okay im gonna fam cast cuz i just wanna put this out there, so let me propose:
Taylor Zakhar Perez as Dick Greyson
Ross Lynch as Jason Todd (why r half his pics i find on twitter either half naked or from 8 years ago)
Walker Scobell as Tim Drake
Does anyone else see my vision??
note: if we ignore dick greyson's romani background like dc does, i feel like alexander clarmount diez would fit the golden boy look u know
note 2: maybe ross is too baby boy looking but consider he played jeffery dhamer before so hes done darker stuff, and the one of your girls mv is prob why half the pics i can find of him are shirtless 🥴
note 3: idk i rmb watching a fancasting vid and they put walker as damien and im like hes too old to be damien now so timmy it is
#dick grayson#jason todd#tim drake#batman#batman fancast#fancast#ross lynch#taylor zakhar perez#walker scobell#batfam#bat family#i might do stephanie brown and cassandra cain#but honestly im basing these off of ✨️vibes✨️#so if u think this is widely inaccurate that is totally valid#red hood#nightwing#robin#red robin#dc comics#dc universe#dcu

FELLAZ~ I need help.
I was thinking about Hal/Bruce, but I'm struggling with the "faceclaim/fancast" of Hal Jordan for every recent/current Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, and Robert Pattinson)
My notes:
The timeline for Batbale is after the trilogy
The timeline for Batfleck is around the making of Justice League (ZSJL, maybe before Superman) or after the first official meeting of Martian Manhunter with the whole 6 Justice League (Batfleck would be around 45-50 year old)
The timeline for Battinson is him around 30-40 year old
I don't really know actors that much for me to have my own fancast, but— hey... I could use some help, maybe...?
Thank you!^^
another note: I recently think of Jon Hamm for Hal Jordan when Batfleck is around 50s year old (their height difference wasn't also that much, only like 3cm)... and also having to imagining Batfleck with batfam is going to be another problem for me to think about the fancasts😭
Also, this is my first post with 30 tags...

Casting the Batfamily - Dick & Tim
Hi! I’m very new to the DC fandom so I may be wrong but I wanted to add my own two cents! I watched a video by Nando vs. Movies who did this, and I had some major reservations about his choices so I wanted to throw my hat in the ring! I’m doing Dick and Tim today because I have no idea for the others at this particular moment. Feel free to tell me your own fancasts! Also, I’m tired so my justifications won’t be great, I’m mostly working on vibes. (Also the pics SUCK sorry I made this on desktop)
Dick Grayson
1. Armani Jackson aka Travis from Honor Society
-this would be a Dick who’s a bit younger, probably when Jason is just becoming Robin
-in Honor Society, Travis is extremely charismatic and he’s sweet but I could see an edge to him that would require him to play Dick
-Travis in the movie kept dating a girl even though he was gay and I feel like Dick would continue to put himself in a situation like that just because it made other people happy, you know?
-He has a really good natured vibe to him that Dick has
-I didn’t originally want to put him because I don’t want well known actors, but I think he’s new enough that it really wouldn’t matter all that much
2. Hunter Doohan aka Tyler from Wednesday
-Tyler in the show is charming enough for Dick and Dick is a super charming guy
-He’s capable of playing a serious role but he has that sweetness and that feeling of loyalty to him
Tim Drake
1. Jake Ryan aka Woodrow from Asteroid City
-he’s pretty serious in this role, so I got major Tim vibes
-I’m serious, as I was watching this movie all I could think about was Tim
-so Woodrow in this movie is a genius but he also has a pretty big heart and softness to him (aka Tim)
-he’s around a good age to play Tim, the only reservation I have is the athleticism but, hey, body doubles
-Woodrow in this movie is surrounded by adults who act like children and children who act like adults so... yeah, basically the batfam
-I see major potential here!!
-you probably don’t know who this is so I’ve enclosed a video clip from the show I’m talking about. This will be a harder sell...
