A simple plot before I go back to school, I had fun with this one. I'm sorry about the quality, I got the size wrong and I realized it when I had already finished the lineart.

I feel that worse than being alone is knowing that they don't want you there.

i recently got this case for my 3ds (its an official case for the n2dsxl) and was hoping to make good use of the cartridge slots but the thing is they're textile, so putting a cartridge in them worries me that itll get dusty fast. and they're tight, so i doubt that ordering cartridge protectors online will be worth it as those probably wont fit. for the time being im just putting my two cartridges in a little plastic bag and leaving them in freeroam in the case on this side of the divider, but yeah do you or any of your followers have suggestions for how to use these slots and keep the carts protected from lint?

I personally keep all of my carts in a metal tin (think Altoids container) and then the extras are stored in a makeup bag (never used for makeup just to be clear)

I think the worst that could happen with lint is that you need to wipe it on your shirt or like, a microfiber cloth before you put it in the 3DS. I've actually noticed the issue with carts not reading properly is 90% of the time dust in the cart slot, not an issue with the cart itself.

the amount of times I've fixed a "broken" DS with a quick qtip swipe to the cartridge slot cannot be understated

So basically, I wouldn't be worried. The carts are pretty hardy and are built to last. They can take a serious beating.

and while i'm getting hot takes off my chest i sometimes see people Online (not just tumblr) ask who keeps wanting slimmer and more lightweight laptops and the answer is: people who have to carry laptops back and forth to places regularly, for work or school or whatever. i like my big 18" laptop screens and multiple ports but if i had to carry this thing with me every day, i would probably just get a mac tbqh

#speaking from experience of traveling with it in my backpack #it never feels heavy carrying it around your house or whatever #carrying it when traveling or even just trying to write in a coffeeshop instead is different #if i had to carry a computer with me daily #it would NOT be this computer

I'm about 45 mins until the 'Window The Movers Will Arrive In' will open and I can finally Get All That Over With - but I am absolutely dropping everything that I was doing beforehand to go get coffee

i am a big big fan of trinkets and merch yknow stuff like stickers, pins, keychains etc. theyre often very cool and cute and fun and theyre usually pretty cheap and many small artists sell their little merch which helps support them but my problem is that i dont know WHERE id wear my little merch if i got any..... i dont have any cool jackets, i dont have a purse or a backpack, i dont have a car for bumper stickers, i dont even have a water bottle. i dont even have keys. what am i supposed to do with these thangs
