Shih Tzus of antiquity possessed powerful empathic magic that allowed them to understand and react to the moods of their owners. Additionally, they had powers of suggestion that allowed them to influence humans; this was generally used for good (such as soothing sadness) but was often used to mischievous ends too (getting food from the table).

Modern Shih Tzus are a mix of old stock and Pekingese. To that end, their telepathic powers have been lessened but they have gained camouflage. The resulting breed is notoriously quiet and resistant to training!

A world where humans have no innate magic but our pets do.

Cat magic is pretty raw and they mainly use it for getting into places they’re not supposed to. They can be trained if you’re patient, and will sometimes do favours for their owners out if the blue, but only if they want to.

Dogs have been bred for specific magic over the centuries and each breed can do certain things. Showing off your magic is an essential part of a dog show.

Horses come in horse, pegasus, and unicorn, each with their own magical talents.

i saw you planned on watching Emilia Perez and i hope i'm here early to tell you DON'T!!! it's awful!! it's racist!! it's transphobic!! and it's also not a good movie nor a good musical! the songs are awful, poorly translated and poorly sang!

the french guy that made it took a huge problem that affects my country (missing/disappeared people, either murdered for their organs or put into prostitution/human trafficking) and made a musical

he admitted to not having researched México/mexican culture AND YEAH IT SHOWS, there's only one mexican actress in the cast, the spanish te non-spanish-speaking actors use is AWFUL, probably translated with AI (and afaik they also used AI to "correct" the singing voices (with no good results))

i know i can't stop you from watching it if you really want to, and maybe it's out of morbid curiosity, but if it's legit interest i warn you: it's not even so-so, it's trash overall, save your time
