#dwedit #doctor who #mrs flood #fifteenth doctor #the master #jacobi!master #tenth doctor #jack harkness #martha jones #twelfth doctor #ninth doctor #*#okay here is my argument: mrs flood IS a time lord but her presence here has nothing to do with the doctor #instead she's here because of ruby. she's seemingly part of/related to the pantheon of discord & we know that ruby is connected to them too #so i think that she was deliberately placed as ruby's neighbor by the pantheon/oldest one/ruby's mom/? in order to watch over her #it also explains why she was there to check on ruby in 1.04. once she realizes she's on the phone w carla she says 'nothing to do with me'#and she leaves. which implies that it COULD have had something to do with her. if it had been something else going on #ANYWAY. to get to the time lordness of it all. rn i personally believe that she's a time lord that's been hiding on earth for 50+ years #bc i don't think she recognized the police box as a tardis initially. that first quote should be taken at face value.#instead picture this: she's watching over ruby as per usual. a police box is there - weird but nbd. then it dematerializes in front of her.#she drops her groceries. she's shocked. she kinda looks scared. if she already knew it was a tardis why would she react like that?#so imo she knows OF tardises. she DIDN'T know the police box was one. and she's worried the time lords have found her hence the fear.#but when nothing happens and nobody comes at her she realizes she's still safe #later when she sees the doctor she realizes the tardis is his/he must be a time lord. he doesn't identify her but that's happened before #so then when she asks him who he is i think what she's actually asking for is his title. WHICH time lord are you.#bc lbr if she knows abt tardises then she knows about time lords and if she knows abt time lords she knows what it means for ruby #to be joining him - and that's why she wishes ruby good luck. meanwhile this is clearly the outcome she WANTS (them to be together)#bc she gets visibly upset when the doctor seems to decide to leave without ruby.#and for once i'm not master clowning bc the list of names the doctor gives out is VERY interesting. some of them we've never heard before:#the bishop; the conquistador; later he adds the pedant and sagi-shi and reiterates the bishop AGAIN. so i wonder if she's the bishop.....

there's a bathroom in mickey's room -> mickey's room is the master bedroom -> terry must have "allowed" (read: decided) this, and probably framed it as an incredible privilege -> in practice it's actually just a built in lack of privacy for mickey since the bathroom is treated as communal, meaning anyone can go into his room at any time without warning to get to the bathroom inside

yes I KNOW he can't realistically abdicate YET, but I'm saying it's the best resolution for him and not just because it would give him and simon an easier time!! if the fandom weren't so caught up in yelling about how the only happy or good ending is wilmon endgame (seperate rant that I texted avie yesterday but not the point of this post) maybe we could have a discussion about wille abdicating would be more for himself than any relationship he may or may not be in.

even if he and simon broke up the source of his problems would still lie PRIMARILY with the monarchy, and removing himself from that would be the first step to HIM recovering and healing and growing, not his relationship w simon. that's a seperate matter and seperate problem that can only be properly addressed after abdication because while he is a prince and part of a corrupted and vicious system, he cannot be a good person to himself, simon, or any of his friends and family.

I am so fucking sick of living with my roommate and his fuck ass boyfriend. Also watching my roommate burn every single one of his (already rather minimal, I might add) bridges for this guy is also kind of painful but also his relationship with me is one of said bridges so I'm almost past the point of even feeling bad for him lmao

Hey! I finished up another little resource I've been slowly putting together.

I've put together a turnaround reference of every character in the game, with every alternate appearance, both full bodies and profile views.

The full body views include a hatless young Graham for scale. There is a bit of an issue regarding characters with armor- I'm not very savvy with blender admittedly, and all of the metal comes out really dark. It isn't too bad, save for Manny, who doesn't even have his green feather. I'd like to fix those once I can. Also, capes are omitted. I think that only applies to Graham and Whisper though.

I'll be finishing up doing the same for the animals at some point, and I'm planning on making a few references for certain character's weapons, or other interesting items.

