" GIVE ME THE SWEETEST GOODBYE THAT I EVER DID RECEIVE " — peter parker.
MINORS DNI 18+ ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁 .ᐟ NOTES: takes place during the events of the marvel's spider-man 2 game. WARNINGS: fem reader | established relationship | morning sex mention | mild exhibitionism | sex against a window.
"You forgot your lunch again." are words PETER PARKER has heard too many times. He spins in place, disengaging from his work to face you, his girlfriend, who so graciously conquered his paper bagged lunch and retrieved it for him like his knight-in-shining-armor.
"Knew I was forgetting something." he murmurs, receiving the sack from you and stealing a greeting kiss from your lips in the same motion.
"Yeah, you left in kind of a hurry this morning." you reply with an impish grin tugging at your lips, leaning your palms at the edge of his desk. You meet his eyes over your shoulder, noting his knowing smile.
He approaches you from behind, lowering his voice to speak in your ear. "Well, that's because someone wouldn't let me." The lunch crinkles as he sets it down, and he hesitates to return to his work when you're here clearly vying for some attention, bringing up this morning of all things...
"Oh, right, because it was all me." you retort sarcastically, breaking exchange of a look to spy on his monitor. You've got a good head on your shoulders, but the stuff Pete does has you at a loss. It's gibberish written across his screen that he no doubt understands and could teach a class on. The thought of his competency drifts your mind elsewhere to the more alluring traits he took on before he left for work. How curious his hands were traversing your body after waking up next to you, kneading your bare form under covers, tucking himself behind you with his morning wood until that confidence bought him some sleepy sex. You heat up, and bite your lip at the memory.
You snap out of your trance, and make more conversation before you excuse yourself so he can get back to work. "Where is everybody?" you ask, voicing your observation. Since you got in, you haven't seen anybody.
Peter pours some coffee into a paper cup, fixing it up how you like it. Steam rises past the rim as he stirs it, and he draws his hand up to suck some sweetness off of his index finger. Your chest jumps, the residual recollection of what it's like to be filled stings your insides. Shifting your weight from leg to leg gives you the subtlest of frictions, and you try to conceal your growing interest by averting your eyes. He brings you the warm cup, handing it to you gently as he looks out through the glass of his office to the lobby. "Harry gave them the rest of the day off. It was in preparation for some repairs—" He glances at you during his explanation, and when you flash a questioning expression, he clarifies. "—er, for the particle accelerator. Apparently, there was some mistake with scheduling so Harry's out trying to get it sorted. I figured I should at least get something done while I'm here waiting it out."
You enter in a well-timed joke. "You should do me." Peter eyes you thoughtfully.
It was not a joke, and it was excellently timed.
"Did you know I've always wanted to fuck in your—mm—office?" you ask, panting while he yanks you back on his dick. Pressed up against the window that overlooks the lobby, your breath fogs it up. Your hands brace flat against it, its temperature cooling your heated skin, indenting your perked nips.
Peter's chuckle through his nose sounds behind you, and it widens your intoxicated grin. "S'not just mine, baby. What's he gonna say when he sees your tit-prints all over the glass?" Some of the stuff Peter says really gets you, his words shooting straight through you as his dirty talk often does. You moan in response, sucking a breath through your teeth right after, biting your lip hard as he plows your pussy. His steady hands on your hips make sure you can't recoil too much and run away too far, he keeps you right where he wants you so easy.
"We could've kept more clothes on, Pete." you gasp, your tone reminiscent of admonishment even though you loved how he flicked your shirt up to squeeze your tits between the window and your body. Knowing him, he'd been waiting to do that since you walked in.
"Now where's the fun in that?"
"You sound like you wanna get caught."
"You think I haven't thought about showing you off?"

started thinking about "the pale princess and the six pygmies" again and realised the five unloyal pygmies match the sinners of khaenri'ah pretty well.
when the pale princess from the moonlight forest and the prince from the kingdom of light enter the kingdom of pygmies, one pygmy (deformed pygmy) asks her help to save his five brothers who were trapped under different circumstances in exchange for their loyalty to her. and so starts the journey of saving each of the five pygmies.
after saving all the pygmies, she took them to the kingdom of light as part of her people and the pygmies started serving both the princess and the prince. "but they were still heinous creatures from the land of night, and corruption flowed in their veins. as the days traveling to the kingdom of light grew long and dangerous, the root of evil would again blossom in their hearts". the pygmies then started plotting revenge and ended up poisoning the prince.
one of the pygmies though (deformed pygmy), was still loyal to the princess and felt guilty for the plan and so he spirited the prince's body away from his wicked brethren and took it to where the princess was staying. what he didn't know was that the night mother had already found the princess, who she emprisoned. before collapsing, transforming into a pile of sludge and worms, and leaving the pygmy to grieve, she proclaimed one prophecy: "in thousands of years time, my greatest foe will descend. he wields a sword that heralds the dawn and wears armor that can reflect the shining sunlight. he shall destroy my kingdom and bring the prince back to life. the princess will then be free from her eternal torment. until then, i fear not a single soul in the land of might, for nothing will bring an end to my kingdom except for the catastrophe foretold by the prophecy. as for you, the treacherous slave that poisoned his master… fate shall see that you get what you deserve". at last, the pygmy hid the body in a tree hole and walked off alone into the night, into a self-imposed exile.
what specifically caught my attention was the motives each of the five unloyal pygmies gave to betray the prince, which seem to mirror the five sinners of khaenri'ah. and i guess it's also relevant to add that alberich in "the ring of the nibelung" was, in fact, ruler of the dwarves. in this case, pygmies as an allegorical parallel could very well make sense to refer to the people of khaenri'ah.
to make a few of the connections i made between the sinners and the pygmies, i went into speculation and theory territory, so take what i'm saying with a grain of salt. but going into each of them:
hroptatyr means 'sage' in old norse and was one of the many names that odin went by. the one entity in khaenri'ah, who happens to parallel odin and a sage, simultaneously, and who also made use of power from beyond beyond the skies is non other than king irmin. he became "indisposed" during the cataclysm and didn't defend his kingdom, which led to anfortas taking his place as regent. this description of events very much matches what dainsleif told us about the sinners not fullfiling their role and being unable to protect the kingdom. it also adds some context as to why the only justification for why irmin wasn't able to rule at the time of the cataclysm was because he was "indisposed". king irmin is also known to only have one eye so his respective pygmy being "blind" is very fitting.
dain also refers to himself and the sinners as "the six of us". if the loyal pygmy from the book represents dain, this would make a lot of sense. i forgot to add before but the line about corruption flowing through the pygmies veins caught my eye as well as we know the sinners shared this sinful power between them and in "a drunkard's tale", wine is used as a metaphor for the abyss. the sinners are what led to the creation of the abyss order.
from the very little we know about vedrfolnir, he's able to foresee the future. the foolish pygmy envies the smart. pierro is one of theorised identities for "the visionary". besides his title being "the jester" which is pretty much another variation for fool, he has an interesting quote in the 'pale flame' set: "since my level of learning could not compare with the sages, i failed to earn the favor of the previous ruler". it implies he used to crave knowledge, like the pygmy, and it mentions irmin, who he served while he was still in khaenri'ah. pierro is also the one behind the fatui's plans, he seems to always plan ahead and all his goals end up being fullfiled even after many complications. he also possesses great historical knowledge, both abouth the future and past, as he seems to know about arlecchino's history despite being part of the later eclipse dynasty.
surtalogi "the foul" is the one behind "foul's legacy", a combat technique used by childe. he has ties to the abyss and much like childe's combat-hungry spirit, the timid pygmy desired to battle the prince.
the shrunken pygmy is the most straightforward one. rhinedottir is a practitioner of the art of khemia, probably the most proefficient one too. like the pygmy, her focus is on creating life through alchemy.
as for rerir's connection to the carefree pygmy, i placed him by process of elimination. we know nothing about them so i don't think it's possible to make a very factual connection but the pygmy's sentiment of wanting to avenge his situation seems silimar to the feeling behind title "avenger of solnari". despite solnari not having a very clear origin, it either stems from: 'solari', related to the sun; or 'solunar', pertaining to the rising and setting times of the sun and moon, phases of the moon, eclipses, etc. the princess and the prince in the book represent the moon and sun, respectively. and there's also the ties to the eclipse dynasty in khaenri'ah.
another parallel between the sinners is the primordial one and the four shades. but rather than representing each other, they work as counterparts: hroptatyr vs primordial one, vedrfolnir vs istaroth, rhinedottir vs the shade of life, rerir vs the shade of death (?) and surtalogi vs the shade of void (?).
not sure if there's a connection between each of the sumeru akademiya's cardinal sins and the pygmies since they're also six but they seem like sins commited by khaenri'ah either way:
"revering gods without acts of devotion" caught my attention because khaenri'ah is supposed to be a godless nation yet we see hilichurls around the thousand wind temple while also having banners with istaroth's symbol in their camps, as if they followed istaroth somehow. i have my thoughts about some of the other sins (like the human evolution one), istaroth being connected to khaenri'ah, her theorised identity as a moon sister and her possible ties to this book as the pale princess but i think i'll leave that to another day. i'm very sure other people made the connection between the pygmies and the sinners too, i am probably very late to the party but i just wanted to add my two cents on it and make a post with my current ideas on the identities of hroptatyr and vderfolnir. don't trust me, though!! the pygmy isn't the only fool, i'm just having fun thinking these possibilities. thanks for reading, if you did ahah
edit (23/08/24): i never came back to this post but i realised the identities can be easier to infer without speculation, since the names are clearly the opposite of their desires. the pygmy who wanted to see makes sense to be vedrfolnir, the visionary - blind pygmy. the foolish pygmy, the one who wanted to become smart is obviously hroptatyr (and here pierro makes a lot more sense, i know some people theorised pierro to be hroptatyr). the pygmy who wanted courage makes sense to be the timid pygmy, possibly rerir. rhinedottir is without doubt the shrunken pygmy which leaves us with surtalogi being the carefree pygmy. the carefree pygmy much like the deformed pygmy don't really have any desires, but the title "the foul" contrasts carefree really well. wanted to reiterate this since people keep relogging this post. i didn't really go to deep into the sinners either though i will leave here that the name khaenri'ah is possibly derived from an arabic phrase meaning "betrayer of winds" (خائن رياح) and the pygmies betrayed the pale princess and the light prince (represents the sun and gold - end goal of magnum opus) in the book. which leads us to istaroth, "the thousand winds of time". i said i wasn't going to go into it but i cannot stop myself from saying this because i wasn't clear earlier and i feel like this is cool. okay, bye!!
#how to tag this? lol when you write about unknown characters#dainsleif#hroptatyr#vedrfolnir#rhinedottir#rerir#surtalogi#khaenri'ah#genshin impact#genshin thoughts#edit: i made an edit to the post and reiterated the pygmies and the sinners i had originally wrote#i think it's silly to delete the post but i still want to leave what i feel like makes more sense at the end in case anyone reads this

The Eternal Night (Part 5/Finale)
Summary: After the destruction of Nostramo, Sevatar gets emotional and wants to see you.
Jago Sevatarion/fem!Reader
Warnings: yandere, power imbalance, violence, predator/prey, stockholm syndrome, noncon
Word count: 2581
Song: She Wants Revenge - Sister
Still he pulled back the sheets And said, "You better lie down, 'cause the angels are watching," She closed her eyes and said, "Quit the talking You can hurt me, do whatever you like,"
Sevatar had long since left the captain's bridge. The legionnaires lowered their heads, trying not to look at the man. The serfs, almost crying and trembling with fear, fled to their holes. Even the most fearless brothers tried not to get in his way, feeling the wrongness and creepiness. It was as if his dark soul had found a way to spill out. The air shook with his Gift, which he could not contain due to strong feelings.
There was little that surprised or awed the First Captain. His mind worked differently. The man still remembered the Zoa Tower, which Shang called beautiful. Sevatar could not understand how one could define something or someone as beautiful. However, now he could fully realize this when he saw the destruction of the world.
Nostramo, a world without sun and law, was destroyed no more than an hour ago. But Sevatar still saw the destruction of the universe before him. What was created by the Galaxy over millions of years disintegrated in a matter of minutes. How the threads of life were cut, tectonic plates shifted, and magma flooded the planet like blood.
It was a wonderful sight.
A sight that haunted him even after the world was left in ash, the ships set off far from their home system. Even when the first captain gave the order to kill every dissenter at Nightfall. Be it mortal or space marine. The primarch's order was law and they had to obey.
His family had long since died, and distant relatives served the Night Lords right here. Besides, he never liked his hometown. Tall mines in which one had to work until exhaustion. The smell of adamantium and black clouds full of toxic rain. The only thing he will miss is the crows.
Sometimes the man regretted that he had not taken them with him on the ship the last time they were on Nostramo. But years of self-control and meditation helped him cope with the consequences of the Gift. And with you, he completely forgot about his curse for a while.
You. Your image immediately appeared in his head when the red glow of the burning world disappeared from his black eyes. Sevatar immediately realized that he wanted to share this moment with you. He wanted you to feel the same way he did. A man wouldn't risk taking you to the porthole. He only liked to see you in his chambers. But maybe you can see it in his eyes?
Sevatar slightly opens the door to his quaters and remains on the threshold, not daring to enter. You sat at the very end of the room, legs crossed and ears covered. Rocked like a child, hoping to calm down. You felt Nightfall being torn apart by the countless number of weapons that were used. Heard the despair of the planet being destroyed.
If you were a psyker, did you hear the screams and tears of the dying?
You feel how the air in the room is changing, how your hair is electrified from a strange sensation. As long as you dare to look at the returning man. Your eyes, filled with fear, light up with a spark of hope.
“Is it over?” - much to the space marine's disappointment, yes. Apparently his face spoke for him because your eyebrows immediately furrowed. - “Sevatar, are you fine?”
The last time anyone showed concern about his condition was his mother. Huh, Sevatar didn’t think about her for many years. It's not that he misses her. But you appeared and images of his mother hugging him in the hope of easing the pain began to emerge in his mind. You did it better.
“Yes, little mouse, I’m fine.” - the man succeeds before going inside, locking the door. - “Now finally help me take off this armor.”
You quickly jump up and rush to the space marine, attentivelly and extremely carefully helping the man remove the second skin. You are too weak for such weight, but your delicate fingers easily cling to the necessary parts, giving the man the opportunity to remove the armor. You both are silent, each thinking about your own.
“That chronicler that we hung at the entrance. What did she do? - the words cut through the silence like water through a stone. Sevatar was about to leave, having discussed all important matters with the primarch, but a question arose by itself. He didn't even understand why he asked it. But worst of all was Konrad Curze's smile.
“Oh, she took part of the report on Piamen joining the Imperium. To make a list of questions and write a book. But without asking my permission and taking away important documents, theft was committed. The criminal deserved her punishment.”
Sevatar raises an eyebrow at the primarch's excuses. Not that he regretted the death of the annoying remembrancer. He didn’t care, besides, an order is an order, it must be carried out. It was just that he was partly amused by Curze's attempts to justify his thirst for violence as a noble act. The Night Lords were justice, but there was no point in denying their dark desires.
“Be that as it may, everything turned out only in your favor.” - pointed teeth stretch to their full length, like a crescent moon. - “No more keeping track of a useless crew member. And you began to sleep more often, didn’t you?”
“Are you scared?” - you nod confusedly and the man chuckles. He shouldn't have asked such an obvious question. Even though you were safe and began to perceive Nightfall more as a home, you were still an ordinary serf girl. For whom Cheraut Incident is akin to the end of the world.
The fact that Konrad Curze almost killed his brother, after which he hastened to hide in his native system, raised trepidation among mortals. The Night Lords were only too happy to mock their cousins, but even they were surprised at such a sharp attack from the primarch.
