Ticci Toby General Headcannons

Summary: Basic, SFW, and NSFW head-cannons. My personal thoughts, feelings, and opinions about Toby as a character.

Like! Penny! Gorgug's an artificer as well as a barbarian, which is one of my favorite classes, and it looks like he's leaning even further into it! And we can't forget Fabian double-classing as a College of Swords bard! It's so beautiful! It's amazing! Maybe we'll get Adaine doing a martial multiclass to round out the "we're doing different things!" ANYTHING'S POSSIBLE!)

Engineer's theme song is one of the few songs WITHOUT any backup. Obviously right? Because Engineer is the one playing the song.

Out of all the 33 tracks, just Engineer's theme has no backup. Only his, and when there is backup, it's an bass guitar.

But, here's the thing, all the songs are jazz, with the added instruments to go with the characters (Scout has bongos, Demo's bagpipes, Soldier's trumpet, etc)

But Sniper's? His is only saxophone. The saxophone is present in EVERY single song, in EVERY single one of the tracks. Including Engineer's.

MEANING, THIS MOTHERFUCKER MADE ALL THE SONGS:

But now that you're here, lemme tell you about what all the instruments each merc plays (FYI, I won't be mentioning taunts used twice, like the guitar, cymbals and drums. I'm only using ones unique to their characters):

Obviously Sniper and Engineer play the guitar and saxophone, as you can see. I think Sniper was also playing the saxophone in Expiration Date? But don't quote me on that.

Soldier plays the trombone, which is funny considering his theme songs are usually accompanies by trumpets. But the more you know.

Pyro has a taunt where they use their axe like a guitar, so we can assume they can play the guitar too.

Scout plays the bongos. Since almost everyone on the TF2 team can play an instrument, he for sure was playing the bongos in his own theme song:

Medic has a taunt where he plays his bonesaw like a violin, so we can assume he plays the violin.

Heavy doesn't play any instruments. I'm somewhat disappointed he doesn't have a taunt where he plays Sasha like a cello, since he would've matched with Medic's taunt. But it also makes sense with his backstory and personality, he's more of a listener then anything else.

Spy doesn't play an instrument either, but something I heard was that Spy's voice actor copies Scout's voice to make Meet The Spy more authentic, since Spy's disguise (nudge nudge wink wink to anyone who gets that reference) doesn't mimic the mercs voices. Though I'm not too sure if that's true, so don't quote me. I'm guessing Spy has a sickass singing voice considering he can voice act really well.

And finally, Demo. He plays the piano and bagpipes as seen in his taunts and probably Expiration Date. Again, for the third time, don't quote me because I couldn't find the original scene this was in.

FANTASY HIGH JUNIOR YEAR TRAILER CHARACTER ART BREAKDOWN

The character artist credited for this season on the FAQ is Cait May! Without further ado, let's get into it.

Each character card has the PC art, the PC's name, the player's name, and a couple extra details such as an NPC they're connected to and/or plot points from the previous seasons.

Here is Adaine's character card! Boggy gets pride of place of course, with his backpack and ESF (Emotional Support Frog) flag. The sword is possibly a step towards confirming the popular prediction that Adaine will multiclass as a Fighter this season. There's also a small sketch of Jawbone in the corner. Adaine's jacket has an owlbears patch on the sleeve!

Fabian's character card follows a similar formula. There's a small sketch of Bill Seacaster in the upper left corner (titled PA-PA), and there are many references to dancing. Fabian holds his sheet. In several places the words Toxic Masculinity have been crossed out! He dances now! One of Fabian's first defining lines is referenced: "I'm here to be great!"

It's not very clear what this ticket is for, but to me it looks like a ticket to a dance recital!

Kristen's character card is next! The many holy symbols she has previously believed in are seen, a sun has been crossed out, as well as "yes?". Cassandra appears in the upper right corner, while an ear of corn appears in the lower left, not crossed out!

Cassandra looks vaguely worried, which could be their natural state, or it could indicate that Kristen's questions of faith are still just as present as they have been previously.

