got a worm nibbling my brain. can someone help me find a piece of obscure media?
webcomic/indie comic from the 2010s. basically a sci-fi short story about a young girl (with red hair?) who was being raised by scientists as part of an experiment. she receives a haircut/has her head shaved, in preparation for her annual brain scan/testing. it is revealed that while her body is human, her "brain" is artificial, made of computer implants throughout her skull and spine. at some point her biological mother (also a scientist on the same campus?) encounters her and is repulsed, viewing her as a machine who has murdered her daughter.
it was very poignant and it bruised my heart and i can NOT find it anywhere

just saw an article criticizing the httyd books for having a ten year old protagonist... said the movies fixed it by... by making hiccup older... and then criticized the fact that toothless was small... and that the movies fixed it by making toothless bigger so hiccup could ride him... as iF THE WINDWALKER ISN'T RIGHT THERE!!! it is very well established in book one that these are hunting dragons not riding dragons. there is a DIFFERENCE. anyway the DISRESPECT saying the movies "fixed the books" shut up

Im ngl i think the warden would be a much better player character to bring back in veilguard than the inquisitor. The "canon" ending of origins is that your warden dies, but given the retcons they've added into the game, i dont see why the warden couldn't be the one to return and aide rook in fighting against the blight. Or even alistair. I mean come on. Alistair helped kill an archdemon, and the warden actually did, I think either of them could've had such an interesting role to play if they had been brought in as an ally

The way I wanna see Luis go completely apeshit and just start doing things that he wouldn’t do in canon. In canon we know he feels immense guilt for his past and wants to make up for it all. We see him trying to do good over and over again. He wants to redeem himself and prove he’s changed.
But a part of me so badly wants him to kinda just,, lose the plot for a hot minute. The whole “be the monster they always said you were” kinda ordeal. He gets left for dead after the Krauser attack and nobody came back for him so he’s kinda bitter about it. I know it would be out of character because of what we’ve seen him go through and do, but… I do kinda wanna see it happen anyway.

i'm kind of amazed how most of the stardew marriage candidates just want you to be their manic pixie dream whatever by agreeing with everything they like and plying them with compliments or praise or whatever (which is fine but a bit. Much) but for shane his romance is just you being there for him while he figures his own shit out... dunno why i never wanted to romance him before he's so good
#i'm usually a sebastian kinda guy but i do think it's silly you have to say you like scifi to gain friendship points w him like cmon man#i will say though that. my bestie's baby daddy being named shane kinda does make it hard to like him 😭 unfortunate but not his fault#ik a lot of ppl are weird abt his recovery and his messy ass room bc they play stardew to make things look pretty or whatever#but i'm actually kind of glad he's a realistic depiction of addiction... the problem is his dependence on indulging in alcohol when he's#depressed not the fact that he drinks period... i think that a lot of ppl are unrealistic abt alcoholism (including me abt my dad's)#but concernedape did really good w him imo. anyways all this to say that i'm really glad shane never expects someone to be a certain way#i know most of the candidates are like. archetypes or whatever and i think that's fine they are very sweet and cute regardless but#i think maybe i didnt romance him before bc i related to him so badly that it hurt seeing myself reflected LMAO dead end life and being#suicidal about it like. i've never had a drug dependence but i'm not really in a position where i can ever make my own decisions anyways#but regardless. there is smth to someone who slowly warms up to you when they can't ignore your kindness any longer and have no reason to#act like an abused dog anymore which. does make me sad just to say but that is how he acts beforehand#idkkkkk idk i think people are always too caught up with his addiction and his messy room to actually see him without realizing that#getting better is a lot harder than it appears and that having a dirty room doesn't mean you aren't trying to be better. sigh#besides it's not like. the end of the world that he has a beer sometimes. have you tried going thru life completely sober? it sucks#ok im done LMAO but yeah i've found myself gravitating towards him this time around when i've romanced sebastian literally every playthru#til now. hmm!#ACTUALLY ONE MORE THING. i like how he's basically a twist on the classic useless husband trope in media where they love sports and drinking#but he's not a bad person and the only reason he's mean to you at first is because he hates himself and his own life and he makes an effort#the more you get close to him instead of the opposite. i like that a lot. ok now i'm done

im making a csp color set with copic marker swatches and the way some of these colors are sorted/ the colors themselves are genuinely baffling.
first of all the "official" swatches (which i assume are also the colors used for the marker caps) are WAY off most of the time, theyre far too light....
also, in theory, the colors go darker the higher their number is but sometimes theres just one shade in there thats almost darker than the last shade or its a completely different color entierely!!!!!! like V0000 - V09 is warm purple tones but for Whatever reason V04 is this insanely saturated textmarker ass fuchsia??? or sometimes its the same color 2 or 3 times in row like G05 - G09.....
Last Of All sometimes nothing makes sense... why would they do RV32 Shadow Pink, RV34 Dark Pink, RV42 Salmon Pink, and go on with RV5x like why is RV42 on its own im sure it could have went into a color sequence (theres literally two other colors that also have salmon in their name) also its way to red for the whole RV (red Violet) range........
second last of all: E0000-E02 are all very light peachy tones, then E04 is this muted pink liver sausage color, and E07-E09 are really rich reddish brown tones.... why are all of these in a sequence together!!!!
#this has pissed me of almost ten years now like i “”“”only“”“” have about 100 copics and i Hand Picked all of them (didnt buy a set)#and still theres about 15? markers in there that a either useless bc theyre exactly the same as other ones OR#bc its a completely different shade from the color chart.......#im losing it