All the time on the way to Nostramo, the ships languished from human fear and the gloomy anticipation of the space marines. Opportunities to bring justice to their home world. Final and irrevocable judjment at the cost of billions of lives.
“The whole planet was thundering. And people screamed so much. I think I can still hear them crying. Or maybe my imagination is running wild, I-I don't know. I never would have thought that one of the worlds of the Imperium would fall in this way.” - you pull your head into your shoulders, putting the last detail back in place, realizing what you just said. - “Beg your pardon, my lord.”
“Hmm, it’s even a pity that you were hiding here. Seeing the whole world die is an unforgettable feeling. Especially if you came from it. Imagine if Terra was also destroyed.” - Sevatar grins, enjoying your surprised look.
“B-but that won’t happen, the Emperor won’t allow it.” - you were so frightened by the very thought of destroying the heart of the Imperium that you began to contradict your master. But Sevatar was in a good mood and he even liked your hope, flimsy as dirt.
The first captain doesn't answer you. Doesn't know what to say to this. If the Emperor so wishes, Terra can be destroyed in a matter of minutes. Or, on the contrary, the Legions would line up to protect the planet. But first and foremost, Sevatar served Konrad Curze. He was ready to carry out his orders first and foremost. Like now they have already destroyed the world. Their former home.
The man sits down on the bed, not taking his eyes off you. You fiddle with your hands, not daring to approach Sevatar until he gives you an order. Obedient girl. As you promised, you served him well and he appreciated it. Maybe he should have sent you to bed or touched your tattoo again as usual.
But today Sevatar was overwhelmed with feelings and he realized that this was not enough. He needed more. He didn't know what exactly he wanted from you. However, the desire to devour you took hold with incredible force as soon as he remembered the death throes of Nostramo.
The man pats the bed next to him. Sevatar chuckles as your eyes widen. Just like a crow. It's not that you were afraid, but the first captain's behavior was unusual. Even if he cares about you, the unknown is always scary. Especially on the Night Lords' ship.
You purse your lips and hesitantly approach the bed before lowering yourself onto it. The air filled with heat. The man continues to study you, not knowing what to do with you next. Until an idea comes to mind. Spontaneous and foreign, but it’s just right for a space marine. After all, why not satisfy his curiosity.
“Take off the top.” - you shudder, unable to understand the order. But your hands still reach for his shirt, as soon as Sevatar frowns. His voice drops, almost sounding like metal scraping. - “I won’t repeat it. Strip.”
You quickly remove the cloth, trying not to anger your master, looking at him carefully. Waiting like little prey to see what the predator's next move will be. But the snap of man's fingers pull you out of thoughts and you almost whimper, removing the fabric covering your breasts. You want to hide from the examining gaze, hug yourself with my arms. But you don’t do this, unable to move.
And Sevatar looks at you, unable to understand his train of thought. And why did he order you to do this? The body is like a body, ordinary mortal skin, on which it is easy to leave bruises (he can already see a couple) and easy to remove. The flesh is soft in comparison. Two bulges that reveal your femininity. Nothing special, he had seen naked bodies more than once in skinning pits.
But he can't turn his back on you. Something about you touches him. Sevatar clenches his teeth, almost growling. You cower, finally covering yourself, as if in one moment the man will tear you apart. In part, that's what he really wanted to do. Sink his teeth into the flesh, tear out pieces of meat, bury himself in your hair and remain in your scraps for an eternity.
Hearts sound loud and fast, echoing in a man’s head as he moves closer to you. Unwanted thoughts take over the mind, throwing all irrationality to the wind. He must touch you. He must tear you apart. Should kill you. Must be inside.
You can hardly breathe when a heavy hand touches your shoulder, caressing the tattoo. But this time Sevatar doesn’t turn you around with your back to him. Quite the opposite. With his other hand, the Space Marine throws your arms off your breast and presses your waist to him. The little heart is beating fast like a mouse caught in the clutches of a beast. The cheeks warm with the realization that the man is wearing only a loincloth.
The silence is abruptly interrupted by your short scream as Sevatar sinks his teeth into the line connecting the shoulder and neck. He was too cautious and careful so that you wouldn't break. But it still hurt you. The man licks your wound, enjoying your sobs. He fixes his gaze on you, hoping to see your suffering. And freezes.
Your eyes are wet, your mouth is slightly open. You were hurt, but there was something else in your face. Soft and gentle, long forgotten and buried in the depths of the minds of the Night Lords. But even as a mortal boy, Sevatar cannot remember a similar look. Only his mother looked at him like that, but still there was a difference. You didn't see him as a son.
You raise your hands and run your fingers over Sevatar's shoulders. Tender, fragile fingers that have never known hard work, have never held a weapon in their hands. Until you finally lock them behind his neck. You press your whole body against him so that he can feel your breasts.
For the first time in a long time, the man's breathing becomes unbearable. But not from pain, as usually happens in battle or because of the Gift. Sevatar would even say that he feels better than ever. His hearts began to beat even faster, and heat rushed through his body. You hissed in pain, feeling the hot skin beneath you. But you still clung to him.
“I can break you.” - he won't kill you. He won't let anyone hurt you. Any man who dares to look at you or speaks to say goodbye to his life. - “I am your master. And you are mine. You’re mine, aren’t you?”
He didn't like to share. Never lived in the slums of the night city. Not now, when he took the place of first captain. If he wanted something (and this rarely happened), he devoured it without leaving a trace. The Terminators were loyal only to him. And you. You should have given yourself to him too.
Sevatar watches with a sigh as your eyes fill with tears, rolling down your cheek. He instinctively licks them, touching your cheeks with his tongue and lips. Your eyes. And your lips. The last part of the body especially touched his nerves, but the man restrains himself so as not to rip out your lower face with his teeth.
“Do whatever you like.” - you pronounce the cherished words with a breath and a groan. Before fearfully and hesitantly rushing towards the pale face of the killer holding you captive. Your lips touch the scar on your chin. - "I'm yours."
You're a good girl. You are very very good. It’s even a pity that you fell into the hands of a beast who can barely control himself. Which knows only how to kill, cut and torture. But he will learn. And may it always hurt you, you will enjoy it just like now.
Sevatar tilts you until your head hits the pillow. The man settles on top of you, squeezing your waist and shoulders. He runs his fingers over the tattoo. He remembers, no, he studies what has eluded him all these years. What he was deprived of as an Astartes.
His hand lands on one of your breasts and squeezes, making you squeak, digging your nails into his shoulders. A bloody grin runs across Sevatar’s face, causing drops of your own blood to fall on your face. His hips move against yours on their own, as if imitating a process erased from his code.
This is only an imitation perverted by chemical treatment. And even so, Sevatar realizes a simple truth. He wants to be inside. He wants to take his sword and plunge it into you up to the hilt. He wants to fill you up so that liters of blood pour out of you.
Sevatar peers into your face before burying his nose in your shoulder with a groan. The whole body and mind are overwhelmed by a contradictory feeling of peace and rage, merging into a strange symbiosis. There is a confession on the tip of his tongue that he wants to say, but he can’t because he doesn’t know what the words are. Only one thing comes to mind.
“Call me Jago.” - the man almost closes his eyes from the coming sleep. Ahead there was only eternal night .
“This means?”
“Yes.”

Hiiiii!!! Can I be known as 🥁anon? I was the one who requested Jokers music taste and the instrument one!! (So glad you liked them btw, you write so welll!!!!!!)
How about 10 signs that joker is in love/likes someone and his love language? I mainly imagine him as someone who denies the idea (just like in HL) but still acts on his feelings in his own way- maybe leaving gifts around and denying any sort of accountability for them?
“I’m telling you, you’ve had that necklace on before” - “Huh? I didn’t even know you liked hand bags.” - “You SERIOUSLY forgot you owned that car?”
Welcome 🥁 anon!!
A huge hey hi to you! Yes, your requests were so much fun to fill, I hope I did them some justice! Ahh! Thank you, I'm happy you love mi work! 😭😭🥹
Lol, ten signs that Joker is in love? YOU MEAN, TEN THINGS HE HATES ABOUT YOU? 🥴 sorry not sorry.
Anyhoo, I hope you enjoy 🥁 anon! 🖤✨
Denial is a river in Egypt because Joker refuses to admit that he loves you! But he's a man where the saying, "Actions speak louder than words” applies. He won't say it (lol Meg from Hercules) but there will be signs he’s in love.
Joker is already attentive but he's even more so as he begins to accept his feelings. He listens and retains the tiniest details about you so he can use the information for later. J shocks you when he remembers your obscure food order (and the extra sauces) when you only said it once in passing three months ago. Joker doesn't know, but his love language is heavy influenced by actions.
Another sign is Joker being more supportive. He's always in your corner motivating you to do anything you set your mind to but now he's more focused on your future with him. If you want a promotion, one is suspiciously available the next week or if you can't take the stress of your job and want to quit, Joker will offer to support you financially. You ask for it, Joker will make it happen.
Joker becomes more protective than ever. If the security cameras and secret detail wasn't enough proof how much Joker loves you, the way his eyes never leave your sight in public, the way he rests his hand on your lower back in crowds, or protects you from danger (that he may or may not have caused) is telling. Joker has never been a knight in shining armor before and he loves having something to protect. He will always protect his Light and takes his responsibility seriously.
Once he admits he's falling hard, Joker will become clingy and start introducing his love language of physical touch to you more. For years, he never let anyone close but you have that honor now. He holds you close while you're cooking, he plays with your hands during movie night marathons, and he denies enjoying cuddles—he's just cold—but you know better. Joker can't stop touching you in someway shape or fashion. He’s addicted now.
Which brings us to another sign. Gift giving is another one of Joker's strong love languages but this man will deny deny deny ever getting you anything!! He leaves them around for you to find and dramatically gasps when you do. "Gee Bunny, I don’t know why there's a shiny new hand bag on your bed.. I didn't know ya liked 'em." Or, "Ya don't know your own closet Bunny? This new winter coat still has the uhh, tag on it." Followed by a, "What a coincidence! Twenty-nine reported subway muggings just this week and you win a uhhh surprise car! Don't ya re-mem-ber entering that contest doll?" Joker loves buying you things but he sucks at lying.
Joker tends to forget his version of love is not normal so he gets possessive a lot. He's a jealous man by nature and if he sees competition, he will eliminate it. You don't need to know why the flirtatious guy at the front lobby no longer works there, or the guy that gave you his number was found dead the following day.. The thing is! Joker finally admitted that he loves you! He will not let anyone take you away from him.
Another sign from Joker is his sudden willingness to communicate. J is a mysterious, closed off individual. Its an honor to know anything about him so when J sits you down and opens up about his time spent in Arkham or explains what his childhood was like (but cautious, it could still be lies)— consider it a miracle. Joker is opening up to you! He wants you to know more about him and his shy, hesitant eyes staring into yours shows that he's vulnerable doing so. Don't take advantage of him in this state or you'll lose him forever.
Speaking of forever, you know Joker is all about planning. His backup plans have backup plans from B-Z. One day he found himself staring up at the ceiling planning on how to make things official with you and now it’s all he can think about. You’re not a secret and he’s tired of treating you like one. It'll be dangerous if he announces you as his girl, (you'll never be safe) but Joker wants the world to know that you love him so he stares off into the void and plots a way for it to work.
Contrary to popular belief Joker is not cold hearted. He can be passionate when the need arises and he cranks it up to 100% with you. Joker never had a healthy relationship so he tends to forget the intensity in which he loves you. He has so much emotion to give that he literally leaves you breathless. His kisses are greedy and desperate, and the way he clings to you during sex makes you combust with love. This man doesn't even know he can destroy you with a single touch and it’s better he remains blissfully unaware.
And lastly. The ultimate sign that Joker loves you. The moment Joker takes you to his main hideout, walking hand in hand, where anyone can see— is the moment you know he loves you. When Joker exposes you to his world, there’s no going back. You’re the one and when he orders all of his men in for a manatory meeting you're in tears. It’s finally happening.
"Good evening gentle men. I have a special announcement tonight." Joker pulls you to stand in front of him and proceeds to wrap his arms around you possessively.
Your heart is beating out of your chest while all of these men stare at you in shock. You don't blame them.
Joker is nuzzling his nose into the crook of your neck but you miss the dark gleam in his eyes. They spell murder for anyone that dares to defy him. He scanned the crowd, looking for any naysayers.
"This is my Bunny and I'll kill anyone.. who's gotta problem with it."

Hogwart Legacy AU: Prof.Sharp
Hey chat, how would you feel if I said I forgot I was doing the deep dive of characters with my MC? I was busy dragging myself out of art block but HERE WE GO!!! (I picked this one via a spin wheel, this one is longer then the others ones I've done because firstly my MC is closer with this John Wick wannabe then the others I've done so there's more to write, and secondly because I may or may not be making a fanfic for these two losers, so I have more ideas etc ^^
First Impression:
Sharp:
✭He's heard a lot about the new student even before entering his class, Survived a Dragon attack and first day of classes saving Hogsmeade from Trolls?? Impressive sure but. . . Problem child much??
✭Pretty skilled with potions for a first timer, Not to mention the fact that they managed to stay on task even after Mr.Weasleys attempt at persuasion. Yet again Impressive, and impressing this man is like taking a Dungbog.
Rory:
✭Honestly didn't understand the constant talk about the professor once actually meeting him. They've heard him get called Intimidating, which is true, then again they've faced a troll and an enchanted armor. However, he isn't purposely cruel like they've heard. . . He's just blunt. Just like them fr!
✭Almost immediately one of their favorite professors, straight to the point. That's how they liked it. They liked potions anyway, its like baking in a way. . . They like baking :]
Overall Dynamic/Relationship:
✭ah yes, the classic and never old trope of a grumpy ass man taking a traumatized child under his wing. Starts off as a Mentor and Apprentice Duo, changes into a Adoptive father child duo. [Which they both PROFUSELY DENY for as long as possible] Y'all know it, you love it, it's great. Don't lie you know it's great
✭Mfs are literally same person different font prove me wrong. Sarcastic, Grumpy asf, Straight to the point, PAINFULLY blunt. Like come on man! They give Joel and Ellie or like Batman and Nightwing istg prove me wrong it's impossible.
Over the storyline [Also Fanfic lore!!]:
I don't really mind spoiling parts of the thing I'm writing, if anything it'll help people understand the relationship more!! So here on out I'm gonna talk about my AU so there will be interactions out of game!! It isn't apart of canon!! [Theses events begin to take place after the first trial]
✭One of the most important things Sharp was well known for, his miraculous perception and observance skills. Over the first half of the semester, the Potions Professor clearly noticed things the other staff didn't
✭The new 5th year always seemed to be running in and out of school, Barely making it to classes and at times not attending them at all. Every time, Fig always somehow had a alibi or excuse for them. Not to mention they somehow always have bruises or other random marks on them.
✭Nobody was that clumsy, especially them, he's seen them before and they are in no way a clutz who rams into things as they claim to be.
✭Let me tell you, His spidey senses were TINGLING.
✭Something was going on here, something behind the lines. He was going to find out what, that's for damn sure. If a student is in danger, he'll get to the bottom of it. Damn firm sense of justice
✭First thing he tried to do was ask the Fig about it, as he seems to be knowing more then he's letting on. Especially with his odd request for the potions master to try and find out whatever he could about the Goblins for Merlin's sake
✭Professor sharp MAY have implyed either Fig is purposely putting the student in danger or he didn't care about them all too much. As you would expect, that didn't settle so well, tense conversation turned to a heated argument. Ending it with a slam of a door and getting absolutely no where in his investigation.
✭He could ask the student directly, but judging by how stubborn they are. He doubts he would get a straight answer. . . If one at all. Not like he could tell the headmaster without any proper proof then a suspicious feeling, as if the irritating man would listen.