Riz's character card is a lot more detailed than the previous ones. Trailer analysts far more intense than I will have a field day with this, I'm gonna give the sparknotes. Riz takes front and center, with his (un)license above his shoulder! Next to him is a sketch of Coach Daybreak. Several sticky notes with the words Night Yorb appear, as well as references Riz's previous cases. Drawings of Kalvaxus and a Corn Cutie are next to each other. The photo of Pok and Kalina is shown, as is a drawing of Baron. There's also a sticky note with "Jorjug" on it, which probably isn't as important but I certainly enjoy it.

Fig's character card features her art for the season, a large Anarchy symbol, and her bass guitar. A small sketch of Gilear is shown, as well as a ticket to what's likely a Cig Figs concert, and a skateboard!

The toe of a combat boot is poking out from behind the paper with the skateboard on it. Burn Towns, Get Money is also written in the corner, which is the name of one of Fig and the Cig Figs' hit songs. The Sig Figs Collective put out a fan song version that slaps, which you can find here! (Tbh you should just check out their whole discography)

Gorgug and his greatest hits appear on this character card! The 'are you my dad' bit keeps on running. Keep Going is also written several times. The white streaks are still in his hair, headphones around his neck, and his axe gets the most movement we've seen in one of these cards.

The word metal is shown, as well as a sketch of the metal flower from the very first episode.

rewatching fhsy in preparation for fhjy and I've only just noticed that in (I believe) Blast from the Passed, Lou reads out Fandrangor's properties and Zac looks at the camera and says get in the comments for Brennan to make US magical weapons and Emily goes "yeah!!". My Green Heaven, Murph gets all his gadgets from his dad and Emily gets her new bass guitar. In Forest of the Nightmare King, Gorgug gets his new axe. THAT is a good DM. it was kind of a joke but he GOT THEM THOSE ITEMS. I just never noticed they had mentioned it in the show I figured he either surprised them or was gearing them up, or maybe they had spoken about it off camera.

Hobbies

Hi! You may have seen my mod idea I posted a couple weeks ago about hobbies... basically I am starting to give my sims a hobby based on their true hobby (sports, nature, cuisine, etc). If their true hobby is fitness, then I will randomize a few different activities to make their favorite hobby. This, for me, adds more personality to the sim and also pushes me to use different objects and aspects of the game that I don't normally use. The mod idea was to have this hobby randomly generated using tokens like the favorite color and traits mod. Anyways! I am not 100% sure if it will be made - anyone can take this idea and run with it! I think some plans started which is super exciting! But I just wanted to share my list of hobbies so far that I like! These don't particularly have to increase their hobby enthusiasm in my opinion. 🤚 You were introduced to Shigaraki when you were young and as you started to develop your quirk became his protector. 🤚 He’d often find that his hand rested on your neck, two fingers over the bite marks in your neck. He matched skin tones with someone… Even if they were a vampire. 🤚 Indifferent to the guitar really, he often thinks that it gets in the way on more stealthy missions but he liked that you were able to fight without it, and found more joy in watching you punch someone across the room. 🤚 Sometimes people didn’t see you until it was too late, you might be the last thing they see after disrespecting Shigaraki or injuring him in some way.

No one could see you, you had been sitting on the bar behind Shigaraki, your legs dangling down behind him as he leant against your shins looking at the new recruits, Dabi and Toga. You were watching them carefully, your guitar rested behind the bar close enough to grab if you needed it, they talked but you noticed the movement of Dabi before Shigaraki did, you grabbed the guitar from behind the bar swinging it around stopping just short of Dabi’s neck “be careful now.” You warned, you held the forearm of your free arm resting on top of Shigaraki’s head and you rested your chin on your own arm. “Are you sure that you need him?” “We need them all unfortunately.” Shigaraki answered “Plus as annoying as he is, I believe he’s going to be useful.” “He does seem like the most capable of a lot.” You shrugged. “Mmm.” He hummed “you can drop the axe.” You sat up as you pulled back the axe, it rested on your shoulder as you slumped forward. “What?” Shigaraki mumbled as he looked at you posture. “I don’t trust him.” You answered as Dabi smirked at you, eyes easily moving over you seemingly assessing you. “So who’s the bodyguard?” Dabi asked. “None of your business.” Shigaraki answered as he turned his back to them, the conversation over as he rested the handheld console that he was playing on your thighs, as you played with his hair and Kurogiri showed the new arrivals to the rooms they could use if they wanted.