2. Ali Khan aka Joshua from Everyone Else Burns
-he kind of gives me Wayne Family Adventures Tim vibes
-this would be a Tim where Damian is already part of the family and it’s post saving Bruce from the time stream
-he’s goofy but also can play a serious role, he’s afraid of letting his family down but also he can’t help but go against them when it’s important
-I know he’s not athletic or anything, and Joshua isn’t even portrayed to be a genius and it’s pretty much the opposite of my other choice, but this is a Tim who has mellowed out a bit. He’s older, he’s more hardened and cynical, but he can’t help but be a good person in spite of that
Those are my choices. Argue with me in the tags and comments. Give me your choices. I know I didn’t sell that well, but I can’t stop thinking about this!!

♱𖣂 Redfork Menace ♱𖣂 pt.31 Finale pt.2 (finished)
Benjicot Blackwood x Bracken!OC
Summary - Trial by Combat begins. Plus epilogue.
Warnings - fem!reader, suspense, depictions of violence, graphic violence, violent imagery, blood, sword fighting, feelings of guilt, complicated family dynamics, benjicot brainrot, Kieran Burton fancast.
Word count - 3.1k
This is it folks! The end is here, but fear not. There will be more Bracken/Blackwood works to come.
She dodged out of the way, rolling in such a manner as to avoid Joth’s blade. She’s been dodging him for minutes now. It was her best shot at not getting hit. His sword was longer, and his wingspan was longer putting her at a severe disadvantage. Her short sword was better for stabbing, but it didn’t matter if she couldn’t get close enough to hit him. She kept rolling out of the way as his blade swept down mere centimeters from hitting her shoulder. She looked up as she dodged out of the way. Joth looked deranged. He was nearly salivating at the thought of victory. He was so sure that he was going to slice her in half even as she nimbly dodged every blow he sent her way.
The crowd had ceased to exist for her the moment their blades rang out, a steely crash that set her teeth on edge. And she had never felt more alive than she did this close to death. She finally felt free, soaring above like a bird in the sky. Nothing could touch her as long as she held the blade in her hand. She struck out aiming for his ankles, but he dodged at the last second. The two of them had been circling each other for ten minutes at least. But didn’t exist to her at this moment the only thing that existed was the fury of her righteous wrath. There was only one outcome for this trial, and that was justice, the justice they had been robbed for years. Half crouched, but finally standing she watched as he lunged forward if he had a short sword, it would’ve been the perfect opportunity for her to stab him, but because he was using a longsword, his reach was so much further than hers and she couldn’t risk him nicking her with his blade.
It didn’t matter that she hadn’t landed a single blow because she had finally analyzed his fighting pattern. He would lunge forward, aiming straight for her chest and when he missed he would feint left before moving backwards. It was always the same opening And she thought he isn’t a very good swordsman. As one of the first lessons you receive is not to strike out through the middle. It leaves you vulnerable for an attack instead, you want to control the attack through the blade. Which he should’ve been doing as he had the longer sword, he could’ve ended the fight much earlier if he had attacked straight on. Our sword did not have a cross guard and if meant to he could slice her fingers off without a second thought. But Joth wasn’t thinking at all beyond how he could end this fight as quickly as possible. The longer she kept him actively engaged, the worse the swordsman looked.
“Admit your wrongdoing.” She shouted loud enough for everyone to hear. “ You killed an unarmed woman, a River lander.”
“I killed nothing but I’m going to kill you.” he snarled, striking at her with all his might.
The swing of his blade was sloppy, slower than it should’ve been. She could’ve batted it away the same way Benjicot often did to her. Instead, she rolled out of the way, and as she did manage to cut the back of his calf. His subsequent grunt pain was so satisfying. She wished she could hear it on repeat. He was breathing heavily, and Shanda wondered when the last time he picked up a sword was. After figuring out his attack style she began calculating how best to end the fight. She could ask him to confess all day but it would only be a waste of breath.
