Dear Sullys (including Spider),
I miss you guys. I miss Neteyam and bumping each other's shoulders while laughing to ourselves. I miss little Tuk and teaching her how to make jewelry. I tried so hard to be a good older brother for her. I miss Spider and our talks; about being orphans, about the feeling of not belonging among the Sullys. I miss making fun of Lo'ak for being younger than me even though it was only by a year. I miss appreciating Eywa with Kiri. Taking naps in the forest, having any and every excuse to go out.
To Jake, and Neytiri... I remember that Neytiri found me in the woods when I was young (though I'm not sure how young), but aside from that... I don't remember you guys yet. And I feel horrible because I feel like I should. I have the instinct to call you Mom and Dad/Sir, but... that's it.
I remember I bonded with a Palulukan, Mong (meaning relied on/trusted for protection), just like you did Mom. I can't remember when/why but. It was nice. It's gentle, and kind. It just has to rely on intimidation and brutality to survive. I remember when he found a mate and had children. It made me so happy. I wonder if I ended up mated to someone...
I also remember living with the Metkayina people. I didn't mind much, though I missed home severely and spent a lot of time in the nearby forestry at the beginning. I'd even sleep there, but it wasn't the same. The water was nice, though. I've always loved swimming, and the creatures there were beautiful. I'd ride my Ilu whenever I missed Mong, but it wasn't the same.
I... I miss you guys. I miss hearing Mom sing our song chords and I miss my siblings and I miss Dad, even if you were hard on us. It was challenging, at times, but I always forgave you. I still do. You did your best with what you knew.
I wish we were back home, I wish we were together again. We're supposed to stick together.
We lost Neteyam and then I lost everyone.

Hii, I’m both Lo’ak Sully and Spider/Miles Socorro from Avatar: The Way of Water. I know I am not considered problematic as Lo’ak but many people think of me, as Spider, problematic, so here I am, hope that’s okay. I am 22 and I don’t really mind age when it comes to sourcemates but I understand if it makes anyone uncomfortable ofc! Anyway I’m looking for anyone that would like to talk to me. Doubles are welcome too

Thinking about how underrated the Foggy Swamp Tribe was in Avatar.
In the show they’re mostly played for laughs. They don’t wear pants, they have thick accents, they don’t seem to know much about the Northern and Southern Water Tribes. But they're a lot wiser than they're given credit for. Not to mention they're big dang heroes.
The Banyan-grove tree
Philosophically, the swamp is fascinating. Their home is centered around a banyan-grove tree, a cross between a mangrove and a banyan—two trees symbolizing life and death.
Mangrove trees are the nurseries of the ocean. Sea life migrates to mangrove forests to lay eggs in the protection of their murky root systems. Bato may look down on the swamp people and make a snide comment about them not wearing pants, but the swamp people are the stewards of ocean life.
Banyan trees are trees of death. The banyan is a parasitic plant that grows by latching onto another host plant, eventually choking the host to death. Banyan figs are also pollinated through death. Wasps crawl into the immature fig, lay their eggs, and die inside it.
So this tree needs death in order to live. And it can’t provide shelter and food for animals without the death of other animals. You can see how this cycle of life and death is reflected in their worldview—which is completely ride or die.
Everything is connected.
The first thing they do once the gaang stops attacking them is call them kin. They bring them home and treat them like family. And I think the swamp people really do see them that way.
They could have comfortably sat out the war. They didn’t. The war might not have affected them personally, but they still felt responsibility to help.
Death is an illusion.
They’re not even scared on the Day of Black Sun. They don’t seem afraid of death at all. They keep cat-gators as pets! For fun! Katara and Sokka are distraught by the visions of dead loved ones they see in the swamp gas. The swamp people live in the swamp gas all the time. Death is all around and they do. not. care. In fact, they embrace it, treat it like a normal, necessary part of life.
Sometimes I wonder what happened to the swamp people after the Day of Black Sun. They surrendered along with the other adults, buying the children time to flee. The swamp people have their own section in the crowd at Zuko’s coronation, so presumably they were released. But released from where? Were they locked in a prison for water benders like the horrific one Hama was imprisoned in? What happened to them in Legend of Korra when Kuvira harvested the banyan-grove’s vines? Where was their kin when they needed help?
