VERY funny to me to imagine that at some point before the double dragon hossberg fight Lucanis or Teia tells Rook about Viago's punny poison names and so afterward Rook is like "so what did you call the ballista bolt poison?" And with a completely straight face Viago says something like Dragon You Down or some shit and Rook has to visibly choke back laughter. Lucanis is like "oh no. oh no why would I pick that one" and Viago is just pleasantly surprised that someone else enjoys his puns and thus always has a soft spot for rook and rook alone

A little kid and his mother are trick or treating in another city, perhaps at some kind of event rather than knocking on doors, and the kid is dressed as Phantom. It’s very adorable, with his little ghost-shaped bucket and clearly homemade and already stained costume—listen, white only works if you can just fly over street grime or phase it out of your clothes—and his slightly I’ll fitting wig. The kid is SO happy to be out and about dressed as his favorite, and maybe even showed it off to Phantom back in Amity Park before his family left.

The hero, insert whoever you wish here, is probably in civvies and just enjoying the event. The kid, meanwhile, is so glad when people ask who he is so he can explain, and so- the hero gets to hear ALL ABOUT the local town hero who is probably pretty small time despite the kid’s clearly exaggerated stories. The hero certainly never heard of him, but the kid’s mom confirms that Phantom really was the town hero, despite some mixed reviews of the poor guy.

“Did you manage to show him your costume?” the hero asks.

“Yeah! We went down to the cemetery to leave flowers and I got to show him my costume.”

Wait. Cemetery? Maybe it was part of theme, because Phantom had to be named that for a reason, but… it sounded like…

The kid ignores the suddenly VERY still hero and instead turns to his mom. “Momma, do you think we should bring him candy? He doesn’t get to trick or treat like we do, and I can work super hard to get him a bunch!”

The kid’s mom just smiles. “We could, but maybe we should bring him something homemade. I bet he’d like something more filling, teen boys like him have a hollow leg.”

The kid wrinkles his nose. “Like Vernie with the pizza bagels?”

“Like your cousin, yes. We can make some cinnamon rolls and take them to his memorial, maybe bring some of the apples from your grandpa’s garden…”

The hero is pretty much forgotten as the two-part family wanders off, not quite intentionally forgetting the hero is there so much as the hero somewhat accidentally ended the conversation when they just froze and didn’t ask anything further.

Not that the hero didn’t want to. But they’d learn something very serious.

One—there was a small town hero they’d never heard of. Two—that hero was apparently a teen. Third—most pressingly, the teen hero was both beloved enough to have kids dressing up as him and dead enough to have a grave.

This… might require some phone calls.

Thinking about Wade flirting with absolutely everyone in the x men mansion is him on top of Beasts examination table, laying on his stomach, kicking his feet and drawing out little hearts with his finger with his head in his hand.

"No no, I heard you I just..." it takes him a whole minute before blushing, giving him an off, semi disgusted look. Hank was one of the few people he could still tease and still get a reaction out of. It's at this moment that he realizes that Wade is a lot smarter then he lets on.

"How long have you been this intellgent?"

Before he can think, voice spits out "Oh you know. Just Periodically~"

Hank swallows, shaking his head. "T-that was terrible... Get out before I tell your husband."

He lets out a little "eep!" scurrying off to find his next victim.. who just happens to be Rouge.

And Hank sends the same thing to Raven, who replies with nothing, leaving him on read...

I love that in the Podcast they specifically said they wanted to frame the hospital fight not as this action packed scene, but as sad. Because Joel has completely disassociated. He’s checked out because trauma can do that to a person, let’s you separate what’s happening. They said this is him burning his soul for this one girl. He’s doing what needs to be done in the same way Marlene did but while her focus was humanity, his focus is just Ellie. It’s tunnel vision. He kills anyone who is a threat and even if they drop their weapon, they could change their mind and still shoot him and then Ellie dies. He doesn’t kill the doctor until he becomes a threat by wielding the scalpel.  And them saying Marlene actually signed her death warrant the moment she said “let me go” because it meant she planned to try and survive her wound. There would be a tomorrow and in that tomorrow, she would try and come after them. So of course she had to die because her living meant Ellie wouldn’t be safe.

