I got really into Cult of The Lamb, and my brain did what it did best and smashed together my other major hyperfixation and the idea of Atem as The One Who Waits and Yugi as The Lamb would NOT leave my mind.

I initially drew up a quick sketch back in August of LAST YEAR,, and my motivation died out back when I wasn’t able to finish anything. It would stay an unfinished sketch…

Except the super amazing @book-keeper loved the crossover idea so much that they wrote a twoshot for it, and my motivation immediately came back to life.

It only took a year and some change, but I’m so grateful to them for bringing my motivation back to finish it 💖

I read some of the reviews for Dragon Age Absolution on IMDB and it’s so funny that people seriously give reviews which just say “everyone is gay 2/10.”

Dude, what did you even expect? This is Dragon Age, there are always gay characters, it’s one of the gayest series you can find.

Look at this review, hilarious:

Clearly written by someone who knows nothing about the series. They incorrectly refer to the characters with D&D class descriptions and they call the qunari mage “some kind of giant goat lady”. LOL It’s actually quite funny to read, but... if someone starts watching a tv show that is part of a larger series and then they get angry because it depicts the usual themes and topics of that series, well they have only themselves to blame. Hate gay characters? Maybe be aware if a 13 year old series has gay storylines and don’t act like the most recent entry has an “agenda”. Ridiculous. Homophobes always assume there is an “agenda” so they don’t even bother to check whether or not gay characters are actually new to the series they are watching.

I want MDZS but in Nie Huaisang's POV, with all his art-kid shenanigans and internal evil monologues. The show will become extremely bipolar, because he's looking at his fans in one scene then will become Death Note cinematography the next.

So, despite forgetting your pen, how did the movies go? Were they great?

They WERE great! I've never seen any of the Planet of the Apes films before, so a group of us decided to try to watch them all. I managed to watch the entire original five and the first of the reboots before I gave up and I was genuinely shocked by how much I liked them?

I went in expecting not to be that into it (hence trying to bring my pen tablet) but I was actually engrossed the whole time. Well, besides for the reboot, that felt like Generic Action Movie #8, but the five originals? An absolute blast! They basically changed genres every single movie which is the coolest thing for a long franchise, it kept it really fresh! Classic Camp Scifi > Post-Apocalyptic Nuclear Age > Sitcom > Grunge Rebellion > Community Building Survival

(my favourite was the third because i didn't expect to get Time-Traveling Chimpanzees From Outer Space: The Sitcom and honestly it was the best thing i have ever seen)

This is my first finished project (well, mostly, I just have to give it a final edge and then weave my ends in), I found a crochet hook holder a while back and really liked how it looks; it's crazy that I could replicate it, even if it's not technically great. If you don't look too hard or scrutinize it, you might be impressed (so please don't look close)

I love reading essays about bisexuality but it is crazy how we’ve been have the same conversations for over thirty years. Bisexuals have been critiquing the ‘straight passing’ narrative since the 90s (and I’m sure longer) and yet I still have to see it any time bisexuals are mentioned in queer spaces. Like.

I find it really striking that she says that biphobia from within the community ‘gets in the way of bisexuals working for lesbian/gay rights and dignity’ because I see a lot of people talking about how biphobia from within the community isn’t oppression and I’m not gonna argue about whether it is or not but it absolutely does deny us our dignity.

People constantly make fun of the way that bi people are desperate to affirm their queerness like mocking bi girls who talk about liking women and being bisexual while having a boyfriend with no mention of the fact that that insecurity is based in the constant belittling and ridiculing of bisexual people within the community.

Bisexuals are always always seen as traitors or tryhards or both. We cannot win we can’t do anything right. (Except decide that we’re actually gay or straight)

Anyone else think short form social media based on algorithms designed to promote topics that create more engagement instead of more joy, the idea of fast fashion but conveyed through social media, and the fact you can monetize suffering and outrage better than ever has largely resulted in the death spiral of media literacy and the mass emergence of bad faith readings?