#P.S. Fun Fact: Tho is the only person outside the gaang who correctly identifies Momo’s species (lemur)#Everyone else calls Momo a monkey#Tho calls Momo a leemoo#...which is played for comedy because of his accent#foggy swamp tribe#atla#avatar the last airbender

Spring Has Sprung
Neteyam Sully x Avatar!Reader
Summary: Neteyam invites you to visit a naturally occurring water spring that he spotted while on patrol. Things of course get heated.
Word Count: 2.0k
TW: Smut.
<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3
You were watching Neteyam cutting wood and stacking them into neat piles. Sitting on a tree nearby, feeling a bit like you were invading his privacy. The sun was shining down onto him through the thick branches of the trees. He was breathing hard and seemed to be aggressively doing his work. Like he was taking his anger out on the wood. He threw his ax down next to his last pile, resting his hands on his hips and letting his head tilt back. Once he was looking up, he saw you sitting on the tree above him. Smirking, he starts to climb up to accompany you.
“You could have come down and said hi,” he said, still breathing hard.
“Didn’t want to interrupt your focus, seemed like you were working really hard,” you said, picking a small twig out of one of his braids.
“Do you have any plans tonight?” he asks.
He made you so nervous, he wasn’t the type of person who said things half heartedly. Always making eye contact and speaking very confidently. Such a strong presence that at times you felt the need to avert your gaze. The two of you grew up together and are still really close. That being said, you noticed in the past couple months things were shifting. Your feelings were starting to develop romantically, which scared you. In fear that the bond you’d made as children would be soured by hormones or impulse. You couldn’t speak for him but there were times when you thought he felt the same way. Being more touchy or having conversations that weren’t exactly platonic. He set his hand on your knee, bringing you back to reality.
“No, why?” you asked.
“I found a really deep pool of water when I was on patrol and wanted to show you, if you’re open to that,” he suggested, so you agreed and then parted ways.
For the rest of the day all you could think about was nightfall. Excited to see what this adventure would bring. Helping your mom start the fire and make dinner felt like it took a eon. You are the oldest of 4 younger siblings so during supper you tried helping as much as you could. That was a big reason you and Neteyam got along so well. The stress of being semi responsible for all your kins mistakes made it easy to find common ground. You were so nervous that you didn’t have much of an appetite. After helping clean up and excusing yourself to go to The Hallelujah Mountains. It made you feel a little better knowing that wasn’t entirely a lie. You were meeting him at the tree, you just wouldn’t be staying there. Neteyam was already there with his Ikran, kicking around pebbles that were on the edges.. He immediately noticed you coming down and greeted your Ikran, petting her head. He explained that it wasn’t too long of a fly from here, as you went to remount your Ikran he pulled you up onto his. Wrapping your arms around his waist as he flew, holding on tighter whenever a sharp turn was made. You rested your cheek against his back and enjoyed the scenery. You weren’t out flying at night often so seeing the night sky and wildlife was truly amazing. As promised, it didn’t take long until you were landing.
You were really impressed by what you saw. It was a natural clear water spring. The water was sparkling and was so blue it looked pigmented. Tsawksyul and Melon Trees surrounded it, keeping it relatively hidden. As you admired, Neteyam raced past you. Jumping into the pool of water, not only splashing you but showcasing how deep the water ran. You took off anything you didn't want to get wet and followed suit. The water was cold but not bone chilling.
“Amazing right?” he asked, swimming towards the edge. Resting his arms on the outside of the pool.
“More than amazing,” you say, swimming over towards him. That was when you noticed all the bruises and cuts littered across his arms and chest.
“What happened,” you asked, pointing out all the injuries.
“Depends on what you’re talking about,” he says, letting his head drop back now resting against the outside edge of the pool. You were treading water right in front of him, running your finger along the healing gash on his bicep.
“This one?” you asked and without opening his eyes, he began to explain what happened.
“I was on patrol when an explosion happened, it spooked my Ikran and I went falling. Luckily a tree broke my fall but it also did some damage,” he explained.
“And here?” you asked, running your finger over his jaw where a clean scar was.
“My dad told my brother how he used to grow hair on his face. You know when he lived on the star he was born. Lo’ak and I were trying to imitate how he shaved with his hunting knife. I got nicked pretty bad,” he chuckled, feeling slightly embarrassed about the memory.
“Is it weird? Knowing your dad came from the Sky People?” you asked, now holding on to his shoulders. That way you could just float next to him in the water.
