I absolutely love the idea of Raphael musing that Raksha can be a "worse devil" than he is. Because they know how to pull his strings and make him even more obsessed. In this case, I suppose they managed to make him feel quite jealous. :)

I post the great majority of Raksha and Raphael's lore over my nsfw Twitter but sometimes I remember to do it on here too soooo

Raksha is Baalzebul's son but has been raised by a human who was essentially Frollo V.2 so you can tell the amount of religious guilt they have Raphael takes an interest in them (for egoistic reasons at first) and slowly realizes that he caught feelings. Drama ensues (neither is normal about it).

Working for a reference sheet for my Raksha (feat. Raphy as height comparison). Still far from done as I need to draw the side/back views, close-ups and a SFW edit to fully post on here.

As far as (some of) the lore goes:

Raksha was born in 1459 DR, meaning they are 33 years old during the events of Baldur's Gate 3. Their story with Raphael, however, dates back more than a decade before.

Their father is the Archdevil Baalzebul, Lord of Maladomini. It is unknown who their mother is; some speculate it's a random Cambion and others say it's Baalzebul's consort Lilith. Which means it is ambiguous if Raksha is a Cambion or a full Devil.

Raksha was raised among humans, in an extremist cult of Ilmater's worship. Their adoptive father educated them in a distant and often violent way, more to prove he could "turn even a devil into a saint" than anything else - as such, Raksha didn't consume mortal souls as a child and remained fairly "small" for a being like them. (In my lore archdevil cambions are BIG... Like my Raphy is about 9'3" lmao)

Raphael had an eye on them ever since they had made a name for themselves in Avernus, as a slayer of both demons and devils alike when they were 18. Someone so similar to him, but raised to be a holy warrior? Mhm.
