Red, Black and White Colors: Are these signs of what’s to come?
The colors worn by The Bear cast may have hidden clues to what’s to come in s3. Walk with me.
Someone on here pointed out that at least one cast member is wearing red at each event, so it got me to thinking... At the globes, Ayo wore red. At the Emmy’s and Critics Choice awards , Abby wore red. Ayo, Jeremy and Matty wore white and black colors. Red symbolizes danger, black symbolizes mourning, and white symbolizes rebirth and innocence. It is important to keep in mind on who is wearing what. It could all be a coincidence, but here are my thoughts:
Abby and Ayo in Red:
I think Ayo and Abby’s characters lives will be in danger. It has been implied that Syd may have lupus. It has been implied that Nat may have preeclampsia. One or both women may face dangers to their health in s3.
Liza, Edwin and The Bear Cast wearing Black:
Marcus, Tina , Ebra and the rest of the crew will be in mourning. I don’t think Marcus’ mom will die in s3, but I see something major happening and this will have a significant impact on the whole crew’s morale.
Ayo, Jeremy and Matty wearing Black and White:
After a health scare and mourning, there will be a wedding, but I don’t think it’s Tiff and Frank’s wedding. I think Fak will be getting married to Kelly in a shotgun wedding. See this post on why I think Kelly and Fak will be getting married in s3.
It can all be a coincidence and I’m delulu, but there is a show that I watch regularly and during the awards season last year, the cast of that show wore outfits with clues on what was to come. 6 months after the awards season, the little clues during the awards season made so much sense, so I think The Bear cast are leaving us little clues of what’s to come in s3.
In conclusion, the start of s3 will be hard, but the ending will be delicious.

AN EXTREMELY HEAVY RELIANCE ON SYDNEY. SEASON 3 THE BEAR
Especially this season, everyone seems to be relying really heavily on Sydney
The Berzattos
Cicero needed a listening ear and reassurance
Adam Shapiro
Carmy changes the menu etc and yet all questions go to Sydney
They all want or need something from her.
But nobody is really checking in on her. Richie kinda does it but in relation to the restaurant each night. (It's good that he cares though)
He relies on her too
They all seem to just expect that she'll take care of them and be grateful for the crumbs they seem to throw her way. (Not Marcus he's different and seems the closest anyone can get at the bear
It's really tiring being someone like Sydney. Everyone trusts her and her judgement. Everyone relies on her
They see her value but it probably seems to her that they just want to exploit it.
Can she get a break?
Can someone bring HER a coffee, a cookie? Something?
They should really check on their 'strong friends'

The Bear (Season 3)
TV Shows/Dramas watched in 2024
The Bear (Season 3, 2024, USA)
Creator: Christopher Storer
Directors: Christopher Storer, Duccio Fabbri, Ayo Edebiri & Joanna Calo
Mini-review:
I'm honestly surprised by the amount of hate this season has been getting from fans. Was it as good as the previous two? Maybe not, but it's still miles ahead of almost everything else on TV these days. I guess the problem is the first two had specific endpoints in mind (saving The Beef and building The Bear, respectively) and this one doesn't, which is what makes it feel rather adrift. Still, I don't think that's a bad thing, per se. This shift means plot takes a step back to focus almost completely on the inner workings of the restaurant and the characters, which in turn helps us learn so much about all of them. Seriously, how can you say it's a bad season when we get episodes like the one about Tina or the one about Natalie and her mother? And sure, the plot might not advance too much, but we get a true acting masterclass in every episode. So yeah, this season of The Bear might be slower and more contemplative, but in my opinion it's almost as momentous as the first two.

The Bear hit all the right notes: a story that pulls you in with perfect casting, character development and a banging soundtrack. Like I knew it would be good but I sure as hell wasn’t ready. If you have family trauma be prepared to get slapped in the face and to want to set something on fire. All of that to say I haven’t gotten over it and I don’t think I ever will.

Apart from the overarching tension the need for The Bear to turn a profit within 18 months provides, anyone else wonders whether the nebulous nature of Uncle Jimmy's wealth / the offhanded references he and Carmy made about him breaking legs etc. may pose another challenge in the future? What if Uncle Jimmy is in fact a mobster or is involved on some level with organized crime as is seemingly implied? Suppose the restaurant successfully turns a profit or becomes a food critics' and Michelin star darling before the deadline, but Uncle Jimmy comes under pressure from law enforcement or his 'business' *nudge-nudge-wink-wink* rivals? Will they assume that this restaurant he's invested so much in is just some money laundering front? What would happen then, how would the writers keep it funny(or not)? Would Syd stick around to deal with that level of crazy?
