Hello there.

Tomura was raised to be an attack dog/a puppet. His will had to be broken and AFO did that with some good old manipulation, isolation and brainwashing. Tomura was never supposed to be good at this whole villain thing, to grow up, or to be a leader. His maturity was stunted on purpose, he was kept in a state of mental imbalance, and the only thing nurtured about him was his hatred.

In many ways, Tomura didn’t become a real person before AFO got sent to Tartarus.

Now, unto the kids in the hospital! I know AFO said that there were back-up plans but it would be a waste to have so many of them just sitting in one place and doing nothing until Tomura broke and AFO was suddenly in need of another “successor” ASAP.

That’s why I truly believe that those kids were supposed to go out into the world, be they as members of All for One’s organization or as sleeper agents. The difference of living conditions is that, unlike Tomura, for them to be useful, AFO would need them to appear normal and to know how to behave in society. Hence why they would need to be socialized, unlike what we see with Tomura.

I still have so many questions about this daycare.

How many kids did AFO have here as backups? How were they treated? Those two girls seem extremely happy to live there, and these shots indicate that the kids were allowed to freely interact to some extent. (The Get Well Soon sign in Touya's room, the shot of the kids hanging out has multiple silhouettes of other kids)

The fact that there are girls there at all is interesting, as that implies AFO was willing to use their bodies, so Diversity Win?

What kind of Quirks did they have? Did all of them die in the fire? We know that AFO had Kurogiri at this point so it's not impossible for them to have evacuated. If they survived, where are they now?

They can apparently just call up AFO at any time, too, and he talks to them and tells them about the other kids

What's the age range on these kids? The cartoon wall decorations imply that the kids are on the younger side, but Touya is roughly 16 at this point (Admittedly he spent three years in a coma but still)

The girl also says that she "only came [there] recently" so they were all taken at different times. How did they get taken? Did they have parents or were all these kids scooped up off the street?

Imagine doing a crossover between Spiderverse and RADSC Izuku. So much chaos

Izuku meets the spidergang and asks if he can be Spiderman too. They all agree specifically to spite Miguel and encourages him and try to gift him web shooters but Izuku immediately gets Blackwhip because Yoichi also approves of his nephew becoming a spiderman.

Izuku and Miles need to infiltrate the Spider Society HQ and Miles gets immediately recognized while Izuku is welcomed and no one pays attention to him.

Miguel tries to send Izuku back to his universe but it never sticks because the Plot wants to get rid of Izuku so portals keep appearing. Izuku doesn't even need a watch.

How heartwarming to see that AfO wasn't decorating a five-year-old with dead hands like ornaments on a christmas tree in order to further traumatize him, but because he himself has his precious taxerdermied hand and thought 'oh yeah the kid will love this'

I am admittedly neutral when it comes to Inko in general, mostly because there isn't much to her outside of being Izuku's mom. It isn't a bad thing and definitely gives people more to work with in their attempts at giving her more character than what we got