✭He was at a standstill, deciding to take a walk to thing. . .when he paused at seeing a disillusioned student walking around the main hall. . .wait a minute is that
✭It was Rory, speak of the devil. As he would with any other student he confronted them, after all this hadn't been the first time they've been caught by staff sneaking around at the dead of night. He ultimately decided a weeks worth of detention was suitable, he was in a mood okay give him a break
✭Rory of course was NOT pleased by this news, they had things to do. Ancient magic to discover, trials to prepare for, Demiguise statues to find!! They didn't have the time to scrub cauldrons!! Nevertheless they had to go, despite Figs protests to sharp which fell on dead ears
✭The detentions were. . .not as horrible as expected to say the least. Instead of scrubbing cauldrons the entire time, it became more of a extra class. Sharp, in his downtime brewed potions for the hospital wing and. . . Another project for the headmaster. He always did it himself but since they were here, why not get the kid to help him out a bit? Get ingredients for him, mince them, juice horklumps etc,,,
✭Sharp, for some unknown reason sort of enjoyed the students presence. They were helpful, but not a pushover. Respectful, but also seemed to have a sense of humor judging by the few sarcastic back and forths. They seemed to actually like to learn, being a fast learner at that. A wonderful quality when he began to actually sort of Mentor them with things other then Potions
✭Rory sorta felt the same way, it was a simpler thing to do that week, something that while not being optional was still enjoyable. Turns out the professor has a LOT of story's about His Auror days he surprisingly seems fond of speaking of. While he does emphasize the dangers and tribulations of the job, he doesn't seem to have hated it. If anything it still seems like just as much of a passion as it was when he was an Auror. Maybe they could be an Auror someday. . .
✭After the weeks detentions were over, It was almost a silent agreement that Rory could still return to help and learn a few tips. That was until around winter [aka, after the third trial]. They seemed to act a bit different, More anxious and jumpy. Slowly beginning to not return as much to the classroom. The Professor didn't mind, Whatever, they have their own things to do. However don't think Sharp forgot about the odd behavior from earlier this year, he still knew something was going on. Still kept a good eye on them
✭Rory after the confrontation with Ranrok and the Loss of Lodgok, unfortunately ran out of wiggenwelds and was in no shape to get to the ROR. So It wasn't until they walked into the potions classroom at 3 in the morning under the impression that the Potions Professor was already gone, drenched in blood did all hell broke loose
✭WHAT. WHEN. HOW. IS THAT A ENTIRE CHUNK OUT OF THEIR ARM MISSING???? WHY ARE THEY MORE CONCERNED ABOUT HIM BEING MAD????Safe to say the Professor wasn't pleased to see the student on their deathbed. After getting a few potions in them, it was the quickest this man has moved towards the nearest floo flame to the Hospital Wing
✭Next morning Sharp DEMANDED answers. They tried to pass it off as a wrong place but come on he isn't that daft!! Same time he was trying to push answers out of them, fig came to visit! That made his mood somehow sour more. How was this man so calm? This kid almost died!?
✭The Professors got into a squabble like schoolchildren until Rory had to break it up, promising the professor answers later. Nurse Blainey shooing him out of hospital Wing for "trying to interrogate a patient at 8AM". Sharp was pissed, but decided to be patient. He swears to Merlin if he gets another blatant lie he is going to throw a FIT.
✭He got answers. . . But it wasn't anything he was expecting. Ancient magic? Goblins?? Ranrok?? He had to sit down for a moment istg. This kid was single handedly trying to save the wizarding world while SOMEHOW KEEPING IT UNDER WRAPS? If he wasn't so damn worried and downright flabbergasted he would be genuinely proud.
✭He was asked to keep it on the downlow for now, by both Fig and the student. He honestly didn't know what to do, so he just vowed to help as much as he could. Much to Figs dismay of course. . .
✭He got radio silence from both the kid and their mentor for the next day. Seemingly to vanish off the face of the bloody earth. It wasn't until Professor Weasley was pounding on his door yelling about an attack on the school did things become more tense. Of course Rory had something to do with this. . . Didn't they?
✭Rest of the battle of hogwarts goes as usual, wasn't until the goblins began to actually fall back did the professor set his mind on the kid again. Attempting to find them, and eventually he did!! Yay!! He found them in the slowly but surely collapsing cavern, more distraught and upset then he had ever seen. Oh. . . Not yay
✭Fig was dead, they were in the middle of having a blown panic attack. This wasn't what he was hoping to come back to. He tried to help as much as possible, wasn't too much help tho. He was never good with emotions
✭Rory felt dizzy, fuzzy. . .like really fuzzy. It was like they weren't in control of their own body. After a moment if struggle passing out themself. Which the potions professor. . .absolutely wigged out. Eventually the other professors showed up just in time. . . Well not really
Aftermath/Future:
✭Rory was apparently in a small coma, damage to the head, body over exhausted, not to mention a concussion and several other severe wounds. They were inthe hospital Wing for a good few days
✭To say the professor was worried was a rather huge understatement. Besides Professor Weasley he was up in the Hospital Wing the most. Killed his leg, but that wasn't on his mind. As much as he knows he liked the kid, it felt odd to feel this worried about someone. Ever since his partner died (who aka in my Au was a brother to him) , he's never really felt so concerned, He hid it under a scowl tho
✭Once Rory woke up, they got their ear chewed off for not coming to him with this sooner, not being careful, giving him a heart attack. And also they unfortunately got the harsh demand of a full explanation, nothing left out. They agreed (thank Merlin he did NOT have the patience to fight with them on it anymore)
✭The next week or two they did not leave this man's sight. It only got worse after they managed to sneak out of the castle with Mrs.Onai and defeat Harlow. He was totally correct in his first assumption they were a problem child. If they tried to get out if the castle, "And just where do you think you're running off to?".
✭After the school year ended, and the MANY meetings with the ministry were over. Sharp was officially given the role of Rory's new mentor to help catch then up over the Summer. Not that neither of them had a problem with that of course. . . He did have a few more stories to share after all
I AM SO SORRY THIS IS SO LONG, I HAVE BEEN HYPER FIXATING ON THEM SO BAD AND LIKE GUH. Curse my cringe ass Parental issues. Hi, I’m the one who asked for a fluff request yesterday. And, you told me to request on this blog.
would it be possible to request for a fluff ares x reader where he has a massive crush on the reader but he’s too shy to admit it bcs she’s just so perfect and she’s sought after by many gods. Lucky for him, she has a crush on him as well?
And once again, I apologize if it’s too much to ask :)
Hi! I did make a couple of changes to the scenario, but I hope you will like this rendition of Ares with a haganzeuka!fem!reader :)
Special thanks to @radioactivesweet for bouncing off ideas to me and @yellow-snark for being honest with their feedback!
Ares adored Aphrodite. From the moment he set his gaze upon her that fateful day in Mount Olympus, they were fated to be together. Love and War, forever entwined even when their tumultuous relationship had been fractured over and over for centuries, finding comfort in the arms of others. But now…well, Ares was tired. He had long since grown weary of the goddess’ vanity and manipulations, especially the former.
Why would she still get into an argument with Athena, Freya, or any other goddess on who is the most beautiful being in the universe, he had no idea. Had his opinion not been enough? He wooed her with gifts, sang praises of her loveliness and dedicated any victories in his battles to her. And yet it still wasn’t enough for her, who wanted the entire world, nay, the universe to kneel at her feet.
Henceforth, he and Aphrodite were no longer romantically involved. Strangely enough, instead of isolating himself from the Greek pantheon to lament the loss of Aphrodite’s affection, his sorrow was soon forgotten when his armorer [First Name] arrived at the steps of his temple, asking if she may enter. She was here to deliver his spear and the new custom-made gauntlets that Ares ordered to replace his old ones.
As an apprentice who worked in Hephaestus’ workshop, [First Name] was allowed to have the other gods as clients but never to aid him in his projects without explicit permission. Even after all of these centuries, Aphrodite’s husband is still a picky artist.
The war god immediately allowed her to come inside, instructing his guest to leave her offering of plum wine in front of his statue before following him inside further into the temple. The wind chimes attached to her wide brimmed hat created a pleasant ‘ching’ sound as she walked down the marble hallway in her sandaled feet. It made [First Name] less…intimidating.
Her fashion sense wasn’t horrid per se, though she did appear intimidating with the lower half of her face concealed by a bronze mask shaped in the muzzle of a Chinese guardian dog. Her [Hair Color] tresses were either pulled back and tucked under a black handkerchief or let loose because she had been too focused on her craft that she forgot to take care of herself again.
Although Ares had expected the armorer to immediately leave once he was satisfied with his equipment, she stayed with him for a bit longer. She did not talk much; she was more of a listener, and she listened to him talk about Aphrodite, then rant about other things until he saw Apollo’s chariot ride across the blue hazy skies. He apologized profusely for taking up her time, but [First Name] brushed it off with a small smile and said to contact her again if he needed anything else done for him or his men before exiting the temple.
It was after the armorer left that Ares noticed a cluster of pretty stones sitting right next to the offering. He didn’t know why or how…but the war god supposed that was when he began falling for her.
Like everyone else in Olympus.
But this time, he had an advantage over his competition. Ares knew what she liked and disliked, even what day of the week when Hephaestus' workshop was not too busy to drop in for a surprise visit...only to discover that his sweet little armorer had an incredibly short temper as he did.
“HOW DARE YOU LOSE YOUR SWORD, YOU FOOL?! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW LONG IT TOOK ME TO LOOK FOR THE CAVE THAT POSSESS AN EXTREMELY DURABLE ORE, WHICH MIGHT PREVENT YOUR SWORD FROM BREAKING AFTER WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME?! FOUR MONTHS OF SEARCHING, GONE TO WASTE! THAT’S IT! DIE! DIE TEN THOUSAND TIMES AND REFLECT ON YOUR ACTIONS!!” [First Name] roared, [Eye Color] orbs glowing in fury as she chased after the terrified client around the workshop with a cleaving knife, ignoring everything and everyone else around her.
Including him.
Ares sighed softly, glancing down at the bouquet and the bag of sweets he was carrying. Perhaps he should have gotten mitarashi dango instead of cupcakes? She loved sweets, but which one would calm her down long enough for him to profess his desire to court her?

The Games We Play of Dust and Ash (Yandere Moriarty the Patriot Masterlist)
Sherlock meets his darling when going to investigate a scene, she is a reporter or a reporter who is trying to break out of the reviews of plays and flower shows she has to write. She is trying to talk to one of the police telling him that her boss told her that she should have clearance to enter the sight to report on it but they won’t let her in.
“Don’t worry, she’s with me.”
Like a knight in shining armor he comes in to save the day and her job most likely. So with the detective stepping in they have no choice but to let her in along with him. The two look at the scene together, while he is looking for clues she is writing down literally everything she sees on her notepad, even asking the police questions about when was the suspected time of death and when was the body found, actual important details. Before they part ways he asks for the piece of paper under the one she was writing on, it’s a strange request but she agrees and says farewell to the detective.
He returns to Baker Street with the sheet of paper and takes of piece of graphite to rub against the paper to reveal the imprint of what she wrote, hells she was able to notice a few things he wasn’t but of course there was a number of things she missed as well, but not bad.
“Oh you smart little thing.”
They meet again when she had just turned her finished article into the editor, she had waited until Holmes solves the case so she would get the whole story. She is leaving the news bureau when her shoulder collided with the detective by complete accident. They both stop to thank each other, her for letting her investigate the scene for her work, and him for her helping him solve the case with her observations. She tells him if he even needs her help again that he knows where to find her and she runs off and he still forgot to ask her for her name and it isn’t until the morning paper is published and her name is under the headline story that he learns it.
The two fall into a habit, he would come and find her at the news bureau when he gets a new case, they would investigate the initial scene together and she would give him a copy of her notes and he would give her the other evidence he finds as he looks more and more into the case, thing he finds when it starts to get dangerous. She is quick, not as quick as him, but quick none the less, the back and forths they have are almost addictive, her intelligence trying to rival his own.
One of these times when he comes to find her he can tell that she is distressed about something and sees that there is a piece torn out from her brand new note pad that she just said she hadn’t used. So he pulled that same trick he did when they first met and asks for a piece of paper and she gives it to him without a second thought. After they investigate the scene and they both go off to their own homes, he talks the graphite to the paper and immediately figures out what is distressing her…
She is investigating a death of a noble couple that someone thinks is a murder. There is a doctor who preformed an autopsy who found out they were poisoned, a librarian who was involved who went missing, and the name of a young lady who commissioned the reporter who Sherlock recognizes as a name of a woman his brother fancies but that is beside the point.
This is a dangerous case, he knows that and she throwing herself in the pit of vipers just to get the story. He can’t sleep that night, worrying for the first time about her, she is actively putting herself in danger.
In the next few days he meets her once he solved the current case the two of them are currently working on together. He also confronts her about her other project and she tells him not to worry about it which sets the detective off…
“I don’t want you getting hurt or killed because you mean the world to me, love! Don’t you understand that?!”
She excuses herself after the detective’s outburst, going to write her articles. When it comes out the next morning, the detective is left alone to think of ways to get her out of this situation, he doesn’t want her getting hurt but what if he was there to protect her…
The next time he comes to the news bureau to speak with her he tells her that he wants her to come along with him for the full case, and eagerly she accepts, not knowing what danger she is putting herself into until she is being treated at the hospital for the bullet in her arm. She is laying there with the detective at her side wondering if he was right, after all today she almost died is it wasn’t for Sherlock pulling her out of the way, she was lucky the bullet didn’t hit anything vital.
When he goes to visit her at her apartment while she is recovering and writing her article to help take care of her and glancing in the trash bin by her desk he sees the crumbled up pieces of paper revolving around her side project, but he pockets them himself, it could be an interesting case just not for her.

Silver Turncoat: Chapter 5
Summary: The golden child’s first mission was supposed to be a simple extermination of a people preventing Shinra rule. It was what he was trained for. What he was made for. But when a blond roughly his age gives him the chance to escape the life Shinra has planned for him, he’s given the first real choice of his entire life.
This was their one and only chance to make it to the western continent.
Inspired by this prompt by @im-totally-not-an-alien
Please enjoy!
Chapter 5: Come Home
Dark clouds intercepted the sun’s magnificent rays an hour before they reached the mighty city. Water began falling just as they entered Old Junon, the lower level abandoned by Shinra with the exception of the guarded elevator. The quaint nature of the remaining fishing town stirred curiosity in Sephiroth's heart along with an odd buzzing in his mind, but they had no time to waste on passive ailments.
They entered the first store on the right, a backwater name not worth remembering. The youngest spotted the hooded cloaks they absolutely needed. The elder collected two shirts, pairs of pants, pairs of socks, and even pairs of shoes.
“Is that all?”
Cloud nodded. “This is everything. We’d also like to sell.”
“Let’s see what adds up first. No point in handing you gil just to give it right back.”
Sephiroth lifted the large leather bag onto the counter. He vaguely heard a mumble of ‘good gods’ before the shopkeeper dared to open it, shifting both dull and sharp spoils with a ruler: untreated leathers, monster claws, horns, teeth, and even edible meat saved in its own sealed sack.
She rocked her head as she calculated quickly. “Deducting the price of those… ten thousand eight hundred gil. Take it or leave it.”
That wasn't nearly the number they hoped for, but this town was poor and the monsters weren't too difficult to kill.
“Thank you.”
She placed the gil in Cloud's gloved hand and he pocketed it immediately.
“Do you know where the nearest restroom is?”
“There're a few stalls two allies away on your left. The signs are worn down but the water works. If you don't mind me asking, why are you guys dressed like that? I heard you're not allowed to alter your uniforms.”
Cloud gave a small chuckle. They prepared for this question. “Because this guy,” he wrapped an arm around the helmeted teen and pulled him off balance. According to the blond, this was usual behavior for ‘buddies’. It still felt weird though. “Forgot all his civilian clothes back in Corel and didn’t want everyone assuming he’s on duty.”
