in so deep into modding sims 3 that I made a script to mass change 2000 cc files' hex header 😭😭😭😭😭
#took me like an hour to two to figure out how to bulk replace code within an application using python script#then i got confused n then just went back to automating keypresses n making a script for that instead 😭😭😭#i was headscratching earlier today bc i couldnt open ny sims 3 cc files within s3pe#turns out there's a version mismatch on the cc file bc i used a sims 4 application to merge and unmerge my cc and that changed the#hex header or whatever from version 2.0 to 2.1 n opening any sims 3 cc file into any s3 software freaked it out bc it couldn't#read 2.1 headers bcoz thats for sims 4#wh#figured that issue out from browsing deep into the sims modding forums after reading the error logs i had (idk why i didnt do that earlier)#n then everything just clicked idk#doing all dat at 5am . man.#doing all this so i dont have to find and redownload 2k cc files 💪💪was fun i learned something#nerd 🤣🫵#going to bed noew dawg!!!!#i have not touched python in 10(?) years i am so cooked#i don't remember shite .#.ctxt

love watching weather science videos but like. why am i 1000x more interested in tornadoes over hurricanes. they're both spinning air
#we wanted to be a stormchaser when we were younger#nowadays we have to worry about our health too much to have such a risky high-stress high reaction time job#been watching nothing but tornado history videos for days it's one of our intermittent special interests#stemming from the weather science workbook we OBSESSED over as a kid#would read that thing cover to cover multiple times a week. i was the kind of autistic who would read the Encyclopedia for fun#i actually had a fave encyclopedia entry as a kid and now i cannot fucking remember it 😭#i also learned what sex was through the encyclopedia 😭😭😭😭 was legit my first exposure to the concept#but like even though we watch A TON of weather videos including tons of stuff about thunderstorms and blizzards#(thunderstorms my fucking beloved. favourite weather pattern ever. cumulonimbus my bestest friend <3)#most of the videos we watch are mostly tornado videos. and hurricane videos feel boring to us#even though hurricanes are wayyy more powerful#tornadoes are still fucking powerful it's just more. concentrated#tornadoes to me feel Targeted like. that's weather that says Fuck YOU in particular actually#especially multivortex tornadoes where you can literally have two houses both in the middle of the storm at once#and still only one of them gets destroyed#or like pictures you can see of demolished houses with their mailbox in the yard simply untouched#i like to watch tornado videos bc they help me. prepare. just in case#our state gets hit with tornadoes pretty frequently though not as much as tornado alley#and i like to know all the information for sheltering and what to do in the event of a collapsed building and such#i have a little survival kit in the bathroom just in case with like basic first aid and a radio and bottled water#bc thats probably the safest room for me to be in since it's not near any external walls and also hiding in the tub is usually good#also in the event you're caught on the road during a tornado#DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE shelter under a bridge or overpass#those work basically like straws where as the air gets pushed through it goes MUCH faster and gets dangerous way easier#as far as im aware the best place to be is in a ditch or hole if you absolutely cannot find a shelter in time#if you do not have a car with roll protection then being in your car will probably be worse#NOT AN EXPERT THO pls verify this information on your own if you think it is relevant or necessary i have poor memory and can be stupid#i just know that overpasses are dangerous as hell

saw the wicked movie yesterday LOVED IT. boo boo hiss hiss obviously i have my problems with it but when they all started singing i felt like a little kid again :) it was really fun
#every time fiyero was onscreen though it was like okay move along gayboy. i dont know you#it didn't need to be that long which was what i was worried about but i genuinely really liked it. like i was never bored i had fun!#4.5 stars out of 5 i really liked it. really really!!!! the dancing was fun#the only song i didn't remember the words to was the goat's one bc my mom hates it so bad she refused to ever play it#which is silly... when he started singing it in the movie my mom literally rolled her eyes 😭 i love her#we used to play the wicked soundtrack all the time on her ipod it's just so. MY FIRST EVER POKEMON GAME THAT BELONGED TO MEEEEE#i loved the SHIT out of that game and then got black 2; soulsilver and platinum; pokemon conquest; got the 3ds games...#i still have platinum/soulsilver as well as all the mainline 3ds games i believe#but conquest; black; and black 2 i lost :( literally my FAVOURITES i took them everywhere with me (which is why i lost them lmao)#funny enough i know exactly where black 2 IS though; its in the pocket of a jacket i owned but lost back between 2013-2014???#if i find the jacket it will 100% be in there; i just couldn't find the jacket and tbh idek if its still around anymore or is in storage#but if it is!!!! i'll literally cry lmao#black 2 is where i got my first level 100 pokemon; a magneton....... i ADORED that little bastard ouaaaghh....#i dont believe i ever managed to get past the league in black 2 though bc i remember being so pissed i couldnt get to see the other side of#the map beyond castelia city lmao#14-15 years old and i STILL didn't believe in stat moves 😭 i deserved to get shot#But fun fact: I DID get a new copy of Black a few years back!!! only it 1. already had save data on it and 2. it was full of rare/hacked#legendaries young me could only ever DREAM of having so i can't get myself to restart the save data even though i rlly want to.......#oh but funny enough!!! i also still have the 14 y/o dsi i was gifted back then; it still works though the battery cover is missing so you#have to hold it lol#but aaaaa so many fond memories of playing black and black 2... black 2 especially since i never really got to finish it lol#like#i finished the main CAMPAIGN with plasma and ghetsis trying to fucking kill you and all that (Something which i remember being so :0!!!?!?!#when i first saw it omgggg its such a clear memory aaaa) but i think like#i got up to the league and could never beat it........ so i just went back to training my mons till i got a level 100 magneton lmao#so many good memories; i hope i can get copies of black 2 and conquest again someday...

