just once I want to see a good post critiquing makeup culture that doesn’t turn out to be made by some janky radfem blog

#rb #i remember seeing a recommended news article stating that women who don't wear makeup at all are trashy #or that it's somehow UNPROFESSIONAL for a woman to not wear makeup #i can't stand makeup culture #i have worn makeup twice ever in my life and it felt awful on my skin #wear makeup if you want to but the whole thing about it being a “requirement” to be a woman to some people is genuinely insane #do what you want!!!!! be you !!#makeup is an art form and can enhance your features for yourself or to show it off!!!#but having no makeup ever is good too and should be WAY more normalized than it is now!!!#rant #ramble

For anyone who doesn't want to support Google right now to the best of their ability, Firefox is one of the only remaining browsers and apps that don't run on Google services !!!! Just putting this out there since I just found out as well that the browser I'd been using to avoid Google, Brave, runs on chromium, Google's open source code.

Firefox also has a decent AdBlock, extensions, themes, and is faster and less bulky than other browsers that don't support Google. Firefox has a mobile app as well !!

Seriously, Google? You actually changed Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America on Google Maps?

What the fuck?!