Sephiroth looked away, hoping the shopkeeper would perceive it as shame.
“Why not take the helmet off?”
“Oh… Can I tell her?” His voice suddenly dropped to a whisper.
The helmet nodded.
“He has a horrible scar on the left side of his face. A nasty accident in a mako reactor. He's alright, but he doesn't like the looks he gets.”
“Oh that’s horrible. Hey,” the woman suddenly placed her hand on his shoulder. The supposed cadet instantly went rigid. “I totally get that. My husband kept his face bandaged for a year after he got fish hook stuck in his cheek. It took less than half the time to heal, but he was terribly afraid of the looks. Oh! Here.” She let go of him and slipped a pair of cheap sunglasses off a small rotating shelf on the counter. “It's on the house. One scar bearer to another.”
The boy took them and nodded. This must be that ‘small town kindness’ Cloud once explained to him. Cloud explained a lot to him. “Thank you for your kindness…” He kept his voice low and airy.
She didn't recognize it. Thank gods. They collected the bag of their clothes and swept into the alley. Without speaking, Cloud handed Sephiroth his portion and they slipped into the stalls.
Discarding his sword was by far more difficult, but discarding his armor affected him as well. It was, however, far easier to stuff the remainder of his armor and uniform into the helmet than to bury his weapon in the middle of nowhere. He heard Cloud exit first, swiping the helmet from under the stall as Sephiroth finished putting on the new pants. He heard Cloud continue the next step of their plan, shoving both uniforms and the helmet to the bottom of the trashcan near the sink. Then he heard the constant spinning of the paper towel roll as Cloud covered up the evidence.
For a brief moment, he wondered what Hojo would think if he saw him right now. Then it hit.
The buzzing in his mind spiked just before he unlocked the stall door, suddenly falling to his knees and holding his head.
“Seth! Are you okay?!” Cloud called his simple alias, but it muffled against the internal shatter.
Endure the pain, Sephiroth. You have yet to reach your threshold.
The more you endure, the greater the power that will awaken within you.
The laugh echoing in his mind nearly made him shutter. He didn't even notice the small grunt of pain that left his lips.
“Hey.”
He felt a hand on his arm under the stall door.
“Breath slowly. Deep breaths.”
The teen obeyed unconsciously before the weakness drained and he stepped to his feet, opening the lock. The buzzing lessened to the same intensity he entered the city with. “Sorry. I suddenly felt… uncomfortable.”
Cloud seemed to ignore him as he scanned his face for the truth.
“I'm fine now. Let's go.”
“We can come back tomorrow. We can turn back right now and no one would know.”
“The ship won't return for two days. It’ll be too risky circling the city. We need this done today. I'm fine.”
Cloud hated this. Sephiroth could see it. But he also saw there were no other logical options. The longer they waited on this continent, the greater risk of Shinra finding them. Gods forbid the company captured them. Sephiroth shuddered at the thought of the discipline waiting in the lab. He couldn't claim he was taken prisoner anymore. He actively aided in their travel to find his mother.
“Once we get on that elevator, there’s no turning back. This is the last chance we have to get proper rest.”
Sephiroth looked at Cloud with calculating slit eyes but ultimately landed on the same conclusion. “Let's go.”
The blond handed him the sunglasses.
He had forgotten, taking them and shielding his inhuman eyes.
At the base of the elevator, Cloud simply paid the ten gil and they left without issue. Cloud explained on the ride up that it was probably the end of the man’s shift. No one cared about anything at the end of a shift, especially two teens that looked like mako addicts with their baggy clothes and cloaks.
* * *
The bustling upper city was a nightmare. Cloud’s hand itched with instinct to protect the freed soldier behind him. He knew their luck wouldn’t last forever. He only prayed there was enough left over to get them on that passenger ship.
Banners he once saw decorate the city with celebration now begged for action. Every inch of available banners and advertising boards were covered in the image of the golden child with the title ‘we miss you’. Posters begged for accurate information with the promise of reward. Every shop tuned into the same news station, an eerie lull under all activity constantly updating the city on whereabouts and progress made in the search, fusing with the constant blare of air traffic above. Television screens silently displayed President Shinra's speech, the captions claiming the soldier was like a son to him and they were searching every corner of The Planet to find him.
Messages in apartment windows read ‘Sephiroth come home’, some written in large colorful crayon with unpracticed hands.
The silver haired teen unconsciously tucked his head further into his hood as they began their trek through the crowded sidewalk. The blond led the way and snaked through the crowd, the teen trailing close behind. Ten blocks. They just needed to walk ten blocks and they'd be halfway there.
But with the eighth block completed, Sephiroth collapsed. They had no time for questions. Cloud quickly threw the boy’s arm over his shoulders and guided the soldier to a dirty alley, not a single stranger offering their aid or concern as they walked around the two. The teen grunted and groaned, trying to hide the noises under his breath even now.
“What happened?” The blond asked as he slowly lowered them to the ground, Sephiroth's back sliding against the brick wall. “What's happening?”
His hands were on his head, pulling his hood down to avoid reaching for his hair or knocking off the sunglasses. “I-I don't know. Ah…” the strength in his voice wavered with each word leaving his lips.
Why did this new problem have to start today? “We have time. We can wait it out. Breath.” He kept a hand on the black cloaked shoulder, trying to ground this invisible ache.
Time only worsened the phantom pain, each tick of the clock raising its power. Sephiroth’s groans only grew sharper and louder despite his strength. “We need to go…!”
Cloud opened his mouth to argue.
“They’ll spot here… We need to leave now…!”
Damn it. He helped Sephiroth stand without another word. He hoped the teen's debilitated state would at least keep Shinra’s eyes away. After all, why would Sephiroth ever need help? Side by side, the horde of people tried less to avoid them, bumping into both of them as they tried to sneak by. The teen desperately grasped the hood in his fist, praying no one saw his face or his hair.
Cloud led them to the cargo bay, the path thankfully familiar enough. He found an exhausted sailor by the loading dock and offered his aid loading the ship in exchange for passage for him and his sick ‘brother’. The cadet agreed with a bribe of five thousand gil, claiming security was tight thanks to the golden child’s disappearance. Thankfully the ‘brother’ comment prevented the need to see the other hooded boy’s face. Cloud sat the soldier in against one of the many stacks within the hanger. He only returned when the task was complete and the ship was moments from leaving port.
“Are you any better?” He kept his voice low, careful of any sailors that weren’t willing to stay quiet for a few thousand gil.
Sephiroth shook his head as Cloud took a seat next to him, both of them stuck between two containers for the next twenty four hours. He rested his head on his arms and knees, but nothing soothed it.
The blond breathed softly. “Here. Lean on my shoulder.”
He clearly didn’t understand because he didn’t answer, only muffling long cries of pain.
“Just try it. It might help.”
Sephiroth shifted slowly, turning and resting his forehead on the brown cloaked shoulder. The slightest bit of tension left his body.
“Better?”
“A little… nh…”
Cloud had absolutely no idea what was happening, and Sephiroth didn’t either. The silver soldier suffered even as the ship began moving. Ten minutes passed at sea before his small grunts finally stopped. The blond waited, but the soldier did not speak or move, remaining exactly where he was.
“...did it stop?” Cloud prompted after another moment.
Sephiroth looked away before slowly sitting up, freeing Cloud from his touch. “...Yes.”
“Do you know what it was? Any ideas?”
He shook his head. “Sorry.”
“You have nothing to apologize for. You’re better. That’s what matters.”
The teen removed his sunglasses before glancing at the ground, his face stone but his eyes revealing.
“Do you want to lean on me again? I didn’t say you had to stop.” The glare he gained was full of distrust. That Cloud could identify. “Really. I mean it.” He tapped his open shoulder. “We’re not going anywhere for a while.”
“Why do you do this?”
His yellow brows knotted. “Do what?”
“Why do you…” He trailed off, holding his head in his hands in frustration.
“...I don’t want to push anything on you. I just know you’re not used to putting yourself first. I’m offering. If you really don’t want it, you don’t have to take it.”
“...no ulterior motives?”
Cloud’s heart broke at the idea alone. How many times was the boy offered comfort as a test and punished for taking it? “None.”
With a question like that, he was surprised when Sephiroth gave in and rested the exact same way as before, not a shred of extra contact taken. Cloud slowly, carefully wrapped an arm around the boy not out of necessity but of comfort. The silver soldier’s body started shaking, but he did not make a sound.
Cloud knew of the pain, but only Sephiroth knew the memories that ruthlessly attacked him until the headaches finally stopped and the deep twist of the knife that needed time to heal.

To be Continued…
Author’s Note: Apparently I am incapable of writing a single chapter and moving on. So here, two chapters in one week! Cloud “Doesn’t know how to talk about his emotions” Strife and Sephiroth “probably never learned that emotions are a good thing” are very interesting to write in moments like these. Anyway! We’ll get back to what the P0s are doing next time!
Thanks for reading!

Depredador y la presa
din djarin x female yautja reader
Part 1/ ?
Summary: When Din returns from a mission, he goes to the armory to forge a part of his armor. What he doesn't expect is to see a creature with it.
warnings: discrimination against another race / violence / memory of death
note: this happens in season 1 episode 1
~~~~~~~~~•~~~~~~~~•~~~~~~
After a mission and that they would pay me, I had met with Greef Karga. He recommended me a job. I only had to deliver a 53-year-old individual and he would be rewarded. He had given me beskar in advance. I accepted.
As I headed to the hideout I could see the children playing outside. When I got inside I felt the tense atmosphere, everyone was restless. I could hear them whispering "that creature shouldn't be here" "what if it gets angry and kills us" "what if we are its next trophies?"
Not understanding what was happening, I headed towards where this gun shop saw some people turn to look at me.
When I arrived I heard a strange sound, it was like "a growl?" I thought, I looked out to see what it was, I could visualize the armorer and next to her I saw a tall creature with dreadlocks like a Nautolan, but it didn't look like one, it had armor, it looked like it It was strong because of how wide it was.
I realized they were talking
Gunsmith: So you want me to forge a spear for you, don't you?
x: grrr* grunting nodding*
gunsmith: okay* turning to look at din* ohh din didn't listen to you, how can I help you?
x: *turning around violently*
I started walking towards the armory showing him the beskar
Din: I brought this
gunsmith: mmm *taking it in his hand* well wait here
She said that while she began to forge while I watched her hit the metal the memories of my childhood came to me how they attacked my home and how they killed my parents.
I tried to think of something else to distract those thoughts. I looked to my side and saw that creature with his arms crossed. He was taller than me. I began to see him more. His dreadlocks were thick, adorned with metal beads. My gaze went to his neck. I could see what he had. scales then I noticed his armor was Mandalorian like his helmet.
She turned to look at me and let out a warning growl.
Din: Don't worry, I only saw your armor.
gunsmith: I forgot to introduce you two, she is y/n, a Mandalorian from another clan.
din: I'm din djarin
y/n: grrr *releasing low growls while nodding*
I saw how the gunsmith finished and gave us our weapons
gunsmith: here you go *giving y/n a spear* use it wisely
y/n:* putting a fist on his chest*
armorer: din here you go * giving him a fragment for his armor *
Din: Thank you.
gunsmith: that's the way
din: the way is like that
As we started to leave, I could see how everyone was getting nervous. Some of them took their children and put them behind them as a protection. Others put their hands on their weapons as a precaution. "They are so afraid of him." I thought I could hear them murmuring. "That thing will kill us." "What was the gunsmith thinking?" "How about we be her next trophy?" I saw how she clenched her fists and walked out of there.
When I left the road, I went until I was lost among the people. I began to head towards my ship. Entering it, I sat in the cabin. "Why would they be afraid of her? Is she a Mandalorian or not?" I thought before taking off
During the trip I investigated what race it was, I realized what a yautja was, I heard about that species, it was a race that hunted other species for sport, ruthless and very lethal.
Now I understand his fear but he didn't seem to want to do any harm.
When I arrived at the planet I went to inspect I could see some careless creatures that attacked me until a person arrived to help me. He offered to take me to his house and said his name was Kuil.
Kuil: Are you coming for the reward?
din: yes
kuil: many tried and died
I kept watching it
Kuil: If you want the reward you need to have help
Din: You?
Kuil: Not her, maybe.
Din: She?
I saw the door open I saw the Mandalorian y/n I saw how she stiffened.
Kuil: Honey, it seems that they both come for the same reward.
din: I propose you a deal
She approached, sitting next to Kuil with her arms crossed.
din: if you help me I will give you 20% of the reward
y/n: *signing for the price to increase*
din: well half
y/n: *nodding*
We rode the Kuil beasts, she didn't seem dangerous but she was very threatening and intimidating.
Upon arrival we prepare to attack
Din: Listen, you have to be careful that they don't see you.
I saw her turn to look at me, I saw how her hand pressed a button and she became invisible.
Din: Don't you have one to spare?
I heard her make some strange noises, they sounded like laughter.
We started with the plan, I started to attack but I didn't see her, she didn't give any sign that she was there.
droid: you come for the reward
din: yes help me
The droid started to shoot but they hit him, a soldier was trapped, he pointed at me when I was going to shoot him, I saw how some blades stabbed him, lifting him in the air and throwing him, I saw Y/n who started to shoot and let out roars while attacking.
I went in to look for the reward when I found it I saw a giant sphere when it was shocked I was a baby I heard the sound of a gun I turned and saw the droid.
droid: must be eliminated
Before the droid did anything I heard a gunshot and saw him fall to the ground y/n came over to see I stood in front of him.
din: don't see
She pushed me to the ground and I saw her take a look at what was inside.
She had a gun in her hand, I thought she was going to kill him but she just went back out the exit and I stopped looking at her.
din: where are you going?
I asked her, she stopped walking and turned to look at me.
y/n: I...don't...kill...nor...introduce...chil...children
It was the first time I heard his voice, I was paralyzed, it sounded a little hoarse.
y/n: wait......outside...
He said that and came out. I looked at the boy again and he extended his hand. I gave him mine and he grabbed my finger.
" She looks like a monster but she's not" I thought.
Chapter 14
-
You, Vegeta, and Raditz all ascend into the air, but once again, that earthling voices yet another one of his "concerns," or as you like to call them, unnecessary setbacks. "Hold on!" Krillin's grating voice echoes. "We're not going anywhere until one of you explains where we're going." He quickly realizes that none of you will turn around to acknowledge him. "Because we're not going on another wild goose chase with you!"
"We don't have time for this!" You throw your head back, groaning.
"Well, we have the right to know!" Krilin shouts. "Especially since Goku's injured."
"God, you insufferable human!" Raditz snaps, turning his body towards the earthlings. "We're going to Frieza's ship."
Krilins jaw drops. "Have you three gone completely insane?"
"If those Dragon balls don't work, then we're going after Frieza without them. So I want Kakarot in top shape." Vegeta remains calm, showing no sign of losing his temper. You don't like that. Whenever your brother is this collected, you know things are dire. "I refuse to put up with any weakness."
"What?" Krillin's brows raise as Gohan shifts uncomfortably, struggling to stand in place for so long with all the extra weight from helping balance his father.
Unlike Raditz, you only snap your head toward the earthlings, your deadly gaze landing on the bald one. "He's going to treat his injuries there, you moron. Now let's go!"
"Hurry up." Vegeta chuckles. "I'm sure you don't want to find out what happens if Frieza interrupts us. And that
is, if you even make it there. Cause, by the way, my sister is looking at you. I think she'll take you out before you even have the pleasure of meeting Frieza."
Raditz shifts his gaze onto you, a smirk appearing on his lips. "I forgot how much I missed your brooding." You cringe at his fondness. Your reaction only seems to add to his amusement.
