POV: you are telling fanfics writers that they don't have to antagonize or kill off character's bio parents to validate their relationship with a mentor character/ writing a fic about a character and their parental figure doesn't invalidate the character's bio parents and everything their did while raising their child / people are allow to have more than one parental figure in their life and you can have a good relationship with your alive bio parents and still see other adults as parental figures because love doesn't have limits

HELLO!!
I am writing a paper for my English class and I need participants. It is about female Superheroes and Supervillains. If you don't recognize the character I encourage that you just write anything you think regardless. It can be about their appearance or what you think they are like based on vibes alone. Please be honest this is entirely anonymous and there are no wrong answers and the longer the answer the better!

batman! miguel x catwoman! reader (batman au)
In a dystopian version of New York, Miguel O'Hara takes on the mantle of Batman, a dark and mysterious vigilante working tirelessly to protect the city from crime and corruption. Meanwhile, you embody the cunning and alluring persona of Catwoman, a skilled thief who is both Miguel's rival and misunderstood ally.
Driven by a shared desire for justice and a complex chemistry that cannot be ignored, Miguel and Catwoman engage in a tantalizing game of cat and mouse. Their encounters become a thrilling dance of wit, as they test each other's limits and challenge the boundaries of their tense relationship.
In the moonlit night, Catwoman expertly maneuvers through the shadows of Nueva York, leaving her signature mark on the city's criminal underworld. Miguel, as Batman, is always one step behind, utilizing his futuristic gadgets and intelligence to try and apprehend her.
Their interactions are charged with tension, both intellectual and sensual. Miguel is captivated by Catwoman's wily nature, her mystery, and her ability to match him move for move. He finds himself torn between his duty as Batman and the burgeoning feelings he harbors for this enigmatic adversary.
As their paths cross more frequently, their banter sharpens, dripping with a mix of respect and attraction. Miguel tries to unravel the complexities of Catwoman's past, yearning to understand the motivations behind her actions. He senses the pain and vulnerability that lies beneath her tough exterior, and it ignites a fierce desire within him to protect and care for her.
Catwoman, on the other hand, struggles with her conflicting emotions. In Miguel, she sees a kindred spirit, a hero fighting for justice in a world that has betrayed them both. As their adventures unfold, her walls start to crumble, and she glimpses a life beyond the confines of crime.
Caught in a tangled web of danger and desire, Miguel and Catwoman find themselves drawn to each other in ways they never anticipated. The line between right and wrong blurs as they navigate the morally gray areas of their existence, questioning their loyalties and unleashing an undeniable passion.
As their alter egos, Batman and Catwoman, they embody a tantalizing duality. They inspire fear, respect, and, ultimately, a complicated love that transcends their roles as hero and anti-hero. Their connection becomes a beacon of hope in a world enveloped in darkness, where they find solace and love amidst the chaos. In the twisted depths of Nueva York's seedy underbelly, Miguel and Catwoman discover that their destinies are intertwined.

What if instead of having to sneak around as MJ the mild mannered reporter in Spider-Man 2 we got to sneak around and kick ass as Felicia Hardy the cat burglar

Black Cat vs Catwoman ( A comic book fan’s personal interpretation of their differences! )
To clarify - I haven’t read all that much of Catwoman because I’m a Spidey fan myself but I think I have enough of a grasp on her to denote why I don’t think Black Cat is just “A Catwoman ripoff”.
The main difference between them is I believe fully that Black Cat on the alignment scale is on the eviler side of Anti-Heros while Catwoman is bordering on being just. A straight up hero. Catwoman is Batman’s most frequent love interest and is considered the healthiest- there are several times where she goes clean, uses the Catwoman mantle for good. She steals things sure but it’s honestly never that bad and rarely gets people hurt.
Black Cat on the other hand ( as much as I love her she’s a considerably more flawed character ) is on and off with Peter, and doesn’t care about him, only caring for Spider-Man and for pretty superficial reasons. She steals things, and she doesn’t care who, and honestly I would find it in character for her to steal things from people who don’t deserve it. She does have morals, she doesn’t kill people, but often times she ends up getting people- Spider-Man in particular injured indirectly. She’s much more openly manipulative while…
On the other hand Catwoman is just a genuinely better human being, I prefer Black Cat as a character but there’s no denying that imo.