“Sometimes. Especially because we’re fighting an entire war against them,” he sighed.
You sat in comfortable silence for a while, not even noticing how close you’d drifted together. Bodies pressed against one another, you were taking in all the little details you’d never noticed before. Like how promodent his cupid's bow was and how muscular his arms really were. He looked so relaxed, almost like he was sleeping. Chest steadily rising and falling against yours. You laid your head on his shoulder and in kind, he rested his cheek against the top of your head. The sky was super clear and the stars were sparking so beautifully. There was hardly any wind, which allowed the two of you to stay in the water without being cold. You were dealing with a lot of inner turmoil. Wanting to ask if he had any love for you with all you had. However the fear of rejection was almost paralyzing. You admired so much about him, his intelligence, hunting skills and of course his looks. It made you feel insecure, like he looked past you when it came to things like romance. Using your arms to hoist yourself out of the pool. Grabbing your knife, you cut a melon off the tree. You heard Neteyam come out of the water and approach you from behind.
“What’s wrong?” he asks.
“I have a lot on my mind,” you say, sitting on the edge of the spring. Letting your feet soak in the water, him doing the same.
“Tell me,” he says, playfully leaning over and bumping his shoulder into yours.
“I really like how close we’re getting,” you say, avoiding eye contact. He leaned his head down in front of you. Playfully making the point that he wanted you to look at him.
“Good, me too,” he smiled.
“Is that all you feel? Are you happy being close or do you feel like we could be closer?” you ask, regretting the words even before they rolled off your tongue. He jokingly closes the gap of space between the two of you. As relieving as it felt not to be rejected right away, the suspense of an answer was drowning you,
“Neteyam..” you whine, taking a big bite of the melon. He waited until you were done chewing to grab your chin, making you look at him.
“You have juice all over you,” he laughed, dipping his hand into the water and wiping your mouth and neck. Both laughing, you wrap your hands around his wrist as he continues washing the stickiness from the melon off.
Eventually the laughs died down and instead of his entire hand brushing over your face, only this thumb was tracing your lip.
“Is this close enough?” he asks gently, leaning and catching you into a kiss.
He holds your face with his hands, weaving your lips together. When the two of you went to face each other, your bodies fell back into the water. This didn’t stop the encounter, only deepened it. The front of both your bodies were pressed together. Your hands were playing with his hair. He was running his hands up and down your body slowly, like he was trying to memorize every curve. Pressing yourself against his bulge caused a low moan to vibrate off his lips. You take the beaded top you were wearing off. As you do so, he lifts you slightly so your chest is just barely out of the water. He stared at you for a moment, admiring your beauty before turning his attention back down. He takes one of your nipples into his mouth, sucking and flicking his tongue. He was switching back and forth, like he couldn’t decide which one he liked more. Becoming rougher, testing the limits of your body.
You dip your head back, hair becoming soaked in water. The adrenaline pumping through your veins made you feel unreal. Like an out of body experience, not able to process what was happening. As much as you thought about how this would go, you never thought it would be like this. So passionate and beautiful. You started making out until your lips were swollen and tender. He pulls away and climbs out of the spring. Reaching for your hands, he pulls out shamelessly watching as the water runs off your body. He lays down in the soft thick grass growing near the spring. Pulling his shorts down and exposing himself. You straddle his lap, rubbing yourself against his shaft. The two of you are moaning from the friction. He pulls you down so that your lips are hovering over each other; every once in a while catching each other in a sloppy kiss. He lines himself up with your entrance, staying still and allowing you to sink down at your own pace.
For a while you stayed still, adjusting to the size of his length. In between kissing, you liked looking down and seeing the pleasure written all over his face. Once the sting from his size went away, you slowly started rocking your hips. You impulsively pull your braid over your shoulder. At first you thought Neteyam might be hesitant to tsaheylu but he did the same with his. After connecting, you watched his eyes dilate at an alarming speed. It was such an intense rush, being able to feel exactly what he was feeling without communicating at all. Like the breath was completely taken out of your body and replaced. Like the two of you were existing as one being and the feeling was intoxicating. He sat up, resting his back against one of the melon trees. Rocking your hips back and forth while making intense eye contact. His mouth was hanging open and eyebrows furrowed. His hands were covered in calluses so when he ran his hands up your things it would scratch you a bit.