Also- along with the profile views, I included some of Graham's head at every angle by 10 degrees, from head on, lower, and upper angles. Thought it would be helpful to see how his hat works from any direction. The images are huge, here's a gif of them all together.

Hope these will come of use! I've been working on it for a while.

The real pain of Getting Into Fountain Pens is the fact that this is an item that is a Luxury Purchase in the higher-end forms, where the quality legitimately massively improves by putting more money into it, and we have personally experienced how much better a spendier fountain pen is compared to a cheaper one, but we are also the kind of person where everything over $10 gets sorted into the category of "major purchase" and the fact that there are people in the hobby who say that, like, three hundred dollar pens are must-haves is doing a process to our brain, and it is not a good one.

It is remarkably hard to comprehend that there are people who can just spend three hundred dollars on something. It is also remarkably hard to comprehend that we could spend three hundred dollars on something and it would not take out our entire food budget for all of that month. The government should give us money more often

#we speak #note: we are in a weird situation with these rn where basically all of our “not keeping us alive” money #is going into this one hobby exclusively. and we dont necessarily get That much spare money but we have the cash rn #that we can afford to support fundraisers and also get cool junk for ourself without starving #(because of the grant from the program that is currently putting us in situations the counsellor has described as “that's actual torture”)#(but you know how it is with capitalism)#(very funny to us that we got into the counsellor after a bunch of “it's not that bad” and “you just have to show up”)#(and on legitimately the second session she described the conditions we've been going through as “legitimate torture”)#(vindication! we get more breaks now! very funny to get another point for the “we do actually know what we're doing with ourself”)#(after like. a month and a half of people telling us that we don't know whats best for ourself)#(ah well. we got another two months of this before we can get the rest of the grant. heres hoping we survive this gamers)

However #the group I was with before was very much not one for roleplaying most of the time so the previous charas never got any development #xi was my second character for a cos game after my og one died to the windmill hags and dm ruled the were supposed to be soulless #but in trying to play them like that I accidentally got really involved in figuring out their motivations and personality #and I developed them and they got sad when another party member died #and even after that game got tpk'd because the dm got bored xi sticked around in my head #and then I was invited to join a different cos campaign by online friends I had made and I decided to reuse them there #and now here we are 3 years later and we've beaten strahd but there's more bullshit afoot so we're still playing and I'm still playing them #all that is to say that xilant's very important to me ;u;

spent weeks psyching myself up to stand up to my mum and then immediately got shot down by her 😃👍

#vent incoming i apologise in advance for the long tags #we've lived together just the two of us since dec 2021 (although her boyfriend is here like 2/3 of the time as well)#and since i got my job in march 2022 i have been paying half of all the bills (literally down to like tv license when i barely watch the tv)#which is £300 a month #plus i buy all my own food + pay for the amazon prime she uses + contribute to various household things like toilet roll etc #and she doesn't have a mortgage so i am paying the same amount as her to live in her house #(and it is very much her house not our house)#and I've never been very happy with any of that but never complained either #but then recently it turned out she never set up the water bill when we moved in (it's one of the only bills i didn't sort for us)#so we have a huge backdated bill from dec 2021 and i knew she was going to tell me to pay half #so for the past month or so I've been preparing myself for this conversation and sure enough today she came and said 'we owe £700'#so i was like 'oh i thought maybe it would've been covered by my £300/month' which is the biggest stand I've been able to work myself up to #and she immediately started going on about how i live here too and use water too so it's just as much my responsibility to pay #and how when we're both earning i should be paying my share and i was like yeah i know that's why i never complained about paying before #but also i already pay more than most people would to live with their parents #and she went off about how actually most people charge their grown up kids rent on top of the bills so really i'm lucky i don't have to #(when she got the original £300 figure it was actually rounded up from like £240 to include 'rent' but i wasn't gonna bring that up now)#and in conclusion she doesn't see why she should be subsidising my bills #like i don't know maybe because you're my MOTHER and i am your CHILD who is just starting out in the adult world #and maybe that entitles me to being treated better than some lodger???!!!!!#anyway i paid the bill and now i'm trying and failing at not crying at my desk 😃#talking
