A few years before the events of Baldur's Gate 3, she made a pact with Raphael for him to lend her his strength to escape from her captors. Of course, this will come with a price later when she will have to pay him...

"Nor—Hey, Nor, wake up!"

A hushed voice rouses him from his sleep, prompting him to open his eyes.

"...Hype?"

Hypelare was knelt beside his bed, "Yeah! Wake up, sleepyhead. We're bringing you somewhere!"

"Huh?" Noor sat up, rubbing his eyes. It was still dark out, but...?

"Where? What time is it?"

"Near dawn!! Come on, we don't have much time!"

At the unusually urgent tone of Hype's voice, Noor almost jumps out of bed, not forgetting to grab the poncho he'd received from Cumulus and Tundra a few days ago.

Slipping it on, he follows Hype outside and is met with Zephyrus waiting out in the hall.

"Hey!" Zephyrus lights up at the sight of the two, "Let's go!!"

As they're sneaking down the stairs, Noor is still rubbing the sleep from his eyes, yawning.

"Where are Zeph and Hype taking Nor...?"

"It's a surprise! And someone else is coming with us," Hype puts a finger to his lips.

By a quick look at the clock, it was probably around 0549. A handful of minutes until sunrise. *Why would they bring him out so early?* He wonders.

They sneak out the front door and Noor sees someone else standing outside.

It's Azarel!

"Starlight! Sandstorm! You brought him!" The older fusion towers over him, greeting him with a wide smile, "Little Diamond! I'm glad you came."

Noor smiles back, "Nor is too! But... Nor doesn't know why Big Bro Hype and Zeph brought him out here..."

Azarel, who he was initially shy around, and quite scared really because of his stature. Yet with Hype and Zephyrus, Noor quickly discovered that the winged fusion was much more joyful and childlike than his figure conveyed.

"Ah, no need to worry, Little Diamond! It'll be fun!" Azarel reached down to ruffle his hair, "But we have no time to waste!"

"It's coming up soon!" Hype agreed.

"Let's go!" Zephyrus hopped in excitement, holding Noor's hands, "Come on, Nor!"

The three fusions took flight, with Noor following after.

The indigo sky was slowly bleeding color, as the minutes ticked by. They broke through the clouds, droplets of water condensing on their arms and clothing.

"Any time now!" Azarel says, his wings lengthening.

Hype holds onto his glasses as they ascend, shooting Noor a wide grin.

"Take a look down!" Zephyrus almost yells, holding Noor's hand.

He does, and the view is surreal.

Beneath the clouds, the expansive forest. An endless green with their house in the middle. His home.

Noor almost tears up from the beauty of it all.

"Now look up!"

A bright light.

It's the sun. It paints the sky with its colors, pink and orange and shrinking blue. It awakens beyond the horizon. Greeting them with its golden gleam.

His breath hitches.

"Now, get ready!" Azarel shouts, and they all link their hands together. His other hand held by Hype. He's greeted with the smiling faces of his family.

And they drop, breaths held.

Laughter, they all bask in each other's joy as the wind whistles around them.

Noor's heart has never raced in such excitement and euphoria.

"Embrace it, Little Diamond! Don't forget!"

He'd treasure the feeling forever!

Books!

Hi everybody, at the begining of the year I purchased the two María Montez Books shown here, and I also have the biography of Tina Aumont that was published in 2019.

These books have wonderful photos of María, her family and Tina, and also have beautiful information of them.

I'm very happy to have them cause I will understand better these great big family.

@74paris told me that all Aumont, Villiers and Gracia/Montez descendants are still in touch, they really love eachother and they have a strong bond, even all their descendants are considered cousins among them, which is really beautiful keeping in mind that they are a one BIG family. In a youtube interview Dominic Fuentes said that once a year all the cousins meet so they don't lose any contact.

Although Marisa Pavan tried to separate them, love won because love was stronger, and even at her denial, Tina kept contact with her brothers Jean-Claude and Patrick and Jean-Claude helped her a lot and went with her at their father funeral.

Love always wins!

Astarion would fiddle with her long tail as it wrapped itself around his body and she'd put flowers between his curls. Nevertheless, between a longing look and the other, they would deny to be more than just friends. "Love takes the wildest heart and makes it tame. I much prefer being alone"

Pining for each other wasn't in their plans, but feelings happened.

They have similar traumatic events in their pasts, but Azarel's main issue along with physical intimacy also involve severe trust issues.

She is a very romantic person but admitting (even to herself) to feel something for someone outright brings her pain.

"Because it isn't the ending that matters, but the events it took to get there," replied Azarel, "In the grand scheme of things, the end goal is such a fleeting thing, is it not? The journey you undertook to attain that goal. That is what truly changes you."

"...So, what's the story?"

"Well, it begins with a tragedy."

"How depressing."

"Don't worry. It's only for a short while, everything passes after all."