You could tell he was getting close from how vocal he was becoming. Both of you were covered in sweat and breathing heavily. He wraps his arm around your waist, switching the position. Even though he was now in more control, he still was gentle while maintaining his strength. The amount of love you felt coming off him was overwhelming, enough to bring tears to your eyes. Wondering how a moment you were so worried would be careless could be so full of passion and comfort. Both of you were close, pressing his forehead against yours as the two of you came. Both of you were bucking your hips at your own erratic paces, riding out the high. Moaning and whining as the overwhelming pleasure flooded your bodies. Feeling completely exhausted he pulls out and lays down on the grass next to you. Pulling you into his arms before the two of you fell asleep.

being her one true friend hcs ; azula
requested by ; batstickblog (16/06/22)
fandom(s) ; avatar: the last airbender
fandom masterlist(s) ; here
character(s) ; azula
outline ; “Azula x fem!reader (taking place event’s of Book One: Water) Shy daughter one of Imperial Firebenders. Visiting the palace, when she met the princess of the Fire Nation. Quickly closed friend’s and Azula truly care about the girl more than her two friends and brother before she leaves. Stories mixed between Fluffy and Fix-it fic.”
warning(s) ; canon typical levels of angst but mostly fluff
the two of you had first met when you were children — with your father having dragged you along to a war meeting with his fellow aristocrats in order to gain some sort of leverage with the ailing fire lord
he’d been beaming and filled to the bursting with the pride and aggression your kin were known for as he discussed strategy and hostile takeover — but you were just bored and looking for any opportunity to escape the clutches of thinly veiled mathematics and other boring grown up stuff
so you came up with an excuse of feeling sick and needing air, slipping away and running to the courtyard like your heels were on fire
and that was where you met your best friend
princess azula; the young daughter of the fire lord’s younger son — renowned overachiever and star student who earned nothing but praise from her tutors and family members
princess azula who was training right in front of you — blue flames pillaring up from her fingertips as she danced across the large flat stone she’d haphazardly thrown onto a shaded area in the far corner of the courtyard
you’d watched her for a while before she realised she had company and with the confidence only found in children, she invited you to spar with her
and, as the saying goes, the rest was history
as the years passed by, the two of you stuck by each other through it all — through her grandfather’s death, through her father’s coronation, through her mother’s disappearance and through her brother’s banishment
arm in arm and side by side through thick and thin — there was nothing that could separate you from each other
you trained together, you learned together, you lounged together, you mocked together and you grew up together — truly two peas in a pod
you were there cheering her on from the sidelines as she mastered her bending and were the one to push her to pursue lightning bending — there to help her work through her issues with her parents until she reached something close to contentment and acceptance
she was there ready to sponsor and help you reach your goals — funding your hobbies and bolstering your studies by giving you full access to the palace library on the condition that you spend more time with you — but also ready to scold your parents if ever they try and force you any which way (a princess outranks any aristocrat, after all)
and whilst she’d never be caught dead admitting how deeply she cares for you, it’s clear to see through how kindly she treats you compared to anyone else — soft eyes, gentle words, pushing you more when you think of giving up and threatening anyone who even thinks of hurting you
how she only ever sleeps soundly when she’s pressed against you: leaning against your side or lounging across your lap as she promises she’s just resting her eyes
how you’d always catch her smiling softly out of the corner of your eye whenever you’d start passionately ranting about your latest interest
how she balked and paled and started spitting out excuses when you overheard your father proposing that your family move into one of the earth kingdom cities that the army had just captured — far away from her and everything you’d ever known
a greater reaction than when her oldest friends left the capital — mai for the same reasons your family had considered and ty lee for the circus — and when her own brother was burned and banished
she feared — truly feared — losing you and it showed
but, thank the spirits, that day never came and your parents decided to stay in the city and you didn’t have to leave azula behind — honestly you could have cried
the week following that she barely left your side, finding every excuse she could to be around you — training, studying, practising her royal duties and on and on…
(not that you minded, of course, but you certainly got in your fair share of teasing remarks anyway)
and for a short while everything was back to normal — or as close as it could be with the fire nation being so close to winning the war
… until azula was assigned on a mission to retrieve her brother and uncle
…
that was a difficult conversation for the two of you to have: tearful, emotional, genuine and above all else hard
hard to be hugging not knowing how long you’d be apart (she couldn’t know exactly where zuko was after all)
hard for her to insist on you staying behind (not because you couldn’t hold your own but because she didn’t want to run the risk of you getting hurt under her watch — it would kill her to see you hurt)
hard for you to wave her off whilst keeping an encouraging smile on your face (because if you wavered then so would she — and you didn’t want her to give up this opportunity to further prove herself to her father)
hard for her to promise to fetch her dear brother and uncle back home safely before the comet hits (because, no matter how hard she tried, there was still a part of her that dreaded zuko stealing the love of their father and their people as he had their mother)
just hard in general, really
but somehow you managed, giving a hug and a cheek kiss goodbye before she hurried onto that boat — azula filled with determination as you waved her off
she would bring them home
she would do her part to help ensure the victory of the fire nation
she would come home safely to you
because, really, what other choice did she have?
