns to a year. Try your best and have faith in yourself!
Inshallah these steps help you!

When you begin to prioritize Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala I swear your life changes. You begin to have inner peace, confidence, a burst of imaan and happiness. No matter who you are, no matter what your past is, dont ever let it stop you from becoming closer to Allah the Almighty.
We all have a past, guilt, a deed we committed that we are not proud of. But let me tell you something, Allah forgives every sin, Allah loves those who repent and try to change, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala forgive those even if they sinned their whole lives, and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala loves us no matter what.
So, who are you to say you are not worthy of forgiveness? I heard doubting your lord's mercy is a sin itself. That just shows how much our lord loves us, how merciful Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is.
I sometimes do have that feeling of me not being able to be forgiven but please remind yourself how much of a merciful lord we have that even if we repent just now, we are forgiven.
The most important steps to focus on Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and be better is to do the following:
Be consistent and on time with your five daily prayers (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Mahrib, and Isha)
I know Fajr is hard for others or any of the prayers; However, try your best and pray to Allah to make it easier for you, to be consistent, to be engaged in prayer and to connect with it too, Start by setting up an alarm for each of the five prayers, strengthen your imaan by looking up the benefits of the five daily prayers; perform wudhu 10-15 minutes before (I tried this and it definitely made it easier for me to be on time and to be more engaged in namaz).
Perform Dhikr (Whether you have tesbih or the tesbih counter, always repeat Allahs most loved words like Subhanallah; Alhamdulilah, Allahu Akbar; La illaha Ilalah; Agstafurillah, and the 99 names. Even when you are working or at school--no matter where you are repeat these words as they are light on the tongue but heavy on the scale.)
Read the Quran (Sometimes life gets in the way, and we become very busy and that is why I recommend downloading a Quran app so no matter if you're at school or not you can read an ayat or two which is still heavy on the scale. And also learning how to read the Quran. No matter what level you are on learning how to recite the Quran, try your best and know that you can do it!)
Perform goodness (Try your best to give up those bad habits, those bad deeds and replace them with good ones. No matter how big or small those good deeds are, always be consistent with them.)
Make dua (For everything I listed, always make dua to make it easier for you, to ask for the things you want and need, and of course before you even ask for anything always repent and ask for forgiveness, as your lord is the most forgiving)

Mindset is everything! Shift your mindset to a positive one! stop thinking that you deserve every bad event. Stop thinking that bad incident was the end of it all; or how that rejection you got is the end to your happiness.
There is something I stand by and believe, and that is whatever did not work out for you is an opportunity for something better to happen.
Regardless of what is happening in your life right now, just know it is a test, a test that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is making you go through because why? Allah subhanahu wa ta'alaloves those he tests and is going to grant something way better. What you need to do is for you to believe something better will happen and to never give up.
Along with changing your mindset--change your mind set about yourself as in stop thinking your this and that, that your "ugly" or "weak". First of all, your beautiful and beauty should not define your inner beauty. Change the way you view yourself, just like affirmations think and believe you are beautiful, your amazing, successful, smart, and going to achieve your goals.
When you start to think of yourself as the person you want to become--you start to become that ideal identity. As you think about how beautiful you are, your face becomes more brighter, or how you began to think on how smart you are, you begin to work harder. Believe it or not but mindset is number one in taking action for change so please think good about yourself and life and shift those bad events to better opportunities.

Character is very important! By changing and improving your character, it overall changes your how you act and think. Character in islam is especially talked about. Following how our Prophet Muhammed sallallahu alaihi wasallam used to speak and his mannerism is an excellent example we should all follow.
Speak softly and to not speak unnecessary words (gossiping, lying, swearing)
Appear approachable (Have a positive demeanor and stop glaring at others!)
Have manners (Fix your posture, know your limits, and be polite)
Smile (Its sunnah!)
Know your limits (As mentioned before, being polite and to smile often; however, there are some people who take kindness the wrong way so make sure to be kind but you don't always have to be that cheerful bear. Make sure you are comfortable and know when to say no.)

Education is soooo important!
I know some people hate school and listen I hated school too but! School is so important--education is. Jobs now days only look at your education history and whether you have a diploma or not, which is why you should focus on your studies and go to school!
Others, including me, have had no idea what to study--what to become and at times like that it is very hard and discouraging and I understand. I finally applied to college after finding a program where it did not seem too hard, and it seemed like a program that I could like.
That being said, if you are having trouble to find a career path to pursue, write down your skills, what you're interested in, and what you are good at. For instance, you like to write and like to talk to others--consider Office Administration as you are required to write a lot. Point is, find your passions and research what career you could put your passion in to. And trust me, it won't be easy (pray and make istikhara which career path to take) but I believe we will all figure it out and find that career inshallah.
Take advantage on the ability to be able to study and get that education!
I hope this helps!! and remember to have a good day!