You were sitting on the roof of the building watching people go by, there were a number of different objects next to you that had been drained of their colour, Dabi didn’t think that it was sunny enough to warrant the hat that you had decided to wear “thought vampires couldn’t sit in the sun.” He finally said, you glanced back at him, eyes moving over him for a second before going back to the people milling around under you. “Vampires can sit in the sun as long as we’re protected from direct sunlight.” You answered. “You’ve been watching me, what do you want?” “You knew?” He asked. “Thought you were sneaky?” You asked. “There’s a lot that you don’t know about me.” “Yeah?” He asked, he stepped forward and you leaned back resting on your hands. “I wouldn’t get too close, you know that guitar isn’t just a fashion statement.” You warned him. “I know.” He nodded “I’ve seen you use it, impressive.” He continued forward until he was sitting on the ledge next to you. “What do you want?” You asked. “You seem bored.” He mumbled. “I’m bored of you dodging the question, what do you want?” You asked. “I want to offer you a prospect.” He answered. “Uh huh.” You grunted. “I want to take down someone and you could help me.” He answered. “Who?” You asked. “What?” He asked. “Who do you want to take down?” You asked. “Endeavour.” He answered. “Now that is a challenge.” You smirked, your fangs flashing in the sun. “You’d better tell me how you plan to do this and I’ll decide whether I join you.”

🦎 Spinner was very good at withholding judgement until he'd met someone or seen someone in action which is why he never judged you for your supposed vampire attributes. 🦎 He honestly thinks the guitar is pretty cool, an instrument that doubles as weapons, and always loves when people question whether it’s a real weapon or not. 🦎 On that note Spinner never gets tired of you singing, whether you're just singing to yourself or singing for the rest of the gang (Magni and Toga are often the ones that make requests). 🦎 Your ability to go from a warm presence to a threatening entity, was honestly amazing to him.

Spinner had lost track of you a while back, you had been split up during the ambush by Redestros men, he had seen evidence of you being around considering there were objects that were primary red that had lost their colour, if you were drinking during battle you were having you use your abilities in excessive amounts. Spinner should have been paying more attention when the hulking weight smashed into his side, he recognised the grunts, it was you in your larger bat form. “You need a hand?” He asked. “I mean if you're not too busy.” You shrugged as he looked behind you at the group that had followed the larger man, he noted that you were changing back to your humanoid form and bass guitar thrown over your shoulder. “Are you hungry, do you need anything?” He asked. “No there was enough around here to get what I needed now, I just really want these guys to go away.” You answered, swinging the axe end of the base cutting the closest man’s head clean off. “Wow.” He mumbled eyes widening and cheeks heating, if his skin wasn’t green you would have seen a blush. “You okay?” You asked a smirk taking over your face as you dodged a hit from one of others, Spinner napped out of it throwing a dagger landing it straight in his heart. “I’m fine.” He mumbled as you giggled, killing yet another one of them before moving over to him and pressing a kiss to his cheek. “Come on let’s finish this, find the boss and get this over with so we can get back to doing nothing.” You ordered. “Sure thing.” He chuckled, cutting down another attacker.

Okay, maybe I got a bit carried away with this one.

But what could I say? It’s not every day you can beat a supervillain senseless.

I stared down at Siren from an elevated rooftop. With a cocky grin, I plucked gently at some tunes on my bass, taunting him with my upbeat melody. He got up from his ruined state, scoffing at my victory lap around the edge.

“Aw, what’s the matter?” I mocked, exaggerating the tilt of my head as my torso nearly bent. “You look so cute when you’re flustered, sweetheart! I guess somebody forgot to do his vocal training today.” I giggled. He only smirked in response, letting his coat flutter with the soft wind that was picking up.

“Yeah, yeah,” He brushed off. “But I’m still standing. Give me some credit here, Strings.” He shrugged. I rolled my eyes before holding my guitar in position. The moon played as our light above us. The street lights below barely illuminated the villain’s strong jaw and curly locks. My hair swayed with the midnight breeze as the moon’s reflection highlighted my axe bass hybrid. I took a deep inhale, a near-enamored sigh escaping my nostrils.