He had a terrible habit of trying to stab down at her when she would quickly roll out of his way. If he was quicker, he could manage to stab her exposed back before she turned completely around. She watched him do it a few times before deciding she would go for the opening. He left his entire midsection open when he lunged to stab at her and she planned to use that. Her entire body was vibrating with the amount of sheer adrenaline running through her veins. She felt transcendent in a horrible way, she knew if she were to falter for even a moment death was waiting. She steeled herself and moved in.
He managed to cut her shoulder when she dodged too slowly but she moved into position all the same. She wanted for him to lunge, his blade bearing down, aimed to pierce her back. Then she sprang up and she stabbed him straight through the middle. She pushed with more force than she thought necessary, pushing through the layers of skin and muscle. She didn’t pause for a second before she knocked the longsword from his other hand. He was half slumped against her now, blood pouring from his mouth and dripping down on to her. He cough spewing it all over her face. He grabbed her shoulder with his newly freed swordhand and pulled himself closer, her hand pressed against his abdomen from the action. She could feel the warm slippery flow of blood against her skin.
“Congratulations.” Ser Joth said, staring into her eyes with the specter of death hanging over his. “You just ended one feud and started another.”
He collapsed against her then and she worked hard to hold him up but it was useless. His full weight weighed on her and she stumbled backwards. A strong pair of arms caught her from behind. She looked up to see a pair of Tully blue eyes staring down at her. Elmo had caught her. Several members of house Piper came over to collect Joth. She was beyond relieved to have him out of her arms. Her hands were coated in blood and her arms up past the elbow were as well. She looked down in a detached fascination at the sight of it. It was so dark, such a deep color. She watched half in a dream as the sight of her bloody hands was replaced with Benjicots ruby cloak. She didn’t remember when he’d tossed it over her or when he started carrying her.
Suddenly she was just outside of the courtroom, covered in Benji’s cloak and being carried down the torchlit halls of riverrun. Her head spun for a moment, she felt so disoriented.
“Benji?”
He stopped walking and turned his head down to look at her. He looked rough, like he was the one who’d been in a fight. She narrowed her eyes, assessing him more closely. Had he been in a fight?
“How are you? Are you okay? We’ll be back to the room soon.”
He doubled his pace and she jolted at the action.
“Slow down, I’m okay. I think. That’s not the point.” She sighed frustrated.
He did not slow down at her words. “Yeah right. You’re not okay. And that is okay, just be calm.”
She thought of continuing the argument but decided to wait until they were in private. Tully guards had been active and present the last few days. Proving to Shanda that Elmo had been messing with them this entire time. Beyond that Benjicot was right for once she grudgingly had to admit. She was far from okay. She’d killed a man. It was one thing to have a duel in the yard amongst friends. Or to wrestle with an enemy that doesn’t mean to kill you. But she had meant to kill ser Joth and he had sincerely tried to kill her. She agonized over the decision. It had to be done, there was no way around it. This was how justice worked and whether she raised the sword or not, someone would have died today.
She did not know how to reconcile the horrible righteous rage that made her pick up the sword and the sick gut wrenching guilt at having taken a life. Benjicot could have killed him, she thought. It wouldn’t have been an issue obviously if she had come out triumphant. She could not sit by and let him do it though. And she knew deep down that Martyn felt the same. If she hadn’t stood she had no doubt he would have and Elmo would have let him. It was at the very least, a reassurance that she had bought her brother's life with the act. It did not alleviate the haunting feeling of emptiness inside her but it was something.
The next time she blinked, she was in a warm bath. She didn’t bother to contemplate how she’d gotten there, it was obvious. Benjicot sat next to her on a small stool. His hand was running up and down her arm in a soothing manner. She turned to face him and his eyes worriedly darted around her face.
“Did you get into a fight?” She asked at last.
He rolled his eyes. “You would ask that. And if I did?”
He moved behind her to wash her hair. She noticed the water wasn’t streaked with blood. She wondered how many baths he had run for her before the water ran clear. She leaned back, letting him pour water over her head.
“Why?” She simply inquired, too tired to dance around the issue right now.
He sighed heavily and set the water pitcher down. He began lathering her hair as he answered.