gojo satoru x muslim!reader ramadan hcs ✧
lil promt so you all dont come for me: he reverted a year ago and its his first ramadan as a muslim and your husband
a/n: ramadan mubarak !! 9 days of ramadan have passed already dang, time’s passing so quickly. this ramadan has been a little less hard, probably because its not hot ?? anyways, i hope the rest of this holy month may be full of blessings for everyone <3
also, not the first time ive written for jjk but you all dont know that since ive never posted so first jjk work??
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
• he’s so excited like actually, its his first ramadan with you and he wants to make the most of it. he decorates the house with fairy lights and ramadan decorations saying he saw online how people do this stuff when ramadan starts.
• says he’ll stay up until sehri with you but you both end up falling asleep while you were telling him funny stories about your family and you during ramadan. always sneaks sweets during sehri saying he needs that extra sugar to work him through the day.
• drinks an entire gallon of water 2 minutes before sehri ends ‘just making sure i’m not thirsty during the day’ he says as he almost chokes on all that water he’s consuming.
• he feels the burn, like my man is struggling but he’s trying his very best. the first few days are the hardest for him as he’s not used to fasting so if his stomach rumbles he justs tells it to shut up. checks time every five minutes to see if its time for iftar yet.
• whenever you’re reciting Quran, he sits near you and listens attentively. he adores it when you recite it out loud, it always calms him.
• punctual with his prayers, period. makes wudhu before every prayer but when he finds out its not obligatory, he definitely tries to keep his wudhu until isha prayer and as soon as he’s done, he makes a dash for the toilet.
• if any of his students ask why he’s fasting, he’d give an elaborate explanation of what ramadan actually is and why its so important for muslims. theyre so fascinated by the concept that they try fasting with you both for a day.
• he always helps you with iftar, no matter how busy or tired he is. helps you clean up after and you both take turns to do the dishes everyday
• if you say youre gonna pray 20 rakaat for taraweeh, he’ll definitely do the same like he’s committed and actually does it until you see him limping out of the masjid.
• wore his nike air force to masjid once and got them stolen. he was baffled like ??? why would someone steal slippers of all things?
• he thinks jam e shireen vs rooh afza debate is pointless. when he tasted both of them, he decided he’s a jam e shireen person through and through. he’d fight with anyone over this
• tries to not hover all over you during the day when youre fasting but after iftar, he loves cuddling with you <3
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
its kinda short but my brain’s not keeping up with all the bio chemistry ive been doing so this is it for now :> i might make eid headcanons

The sweetness of Taraweeh during Ramadan is something we experience only in this Holy Month. I remember coming at a very young age, not even knowing what Taraweeh was. But copying my mother and others made me feel like I belonged. I used to make duā in every pillar of the Salah. I didn't know the proper way to pray, I knew Allāh would answer all my prayers. All I had to do was ask.
There were so many people: elders praying with aching knees, others cupping their hands in duā, listening to the Quran recitation and crying. I didn't understand why then. Now, as an adult, I do understand.
I try to understand the Qur'an recitation to the best of my ability. Sometimes, I understand why some people cry at certain verses, and why they cry whenever duās are made. They know only Allāh can answer their prayers. They have tried everything else, and their hearts are tired. They complain and show their grief to the One Who can mend it all. And now, I find myself in their position.
I know only Allāh can save me from the burdens that weigh me down, only Allāh can accept my duās in the most beautiful way, only Allāh can forgive me for what I haven't been able to forgive myself. ❤️‍🩹 -Mona Al Kabir (wrappedinamystery)

One of the best things about memorizing Quran is when you’re listening to a khutbah or tafsir, they recite a random verse from the Quran & you know exactly what surah and verse that is 🥹🙌🏾🫀

Insomnia Spell, Catching a Thief, and moving someone out of your life from the Library of Zanzibar
Following is my own translation from a document I have found scanned in the online library of ministry of Religious Affairs in Oman! considering it's easy and accessibility of "magical spells" I think people might like it. <3
I hope you enjoy it :) considering the ease and how simple it is to apply them, I also included a full copy/version of that (free) post here for people to read who wouldn't want to go to another website.
To expedite a situation and get things done
Say the following before entering into a place where you want stuff to be done fast/get it done faster than usual:(Quran 17:80)
And say, “My Lord! Grant me an honourable entrance and an honourable exit1 and give me a supporting authority from Yourself.”

Your current night - the 27th - is one of the most hopeful nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan in terms of Laylat al-Qadr.
So, fill it with worship to the best of your ability through prayer, i'itikaf, Quranic recitation, and supplication, following the example of your Prophet (ﷺ).
Indeed, the people who are most deserving of the honor of this night and who have the greatest share in it are those who follow his (ﷺ) sunnah.
