Sure you could fall in love with me but would you put up glow in the dark stars all over our bedroom walls with me? Would you paint our mailbox fun colors with me? Would you make pancakes in silly shapes and buy knickknacks we’ll never use and pick up hobbies we won’t stick to with me? Would you live and be silly and be a little dumb and be a genius and be confident and lazy and kind and angry and everything? Would you give me absolutely every side of yourself that you can??

Halloween
HA FInally got this done!!!
The second the elevator doors opened peter crossed his arms and scowled as he stepped off, waiting for the demon to come get him. “Mr. Stark! I think they got the sizing wrong because there is no way you decided to order me like this!” He called out, huffing when he saw the demon come from the lab. There was amusement in those black eyes, which only made his cheeks heat up.
“I did, I know you hate not being able to do things around the tower and I’m fine for today.” The demon crouched in front of him, something he normally did while Peter got used to his height, only he already was. Being three feet was a change yeah, but he could still reach doorknobs. “But like this big? Mr. Stark, I look like a toddler.” He complains looking away. And he wasn’t used to this height which sucked.
“And so? Normally you’re a lot smaller, what’s the apprehension here?” Tony prompts, Peter hearing the shifting of the demon’s tail swishing behind him. “The problem is that I had no idea that I was going to be a different size! Not only that! It’s Halloween so like two different people asked where my parents were and told me my costume was interesting!”
“I never know what size I'm going to be until I'm there and I don’t like it! Everything is so disorienting cause I'm expecting to be small but sometimes I’m too small and- and now I havfta worry about being too big!” He continues not noticing that he was trembling. The demon stayed quiet for a few more seconds before Peter felt the demon’s hand lightly nudge his back, pushing him forward until he stumbled into the demon’s embrace. “I’m sorry Peter, I... I didn’t know they weren’t telling you what size you were going both be...Would you like me to text you a heads up? "The demon’s soothing voice rumbles. Dammit it was hard being mad at his mentor when the demon literally tried fixing everything.
“You don’t even have my phone number.” Peter says miserably, finally glancing up at the demon. Huh seeing the guilty expression form on the demon’s face was great, even more so when some obviously Italian curses eft his mentor’s mouth.
“Shit, you're right kid! God I'm so sorry.” He croons, Peter not saying a dang word as he was practically scooped into strong arms, the warmth seeing into him like wildfire. This wasn’t bad either. He sighs and buries his face into the expensive suit the demon was no doubt wearing. “Jarvis will fix that eight away alright? No more mystery sizes I swear little snack.”
“Thanks Mr. Stark I just..it’s hard sometimes, cause everything is loud and cold and I.. I get used to being 11 inches so being big is weird because ya know I’m used to needing a heating pad or help reaching a door handle.” He murmurs gripping the smooth fabric with his hands. A soothing hand rang through his curls, lightly scratching at his scalp. A soft hum escaped him as he wriggled closer. Mr. Stark listened to him, much to his relief, not seeming upset at all.
There was a comfortable silence that fell over them, Mr. Stark lightly running a hand through his hair or rubbing his back. It was a great feeling, and he didn’t want it to end.
“So..what are we going to be doing tight hmm?”
Peter shifts slightly looking up to the demon before shrugging “I Dunno, I mean normally May takes me trick or treating but um..I'm a little old and she’s working a double shift.”
The grin that spread across the demon’s lips made Peter regret what he said immediately.
“Well, I mean you did say you were on the tot size today.” Mr. Stark drawls, brushing curling out of his face with a smirk. “Mr. Stark I am not a toddler.” Peter replies slowly, leaning back in slight embarrassment. “Come on we’ll put you in like an ironman onesie, we have them on standby in the daycare, we’ll grab a bucket and go score some full-size snickers.”
“But! No one is gonna fall for that!?” Peter exclaims, trying to stumble out of the demon’s embarrassment, blushing hard when he nearly tripped only saved by the demon’s wings. “Let's just try, okay? Come on it’ll be fun Bambi, candy, costumes and I’ll finally have pictures for the lab.”
Peter hides his face with a groan knowing that the subject wouldn’t be dropped. “There’s no way you won’t be noticed, you’re like the only demon in the city!” He points out trying to derail the conversation. "It's Halloween and is going to be dark I could simply be going as tony stark.”
Well Mr. Stark was totally never going to drop this.
“Fine. But if I get tired, you’re carrying me.”
“Deal. Let’s get that onesie.”
Peter refused to be carried on their trip to the lobby and insisted he could put it on himself when Mr. Stark handed the onesie to him. Once he zipped it up, he was surprised the fabric was nice, and blissfully warm. He lets a pleased hum out rubbing the sleeves with a wide grin. It wasn’t the worst thing that he had to wear yet. He was too busy marveling at the niceness of the onesie to notice Mr. Stark was watching him fondly, he only was brought back from his thoughts when Mr. Stark chuckled.
“You ready?”
“Y-Yeah let's go.”
_—__----__---- _—__----__---- _—__----__---- _—__----__---- _—__----__---- _—__----__---- _—__----__----
The first few houses Peter wanted to curl up and die from embarrassment but after a while he got used to it, starting to laugh with the rest of the groups coming for candy. He eagerly scurries back to Mr. Stark, his eyes sparkling with happiness as he presented a full-sized candy bar. “Mr. Stark! Look!”