#fun fact: this was the team i used to 36* abyss for the first time#funny story behind the team building actually#i had Very limited character options bc 1. i had no nahida#and 2. my dendro lumine was in second half bc i used burgeon for the triple kenkis#i had collei kuki and yaoyao but they were not built at the time 😭😭😭#so i couldn't do hyperbloom or pair him with another dendro#but i wanted to clear abyss so i was like let me Try some other options#i had my core of alhaitham zhongli raiden for spread#thought of fischl first then kazuha as the 4th option#but i don't like using them in spread teams so i scrapped that idea#thought of xq and use hyperbloom raiden instead#but i used my only triple em paradise lost set on thoma so that's out of the picture#(i could've used gilded but i didn't have em pieces levelled up bro what was i DOING BACK IN 3.4 LMAO)#and then i remembered albedo's passive........ that gives em to the team when he uses his burst.......#i was like holy shit PERFECT#tried it out in abyss and got 36* 😭😭😭 i was so happy bc i could use 4/5 of my fave characters in one cycle#(rip venti tho i didn't use himshskjdksjsj)#so yeah this was long idk if anyone read all of this but this is my favourite team to slot albedo in LOL#there are better spread teams ofc + now that i have nahida and yaoyao built i always put either one of them with alhaitham#but i encourage all of you to try out some variation of this team it's fun i swear LMAO#lou.txt

The double-edged sword of enjoying Chicago and knowing basically all the songs by heart, but also can't stop crying every time I watch/listen to any of them bcs I can't stop thinking about how covid robbed me of getting the experience of ever performing it :(

i got used to mar.cille's english voice but then heard her japanese voice & now it's all over once again
#dunmeshiposting#idc that the voice actress did a good job as na.mi in opla her voice is very much all over the place for ma.rcille 😭#i don't know how to explain but it constantly sounds unstable & wobbly & that's just not how i imagine mar.cille#it's like she's always yelling or upset but her voice is also always on the verge of breaking or falling through a cloud. very odd#i think i prefer sungwon as sen.shi over his japanese voice though. he sounds older than he is in japanese#la.ios sounds fine in both though i had trouble getting used to his voice in english bc smth about the tone didn't feel right#fa.lin having a very high pitched sweet voice is not what i envisioned at all but it's consistent between versions so far#which is gonna get really fun soon enough.#chil sounds perfect in english no notes wonderful work there. same w na.mari though she sounds perfect in both languages#japanese chil is. too standard voice. english voice stands out imo. ca.sey mong.illo is doing an awesome job#don't rlly have opinions on ka.bru's party i haven't heard them in japanese yet bc i only checked out the last ep#they sound fine in english though? idk i don't remember going 'oh noooo NOOOOO' about it lmao#there you go. my unwanted dunmeshi voice opinions 👍

Been finishing up act 2 of bg3. It's a good thing I find the battle systems so fun bc Hoo Boy there sure do be battles
#speculation nation#im going the epic hero direction this run. mostly bc i care about saving innocents' lives as much as possible#which means Killing Necromancers...... ugh.#cloudkill my beloathed. me n my homies hate cloudkill (used against us at least)#i got my vampire kicked into a fucking CHASM i had to reload a save 😭😭😭#he's been phenomenally unuseful in these fights bc theres so many people and so few places to hide#usually hes one of my biggest damage dealers. and sometimes he can get a good shot in#but a lot of turns hes just firing one dinky lil arrow and then hiding in the corner#...... i keep forgetting about the fancy arrows. i have so many of those. i should try to remember them when i get to the Big battle.#which. hmmm. we r gonna hope it's not Too difficult a battle. ive been able to get thru every battle so far in this game#turns out im Pretty Damn Good at this game. to the point where i'll brute force it and still end up fine.#the literal only battle i had to leave and go back for was the big spider queen thing in the bottom of the well. she was scary.#im level 9 now tho and full of so much guts n grit. and loot. holy fucking shit the loot.#im looting every body (including fallen allies. sorry guys ur gold's goin to a good cause.)#i have karlach with a like 460 carrying capacity but she STILL keeps getting encumbered. from all the armor.#im making fucking Thousands off this tower capture im gonna have so much fucking money#once i leave here and can actually. sell them all 😂#anyways i have been having fun! had to stop for the night bc it's late. but i will be killing thorny ass tomorrow. mark my words.