extermination day extermination always irritated vaggie. She had developed a major dislike of it upon being dropped into hell for showing mercy, which shouldve kept her in heaven than get her booted out, but she had found the love of her life here, so she couldnt complain. After the battle during the old hotels time, the exterminations had become far more erratic. sometimes theyd be only a month or so away, sometimes over a year. she had no doubts it was entirely because of lute, which she wasnt too fond of, but what could vaggie realistically do, her old sister in arms had always been a bit of a nutcase. besides, she had bigger fish to worry about right now. she and charlie were doing a headcount of people who had been in the hotel that day, (alastor, husk, nifty, the usual people, along with some hopefully quests to be) and there was one person distinctly missing "do i have to go get him?" vaggie asked, exasparated "come on please? he should be somewhere on the upper floors, i saw him walking up before the bell rang loud, besides you always have your weapon on you!" charlie begged, earning agreed mumblings of the others "If Safety Is Your Concern, Trust Me Vaggie, I Will Be Able To Handle Any Possible Nuisances While You're Getting Mister Bleeding Heart Back" alastor piped up, with that sickeningly sweet grin of his. She rolled her eyes, and groaned out a soft "fiine" as she moved to go up the hotel. Thank Fucking Lucifer that he had installed an elevator into the hotel, because boy howdy if vaggie had had to walk up the flight of stairs just to get Adam she would not have even considered it. Eventually, she found him on the roof, watching the carnage. "come on Adam, i know youre probably so fucking hard about all the destruction and shit, but you wont be safe from them killing you" Adam didnt turn to look at vaggie, instead closing his wings around himself as best he could, and "I can still recognize them you know" "huh?" with one wing, adam pointed down to two exterminators "that right there is lyre, ruthless as ever, but she has that methodical work flow, kind of like a dance. i think they partnered her with a newbie, which is good- well. bad, but. good from a combat standpoint- because she'll get good pointers at the end" vaggie looked down at the next group of exterminators that adam pointed to "over there is janatha, still fumbling with her stabs and pierces as ever. shes in a bigger squad, but they always worked well together, even if theyre a bit chaotic" an explosion blew up relatively near them, and adam looked over to it with sluggish movements "must be lute... say vags-" "vaggie." "-vaggie, do you remember flute?" "huh? you mean lutes sister?" "mmhm, lutes always been pretty ruthless, but that can leave her open at the back, flute would have covered her but. i think she was killed a few exterminations ago, the one that weapons dealer got. i think theyve tried to pair her with others but i always see her alone" vaggie stood there stunned "i. didnt think you were telling the truth when you said you recognized me. i thought you'd been bluffing or that lute had told you, given..." "well, thats the view souls have of me i suppose. liar down to a t. but i do recognize all of them. i just regret that my blind rage cost the lives of several of them and... lutes arm" another explosion closer to them alerted vaggie to grab adams shoulder "come on, charlies going to get worried if you keep me standing here, cant have you getting killed now that shes done so much work on you" "whatever you say vaggie" adam said, solemnly looking behind to where theyd spotted lute, before walking with vaggie to the elevator to get to the more bunkered area

On one hand I am upset that the new OFF release won't have it's original soundtrack as a toggleable option (the loss of Pepper Steak is upsetting for a lot of people, but losing Unreasonable Behavior, Stay In Your Coma, and Flesh Maze Tango is personally very upsetting for me.), but I fully understand why they couldn't secure the rights for it, and I don't blame ACC in any way for being uncomfortable signing a contract, especially when it'd be difficult to vet a lot of the samples used.

That said, the original game is always going to be there. It's not going anywhere, it will always be available for download and it will always be free. They're not pulling a SEGA and removing the original from online stores to corral you into purchasing the remaster, it's not going away, it will always be there. And frankly, I will gladly take that compromise. A new soundtrack is very, very exciting to me, and I look forward to hearing what the new composers put out for it.

at a skating rink and i thought about valgrace so

valgrace except leo is a pro skater. he can spin around and practically just dance while on wheels but jason? he cannot skate for the life of him.

so leo takes jason’s hands, tells him to bend his knees and find a balance, to find a rhythm in the music and just let go; feel it. jason does, of course, after they skate in their third circle because in reality, he’s been distracted by leo and his bright smile. jason catches the way leo sways to the beat, mouths the lyrics if he knows the songs but brown irises are kept on him, forever him.

it’s in that moment, jason falls in love with leo.

Guys I’m having a cackle at myself about that scene in Lucanis’ romance after he confronts Illario and is like ‘I have a better plan’ or smthn like that and it cuts to him back at the Lighthouse drinking coffee by himself.

And like, just the way the scenes are cut together, I gotta ask myself.

What was the walk back to the Eluvian like? If there even was one.

Did Lucanis leave the party first, and Rook is just chillin’ with Viago and Teia (mine absolutely would she adores Teia). And they find him at the Lighthouse after.

Did they walk back to the Eluvian together, and then Rook leaves to go do something else while Lucanis makes his coffee and comes back to check on him. If so what was that conversation like while they were walking back together💀

I genuinely think it’s hilarious to imagine what transpired between the Dellamorte Estate and the Lighthouse. I’m choosing to imagine it as awkward but funny. Would love to hear what you guys think went down in your headcanons since there’s so much u can do with that because logistically, they had to go all the way from the Dellamorte Estate and back to the Diamond then the Crossroads and finally back to the Lighthouse.