“Fine, I’ll give you another chance, but only because you’re cute!” I chimed. With my thumb, I strummed hard at the steel strings, aiming to knock Siren down again with my sound waves. But instead, Siren dodged out of impact, making a B-Line straight toward me. I quickly hopped off the ledge and onto another building. Siren was behind me, hot on my trail. Quickly, I ran as fast as I could before strumming down, boosting me off of the ground and into the air, leaving Siren breathless. I couldn’t help but let out a light chuckle.

“I know you’re obsessed with me, but come on now!” I called out. I gently strummed to glide my way through the winds. Siren searched around the building, retrieving a spare, lengthy rope. He fiddled with the material for a few seconds before forming a lasso and hooking me on. A sharp squeak escaped my throat as I was immediately pulled down. I clutched on my bass, bracing for impact, but instead, I landed straight into Siren’s arms.

Immediately, I smiled and stretched my limbs out. “Ahh, sorry babe, you can only hold me like this after our wedding.” I ruffled his hair and hopped out of his grasp, sliding against the concrete floor.

Siren clicked his tongue before rolling his head in a circle, cracking his neck while facing me. “You talk a lot of shit for someone who doesn't fight melee.” He commented. I hummed a bit, noticing the slight irritation in his voice. I gripped my bass by the neck, taking off the strap, and pointed the blade of the axe towards him.

“You sure you wanna fight melee? Don’t want to chop your head off.” I giggled.

“Drop your weapon and don’t pick it back up.” His voice rang in my ears in such an angelic way that if I had a choice, I’d probably drop my weapon anyway. My bass axe clattered against the ground, leaving me with my bare hands. I looked at him with puffed-up cheeks, annoyed by his superpower. In turn, he shined his cheeky grin at me.

“No fair!” I cried.

“Oh, it is very much fair.” Without a gap between his words, Siren lunged at me, forcing me to put my arms up in self-defense. I pushed him back by kicking him in the stomach. I aimed to punch his face with one first after another, but skillfully he ducked down and dodged both hits. He ran past me, gripping both of my wrists tight. I winced in pain, struggling for my freedom. With enough tugging, I was able to free my dominant hand, elbowing him in the stomach to loosen his grip on my other arm. I escaped his grasp, turning around so that I could face him.

“Y’know,” I huffed, swinging my leg to kick him in the face, only for him to narrowly avoid my attack with a crouch. He continued to aim punches at me as I struggled to move past his fists. “We could make a cute band together!” We tangoed under the stars as our legs guided us to safety. “Me, the cool bassist that steals your heart, and you, the singer, who would write countless romantic songs for me—!” Before I could continue on my words, Siren made a clean sweep with leg, nearly tripping me over. In one swift second, as I was about to hit the ground, Siren picked up my bass and hooked the two of us inside the strap. My back rested on the instrument as he held it behind me.

The supervillain towered over me in close proximity. I stared up at him, not sure if I could formulate the words to comment on our position. Slowly, he leaned his lips into my ear.

“Then how about we go back to my place and make some sweet, sweet music, hm?” He whispered. "Maybe I could get some lovely tunes out of you.."

Holy shit.

Holy fucking shit.

Words refused to register in my brain. “I— Ah— mm—!” Suddenly I was a stuttering mess. The heat rising to my cheeks was nearly unbearable. Siren retreated from my ear and looked down at me a bewildered expression forming on his face. This may be the one time I regret choosing a masquerade mask to protect my identity. If my bashfulness wasn’t apparent enough in my voice, he could certainly see it from my glowing red cheeks!

“Strings, are you..—?”

“S-Shut up!” I interrupted him from continuing his sentence. I slipped out of our position, letting the cool air slap in my face as I turned my back on the blindfolded man. Never has Siren ever attempted to flirt with me back. My heart was racing out of my chest and my knees felt so weak. I wanted to run and squeal around this rooftop, but instead, I maintained my composure to the best of my ability.

As if to toy with me, Siren approached me, pressing his chest against my head. He lifted my bass over me, letting the strap fall onto my shoulder. “Carry your instrument.” He commanded. My arms flew up, immediately grabbing it by the neck and hip. I was too paralyzed and flustered to move and make any sort of remark. This made Siren hum curiously.

“I’ve never heard you this quiet.” He said, almost shocked. It took all my might to not turn around and bang this man in the head. Instead, I remained composed to the best of my ability. He began walking around me, now standing in front. With his hands behind his back, he leaned down with his face nearly inches away from mine. “Let’s call this a tie, I suppose.” His smile was wide and prideful, and rather than being annoyed, I felt my heart melt at such a sight.