“Elmo grabbed you first and pulled you out.” She shivered from the feel of his fingers on her scalp. It felt too good, too nice after everything she’d been through. “I was relieved when he came back after handing you off to the guards but there was still something to be settled.”
“Joss Rivers.” She answered for him. She felt cold despite the warm water washing over her hair as Benjicot rinsed it.
“Your father proposed they take his head right there.”
She sat up quickly at his words, her heart stuttering as water sloshed over the edges of the tub.
“Surely they didn’t?”
He laid a hand on her shoulder, comforting her. “No, of course not.”
Shanda relaxed just the tiniest bit but decided she wanted out of the bath before continuing. “Help me up, please.”
Once out of the tub and dried off. She wrapped up in a pretty sky blue, long sleeved, sleeping gown and sat on the bed. Exhaustion weighed heavily on her but she wanted to hear what had happened in her mental absence.
“Okay.” She said once Benjicot joined her in the bed. The two of them sat across from each other like young girls at a slumber party. “Tell me what happened.”
“Predictably everyone shot down the beheading suggestion from your father. And Elmo even scolded him for it.”
Then Benjicot put on a rather convincing impression of the Lord Paramount. “‘We’ve just watched a man die, by your own blood no less. The gods have had their due, are you above the gods then?’”
She almost cracked a smile at how well he impersonated him, knowing the lord would hate it. But she knew there was no happy ending here.
“Go on.” She encouraged him.
“House Piper insisted the boy was of no relation to them and that his actions were not a reflection of their house.”
She stared at him a bit shocked. “They repudiated him?”
He nodded and she frowned. It was a bit late for that, an odd move especially considering the death of one of their own already.
“How did you get in a fight then?” She knew he was dancing around what she really wanted to know.
“Well, another suggested we hang him. And then someone suggested we drown him in the Redfork as a sacrifice to the gods.”
She went pale at his words and she could almost see the satisfaction playing on her fathers face at the suggestions.
“Your father said, ‘See? I was being merciful.’ And when he drew towards Joss-“ Benjicot hesitated then, taking a deep breath to calm himself before continuing. “I hit him. I’m not ashamed to say it, I started another brawl. Decided I couldn’t let the Brackens get all the credit for starting trouble.”
She looked at him in awe. “You do have a reputation to uphold.” She said before launching herself into his arms. He held her tightly and for a moment it was only the two of them, hearts beating in sync.
“They sent him to the wall.”
Her heart stuttered in her chest for a second before returning to normal. She sighed leaning against him, his arm cradling her back as she gazed up at him. “He’s just a boy.”
“And you’re just a lady.”
“I suppose you’ve got me there, ser.”
He wrinkled his nose at the word. “A lady, a menace, a stubborn fish headed woman.” He paused, rubbing his nose against hers as he cradled her close, “My precious wife.” He whispered, kissing the top of her head.
Her reply and rebuttal was interrupted by a series of yawns that cut her off at every turn. She was asleep before she made it out of his arms. Wrapped up in his warm embrace, she slept soundly.

Epilogue
One Year Later
Shanda was giddy with joy and excitement. She spun around in her beautiful burgundy dress, laughing as she held hands with the soon to be bride. Lyla looked like the picture of beauty in her dress. It was a beautiful russet brown, made of a shimmery fabric that Shanda had never seen before. She later learned it was rumored to come from somewhere in the Jade Sea, which was very interesting to her and would explain the grandeur of the fabric. On it were the most gorgeous embroidered maple leaves Shanda had ever seen. The gradient went from brown to green, representing her own house, Blantree. Then to a fiery orange to a golden yellow, representing house Bracken, like the house of her soon to be husband. It was very beautiful needlework and she gushed over it.
“Oh I can’t wait for us all to hang out.” Lyla said, bouncing up and down on her tippy toes. None of them could be still at this moment.
“We already are silly.” A familiar voice came from the door.
“Alysanne! You’re late!” Shanda laughed as Lyla scolded her in one breath and pulled her into a tight hug in the next.