The demon’s eyes flick down to the golden wrapped bar, a smile dancing on the demon’s lips. “Very exciting, I mean it’s going to last you days with you being so short.” He teases, Peter groaning when he felt the demon pat his head. “I’m not small Mr. Stark and you know it!” Peter protesting as they moved towards the next house, kids started disappearing as the night grew longer and colder. He could feel the demon's tail lightly snake around him, as if to make sure he wouldn’t get lost in the sea of kids around them.
“I don’t know kid; I mean normally you’re bite sized.” The demon teases, his wing flaring out to stop the kid from walking out into the street, waiting a second before crossing with Peter.  “H-hey! Not here Mr. Stark ...please?” The tone was enough to make the demon sigh and nod, nudging the kid to a small house that still had its light on. “Fair enough, how about you hit that house and we call it a day hmm?”
Peter was going to protest and say that he was fine but to his surprise a yawn escaped him, making his cheeks flush red instantly. “M’ not tired.” he says quickly, unconsciously gripping the demon’s pants as they grew closer to the house. He didn’t exactly like the decorations; they were too loud. Plus, it didn’t look like many kids were eager to go up to the house either.
“Not tired? Sure, I totally believe you.”
Peter’s grip tightened on the fabric when Mr. Stark tried nudging him forward. It wasn’t that he was scared it was just that..the house was too dark. Yeah. “I’m really not tired! I normally go to bed around like 12.” He points out not budging an inch. Mr. Stark let out a sigh and before Peter knew it, he was scooped into the demon’s arms. His cheek t up when he processed that, his grip already latched onto the silky fabric. “How about we head back now hmm? I mean your time is almost up anyway.”
“Okay..yeah let's do that.” Peter says, resting his head against the demon’s chest. Oh! He could still hear the demon’s heartbeat...that was a sigh. He lets a small sigh out squeezing his eyes shut. Slowly he could feel himself dozing off from the swaying motion. A chuckle rumbles next to his ears but Peter couldn’t bring himself to care.
He wasn’t sure when they got back to the tower but Mr. Stark nudging him awake was not appreciated. “Mr. Stark- I don’t..please May is working a double I...” he whines further burying his face into the demon’s chest. Funny to know a few weeks ago he would’ve been shaking at the thought of being held so close to the pred.
“I know kiddo..I know, but you still have to clock out. Not only that you’re still toddler sized.”
It made sense. Too much sense and he hated it.
“Pick me up then?”
Silence.
“Yeah, kid I’ll pick you up, but you still have to go with Devon.”
Peter groans as he blinks awake pushing away from the warmth and overall sense of safety. He looked away when he noticed the gaze of the demon as on him, amusement shining in those black eyes. “I’m up I'm up! Don't look at me like that.” He whines pushing away from his mentor’s chest. Thankfully Mr. Stark got the message and set him down with a soft laugh.
“Okay..I um..right! You probably want the onesie back.” He mumbles unzipping the front and stepping out of the soft material. He scowls when he realizes how cold the PTG is! Uniform really was. He shudders at the loss of warmth offering the outfit to Mr. Stark. The demon took it, ruffling Peter’s hair with a fond smile. “I’ll see you soon kid, I’d walk you down, but I know you hate that.”
“I don’t hate it I just..I don’t want the people to stare..it’s still weird for me Mr. Stark.” He points out, rubbing his arms and shifting from foot to foot. “I don’t wanna be rude but I’m really cold right now.” He whines. Mr. Stark smiles and nudges him to the elevator, the demon’s tail swishing behind him. “Alright squirt head on down, I’ll go get the car.”
Peter nods and steps into the elevator, awkwardly waving at the demon before the door closed. “Jarvis? Could you take me down?” he asks, looking up at the ceiling with a small smile. “Of course, young sir, I suspect we’ll see you soon?”
“Yeah..I mean Mr. Stark said he’d pick me up so hopefully.” Peter says rocking one the balls of his feet. Spending time alone at the apartment wasn’t exactly fun Afterall. Without May it was quiet and almost scary. Plus, the less time he spends in the apartment with the heat and lights on the less money was spent. “Sir will pick you up, he has a habit of honoring his promises.” Jarvis reassures. Honestly how did an ai sound that reassuring?
Peter sighs and nods, stepping off the elevator once the doors slowly opened. He followed the little pathway towards the door, waving at the receptionist as he headed outside, shuddering at the cool air. At least the ironman onesie had been warm. He sighs softly and waits by the curb, rubbing his arms as he waits for the brightly colored car to arrive. It wasn’t long before Devon pulled up, the van doors opening.
Peter eagerly climbed in, sighing at the warmth as he got onto the seat. “Hey Mr. Flint! Sorry about the early pick up.” He says sheepishly as he clicks his seatbelt on. “Hey, no worries kid, I’m just hoping it wasn’t because of anything that happened.” The van rumbled as the driver pulled back onto the street heading back to the company’s building.
