There’s this interesting pattern in how Yellow and Green view each other—and it stems a lot about how they operate. Yellow has a point blank view of green meanwhile green tends to have a more nuanced view of yellow.

Yellow, as a faction, tends to see Green in black and white. You're either a threat or an ally. Right or wrong. There’s not a lot of room for in-between. And that probably comes from how Yellow works: they’re united under one banner, one leader, one shared purpose. Their morals and values are often aligned, so when one acts, it's seen as a reflection of them all. If one makes a choice, it's assumed others stand by it.

But Green isn't like that. A loose circle of nomads who walk side by side, not in line. They don’t follow a single voice; they follow their own. They support each other, but they don’t always agree. Even when Bad makes a mess of things, the others call him out. They might support him, but it doesn't mean they condone everything he does. Their values aren’t tied together with a bow—they’re layered. Green lets its people be people. Messy. Contradictory. Still worth standing beside.

That’s why Green often holds more nuanced views of Yellow. Pangi understands why Sneeg hates him, but doesn't hate him back. Lukey disagrees with what Foolish does, but he gets why he did it. There's room for disagreement without hate.

Meanwhile, Sneeg blames Bad for chaos, Ros's memory loss, even Ros’s pain. Zam blames Bad for Foolish’s death, despite Owen swinging the blade. And Ros would kill for her faction, yet can’t stomach Pangi doing the same.

And maybe that’s the heart of it. Yellow doesn’t do nuance—because their strength lies in standing as one. Green exists in the blur, in the mess, in the space between right and wrong. In yellow one person's actions are often reflective of the others intent meanwhile green might not support the intent but they'll often stand beside the actions.

Yellow moves like a sword—sharp, singular, aimed with purpose. Green moves like a wildfire—messy, unpredictable, but not without reason. One cuts in straight lines. The other spreads in all directions. And sometimes, to something shaped like a blade, anything that doesn’t hold its edge looks like a threat