“Listen, I was wrangling the men. They’re hopeless without me.”
“It’s true.” Shanda said sympathetically, backing her up. “They are quite hopeless.”
“You on the other hand are a vision!”
Shanda watched in quiet joy as the many different generations and families of women mingled together to help Lyla prepare for her wedding ceremony. It was a stark contrast to the way her own ceremony had gone down. She was thankful that they had continued to stay in touch with the other women they’d become acquainted with. Shanda frequently sent letters to Lady Violet and was pleased to receive letters from her cousin Marcelle from Seaguard on occasion. They all made an effort to write to Bellena, who had traveled back home with her family after the disaster of her match. Elmo had agreed to nullify the marriage as nothing had occurred between the two. Sometimes she would go months without hearing from her and then she would right to complain that Mellara was bothering her. ‘She’s taken up residence here as if she owns the place. It’s honestly such a brazen act even for one so shameless as her.’ Shanda had snorted at that but was reassured that someone was looking after her. And she knew Bellena did not mind her intruding guest half as much as she complained about her.
Now she watched as Bellena entertained Lyla’s two younger sisters, both of whom were eleven and carbon copies of their elder sister. “The key to sneaking around is being on top of things.” She said while leaning in close to the two who were watching, completely enraptured by her every word. “How do you expect to get away with anything if you can’t even do the simple things expected of you? No, you have to do everything right. Then, no one has any ground to stand on when they try to call you out.” Shanda wanted to laugh at the disgruntled look on their faces. Maybe in a year or two they would be more open to the idea.
“Come on! It’s time!” Lyla’s mother called as the door to the room opened. The buzz of conversation that had been going on died at her words and then sprung back to life at twice the speed.
Shanda followed the buzzing crowd to the Sept, eager to see her baby brother in all his golden glory. Martyn joined her once she entered.
“Shouldn’t you be up there?” She wondered if Royce had snubbed him from the ceremony.
“I think you’ll find a more interesting brother has taken my place at this time. Not that I blame him.”
He gestured towards the front of the sept and Shanda’s heart leapt in her throat at the sight of her brother, Normon. Her hands twitched and she struggled not to bolt over to him. Martyn watched her struggle with a sympathetic expression.
“We’ll have plenty of time to talk to him later.” He whispered, knocking into her shoulder as the ceremony began.
She smiled at him. “That’s true enough but you know we’ll have to fight half the riverlands to get a word with him.”
“Like that’s ever been a problem for us before.” He countered.
The two of them watched as their youngest brother was married under the faith of the seven, the autumn backdrop of leaves in the window behind them was stunning. Shanda struggled not to cry for several moments before she gave up and cried into Benjicot’s side. He’s materialized out of nowhere half way through the ceremony and she’d been too engaged to question him on his whereabouts. She had no doubt he was up to no good though and she wanted in on it.
“Are you ready for the party?” Benjicot asked as they made their way towards their room to prepare for the evening of dancing and drinking.
“Depends on what you were doing during the ceremony.” She fired back.
“Mmm, you always were such a smart bird.” He said while pulling her into his arms.
“You didn’t answer my question.”
He ran his fingers through her hair and gently kissed her on the lips. “What would be the fun in it if I told you?” He grinned at her wickedly and she delighted in the way her stomach burst into a million butterflies at the sight.
“I’ll fight you for it.” She said, pulling him along as she led them back to their room.
“Deal.”
His lips were on hers before she got the door open.

Yes to that comic version of Bruce! 👏 (what did you think of the bale batman and battinson?) Jensen is a bloody good actor but I just can't process him as the bat I look at him and my brain just says 💗soft💗 I liked the bale batman- although I can't see him as batdad but I can somehow see battinson trying to parent lol Jon Bernthal would make a killer batman for sure. I find it soo hard to fancast and I always end up changing my mind
Who is your Alfred? I love Michael Caine Alfred and I quite liked the Alfred from the Gotham TV series
I can't unsee Brenton Thwaites as Nightwing like in my mind the way Hugh Jackman shall forever be Wolverine and Ian McKellen is forever Gandalf, Brenton Thwaites is now my forever Nightwing. I really really want a Nightwing movie so bad. Have you seen the YouTube Nightwing series?