"Hey, Raditz. A little help here?" Raditz's attention shifts from you to the earthlings. They're currently struggling to fly in sync with all of Goku's extra weight. Raditz looks them up and down before scoffing.
"You and the half-breed seem more than capable of holding that nitwit on your own." Raditz howls in laughter, watching the pair almost drop his brother... again. That is until Vegeta shoots him a knowing look. Over the years, he's become far too familiar with that gut-wrenching glare. Without Raditz's aid, Gohan and Krillin finally figure out how to move concurrently. It was about time. Aren't those humans supposed to be all about teamwork? You think they'd have it down by now. You all take off, heading straight into the lion's den.
You arrive at the ship, walking down what you sure were once pristine hallways. Corpses, burnt remains, and various pieces of scattered armor decorate the halls. Vegeta sure did some damage here. "Damn, Vegeta." Your eyes light up. "You really know how to start a party." Your brother glares at you unamused before opening the door in front of him. You all enter the room, your gazes landing on the healing chamber. The earthlings look astonished while you and Raditz share a look of annoyance.
"So this is the technology you were talking about, Raditz?" He glances at the tallest Sayian uncertainly. Most likely due to the conflicting expression on Raditz's face.
"For fucks sake," Raditz mutters to himself before answering Krillin. "No. Absolutely not."
"This is going to take forever." You huff in frustration.
"Ignore them." Vegeta snarls. "They're just whining because it's an older model. It's still state-of-the-art technology, especially compared to what they have on your pitiful planet. It'll get the job done." Vegeta moves over to the control panel, starting to mess with the buttons. "Get him in the healing chamber."
Once Goku's in the healing chamber, Vegeta presses one last button to start the process of Goku's recovery. "How's it work?" Gohan presses his face against the glass, watching in awe as the water-like substance fills the chamber.
"It's far too complex for your feeble minds to comprehend. It would take years to explain the specifics to you. All you need to know is that it'll heal his wounds." Vegeta turns around, pointing at the earthlings. "Now, you two. Come with me. We'll see if we can find you something less pathetic to wear. You'll need more protection than those rags if you're going to battle Freiza."
"You mean like armor?" Krillin asks. "Like the kind you're wearing?"
Gohan's eyes widen. "Cool---"
"And what are we supposed to do?" You narrow your eyes, placing a hand on your hip. "Keep Kakarot company?"
"Absolutely not. You two are going to check if they have any armor in your size. You're competent enough to find it on your own. And Raditz can reach all the shelves you're too lazy to fly to." You look down at your armor, assessing just how much damage you've taken. It's worse than you thought. You know you're battle with Burter caused a fair amount of damage to your armor. But it must have gotten worse when you and Raditz tossed Ginyu around. "And after Kakarot's all healed. I want you in there next!" He barks at you in typical Vegeta fashion.
"I want you in there next." You mimic your brother in a high-pitched voice the second he leaves the room. You turn to Raditz. "Come on. If we're still here when Vegeta comes back, he'll throw a fit." You both leave the room, heading back into the hall. "I can never remember, is it left or right?" You turn to Raditz, a cunning smile appearing on your lips. "You should know. You've taken far more damage than I have over the years."
"Left." Raditz grins widely as you walk down the left corridor. "You know. I haven't seen you this beat up since planet Telia." His grin turns into a sly smirk. "Those Talolians were quite pathetic, too, unlike Burter. So small and weak, and yet they almost killed you."
"It was all that runt Cado's fault." You grumble as you arrive outside of your destination. You walk through the doors with Raditz in tow.
"Of course!" Raditz chuckles playfully. "Blame Cado. When he's no longer here to defend himself."
"I was cleaning up his mess." Your eyes meet the floor as the not-so-fond memory invades your thoughts. "If that fool listened to me the first time and didn't take his infamous shortcuts, it wouldn't have happened in the first place." You look back up, staring straight into Raditz's soul. "And if my memory serves correctly, you didn't find it so amusing back then. You were practically sobbing."
"I was not crying! I'm not capable---"
"You were so scared I was gonna die. I even faked losing consciousness once or twice just to fuck with you."
"You wretched woman!" Raditz's face falls. "And to think, I almost killed Cado for that."
"Yes, I remember that well." You nod. "You're lucky I gained enough strength to stop you. If you killed the runt back then, hiding that from Vegeta would've been much more challenging." You begin searching for your armor on the lower shelves while Raditz tackles the higher ones.
"I still can't believe we got away with it for so long too."
"And if you didn't open your big mouth, Vegeta still wouldn't know." You continue searching down the row. If you can't find any armor in your size, you're going to have a problem. "Though I am surprised we were able to convince Cado from telling my brother."
"That's because Cado knew if Vegeta found out, things would not be very favorable for him. You got hurt, and it was his fault. Vegeta would have strangled Cado to death with his own tail. While it was still attached too." Raditz pulls out an armor set in your size. "Found one." He hands it to you.
"As infuriating as that runt was, I kind of miss him sometimes." Raditz raises a brow, staring at you in disbelief. "Don't get me wrong. He was weak and pathetic. But damn, was he a great source of entertainment." You place your new armor set on a bench, yanking off your old chest piece. "Remember how he would bicker with Nappa? Nappa would say the dumbest shit----"
"And that little vein on Cado's forehead would pop out, he would yell at Nappa till his face turned red." He finishes your sentence. It's as if your brains are on the same wavelength. "Vegeta would get so mad at them. And he'd be so focused on those morons. It made it so much easier for us to get away with stuff." Raditz turns around, allowing you to remove the rest of your outfit.
You quickly slip on your new bodysuit, tapping Raditz on the shoulder. Signaling to him that he can turn back around. You sit down on the bench, putting your new boots on. Raditz moves to sit beside you, turning his head in your direction. "Y/N?" He sighs. "This isn't going to be like anything we've faced before, is it?"
"Of course not." You let out a breathy chuckle. "This is Frieza we're talking about." You slip on the last piece of your armor, your chest plate. You stand up, moving over to the mirror. Everything seems proper. You don't see any defects.
"Do you think--- Do you think we'll be able to get the dragon balls to work before we have to face Frieza?"
"No." You huff. "But you know Vegeta. He's really fixated on this whole immortality thing. And that's assuming he can even wish for such a thing."
Raditz stands up, tilting his head. "What do you mean?"
"From what I understand, if those Dragon balls are similar to the set on Earth, they have limitations. And it's possible that immortality might be one of those."
"And why haven't you told Vegeta about your little theory?"
"It's not like Vegeta would listen to me anyway." You snicker. "Now, let's go find my brother and those earthlings. They must be done by now." You both exit the room, traveling throughout the ship, searching for the others.
After a few failed attempts, you finally manage to track them down. They're now standing outside the ship. Vegeta turns around, hearing you both approach. "Took you long enough." His gruff voice echoes.
"Where's the bald one?" Your eyes scan your surroundings, but Krillin is nowhere to be found.
"He went to go see the Grand Elder. He's going to find Dende so we can activate the Dragon Balls." Gohan answers your question way too cheery for your liking.
Raditz's face scrunches up. "What's a Dende?"
Before Gohan can answer, you speak. "It's their little Namekian friend. He must know the incantation to awaken the Dragon." You narrow your eyes at the Saiyan. "Didn't you meet him?"
"Raditz just called him that Namekian child the whole time," Gohan tells you.
"Alright, that's enough. Let's discuss the plan." Vegeta turns to Raditz. "You're going to go get the last Dragon Ball. Since you're the only one who knows its location." Raditz nods, but before he can take off, Vegeta stops him. "And, Raditz. Hurry." Raditz shoots up into the air, leaving the three of you alone.
"And what are the three of us gonna do?" You cross your arms. You better not just be sitting here the whole time. You hate waiting. You always have. And you always will.
"I'm going to go in there" He points to the ship. "And get some sleep. I can't even remember the last time I got proper rest. So the two of you will guard the Dragon Balls." You were right. He's making you wait. Again! "If either of you senses Frieza coming our way. Wake me up."
You watch Vegeta walk into the ship until you can no longer see him. Gohan turns to you, huffing. "Is he serious?"
You nod. "Deadly." You and Gohan each sit on one of the massive Dragon Balls. Gohan places his hands under his chin, sighing dramatically. "Cheer up, brat. Be thankful you don't have to deal with Vegeta and his temperament on a daily basis."
"Do you think Raditz will be back soon?" Gohan turns to you.
"He better be." You shut your eyes, returning to the anxiety-inducing silence. After a few minutes, which feels more like an eternity, your eyes snap open as you feel two power sources approaching you rapidly.
"Is that Frieza?" Gohan gasps.
"No." You shake your head. "Trust me. When you sense Frieza. You'll know it." You hop off the Dragon ball. "It matters very little who's approaching us. Get ready to fight, brat." Gohan follows your lead, standing up, and moving beside you. You both stare in the direction of the energy, anticipating the worst. You're not afraid of the beings approaching you. Their energy levels are so low that you could take them out without Gohan's assistance. You're more irritated than anything else.
The second you can see who's approaching, your posture relaxes. It's the earthling and that Namekian child. Wow, that was quicker than you anticipated. Gohan flies up to meet them halfway. "You're here!" He cheers. His joyful demeanor is making you sick. "That was quick. The last time we went to see the Grand Elder, it took much longer than that."
"Dende was already on his way to meet us. I didn't even make it halfway there by the time we bumped into each other." Krillin moves his attention onto you. "Dende, this is Y/N. She's one of the Saiyans that's going to help us fight Frieza." The word help makes you cringe. You simply have a common interest in Frieza's demise. That's all.
You wave at the Namekian, completely uninterested. You tune out the rest of their conversation, having no interest in their personal affairs. You stare off into the distance, knots forming in your stomach. "Come on, Raditz." You mumble to yourself. "Where the hell are you?"
It's been at least an hour, and your nerves have only worsened. Where the hell did Raditz hide the Dragon Ball? On another planet? You hear a large thud from behind. You quickly shift your body around, your gaze landing on Raditz. He's casually carrying the Dragon Ball under one of his arms. "Finally. You sure took your sweet time, Raditz." You groan. "I'll go wake up, Vegeta. Let's get this all over with." You want to get this whole thing done as soon as possible. Before Frieza can even catch wind of it.
You move into the ship, heading straight to the room with the healing chamber. You move closer to your brother's sleeping form. "Vegeta! Wake the fuck up!"
Your brother snaps one eye open, looking even more agitated than usual. "What did I tell you? Unless Frieza's here, you are not to wake me. And I don't sense that freak anywhere." He closes his open eye. "I know there's no possibility of Raditz and Krillin being back, either. Those weaklings are far too slow. Now stop fooling around, and get back outside. I don't want to waste any more of my energy on this."
"You're so right, big brother! Like always. My mistake." You know this isn't the time to be petty, but you simply can't help yourself. You turn around, smirking as you exit the ship. You approach the others, placing your hands on your hips, raising your voice. "Alright. Let's summon this Dragon."
Gohan turns to you, gaping like a fish. "B- But what about Vegeta?"
"His royal pain in my ass refuses to get up. Because he just always knows best. So we'll just summon the Dragon without him. He'll come to his senses when he can feel its power." You hope the Dragon has a power level. Cause if not, Vegeta misses his chance at immortality. And he'll probably slaughter you for that.
"Alright." Krillin rubs the back of his neck, turning to Dende. "You heard her. Let's summon the Dragon."
Dende glances at Krillin before timidly walking up to the Dragon Balls. He begins to utter the incantation in his native tongue, but before he can finish, you stop him. "Wait!" He flinches, turning around to look at you. "Let's do this away from the ship. Just in case it causes any damage."
"But when we summon Shenron, nothing like that ever happens." Gohan tries to reason with you, but you refuse to budge.
"I don't know if you're blind, Gohan. Because in case you haven't noticed, those Dragon Balls are much larger than the set on Earth. I'm not willing to take the chance. So just move them, alright!" Man, for a second, you really sounded like Vegeta. That's a scary thought.
To appease you, they all work on moving the Dragon Balls to a more secluded location. It's not far from the ship. In a murderous rage, Vegeta would be able to get there in seconds. Once all the Dragon Balls are in place, Dende walks back to them. "Let's get on with it, Namekian!" You bark. "Preferably before Frieza comes to slaughter us all."
Dende holds his hands out and begins uttering the chant once again. As soon as he finishes, the orbs begin to glow. From what you remember from your book on wish orbs, this is a good sign. Next, the sky turns dark. From the earthling's reactions, you're assuming this is the same thing that happens with the Earth set as well. You shield your eyes as a blinding blast of light shoots from the Dragon Balls. Once the light dims, you look up to see the Dragon in all its glory. You've traveled all over the galaxy, yet you've never seen anything quite like this.
"Holy shit---" Raditz's jaw hits the floor. Well, that's a first. You don't think you've ever seen Raditz at a loss for words.
"He's huge. I've never seen anything this big in my life." Krillin's words are barely audible. So the Earth Dragon must be smaller. It makes sense when you think about it.
"This is Porunga. In your language, it means Dragon of Dreams." Dende announces. "I've never seen him before. This is the first time I've ever summoned him."
Before Dende can continue, the Dragon finally speaks. "You have gathered the Dragon balls and summoned me forth. Speak to me your heart's desires. As the maker of dreams, I shall grant you any three wishes within my power."
You shift your gaze rapidly onto the earthlings, furrowing your brows. "I thought you said we only get one wish!"
"T- That's how it works on Earth. Like you said, there was a chance these Dragon Balls would work differently." Krillin answers you with only minor hesitation.
"Wow! What should we wish for?" Gohan turns to Krillin.
"We save Vegeta's immortality for last since it's the one thing we're sure of." You shrug your shoulders, stepping back. "You runts can have the other two."
"Wait! Really?" Gohan and Raditz speak simultaneously, in very different tones. Gohan in shock, and Raditz in disbelief.
"I don't desire anything." You answer nonchalantly. "So go crazy. Just hurry up! Cause there's no chance in hell Frieza hasn't noticed this."
"Man," Krillin turns to Gohan. "What should we wish for first?" Without speaking, the earthlings nod at each other, seeming to come to a mutual understanding. Krillin shifts his gaze back onto Dende. "First, ask Porunga to bring all the people on Earth killed by the Saiyans back to life."
"You're really wasting a wish on something so pathetic? Those humans were a waste of space! Your friends will be no help against Frieza! In fact, they'll only get in the way." You thought they were going to wish for something helpful to aid you in your current predicament. Not to revive a few beginnings with power levels less than some of the bugs on this planet.
"You're the one who said we can have the other wishes," Gohan tells you. "And you said we can wish for whatever we want." You're regretting your decision more and more with each second that passes.
"Hey!" Raditz shouts, grabbing all your attention. "Why don't I get a wish? I'm the reason we have all seven Dragon Balls in the first place." He's not entirely wrong. It was your plan, but he's the one who executed it.
"Okay, Raditz." You tilt your head. "What do you want to wish for?"
"Oh," He rubs the back of his neck sheepishly. "I don't know. You're kinda putting me on the spot here!" You narrow your eyes at him. Raditz is lucky you're not strangling him right now.
"So no wish for Raditz." You nod at the earthlings. "So hurry up and waste away your wishes."
Dende nods, turning back to the Dragon. "Here goes nothing." He translates Krillin's words into his own language as he speaks to the Dragon.
"That wish is beyond my power to grant. I am limited to transporting one person back from Otherworld at a time." You've never been happier to receive a limitation in your life. "Speak again your heart's desires. I can grant you any three wishes within my power."
"We can only bring one of them back?" Gohan's voice cracks.
"I knew it was too good to be true." Krillin sighs. "There's always a catch with these guys."
"What do we do? I can't choose----" You push past the humans, moving to the front.
"What's the name of your Namekian friend?"
"Dende?" Krillin furrows his brows in confusion. "Haven't you been here?"