“Oh! No, actually, Mr. Stark took me trick or treating! It was fun and everything and he said I could crash at the tower after work.” Peter says looking at the window and watching the buildings pass by. “Aunt May is working a double and I ah..I didn’t want to be alone.” he adds on sheepishly fiddling with his seat belt.
“Hey no judgement here. Bet it’ll be weird seeing him while your fully sized.” Devon jokes, Peter grinning a bit as he looked at the driver. “I mean I’ve seen him full sized at least twice, like remember when I ran off before work?” He could see the man flinch at the reminder. He forgot how much he had truly scared Devon that day..he hadn't shown up to work, wasn't texting anyone..it had been a rough day. “And there was like two times at the store, once I um...I ran into that pred again and had a panic attack, the second time I was with May.”
“Still pretty jarring huh?” Devon asks softly as he turns after the light turns green. “Yeah..I mean it’s crazy that I fit in there ya know? I never really thought about it, like we’re all aware that preds can do that but...” Peter trails off unsure on how to word it. “It’s just crazy.”
He can see Devon nod in the mirror a fond look on the man’s face. “I gecha. Drivers learn about it too, and little tricks on helping. You know before the company had ways to have emergency regurgitation drivers were the go-to for it. I still remember the pressure points to get someone out.”
Peter sat up straighter, his eyes burning in curiosity. He totally forgot drivers went through training too. “Really? Did you ever have to use it?” He asks immediate practically vibrating in his seat. Devon chuckles as he pulls up to the building putting the car in park. “That’s a story for another time, go on in and get dressed.”
Peter pouts but unbuckles and scrambles to get out of the van, eager to spend time with the demon. “Fine but only cause Mr. Stark is picking me up soon.” He says hopping out of the van. “Have fun kid and be safe.” Peter waves the driver goodbye before darting into the building, heading to the changing and shower room. It didn’t take long to shimmy out of his uniform and dart outside waiting for the demon to pull up.
“Pete, hey kid over here!”
A grin stretched over his face when he saw Mr. Stark already parked and waiting for him. He didn’t waste any time heading to the car, nearly tripping over his two feet to get there. This was the first time he would be at the tower full sized after all! Plus, he didn’t exactly see Mr. Stark when he was like this, so it was going to be double awesome. He opens the passenger side door, practically falling into the open seat. “Hi Mr. Stark! You got here fast, even Devon had trouble with the traffic and stuff.” He says buckling up.
Mr. Stark chuckled, which was a little rude because he hadn’t done anything funny yet. “Traffic isn’t that bad when It's later at night when all the shops are closing.” The demon points out. The car rumbles under their feet as they pull back onto the street, Peter practically vibrating with excitement over the basically sleepover they were going to have.
“I’m so excited! Like literally! I never see the tower from a normal perspective! Do you think I’ll get dizzy or confused cause of the size change? Like it wasn’t that bad today, but it was like a two-foot different, this is going to be a little more than that, plus I can see over counter tops too.” He continues to ramble, not noticing the fond look the demon gave him all the way to the tower. When they finally got there Peter eagerly hopped out, heading to Mr. Stark's side, a tad nervous.
“Breathe kiddo, everything's going to be fine.”
Man Mr. Stark always knew when he was anxious didn’t, he? He nods, still sticking close as they went to the private elevator and took the ride up. Huh..it was a little dizzying seeing the tower from this height. Like it was the tower sure, but it seemed slightly wrong and off.
“Doing, okay? Or do we need to get you some ginger ale.” It was a genuine question even if it did sound a bit teasy, so Peter gladly accepted it. “Please? I just um..yeah it’s weird and really disorientating.” He mumbles with a grimace. He was realized when the demon nodded and headed to the kitchen, grabbing a glass and a bottle of ginger ale. Peter eagerly took the offered glass, sipping on the drink.
“I don’t even know what to do now...I mean like usually I’m already in your gut or going to be in your gut or..or um I don’t know we sorta just sit and talk a lot of the times too, don’t we?” Peter says taking a sip and closing his eyes. It was so weird opening them and being able to see over the counter. “Well how about we watch a movie? Isn’t it Halloween spirit to watch a cheesy horror movie?” the demon prompts. When Peter nods he found himself being guided over to the couch in front of a screen that would probably be as big as his apartment room.
“Come on little bite, let’s get comfortable.”
Peter totally didn’t squeak when he was pulled closer to the demon, noticing that the warmth radiating was like one that came from a furnace. He takes a shaky breath in and rests against the warmth, humming happily when a blanket draped over him.
Man, this was actually kinda nice. Peter smiles as Mr. Stark scrolls through horror movies, his eyes growing heavy. He had a pretty awesome night, trick or treating the demon he always looked up to, hanging out with the genius and! And not having to sleep alone in an apartment.

Is becoming a fairy a bad thing? If Timmy is so much happier... why IS it bad?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's a bit like suddenly thrusting the fate of the world onto some prophesied chosen child's hands. Children shouldn't have the mental fortitude to handle any of that.
Timmy's very glad and happy he became a fairy. He just thinks no other kid should have to make such a choice. You can't get mad when the former prophesied chosen child prevents you from prophesying future children the same fate.