I've never heard of Tanner Buchanan before, but yo the green eyes sealed the deal there 💚 I find Jason the hardest to cast tbh
Griffin Gluck!! Have you seen locke and key? that's the only thing I've seen him in, Felix Mallard was in it too, I can sometimes envision Felix as Jason sometimes not, I've not seen a fancast before that has made me be like yes that is 100% Jason, I liked the hbo titans version of Jason but only as the hbo titans Jason if that even makes sense, little dude did so good in that role 👏 but anyways sorry for the Jason tangent lol !Griffin Gluck Tim Drake hell yeah! This is partly crack partly not but mostly crack but I can somewhat see Rebal D as Tim Drake the energy in his YouTube videos is at times very Tim to me
I wish dc would even just make a short mini movie, like 15 mins long, about Bruce trying to be a responsible father and damian just being damian 🤣
I know the ages for this arent right but oh well lol, I think I'd fancast Chance Perdomo as Duke, Emma Stone as Steph and Violet Orlandi as Cass, for the life of me I can't come up with anyone for Babara? (I love Violet as Cass, she's not even an actress but she could sooo do it)
Thanks for giving your fancast!! And 10 000% yes to the Wayne Family Adventures it's so perfect, I need to start reading that again. But yeah if you have anymore casting ideas for the batfam or villians etc I'd looovee to hear!
Hi anon!!! This is an AMAZING ask!!! Thank you so incredibly much for taking the time to send it! 🥰
This answer is going to be a bit lengthy so I'm going to put it under the break. And I am planning on doing another post of fancasting like this one for the extended Batfam members so I might not address all your points here, but they will be coming very soon! 😘
First of all, I am a big fan of both Bale and Pattinson's portrayals. I have a hard time picking a favorite because their approaches to the character are so different and yet both valid. I am VERY interested to see what they do with Battinson moving forward since this first movie is still early in his time wearing the cowl where he is still figuring out what Batman should be. And I would LOVE to see him get a Robin in the sequel (preferably sticking with Dick like the canon) but we shall see!
I'm not sure if you've seen The Boys, but Jensen's portrayal of Soldier Boy is all the proof to me that he could nail portraying Batman. And his range in Supernatural (from being a gruff and heartless hunter one minute to breaking down in a softer, protective emotional side the next) solidifies for me that he could switch between Batman to Batdad when needed. And he's charming as hell so Bruce wouldn't be a problem 😂
I'll have my new fancast of Alfred on my next post, but from previous ones, Michael Caine is always my Alfred. I think Andy Serkis is a great version of Alfred for Battinson and is what that Bruce needs (and his performance is great as always) and I enjoyed Sean Pertwee in Gotham (once again, a great interpretation for what *that* Bruce needed). However, Michael Caine was my first live-action Alfred and he was SO PERFECT, I don't think he will ever be topped as my favorite.
To be fair, I think Brenton Thwaites had the look for Dick and I think he could have been a good choice if the show was different, but for me, I can't get over how much Titans tone and interpretation of the characters/stories rubbed me the wrong way. None of the characters felt accurate to me based on their comic counterparts and the studio just tried to be too edgy and dark. The perfect example is the "Fuck Batman" moment. It was all over the trailers and just seemed like something they wanted to push to be like "this ain't your parent's Robin" but they pushed things so far it didn't even feel grounded in the characters I love. (don't even get me started on the Red Hood plot line).
I have seen the Nightwing youtube series and they do a really good job with it! My hope for this new direction of the DC movies and the fact The Brave and the Bold will focus on Bruce and Damian's relationship is that it means they'll include Nightwing and maybe mention Tim now working with the Titans (you don't want to include too many characters in the first movie which is the problem a lot of superhero movies have made lately). And I also want a mention of Jason but not have him returned as Red Hood yet which would be its own movie later.