"Not the child, you fool! The broody one from Earth."
"Piccolo?" Gohan seems as lost as ever.
"That's who you'll resurrect."
"But why Piccolo?" The idea of betraying their other allies is really clouding their judgment. Or those two fools might not be capable of critical thinking. You remember back on Earth after Nappa killed Piccolo, that his life force was connected to another. The creator of the Earth's set of Dragon Balls. So with his resurrection, the Earth Dragon Balls should come back too. Bringing back Piccolo first should just be common sense to them. How have they survived this long? Kakarot---- for a moment, you forgot about that neanderthal.
"Because he's the least pathetic out of all your friends." He's the only one of them that could actually be useful to you. Reviving him is the perfect contingency plan for when things go wrong here. Cause you know they will.
"I- I don't know. Could we really just---" You cut Gohan off, mid-emotional brake down.
"Dende!" You bark, "Tell the Dragon to resurrect Piccolo. Now!" Dende stares at you, dumbstruck. "Do not make me ask again!" The young Namekian nods furiously, turning back to the Dragon.
As Dende translates the phrase, the two earthlings look at you. "I thought you said it was our wish?"
"It is your wish. I made the hard decision for you. You two would have wasted all our time if I didn't."
"Very well." The Dragon speaks. "Your first wish has been granted."
Gohan turns to Krillin. "What should we wish----"
"Gohan! Can you hear me?"
"Piccolo? How are you---"
"I'm speaking to you telepathically through King Kai."
You tug on Raditz, lowering your voice to a whisper. "Who the hell is King Kai?" Raditz just shrugs. He seems to be just as lost as you are.
"Use your second wish to transport me directly to your location on Namek. I'm eager for battle and want to take it all out on Frieza. The very bastard responsible for the slaughtering of my people. Summon me right away. Do you understand?" So the Namekian is suicidal. Even if Piccolo spent every waking second training in Otherworld, he's still no match for Frieza. Though, you do need all the help you can get. Well, there's another wish down the drain. "And Y/N? The others weren't too thrilled with your decision."
"Oh, no! How will I ever survive?" The sarcasm in your voice is impossible to miss.
"Well, that was until I explained to them how Earth's Dragon Balls return with me. But I'm sure you knew that already didn't you? I never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad you're with them." You scoff. "Don't get me wrong. After Frieza is taken care of, you and that brother of yours are next."
"Alright." Gohan nods. "We understand. See you soon, Piccolo!" He moves his focus onto Dende. "Tell him to transport the guy he just brought back to life here, on Namek."
An all too familiar chill runs down your spine, your mouth becoming as dry as a bone. You stare off into the distance, your eyes fixating on the dreadfully familiar power level. You'd recognize it anywhere. That's Frieza, for sure. "Y/N---- Raditz?" Krillin speaks up, breaking you out of your trance. You didn't even notice that Raditz noticed him too. "What are you guys---- ahhhh!" Krillin's eyes go wide as he finally senses Frieza. "Dende, you better hurry with that wish! I've never felt power like that before." He gulps nervously.
Dende nods rapidly before saying something in Namekian. Then there's some sort of commotion, but you can't seem to focus on it. You are far too focused on the direction of Frieza. So hyper-focused that you don't even pick up on Vegeta's energy rapidly incoming.
Twenty-Something Years Ago:
"Oof." You gasp as your body slams back against the training room's cold ground.
"Come on, Y/N." Frieza's grating voice invades your ears. "You're going to have to do better than that." You spring to your feet, launching yourself at the frost demon again. Before your fist can even make contact, he grabs your wrist. "So pathetic. My lowest level soldiers could hold their own better." He flings your small frame against the wall with ease. "I'm beginning to think all these training sessions are a waste of my time. It's been several months, and you've barely improved. From what I know about Saiyans, you should be much stronger than this by now."
You shakily stand back up, barely able to keep your balance. These past few months have been hell. When those goons told you, Frieza wanted you to get stronger. You never thought that Frieza would be the one overseeing your training. From what you remember, your father was always adamant about how Lord Frieza never does his own dirty work. So why is he making an exception with you? "Look at you." He tisks, shaking his head. "You know I'm not one to admit when I'm wrong. But I think I'll make an exception this time. I thought you were far more capable---" Before he can continue to degrade you, you strike. Finally, landing a blow on his smug face. You used so much force that his whole head turned to the side.
Frieza brings a hand up to his face, wiping off some of the blood that's oozing down his cheek. He looks at his hand, chuckling to himself. You stand in front of him, frozen in fear. "That's enough for today." He shoots a ball of energy at you, knocking you unconscious. "Zarbon!" He shouts out into the hall. "Get that other Saiyan brat!"
Raditz scampers into the room, unwilling to meet Frieza's gaze. "Take her to the healing chamber." Raditz nods, picking you up, holding you in his arms. He hates seeing you like this. He's supposed to protect you, but from where he's standing, it seems to be the other way around. He hates feeling this powerless. He hates that there's nothing he can do for you. Frieza's just too strong, far stronger than he ever imagined. His power is out of this world. All his instincts are screaming at him to attack Freiza, but Raditz is prideful, not stupid. He knows acting rashly would not help. In fact, it would probably make your situation worse. He returns to his senses, exiting the room as fast as he can, wanting to get you fixed up as soon as possible.
Frieza walks out into the hallway where Zarbon is waiting for him. "My, Lord, your face!"
"It's nothing to worry about, Zarbon." Frieza pauses, making sure Raditz is out of his sight before continuing.
"I've decided tomorrow we'll reunite Y/N and Vegeta."
"But, my Lord, I thought you said her training was lackluster? You said it would take years before you'd even consider letting her fight for the Frieza Force."
"My mind has changed, Zarbon." He moves his hand back up to his face, wiping off the rest of the fresh blood. "When she hit me, it actually hurt." Frieza would have never calculated that you were one step ahead of him the whole time. Every time he would train you, you'd only fight with half your strength. So he'd never know how strong you've truly become. You want him to underestimate you. It's the only advantage you have.
"Y/N?" Raditz places a hand on your shoulder. "Are you alright? You're--- You're shaking." You snap back to your senses, looking down at your hands. He's right. Your entire body is quivering like a child. You are acting so pathetic.
"I---" You take a deep breath. "I'm fine." You look around, refamiliarizing yourself with your surroundings. "Where's the Namekian?"
Raditz scoffs. "The kid messed up the wish. He's somewhere else on Namek."
"Hey!" You hear your brother shout. "Are you finally going to acknowledge me?" When the hell did Vegeta get here? You swear you didn't notice him before. He walks over to you. "Why the hell didn't you wake me up? You know what's at stake here!"
"I tried." You pout. "But you shooed me away."
"Well, you should have tried harder! Now we're all---" Mid rant, you cut your brother off.
"Relax. This Dragon, unlike the Earth one, grants three wishes. I told the earthlings they could have the other two. Don't worry---- I made sure to save the last one for you. I'm not an imbecile Vegeta."
"But----" He stares at you in shock. "Why didn't you wish for immortality yourself? Like we planned."
"Just the two of us having to spend all of eternity together? No, thanks. Trust me, the rest of my mortal life is plenty misery for the both of us. And after this, we can always come back and make me and Raditz immortal too."
"You still want to spend the rest of eternity with me?" Raditz's interest has peaked. After everything, you still want him by your side. He can't believe it.
"Of course. If it's just my brother and me, I'd end up losing my mind."
"Ugh, guys--- Can we hurry up." Krillin interrupts. "I don't like how close Frieza's getting."
"You!" Vegeta shouts, stalking toward Dende. "Hurry up and make the wish!" Dende shakes in fear. "Are you deaf? Do you not understand our circumstances? Frieza will be here any second!" Vegeta grabs him by the collar, holding him up in the air.
"Vegeta, stop!" Gohan shouts. "You're scaring him!"
'He should be scared. The most powerful being in our universe is coming to slaughter us! Make the wish, brat!"
"Speak your final wish. Now!" You can't decide who's more impatient. Vegeta or the Dragon.
"You're testing my patience! Tell this thing to grant me immortality! Now!" You change your mind. Vegeta is definitely more impatient.
"Dende, grant the wish!" Krillin speaks up. "I know Vegeta's evil. But compared to this Frieza guy---- he's a saint. It's our only chance of survival!"
"Okay, okay." Vegeta throws the young Namekian to the ground.
"About time you came to your senses." You're sure your brother is doing a whole super-villain monologue in his subconscious right now. You can practically hear his maniacal laughter. Dende begins to translate Vegeta's wish to Porunga. Once this wish is granted, you'll feel safe for the first time since you were a small child back on planet Vegeta. It'll all finally be over.
Once Dende finishes the translation, something different happens from the previous times. The Dragon begins to fade. That can't be good. Then the Dragon howls, almost like he's in pain. A blinding light flashes from the Dragon, similar to how it was when he first appeared. After a few seconds, you regain your sight. Only to see the Dragon Balls fall to the ground, but now they're made of stone.
"What the hell?" You walk over to one of the spears, running your hand along it. Yep, it's definitely stone. You move your gaze back to Dende. "What just happened?"
Dende falls to the ground, landing on his knees. His eyes, brimming with tears. "The Grand Elder. The Grand Elder has passed out of this world." Shit. That means----- fuck. None of you stand a chance against Frieza now.
"You're lying. You just don't want me to get my wish!"
"No." You shake your head. "The Dragon balls only exist as long as their creator does, Vegeta. Remember?"
"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fucking shit!" Raditz sticks his hands in his hair as he begins to hyperventilate.
"Raditz." You place your hands on his shoulders, turning him toward you. "Calm down."
"Calm down? How the hell can I calm down? We're all going to fucking die!" You take your hand, slapping him across the face. He takes a deep breath, rubbing his cheek with his hand. He seems to have come back to his senses. "Thanks." Now that you have dealt with Raditz's meltdown, you have a much more terrifying issue to deal with. An enraged Vegeta.
"This is all your fault!" Vegeta shouts, making his way to you. "If you behaved like an adult for once in your life and ensured I got my wish, we wouldn't be in this mess!"
"I'm the one who can't act like an adult? You're the one throwing a temper tantrum over a wish! And if I knew the old guy was gonna kick the bucket, I would have made sure your immortality was our first wish!" You turn to the earthlings. "Why the hell did neither of you think to mention that the Grand Elder was dying?" They both jump at your screaming. "Do you two morons ever use your brains?" This is the vicious cycle of blaming everyone but yourself. And taking zero responsibility for your own actions. You and Vegeta have far more in common than you'd care to admit.
And to only make matters worse, you can now see Frieza in the distance approaching you rather than just sensing him. "Y/N." Vegeta turns to you. "Go back to the ship."
"What? That's bullshit!"
"Do not argue with me."
"Is this because of my injury? It's almost entirely healed."
"Almost is not good enough!" Vegeta snaps at you.
"You need me! Even with my ailment, I'm still more powerful than the three runts, and Raditz combined!"
"Y/N," He sighs. "Please---- before it's too late for you to leave." You give in, nodding. "Once you've been healed, you can fight to your heart's content, alright." You take off in the direction of the ship just in the nick of time. This goes against every one of your morals. Saiyans don't run away from battle. Even when they're no match for their opponent. Some would say it was stubbornness, but nothing is more important than a Saiyans pride.
-
How will Vegeta and the others hold their own against Frieza? Will Y/N even listen to Vegeta's orders? And when will Goku be healed? Find out in the next chapter of The Princess of All Saiyans.
Additional tags: future chapters will have chapter warnings because both Wolffe and Talia go through it 😭
Chapter summary: Wolffe makes his appearance 🐺
Chapter 2
“We don’t have time”. “The air is getting a bit stale, sir.” “We’re just clones.” “No one is coming for us.” “We’re expendable.” Wolffe woke up from the nightmare he was having and for a moment forgot where he was before he realized he was in his new quarters. He was safe. Safe and alive. Wolffe quickly got up and sat on the edge of the bed as he caught his breath. Every time he had the same dream Wolffe tried his best to not let it affect him. He was the commander of the 104th. He had to stay strong for his men so he buried his feelings but when he was alone Wolffe lived through that day over and over again. The memory and trauma of losing most of his entire battalion will stick with him for the rest of his life. Wolffe ran a hand over his face and through his hair before standing up to put the armor he took off back on. As he was finishing up there was a bang on his door and a voice screaming at him from the other side. “Wolffe, wake up!” Wolffe rolled his eyes as he went over and opened the door. Boost and Sinker were on the other side waiting for him and he scowled at them. “The kriff you want?” “Just wanted to make sure you were up”, Sinker says. Wolffe adjusted his belt and walked out with Boost and Sinker following behind him. “Well I’m up.” Sinker and Boost looked at one another but didn’t say anything as they continued to follow Wolffe to the command center. “Is everyone on board?” Sinker joined Wolffe. “Yes, sir. We’re just waiting for your command to take off.” Wolffe nodded in acknowledgement. “Very good. Comm Zero and tell him to take off.” “Yes, sir.” Boost and Sinker went their separate ways and Wolffe joined up with the general as he walked into the command center. The kel dor looked up and acknowledged Wolffe when he saluted him. “General.” “At ease, commander. I assume that everything is in order?” “Yes, sir. We should be taking off momentarily.” Plo Koon nodded his head and went back to studying something on the screen. “Anything else, sir?” “That is all, Wolffe. You may go now.” Wolffe saluted once more. “Yes, general.” The kel dor had always been a mystery to Wolffe and with him being a Jedi it made him even more mysterious but that didn’t stop them from fighting alongside one another. Wolffe walked over to the controls to make sure everything was under control then watched through the viewing window and watched as they launched into space.
Once they were on their way to the next planet Wolffe joined Sinker in the hangar where his men were waiting. All of them stood at attention when he entered and stood still as Wolffe walked up to the group. “Welcome to the 104th battalion. My name is Commander Wolffe and right here is Sergeant Sinker. Later on you will also be meeting the general but for now you will be dealing with us. During your time here you will report to either me or Sergeant Sinker and you will do as we say. Now, I won’t waste your time or mine so get to work.” The men saluted Wolffe and Sinker. A bunch of yes sir were shouted and the men went their separate ways. Wolffe then turned to Sinker. “Keep an eye on them. I don’t want the shinies fucking anything up.” “Got it Commander.” Wolffe looks back at his men for a moment before walking away and going about his day.
You woke up with a start when there was a sudden knock on your door. You grabbed the vibro blade you kept on your leg and quietly approached the door. “Who is it?”, you asked with a cautious tone. “It’s me. Jax.” You let out a sigh of relief and put your blade back before opening the door. Jax stood there with a tray of what you assumed was food from the mess hall. “You missed dinner so I figured I would bring you this.” You looked at him with a shocked look. “Wha-What time is it?” “0900.” You rubbed the rest of your sleep out of your eyes and took the tray. “Thanks. I didn’t miss anything important did I?” Jax nodded his head. “You’re all good. Have a good rest of your night. Oh, and I expect to see you in the medbay tomorrow. Gotta perform some physicals on the new guys.” “Yeah. I’ll uh..see you tomorrow then.” Jax walks away and you slide your door closed before sitting down. You take a bite of your food and while it wasn’t great it was better than what you had been served in the past. You eat the rest of your food and set the tray to the side. You then unpack your things and after you put everything away you get ready for bed. After you finish you climb into bed and go on your holopad for a while before setting it to the side. You turn off your light and lie down. You lie there for a while before you close your eyes and right back into a deep sleep.
I have more ideas for my Unicron Redemption AU. :)
First post (general timeline and what started this) here: https://sturthepotofmadness.tumblr.com/post/698121264982786048/i-just-thought-of-a-crazy-transformers-au-that
Second post (Skyquake & Insecticons) here: https://sturthepotofmadness.tumblr.com/post/700220416473645056/i-wanted-to-add-more-to-my-accidental-unicron
LONG POST AHEAD
I forgot the relics existed in the first post (: I have to address them now
Also the Rescue Bots... why didn’t I cover the Rescue Bots in the Skyquake post?
