I wish depression were an emergency. I wish someone could take one look at how sick I am and go “oh my god, we need to get you to a hospital!” and then when we get there I get rushed into surgery and the surgeons say “it’s a good thing you brought her here when you did, this is a seriously advanced case” and then they put me under and spend the next ten hours pulling metres of long, sticky black strands of gunk out of my body, throwing it immediately into an incinerator so that it can’t infect anyone else. And then they could stitch me back up and I could rest a few days, and when I leave the hospital everyone can see how much better I am and they congratulate me saying “well done, you’ve been so brave, I’m so glad you’re ok. I love you.”

Male pregnancy is a real thing. Not only is it a real thing that some intersex or mulleripathian men experience (if they have a functional uterus), it is also not inherently feminine. Not all pregnant men will be feminine-presenting. Not all pregnant men will be submissive, either.
Non-binary pregnancy is a real thing. Non-binary people can also be intersex or mulleripathian (with a functional uterus). Not all pregnant non-binary people will have a feminine or masculine gender. Not all pregnant non-binary people will be submissive, either.
Pregnancy =/= femininity. Pregnancy =/= submissivity. Submissivity =/= femininity. All of these things exist as separate concepts. By treating pregnancy as feminine, and femininity as submissive, you are perpetuating misogyny.
You are also misgendering or feminizing people who have masculine, androgynous, neutral, null, genderless, xenine, outherine, or other gender experiences when you treat pregnancy this way.
If you have a breeding kink and personally enjoy the pregnant person being submissive, that is fine. But you shouldn't allow your kink to dictate your view of real people.
Additionally, if you treat pregnancy as a whole as feminine and submissive, you are equally treating people with prostates, seminal vesicles, and testicles as masculine and dominant. This perpetuates the same misogyny, and misgenders and masculinizes non-masculine people with the ability to impregnate others.
Not all pregnant people will have a vulva, ovaries, and a fully developed/present mullerian duct - they may have an underdeveloped or absent cervix, a unicornuate or hypoplastic uterus, absent ovaries, small ovaries, streak ovaries, testicles, ovotesticular syndrome, a penis, ambiguous genitals, urethral traits, agenital traits, bottom surgery, etc.
Not all pregnant people are capable of vaginal birth, simply because of their anatomy, and that doesn't mean they aren't valid parental figures (and even if they are capable of it, a c-section may be healthier or preferred, and you shouldn't view c-sections as any less of a birthing experience than vaginal birth.)
The same applies the other way around, too. Not all people capable of impregnating others will have a penis, testicles, and a fully developed/present wolffian duct.
Please stop applying genders and traits to reproductive and genital traits. Please stop applying genders to any characteristics, actually.

(sorry that we keep sending in different versions of the same ask, we're just trying to get our words right so people stop harassing us. This will be our final submission on this matter, please don't post any of our prior asks)
It's intersexism when people claim that "an abortion is never eugenicist" when we explain that intersex fetuses are selectively aborted, and that selective abortion is "just abortion", failing to put in any nuance or research.
An abortion can be eugenicist, actually, if your entire intention behind it is wiping intersexuality away to "start fresh" and have a "normal" child.
There's no reason why the chromosomes or genitals of your fetus should dictate your decision to abort, and there's no way to know for certain that your "perisex" child doesn't have hidden intersex traits or will develop hormonal variations later in life.
Selective abortion is a massive contributor as to why intersexuality is so "rare." This is also done to disabled fetuses with non-lethal disabilities.
If you aren't ready to have an intersex or disabled child, you're not ready to be a parent, because you can't predict if your child will develop those things later in life even if they seem "normal" in the womb.
(We are NOT saying to ban abortions or deny abortions to people. We're saying education needs to be improved so that people stop thinking of intersexuality as something inherently negative. This isn't about abortion rights, it's about teaching people compassion before they get to this point, and fostering a world where intersexuality is normalized, and thus, there's no stigma around having an intersex child.)
this is intersexism and ableism.
yes, selective abortions are an issue. it's continuing eugenics.
it isn't anti-choice because the decision is not to prohibit abortions. the decision is to protect intersex rights and disabled rights, to build accommodating world, and to oppose stigma around intersexness and disability.
also it's important to oppose medical coercion to abort intersex and disabled fetuses! because it happens! if the fetus appears "healthy," pregnant person is pressured to give birth. but if the fetus appears intersex or disabled (intersexness is basically seen as disability in this case), medical workers often pressure parents to get abortion! (also if parents are disabled, but it's another topic).
it's a systemic issue. we should fight it on systemic level.

Trans-women & cis-women can't be told apart.
So tired of people saying they "aren't attracted to trans-women" or "aren't attracted to intersex women."
You cannot tell who is cis or trans by looking at them. You cannot tell who is intersex or dyadic. You can have genital preferences, but you can't know what's in someone's pants by looking at them.
Intersex women can be cisgender. They can be AFAB. They can appear fully female externally, while having "male" or ambiguous organs internally. Or they can be fully female internally and externally, with only their chromosomes or hormones being different. (If you want to actually learn what it means to be intersex, read our post on it and reblog to spread awareness.)
And even if a cisgender woman is female, they can be altersex. They can choose to have their genitals altered. They can choose to go on hormones of some kind.
Equally, trans women can be intersex. They can have a vulva. Or they can be transsex, and have a vaginoplasty or vulvoplasty.
A cis woman could be intersex and have atypical genitals.
A trans woman could be intersex and have a vulva.
A trans woman could have a vulva from bottom surgery.
A cis woman could have been born with a vulva, but due to being altersex, have their genitals changed through bottom surgery.
A cis woman could be bulky, have a deep voice, have lots of body or facial hair, and a prominent Adams apple, due to being intersex, altersex and using hormones, or just straight up genetics.
A trans woman could be petite, have a light voice, have very little hair, and no Adams apple due to being intersex, altersex/transsex, or just straight up genetics.
A cis woman could have no uterus and/or ovaries, due to being intersex or having a hysterectomy or oophorectomy.
A cis woman could have testicles due to being intersex, or being altersex and having prosthetic testes.
A trans woman could have a uterus and/or ovaries due to being intersex.
Saying you are "only attracted to cis-women" is just ignorance, transphobia, intersexism, and altersexism. You don't know what you are talking about. You are implying that trans or intersex women look "less feminine" or "less like a woman." You are WRONG if you think that.
Yes, transphobes and intersexists unfortunately can sometimes clock a trans or intersex women, but cisgender dyadic women are also being accused of "not passing" constantly by transvestigators. That's our point. PASSING AND NOT PASSING IS CISNORMATIVE AND RIDICULOUS.
This goes for people who claim not to be attracted to trans or intersex men too. But its more often seen for trans and intersex women.