Speaking of Jason.... While Dick is my first Robin and will always have a very special place in my heart because of that, Jason is my favorite. I just love how complex and rich his character development and story is. I also find casting him really difficult because of that. However, I do think Tanner Buchanan has a good potential. I've seen him in a few smaller roles, but I know he is a main character in Cobra Kai so he does have experience with fighting he could bring to the role (I haven't seen the show but I did watch clips on youtube). And as you pointed out, those green eyes are a big plus!
I think Curran Walters does a good job in Titans for what the show wants of him, but once again, it's just not my Jason and I rage quit season 3 😂 (though I watched clips of key Red Hood moments from later in the season)
Tim is always the hardest member of the main Batfam for me to write or cast just because he is the one I have the least knowledge or experience with outside of fanfics. However, I still really like him as a character and think he has a lot of potential in a movie or show. And I haven't seen Locke and Key (though it is on my list because I LOVE Aaron Ashmore)
I am excited with the prospect of having Bruce and Damian together in The Brave and the Bold, but I am also very nervous about how they will characterize them. All the Batman projects since Batman Begins have skewed very dark and I don't think that works well if you bring in the whole Batfam (if they just want to add Dick with Battinson, I think that could work but not expanding it to the whole gang). But James Gunn's comments about making the new Superman movie more about kindness feels like it will be a brighter, lighter version (more like the Christopher Reeve movies than the Henry Cavill ones) which I feel is more accurate to most comics, so I am cautiously optimistic for the Batfam in these movies. However, the canon and fanon versions of the Batfam don't always match (neither does the canon version between comic writers), but I am still hopeful for the more loving version we want, and is portrayed fairly well in the DC Animated movies.
As for Duke, Cass, Steph, and Barbara, I'm going to include them in my next post so you will have to wait a little to get my thoughts on them as well as a few others😉
Though because you brought up ages I will mention that all of my castings are based on if I were making a movie or show today. There are a lot of different people I would have loved to have in these roles in the past that are unfortunately just too old at this point.
And just another shout-out to Wayne Family Adventures because it is everything I ever wanted from a Batfam comic/story!!! Plus, the art is so perfect! Yes, the comic is a lot of fan service, but it is really funny while also being deep and emotional at times. It never loses the heart of the characters and you can tell there is so much love in the project and for these characters. If we could get a show or even a web series of this version of the Batfam, it would be a dream come true!

BEWARE THE BAT CHARACTER DROP: PEACEMAKER
voice claim/Fancast: Wyatt Russell
(I chose this because Wyatt can play the role of an overly patriotic asshole character very well (see Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters))
I don't think anyone needs an origin story for Peacemaker, mine is almost Identical to James Gunn's however, in the Titanoverse, Peacemaker starts off his career as a hired hitman for many of the crime families in Gotham, under the guise of Batman being a menace to society as a whole. Chris fights Batman several times, as well as the heroes adjacent to him (Selina, Montoya, etc...)

I've noticing lots of Batman editing with Olie these day? What is happening?!!!
"these days" anon i'm going to be real with you, for years i've seen this man fancast as literally the entire justice league: alan scott/green lantern, oliver queen/green arrow, bruce wayne/batman, martian manhunter, john constantine, arthur curry/aquaman, as well as half the x-men, all male members of the fantastic four, the entire bat family, and tons of villains as well as of course moon knight who people are still campaigning him for 2 years after the show was actually shot. not to mention people who want him for the james bond, q, the next james bond villain and the main husband character in the upcoming film adaptation of the seven husbands of evelyn hugo.
is oliver the most fancast man in historoy? maybe.
of course they're all wrong and he really should play midnighter in the upcoming film adaptation of the authority : )

About (new post)
It's been a while and almost a hundred new followers since I've done an "about me" post. I figured it was probably time to fix that.
Hi, I'm Kieran. I'm 28, I go by they/them pronouns
I write fanfiction and post headcanons and meta / observations / rants to the void about my fandoms and hyperfixations in my spare time (I work full-time as a server, but don't feel comfortable sharing what company I work at). I do accept requests for writing and headcanons, my inbox is always open for those and to just chat!