(fuck, what would happen first, uh--)
We’re doing the Rescue Bots first.
Rescue Bots:
As per canon, they crash land off the coast of Maine and near Griffin Rock. As not with canon, Skyquake is the first one to make it to the crashed ship
Some humans join him and some of the largest drones help get the ship out of the water and onto the shores of Griffin Rock.
Unicron decides to force-ghost his way to see what’s up as Skyquake and the humans explore the ship
Skyquake and Unicron are the ones to find the current in-stasis Chase, Heatwave, Boulder, and Blades first. Skyquake attempts to get them out of stasis, but that fails.
The humans finally rejoin them as Unicron attempts. He wants to only do one, just in case, but he accidentally wakes up all of them so they now have to deal with these four, relatively young (they were in stasis for like four million years) bots freaking out because what the hell did they wake up to and HOW???
They get an explanation from Skyquake, since the humans are too busy vibrating with excitement and Unicron doesn’t want to scare them again.
The RBs are mainly told how Unicron cares for these organics, Unicron is an actual good mech to these tiny organics, they have no clue how to recreate blue Energon, the war hasn’t even touched this planet yet, and that the RBs are free to leave Earth if they so wish (once their ship is repaired).
The RBs ask to talk alone, that is granted and Skyquake goes help Unicron with calming down the hyper little guys that followed them.
In the end, the RBs agree to stay on Earth and join Skyquake as general Cybertronian inhabitants that kind of follow Unicron and these tiny organics.
No, I’m not explaining the Unicron part.
Oh, and they work all across the planet and later all across the colony planets thing, so no Burns family. Maybe they’re there, but they aren’t important.
Anyways, RELIC TIME--
I’m only including the eleven that are in the Iacon relics category on TFWiki and one (technically two) other thing randomly on Earth. I’m just gonna go down the list.
Apex Armor:
It was found in Greenland roughly a month before Unicron’s body was first entered and humans had zero idea on how to use it, so kept in storage for the longest time.
When Unicron finally began to like these strange organics that called his body home, the humans went “oh yea, that thing we found” and showed it to Unicron. He did not understand either.
Then Skyquake woke up and, after gaining his trust, showed him the collapsed armor. He identified it as the Apex Armor and they promptly gave it to the seeker.
Skyquake was flustered. Unicron laughed.
Force Field Generator (now on Blue Shield):
Like in canon, it was found in a random cave system.
The humans showed Unicron the Blue Shield, he did not understand. (Expect that for all the non-Thirteen Prime relics)
Skyquake was shown next. He grabbed it, attempted to use it, then accidentally activated its force field function.
The humans immediately began backwards engineering the Blue Shield with scans and Dark Energon. That’s what helped make the force field to help Unicron free himself.
Forge of Solus Prime:
Some scanning drones found the weapon buried on some plateau and immediately alerted the humans to something being weird.
It takes, like, three months, but the humans and some digging/mining drones manage to get the relic out of the Earth.
Skyquake has zero clue on what the relic is, but Unicron sure does recognize it.
After learning that it’s just a big hammer and completely useless to them, they put the Forge in some vault and forget about it.
Liquefier:
The relic is found off the coast of Griffin Rock by some diving drones and, like always, the humans are alerted to the weirdness.
While retrieving the relic, it accidentally activates and Unicron freaks out because I CAN.
The Liquefier is promptly shut off by some sort of spark pulse burst thing directed straight at it by Unicron. It also caused a small earthquake, but the humans (and the RBs) managed to deal with the aftermath.
The humans put the Liquefier in some sort of stasis chamber and seal it away.
Omega Key One: Egypt:
(yes, I’m giving the keys code names)
Using an altered scanner that’s like the scanner they used to find out that Unicron’s arm was hollow, they manage to find this strange reading in a pharaoh’s tomb, use some drones to open it, and find the first Omega Key.
They humans show Unicron, Skyquake, and the RBs the Egyptian Omega Key, all of them do not know what the Omega Keys are so are unable to recognize it. The best thing they got is Skyquake suggesting that it was some machine made that only works with some other machine they don’t have.
It gets shoved away in some vault.
Omega Key Two: Lake Erie:
I’m aware the lake is unnamed in canon, let me name it, ok?
The key is found by some lake/beach goers who decided to go to Lake Erie and promptly found the second Omega Key.
Some scientist/engineer people take the key, comment on the fact there’s two of the weird keys, and promptly put it with the first one.
What else are they going to do with it?
Omega Key Three: Olympic National Forest:
Guess what the scanner drones found weird?
Like with the Forge, they take a long while to actually dig out the key.
Someone comments on how there’s now three things that are exactly identical and promptly shove it with the other two.
We’ll come back to Smokescreen...
Phase Shifter:
Oh yea, this thing is under fucking Manhattan.
Guess what the drones found? At least they only had to dig into the wall and it only takes the same time as canon.
The humans show Unicron, Skyquake, and the RBs the Phase Shifter and Chase is the one to recognize what it is.
The Phase Shifter is shoved/gifted to Chase. Chase is confused, Unicron laughed, the other RBs take a moment to process...
Skyquake: You too, huh?
Polarity Gauntlets:
Guess what the drones found?
They dig up the gauntlets and promptly ask the local Cybertronians about it.
Skyquake recognizes it as a design made during the war, but he has no clue how it got to Earth. Boulder makes an off hand comment on how it could be useful in rescues and the gauntlets were promptly given to Boulder.
He’s embarrassed, the others think it’s kind of funny.
Resonance Blaster:
Guess what the drones found? That’s right, this is another underground relic... joy.
They show the Resonance Blaster to the Cybertronians, Skyquake once again identifies it, and makes sure the humans know that it is a weapon.
The Resonance Blaster is promptly locked away and forgotten.
Spark Extractor:
Guess what the drones found? It took a bit to dig up.
They showed the Cybertronians, all of them sans Unicron promptly freaked, and they destroyed it.
The Spark Extractor is better off ruined, anyways.
Seismic-Shock Warhead:
Flamesnort... exists. And I don’t like that name. Because RiD2015 can go fuck itself, we’re calling her Ignis.
The Rescue Bots, using their ship’s scanner, notice there’s a bot in stasis and decide to go there to see if they can find this in stasis bot. They inform Skyquake before they leave, but he doesn’t join them.
The RBs get to the island off of England and, after a bit of searching, find the in-stasis Ignis and the warhead. They take one look at the bomb and decide to... request Skyquake to come over.
He does so and identifies the warhead and that it’s, well, a weapon. They get the humans involved and they promptly take the weapon.
The moment any of them touch the weapon, Ignis suddenly wakes up and turns to face them. She sees the ruined Decepticon mark on Skyquake and the not-so-ruined RB marks on the RBs and asks what happened.
Skyquake explains to Ignis the situation as the humans and maybe Boulder take the weapon out of the cavern to put into the vault and forgotten about.
Ignis is... kinda forced to join them, because where else is there to go? She ends up sticking around with the Rescue Bots mostly, helping them with rescues and what not.
Star Saber:
The humans find this weird, indestructible rock with a sword stuck in it and ask the Cybertronians about it.
Skyquake, Ignis, and the RBs don’t recognize it.
Unicron immediately recognizes the blade as the Star Saber and now he has a choice to make.
After some thought, he tells the humans that it’s a weapon from when he and his brother were in conflict.
The humans hear the word weapon and promptly stuff it in the same vault with the other weapons.
Unicron does not like the fact that the Star Saber is so close to him, but he can’t really do anything about that so...
Omega Key Four: Smokescreen:
Yea, time for this idiot.
Like with the RBs, he crash lands on Earth, but no one knows how the fuck he got so close to Earth. Unicron didn’t sense him, the Rescue Bots’s ship didn’t detect him or a SpaceBridge, the humans didn’t notice anything wrong... now blame Alpha Trion.
(Not that they can blame him, they don’t even know it’s his fault. Plus, Alpha Trion thought the Autobots and Decepticons would be on Earth by this time, apparently not, as he is now learning.)
Skyquake, Blades, and some large transport drones are sent to retrieve Smokescreen and the pod he landed with.
They get him out and Smokescreen is so confused.
Smokescreen gets a rundown of the situation as they go back to wherever the Rescue Bots are stationed.
Like with Ignis, there’s no where for him to go, so just ends up staying with the Rescue Bots and Skyquake, though he mostly follows Skyquake around.
Tox-En Volcano Edition:
Some drones encountered this weird capsule while collecting obsidian/hardened lava and alerted the humans.
The drones and some humans managed to get the Tox-En capsule out of the ground, opened it, and asked the Cybertronians about it. All of them sans Unicron freak out and the humans promptly punt the Tox-En into the lava.
Tox-En Ireland Edition:
Yea, there’s two Tox-En locations on Earth. Thanks, RBA.
This is also the technical thirteenth “relic” on Earth.
Anyways, heavily altered “X Marks the Bot” follows and when they get to the Tox-En, they take it and promptly yeet it into a volcano.
This post is already long as fuck, so sadly I’m not getting to the interactions the Autobots and Decepticons have with Unicron, the humans, and the Cybertronians that stick with the humans/Unicron. Next time, though, that’ll be the interaction post!
i would never fall unless it’s you i fall into (Din Djarin/Reader)
Chapter 4
length: 2,457
author’s note: sorry for the delay, friends, I had this finished and posted on ao3 forever ago but forgot to upload here. as an apology the next chapter will be uploaded in the next couple days :0)
Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3
The first thing you notice as you enter the atmosphere of the planet is that Takodana is covered in lush green. It reminds you a little of your home planet, some nameless moon, that green growing smaller and smaller as you hurtled away into space in the ship of a couple you didn’t know. Just that they were the parents of a young Force-sensitive wanting a better life for their child than they could provide. Happened to be there the very day you ran, took you for nothing, said one more mouth for a while longer wouldn’t hurt. And that’s about where your luck ran out; they were headed to Coruscant. You wish they could’ve dropped you at any other planet. At the time you’d been excited.
The kid was up in the cockpit with Mando as he’d brought the ship out of hyperspace and you’d been seated on your cot because your clumsy ass would totally fall with any turbulence. But there’s hardly any. And you’re so curious. He hasn’t let you in the cockpit as of yet, not wanting you to strain your leg climbing the ladder. But it feels pretty good and it’s not a particularly tall ladder anyway. You’ve not watched a landing in a long time, the kinds of ships you could afford typically not having any kind of window to look out of. So you climb the ladder as silently as you can before Mando can tell you not to.
He’s in the pilot’s seat, and you don’t see Grogu, but you can hardly think about that as you let out a soft gasp at the view. That’s all it takes for Mando to know you’re up here and the chair spins so fast you wonder if you possibly startled him. Probably not used to anyone but himself and his son being on the ship. Loose on the ship, at least. The kid is on his lap. You barely take that in before your gaze snaps back to the viewport. So green.
The ship lurches slightly as it enters the atmosphere, and just as you’d predicted you stumble back, but there’s nothing behind you but an open hatch. Your heart catches in your throat as you fall backwards but almost immediately you feel yourself caught by a familiar power; just not your own. The child has his arm outstretched, eyes squeezed shut as he focuses every sense on keeping you stationary. Mando jumps up, Grogu held in one arm, and clasps your wrist, pulling you upright. You remember the moment you were sprinting for the ship and the child seemed to hold the door open the extra second you needed. You’d forgotten in the ensuing chaos.
“He can use the Force?” You whisper. Mando isn’t listening though, shoves the now-exhausted Grogu into your hands, guiding you to the passenger seat.
He practically pushes you to sit, says, “I was in the middle of landing.”
Ah, yes. You kind of interrupted at a bad time. You clip your seatbelt and clutch the youngling to your chest as Mando slows the too-rapid descent.
“Sorry,” you breathe. Truly you do feel bad but you’re once again captivated by the view. There’s some large building way in the distance, but he’s bringing you down in the middle of a forest, a tiny clearing with just enough space to land. You barely notice when the landing gear touches ground, only sure when the engines power off. You unclip and the silver wall of armor stands, gesturing for you to go down the ladder first.
“Shouldn’t have come up here yet,” he reprimands gently as he takes Grogu back. “Careful going down. Don’t want to rip that leg open again. It was a nasty shot.”
You go slow, then watch as he slides down the ladder with the kid in one arm. How does it look so cool when he does that? You refocus when he opens what is most definitely a fully stocked weapons cabinet. Holy stars. Is this guy a one man army? Well, army of two, if you include the baby. Which you don’t, he’s a kriffing baby for crying out loud. Irresponsible dad.
“Gonna catch the bounty first, get him in carbonite. After, we’ll go to the market over by Maz’s place. Take care of the kid while I’m gone.” Roger that. Said kid is waddling over to you while his dad is doing boring weapon nonsense, and you scoop him up when he lifts his arms at you for upsies. He chirps, still sleepy, and you smile at him, scrunching your nose at his cute half-awake expression. When you look back to Mando you catch him pausing to watch the two of you, but he snaps back to preparing for his hunt.
“Shouldn’t be any issues for you here, we’re in the middle of nowhere right now and only I can unlock the door from the outside.” He adds, “Just stay in the ship and you’ll be fine.”
“I guess this is kinda like my trial run,” you comment. “When you return we’ll see if I’m fit for the job.”
You bounce Grogu in your lap, say to him in a serious voice, “You’ll let your daddy know how we do, huh, little guy?” He coos at you, then reaches out for Mando, who notices almost immediately and strides over, crouching down to tell him, “Be good for them, okay? I mean it, kiddo. Love you.”
He rubs the little guy’s peach-fuzzy head and nods to you.
“Should be back in a few hours.”
With that, he turns to leave, pressing the button to open the hatch, walking down the ramp in a flurry of cape, an impressively large rifle slung over one shoulder. He closes the door behind him with a press to his vambrace, sealing you and the kid in.
“He doesn’t say much, does he?” You comment to Grogu, who gurgles at you. “That’s fine by me,” you continue, “I’m not much of a talker either. Sometimes it’s nice to have peace and quiet, yeah?”
The little dude doesn’t answer, obviously, but you feel a nudge towards agreement in your mind. Right. He wields the Force. Unusual for it to be so strong in one so young, but not unheard of. He’s already better than you with the mental part of it; you excel in the physical, moving objects, affecting the space around you, but you’ve never been able to do the mind tricks or thought projection. Though the Padawans would sometimes tease that you could project your every thought through your face alone. Your chest aches thinking of them.
A small hand taps yours, deep amber eyes drawing your attention, an artificial though not unwelcome sense of calm flooding your body. And then a very loud rumble from his tummy breaks the silence.
“Okay,” you laugh, “Let’s see what we can find for food around here.”
You discover a tiny kitchen tucked away in the corner of the hold, hidden behind a panel in the wall that slides open with the push of a button. There’s a mini refrigerator, cooktop and oven, single counter space, and pantry. The pantry is… sad. Aside from a couple more of those purple apples there are only ration bars and freeze-dried food. You get a ration bar for each of you and an apple too.
When you can’t find any kitchen utensils you root around in your pack for your pocket knife so you can cut the fruit into smaller chunks for the kid like Mando had. He eats like he’s been starved for days. (He had breakfast a few hours ago. The kid is a sarlacc pit, you’re starting to realize.) When you’re both done he goes back to playing with his froggy toy, and you have only one thing on your mind.
“Grogu, do you mind if I hold your toy for a moment? I’ll give it right back, I promise.”
He considers your request but ultimately agrees, handing it over to you. You take it, then put your hands in your lap, leaving it suspended in the air. With a flick of your fingers it starts to bounce around, goofy legs flopping as you make it dance. Grogu is delighted, clapping his little hands before thinking a little harder about it. His gaze flicks between you and his frog before he crawls forward, placing a hand on your knee. He understands what you’re showing him, that the two of you both wield the Force. And then he decides that your turn to play is over and snatches the frog from the air, pulling it to him using the Force before plopping back onto the floor, the stuffed toy in his hands once more.