“I-It’s whatever…” I mumbled, too shy to even look at him through my mask. Siren chuckled, tapping the tip of my nose with his index finger.

“I’ll be seeing you around then, my bassist.” With that, he waved me goodbye as he walked off, disappearing into the night. My heart pounded my ears, not even working up the courage to move my wobbly legs. I swallowed hard, feeling the lump in my throat go down. My eyes trailed down to my bass as my cheeks still tingled at the thought of him.

Fuck..

Q: “Peter, starting with Headquarters in 1967, it seems you were one of the first guys to actually make the banjo a significant element of pop-rock songs.” Peter Tork: “I wasn’t even thinking about doing that. I just thought, ‘The banjo would sound good here.’ If I’m fond of my own work at all, it’s the opening lick to ‘You Told Me’ from Headquarters. The guitar starts off [mimics guitar] and then the banjo cuts in [mimics banjo] and suddenly, you’re in a whole new realm. To me, building those kinds of textures is what music is all about, and there are a couple of places where the banjo contributed nicely to the Monkees’ basic rock. It seems I’m a rocker who happens to play banjo, or a banjo player who happens to rock. here’s a band I came up with in my head while listening to a song. They’re completely fictional btw. They’re inspired by The Move and The Beatles.

The Inserts (formed in 1965 in Birmingham, England)

Members:

Johnny Everglades (b. July 15, 1945) - Leader of the band and lead vocals. He doesn’t play anything. Went to primary and secondary school with Carter Greensfield and formed a couple of bands with him while they were still in school. He has brown hair.

Carter Greensfield (b. August 4, 1945) - guitar. He has brown hair as well.

Gevy Levy (b. November 25, 1944) - drums. His name is often misspelled in the newspapers. He got used to it. He has mousey hair

Troy McSorrow (b. March 14, 1946) - Bass. He has blonde hair

Roger Clearing (b. December 30, 1947) - Guitar. Youngest and newest member of the band. He has light brown and curly hair and puffy hair, although his curls don’t really show since his hair is so short. He’ll probably grow it out in either 1968 or 1969

in the music video for this song, I imagine Johnny Everglades to wear leather gloves and black eyeliner. And I imagine Carter Greensfield to wear red-tinted circular glasses. 

they’re all wearing colored suits with the same hairstyles. Same as this photo of the move:

towards the end of the music video, Johnny starts destroying the equipment with an axe and Troy sets the equipment on fire. Then they take a bow and leave.

The video takes place in August, 1967.

Interesting thing about Fig Feath and her Basses (and other magical items)

Fig hasn't ever really been able to use her magical items because their use in combat is fairly limited

With her most used being the Skateboard of Sickness letting the user dash as a bonus action she has used this the most by a long shot because it is always useful to have extra movement

The Bass of Nights End while we don't know everything about it we do know that it does extra when an ally is injured similar to Payment Day from ACOC (although that was self) so Fig has been able to use this ability several times because it is an ability that has a common trigger

The Infeathable Bass I believe has only ever been used once for it's ability to add elemental damage to an attack and the Crit mechanic with the only use being the rarely used Reckless Shred giving you disadvantage to impose disadvantage to the opponent and the +5 performance which is a very passive ability

The Ruby Red Guitar Pick I don't believe it was ever used or if it was it was somewhere in season one that I can't think of. It lets the user cast Burning hands, Charm Person, or Protection from Fire which aren't really useful spells past a low level

These aren't bad items just some of them have very specific triggers or aren't really practical for the user to activate. The Infeathable Bass has a lot of cool abilities but most of them have triggers that aren't really easy to activate or put you at a major disadvantage like Reckless Shred at higher levels failed saves have harsher consequences

Something like Gorgug's Heavy Metal Axe really only has 1 ability being that it crits on a 19-20 with the added benefit of Zelda's Playlist knocking someone prone on a crit. Most of the Heavy Metal Axe are about damaging structures which has come up three times in total being the Nightmare Forest, The Ritual Fight, and a car window we forget that the axe is kind of specialized and would be practically uses with out the Crit rate increase (this is also why people think the axe knocks prone)
