I FUCKING LOVE THE SONG OF ROLLAND#song of roland#clay does art#so. okay bear with me#the song of Roland / chanson de rollanz was an epic poem written in the 11th century about the real battle of Roncevaux Pass in#the 8th century.#so 11th c ? we are smack in those middle ages#and its old copies were recorded as illuminated manuscripts#yet! it is technically an epic!! its an epic poem!!!! I don’t believe there were many written between Roland and the Aeneid (19 BCE)#in the west?#so like . WILD COMEBACK!!#this comic (?) is me playing with this idea of both muddling and clarifying the reality (8th c. real battle. he died.)#with the context of the poem (11th c. chivalric code. this was the hamilton of the time I must assume)#the translation from old french (flows better in modern English than it does in modern french apparently?)#and me. making it a scrolling comic. inspiration from real armor of the 8th century#although 11th c manuscripts armor them like they’re contemporary#I did hand lettering! as a manuscript would be!!#but my composition is wildly different than theirs#I could go on ! but I shant. ty for reading#no id#< I do not. know how . #my art#pokemon#galarian ponyta#digital art#hiiii everyone hello please look at my darling angel Amalthea. shes my partner pokemon in pokednd <3#most of our pokemon went missing so Mia (my character) took our remaining pokemon to get their pictures taken in case they go missing#i did in fact draw all three of them. am going to work on doing digital versions of the other two#its all of our partner pokemons :3 ponyta. impidimp. and mankey <3#the sketches i did for the other two are so fun i cant wait to draw them#impidimp's made my cousins all laugh so hard they almost cried#this session was so fun and we also talked afterwards about pokemon we may want on our teams in the future#and honestly my potential line up for Mia feels so good#her next pokemon she gets is very possibly going to be a bewear. absolutely out of left field choice but it works so beautifully#im also thinking good options for her would be breloom. grumpig. wyrdeer. maybe mimikyu.#grumpig and breloom are honestly the top of the list. they suit her so beautifully#wyrdeer is also really good. mimikyu would be up to roleplay#mimikyu and bewear would both play into her animal handling skill#mimikyu would also end up disguised as a sylveon#probably play that as mimikyu wanting to fit in with Mia's team since she's really nice to it and it wants her to be its trainer#bewear on the other hand would 1. work well aesthetically for her and 2. would be fantastic roleplay material what with it being a giant#aggro bear and mia is just this gentle giant who is so fucking good with pokemon so its like well.#the nice girl wants me to be nice so i wont kill you because i like her. she gives me snacks and pets me and treats me well

the funniest annoyance (bug?) I've run into in bg3 so far was with Abdirak the bdsm priest guy in the goblin camp. I managed to get in to talk to him but the second I got out of the initial conversation he took one look at my bear ranger pet and was like ahhhhh a bear!!!!! and ran out of the room only to come back five seconds later and do the same thing over and over. I even tried making my bear wait in the hall but that made it worse
like bro. I am here waiting for you to come back here and sexily beat me with your mace. you are talking a big game about pain and suffering and yet shrieking and running away from my very tame bear who is just minding their own business in a corner. sir please!!! just hit me!!!!! sir!!!!!!
in the end my bear did not get to have enrichment by watching me get whipped with a mace which was very sad for everyone
#I had to unsummon my bear which was annoying because I had to waste a short rest to get them back#I'm not sure this is a bug per se but it was kinda dumb#like I'm in a goblin camp and expecting an encounter to just happen at any moment of course I already have my pet summoned#I'm enjoying the game but oh my god there are so many bugs 😭#and clunky uis#baldur's gate 3#bg3mp#mp#baldur's gate 3 spoilers#the worst bug was when the game randomly teleported two of my party to a cave on the other side of the map when leaving camp#I had just recruited one of them too#I ended up having to walk everyone across the map manually to meet up#that and the fact preferences changes don't work until I shut and reopen the game#it's like I'm trying so hard to play this game and it is trying so hard to stop me