It had been around midday when you’d landed on this planet, so when the sun sets and Mando still isn’t back you start to worry a bit. It’s been more than a few hours, but there’s nothing you can do about it but wait. Eventually you feed the kid dinner, give him a bath in the ‘fresher sink, then put him to bed in his hammock over his dad’s bunk.
Now that you’re alone you tidy up from the day, hiding the kitchenette away and putting away the toys he’d played with. You wonder how much longer Mando will be, if something’s happened. As you’re finishing up your foot taps something partially hidden, a little silver ball that looks like it’s been unscrewed from a part of the ship. You slip it into your pocket to give back later–whenever he comes back. But what if he doesn’t?
You try to shake the thought from your head, but is it really that far-fetched? What is a Mandalorian bounty hunter doing with a Force-sensitive youngling? Especially a clearly powerful, yet untrained youngling? Was Grogu an outcast, like you, unfit to be a Jedi?
The main lights in the hold switch off with a click, scheduled to align with this planet’s day-night cycle. You plop onto your cot with a heavy sigh. At least you can be sure the kid didn’t go off like a Force-bomb, injuring multiple masters and students. That was all you.
You don’t even know if Kala survived. You can still see the trickle of blood from her head where she’d hit against the wall when you’d exploded. You hadn’t meant to, it just all happened so fast when the Masters said you had to stop using the Force, and you tried to explain that you couldn’t, that the power filled up your body when left unused until it burst out on its own. But they didn’t listen. You couldn’t make your words come out so they understood. And you got mad. You just wanted them to understand. They never understood you. But how can you blame them, when you don’t even understand yourself?
As you lay in your cot, spiraling down old memories, your fingers bump that cool metal in your pocket. You roll it between your thumb and forefinger, the chill of it grounding. Before it can warm in your grasp you flip it into the air, holding it there above you in the dim light. No, you don’t really think Mando abandoned Grogu with you. He’d told the kid he loved him right before leaving. He’s gonna come back. Or he could be hurt, maybe even killed by the bounty. Stupid, irresponsible dad.
In the dark and alone of the ship, it feels good to use your power. Normally, you do the bare minimum to protect yourself and keep it dormant—under control—inside of you, but you miss using it like you could as a child. Carefree and curious. No guilt to make you feel like you shouldn’t use it at all.
Everything is so still and quiet that the innocuous sound of the ship’s ramp lowering has you reacting like a shot’s gone off. You scramble for your holster, slipping your blaster—returned to you after he hired you, to protect yourself and the kid, he’d said—into your hand, leveling it at the open door. An unfamiliar man stumbles in and you click the safety off, aim, finger twitching over the trigger… and then Mando follows after, his own blaster trained on the guy’s back. The Twi’lek looks over at you, sneering, but the silver-armored man behind him snaps, “Don’t look at them. Puck didn’t specify they needed you alive.”
You feel like you can breathe again as he’s led into a different chamber you’ve not seen before, and you put the safety on before holstering your gun again. Behind the now-closed door there’s the sound of muffled words, a hiss of air, then silence.
Mando comes back out, helmet turning to scan the hold, you. Then you watch as that helmet tilts, not quite looking at you anymore, to your left. You turn your head. See that silver ball still floating over your bed.
“Oh,” you say, watching as it drops, bounces to the floor, rolls until it taps his boot and stops. “Um. I can explain.”
“Are you a Jedi?”
The question catches you so off-guard that you choke out a laugh, an exaggerated sounding, “Ha!” You slap your hands over your mouth, uncover it to say, “No. They didn’t want me.” Cover your lips again with both hands. So smooth. You are so good at acting like a normal person.
That helmet tilts and there’s the barest sound that crackles through the modulator, a choked-off huff. Is he laughing at you?
You lower your hands again, fingers brushing and then pinching the hem of the warn fabric of his shirt that you’re wearing, rubbing the material between your fingers to calm yourself.
“That was more than a few hours,” you say, trying to regain some semblance of dignity. “Grogu’s in his hammock, safe and sound. Did I pass my trial run?” A tense moment passes and to fill the silence you ask, “Did something happen? Um, did you get hurt?”
“No,” he says, and you’re at least ninety percent sure there’s amusement in his tone when he elaborates, “The quarry was just further out there than I thought. Was annoying to catch, too. Talked a lot.”
He shifts his weight slightly from one foot to the other. You feel him considering you, shift your gaze away, then back as he turns on his heel, presses a button to check on the kid in his bunk. After running a hand lightly over the sleeping child’s head, satisfied that he’s safe, he moves to go to the cockpit. As he places a hand on the ladder, he says over his shoulder, “Get some sleep. We’ll go to the market in the morning.”
Where Do We Go Now?
A She-ra: Princess of Power 2018 fanfiction
The war is finally over. Prime is dead, the hive mind is broken, and everyone is reunited with their loved ones. However, there are some questions left unanswered. What will be the fate of Catra and Hordak? What are these new memories Wrong Hordak has? What is Etheria's place in the wider universe? Where do we go now?
___________________
Chapter eight! This compensates for the lack of Entrapdak last chapter. Btw out of all the chapters so far this one is my favorite. <3
Chapter 8: In the Palm of My Hand
“Goodnight, Princess.”
“Goodnight, Hordak.”
Hordak turned around and realized that he had nowhere to sleep. That was not a problem, he slept in the woods before. He will just find a tree to climb into, but it is supposed to rain that evening. Maybe TD has room in his tent. Before Hordak could go look for him he was caught by Entrapta.
“Wait, could you stay with me tonight? You don’t even have to be in the same bed as me just please stay.”
Looking into her pleading eyes, how could he say no to her?
“That is completely fine, princess, I would be happy to share space with you.”
When they entered, Hordak noticed a pile of pillows on her cot.
Even in a war, she still finds a way to be comfortable. Cute, Hordak thought.
Entrapta kicked off her shoes and removed her mask and gloves before swiftly setting up a makeshift nest for Hordak to sleep on.
“Thank you, princess, I am eternally grateful.”
“Oh please, it is the least I could do after you saved my life, twice.” Entrapta flopped down on her cot and bundled herself in a cocoon of blankets, pillows, and hair.
“Goodnight Hordak.”
“Goodnight, Starlight.”
“Hey, that one is new.”
“Do you not like it?”
“I love it.”
_____________________________________________________________
Entrapta woke up from her slumber and opened her eyes to see her beloved sleeping in a nest of her pink and purple pillows. Entrapta then noticed metal poking out of his black sleeve.
Oh crap! I completely forgot! Entrapta thought.
She sat next to Hordak and started to carefully roll up his sleeve. She saw the armor she had made him a nearly year ago; however, there were green and black wires branching across the metal. She deduced they were part of a new power source Horde Prime implemented after Hordak had lost the original crystal.
“What are you doing?” Hordak turned his head to look at her. His voice was deeper than it usually was, which made Entrapta’s cheeks a shade darker.
“Inspecting this wiring on your armor. I was so scatterbrained yesterday I completely forgot about it. You still have that crystal, right?”
“I could never part with it.”
“Want me to replace the wiring with it?”
“That would be favorable.”
Hordak stood up from the ground being trailed by a series of popping and cracks from his sorry bones. He hesitated before taking off his white tabard and black undershirt baring his chest for Entrapta to see.
Entrapta was surprised to see how muscular he has become, but it was not because of physical labor. Hordak explained to her that during the hours he sleeps the energy he gets from eating rips the muscles manually so they can grow back stronger. Horde Prime must have put some sort of chemical that enhances muscle growth inside the rations he consumes. Not that she was complaining, quite the opposite. She then noticed two scars on his chest, one below his right pectoral and one left of his abs. The two scars looked electrical and caused a crater in his skin.
“Where did those scars come from?”
“They are from my fight with King Scorpio, he blasted me with his electricity twice, but I did not feel them because of the adrenaline rush. It is not too bad, especially when compared to King Scorpio.” Hordak grinned.
“Alright, let me see what we are working with.” Entrapta sat upon a chair made of hair as she poked and prodded Hordak and the armor.
“Huh, it looks like most of the wires are on the surface, but it looks like I need to take off the armor so I can properly remove the wiring. May I?”
“You… may.”
Her hair then split up into hundreds of small tendrils that unlatched, unhooked, and unhinged every piece of armor until Hordak was completely bare above his belt line.
Anxiety started to build in Hordak that someone would walk in, see him and mock him, or worse, run away in disgust. He knew Entrapta would never judge him for his body. She was always so accepting and even fascinated by his defect. It was the others he was worried about. Without ever interacting with most of them, they do not seem like the most accepting group, unlike Entrapta.
After a while, Entrapta finished the removal process. She pieced Hordak back together and inserted the crystal back into its proper place. Hordak inhaled deeply with a new life. The wires were a weak energy source and only allowed the armor to run on 40%, but the crystal made him feel like he could hold the entire universe in the palm of his hand.
“Are you feeling ok?”
Instead of responding, he picked up Entrapta and held him above his head with one arm. Holding his entire universe in the palm of his hand.
“I’ll take that as a yes.” Entrapta burst out laughing as Hordak lowered her into a bridal carry.
Just then, Adora opened the door of the tent. Who awkwardly informed them breakfast was ready.
TSSM Enter Janice AU
I just want to say that this au has a bit of @hermesserpent-stuff 's Time Traveling au to this one just for the relationship between Peter and Tombstone being friends.
The short summary is that there's a new girl, Janice, in Peter's school that he befriends and looking for her father, but doesn't know his name. However, there's now a new villain named Beetle that Spiderman now has to deal with but her actions cause Tombstone and his group to be wary of her.
There is a new girl, Janice, in school and Peter is tasked to help her get settled in.
She sadly doesn't have much info about him but she's determined to find him
As they talk she tells him that she lives with her aunt and that the reason why she wanted to come to New York was to find her dad, to actually meet him at least, even though her mom never revealed his name and her aunt refuses to say anything about him
Peter supports her and tells her that he can help if he can.
A few days later, Peter sneaked into a building where some robbers were trying to get away. Before he can get to them. Someone in a green suit and purple armor and wings came to beat them up
Spiderman thought that maybe it was another hero
Sadly they were going to go away with the money so he had to stop them
They tell him that she is the Beetle and escapes, but without the money
The next day, Peter goes to Tombstone's place to hang out and tells him about his week, with how his Aunt May is doing, school work, his new tech, the new girl, and the new villain.
He then asks Tombstone if they have a new bad guy. Tombstone tells him that they don't but he will keep an eye on her just in case
The other days he learns more about Janice like how her mom came from a poor family but managed to get a good job but ended up getting sick and passing away recently
Because of that. she now lives with her aunt and she moved because of her job but Janice managed to convince her to on New York
As Spiderman, it's almost the same but the Beetle is giving him a hard time since she gets away too easily
Her aunt also works on tech but is very secretive about her work, which Peter is sad about but would like to know more about her work
The next weeks were mostly the same and Jancie joins his group of friends (although is bossy but stands up against for them)
Tombstone tells him that he has his guys on the watch for her since she has interfered with some of the Enforcers' work too
One day Janice goes to Peter, excited about how she finally found something about her dad
Her aunt got drunk and slipped his name but before she told him his name she had to leave. As she leaves, she yells that she will message him later
Then that night Beetle and the Enforcers were in a standoff. Beetle accident got stopped so the Enforcers are trying to capture her. One of her bombs malfunction next to a truck and accidentally cause an explosion that really injured Fancy Dan
Shocker tells Ox to help Dan while he finishes off the Beetle. He then reports his to Hammerhead who tells Tombstone who is furious
Shocker and Ox are enraged
Montana is following her but is secretly guiding her to a hideout. Hammerhead is also waiting there too
Meanwhile, Peter is getting out of Conner's lab late and is worried that his phone is dying as he forgot to fully charge it
He later hears on the radio of a bus that the Beetle and the Enforcers were fighting
He then gets off the bus and goes to an alley and change
As he's changing he gets a call
He looks and its Janice
As he answers he hears a lot of noise in the back and asks if she's OK
She tells him that she messed up a heist and is being followed but the Shocker
Peter is shocked that Janice is the Beelte and tells him that since she knows that he takes pictures of Spiderman, to contact him to please help her
Peter says that he will be on her way
Janice thanks him and tells him that if anything happens to her to find her dad
Peter asks how he was going to do that
Janice then tells him that the name she heard was "Lonnie Thompso-"
Janice gets disconnected
Peter thought about it for a while and is horrified that Janice might be Tombstone's daughter
He calls him but Tombstone tells him that he is busy. Peter tells him that he has important info about the Beetle and that he's going to her right now
Tombstone tells him that Montana is on her trail already
Peter tells him that he caught up with her
But he gets surprised by Shocker but his phone dies as he yells
Tombstone believes that Beetle must have done something to him since Peter has info about her and that she needed to take him out
This gets personal for him and asks Hammerhead for his location
Montana manages to get Beetle into a warehouse where Hammerhead knocks her out
They tie her up to a chair and wait for Tombstone who arrives later
Spiderman is on a roof knocked out because of Shocker but quickly gets up and follows the destruction
Meanwhile, with Tombstone, he walks around Beetle, telling her that she has been a nuisance to his empire and got personal when she got a certain someone (Peter)
She struggles with the chains as she explains that her aunt forces her to steal stuff and that she has no choice
They cared less
Hammerhead removes her mask
As Tombstone was about to talk, he freezes
Spiderman comes running in as he yells at them to not hurt her but notices Tombstone's stance
Peter has seen photos of her mother and hopes that's why he's not moving and introduces Janice to L Thompson Lincoln
Montana is confused but Hammerhead reads the room and drags Montana away to a distance and has an idea to what is happening
When they leave, Peter takes off his mask which surprises Janice, and unties her
Then he introduces them as father and daughter
Tombstone asks why Janice was doing any of this, and if this has anything to do with her mother getting back at him in some way
Janice tells him that her mother passed away which did hurt him but she tells him the truth about her aunt
Janice also tells her that her mother didn't want to put any burden on him so she decided to move somewhere else but still told Janice about him but never mentioned his name. Janice dreamed of meeting him and was excited to finally go to New York and looked for any clue. She then tells him everything about her aunt and how bad it was living with her
Tombstone tells her that she wouldn't have to worry about her anymore because he decided to take care of her instead
Janice is speechless but tackles him into a hug
Time passes, Tombstone gets custody of Janice and is living with him
It was a bit rough for them since they still don't know each other that well. Thankfully Peter helps them since Tombstone has never raised a child and Janice doesn't know how to approach him sometimes. Peter also had to explain why he's very close to Tombstone and their identity
Janice admits she rather not be the Beetle but only for emergencies with Spiderman
They did accept the apology but told her to please stay away from their job so no one else will get hurt like that
She also apologizes to the Enforcers and explained her situation.
Hammerhead is stuck with babysitting duty sometimes and they both aren't happy about it. She thinks she's old and strong enough to take care of herself. Hammerhead thinks that Jancie is too self confident and stuborn that makes his job harder and the fact that it's his boss' daughter, he can't really complain that much. Also the fact that she's Tomestone's daughter makes things dangerous that she can be targeted which stresses Hammerhead more.
Peter thought they didn't like each other. Janice likes to complain to him and he heard that Hammerhead goes to Montana's bar to complain. They even gave each other nicknames but Peter has no idea what they means but he assumes it's unflattering. Until Liz told Peter that "Tio" means "Uncle" in Spanish and Rhino said that "plemyannitsa" means "niece"
Janice is very happy living with her dad as Tombstone fully supports her with everything as she wants to get into law school. For...lawful reasons....