I have a discord account that I'm far more active on because I sometimes forget that tumblr exists (ameenjouee is my handle there if anyone wants to add me).
I have a large range of fandoms that I write for, but tend to cycle through and only focus on a handful at a time. I usually post when these fandoms change, but haven't done so yet recently (I'll do so in a new post after this)
This post will also act as a "Before You Follow" post, and an invitation to unfollow me to any newbies around here that don't feel comfortable sticking around with the following information out there:
As a writing blog, I have a few rules:
I do not condone ship bashing. I'm also a multi-shipper within most of my fandoms rather than have one ship that I focus in on. I like some variety in my writing. Any harassment that stems from me writing a ship that isn't majority in a fandom or that "gets in the way" of a popular ship will be answered by a block. I'm not the person to try that shit with.
I don't condone white-washing - be it via fancasts or culturally in portrayal. As someone with Romani heritage who grew up removed from a culture that I have to learn now that I have access to the side of my family that it comes from, I will always go to bat for people and cultures that aren't being represented or heard.
I'm very conscious of tagging triggering topics when I post my writing. If you like seeing my content but need something specific tagged as a trigger, please reach out (anon or not, I want anyone who takes up with my content to be safe reading it), and I'll make sure the topic is tagged both pre-content in post and in the tags from now on.
I will not write reader-insert.
As a person, I also have the following heads up to give:
I'm neurodivergent, that's about all you need on that one.
I'm non-binary, panromantic, demisexual (to be read as: homophobic and transphobic comments ain't gonna fly with me)
I don't have posting schedules, it's very much a "when I have time" or "when I finish it" kind of mess of a blog.
I'm very vocal when it comes to politics, ecological welfare, and human rights - these posts will be mostly contained to my personal blog, not my writing. The only real reason I include it is because the first time someone steps to my blog with some "blue lives matter" bullshit due to my writing for the 911 & Lone Star fandoms, I'll be reporting and blocking you, thanks.
But if all that seems fine by you, welcome to my blog. Feel free to stay a while and chat.

Fancast of the day: Teresa Ting as Cassandra “Batgirl” Cain!
Cassandra Cain is the daughter of famous assassins David Cain and Lady Shiva. Cassandra was groomed from a young age to be the worlds greatest assassin having been denied speech and human touch during her childhood and formative years resulting in her being mute, having extremely limited to non existent social skills, and being illiterate. She is the first and only asian member of the Bat Family having held the Batgirl codename and even being the first Batgirl to hold her own comic book series where she would later pass the mantle down to Stephanie Brown. Cass Cain made her comic book debut in July of 1999 in the pages of Batman #567 and she would later go on to appear as Batgirl in issue #120 in the pages of Legends of the Dark Knight. I chose Teresa Ting because Cassandra needs a certified badass to protray her, she needs someone who can do convincing stunts, be cold, callous, and give off an air of dangerous. Maybe the DCEU Cassandra Cain will have been Batgirl for awhile at somone point in Batman’s 20 years and the Cass that we meet is settled into herself and past the trauma of her past.

So.... It’s 1AM right now, but John Boyega tweeted that. I caved in and drew him as Jason bc I really would love to see him play Jason... I think it would be neat

BEWARE THE BAT CHARACTER DROP: REVISED: BRUCE WAYNE/BATMAN
Fancast: Charlie Cox(known most famously for Daredevil)
ok so this might be a bit of typecasting since he plays a character damn near identical to Batman on the Marvel side of things, but whatever so is my fancast of Pedro Pascal as Deadshot
but anyway, I decided to go for a younger Bruce Wayne since it made more sense to me when it comes to several character dynamics, and tbh, having the entire family is too much for me to handle, his characterization is gonna be a mix between 2022's The Batman and Batman Begins; a bit experienced in combat but still he is arrogant, unstable and especially brutal. Beware the bat takes place when bruce is in his late 20s, hence the casting change