she’d sworn it you she would and she’d never once broken a promise she’d made — not to you, not ever
so failure simply wasn’t an option

➘ summary : neyetam never wanted to leave his home in the forest and he’s been making sure to show that through his actions luckily a female from the metkayina clan is there to show him that being apart of the reef isn’t all bad
➘ neyetam x reader, avatar way of water x reader
The lush forest of Pandora had long been the home of the Na'vi people, a place of harmony and connection with the land. Among them, Jake Sully had found not only a new body but a new purpose—a life that was intertwined with the rhythms of the ecosystem and the bonds of his newfound family.
However, the tranquility of their existence was shattered when news reached the clan of the Sky People's return. The humans, driven by their insatiable greed and disregard for the natural world, had once again set their sights on Pandora. The atrocities they had committed in the past were etched into the Na'vi's memory, and the threat they posed was undeniable.
Jake Sully stood before the assembled clan, the gravity of the situation weighing heavily on his shoulders. Beside him stood Neytiri, his love and partner, her (e/c) eyes reflecting the same mixture of concern and determination that he felt.
"Sky People come," Mo'at, the spiritual leader of the clan, spoke with a heavy heart. "They bring death and destruction."
The murmurs of the clan echoed through the clearing, a collective acknowledgment of the danger they faced. Jake's adoptive family, the Na'vi people who had become his kin, needed a solution—a way to protect their way of life and preserve the sanctity of the land they held dear.
"We have two choices," Jake's voice carried a solemn note as he addressed the clan. "We can stay and fight, defending our land with everything we have. Or we can leave, protect the memories and knowledge that we've gathered, and find a new place to call home."
Neytiri stepped forward, her gaze unwavering as she spoke. "Whatever path we choose, we do it together. Our bond is unbreakable, and we will face this challenge as one."
The clan members exchanged glances, the weight of their decision heavy in the air. They had built a life on Pandora, one that was founded on principles of respect and harmony with the land. Leaving was not an easy choice, but the threat of the Sky People loomed large.
As the clan deliberated, Jake's thoughts drifted to the forest that had become his sanctuary, the connection he shared with the creatures that inhabited it, and the love that had blossomed between him and Neytiri. The thought of leaving pained him, but he knew that the survival of his people was paramount.
Eventually, the decision was made. The clan would embark on an exodus, leaving behind their ancestral lands in search of a new haven where they could rebuild their lives. It was a bitter pill to swallow, a heartbreaking farewell to a place that had shaped their identity.
As the clan began their preparations, Jake and Neytiri shared a quiet moment among the trees. His fingers gently brushed against hers, his touch a reassurance of their unwavering commitment to each other.
"We will find a new home," Neytiri's voice held a mixture of determination and sadness. "And we will keep our traditions alive."
Jake nodded, his gaze meeting hers with a mixture of conviction and love. "We'll honor what we've learned and carry it with us. No matter where we go, our connection to Pandora will remain."
With those words, Jake and Neytiri set out on a new journey—a journey that would test their strength, resilience, and love. As the Na'vi people faced an uncertain future, they carried with them the hope that their bond with the land and each other would guide them through the challenges that lay ahead.
As Jake Sully, Neytiri, and their family arrived at the Metkayina clan seeking refuge, they were met with a mix of curiosity and scrutiny. The Metkayina clan members regarded them with an air of caution, their expressions wary yet intrigued by the newcomers.
Among the clan, Ronal, a fiercely determined and outspoken woman, approached with a confident stride. She held a prominent position within the clan, and her opinions carried weight. Her eyes narrowed as she looked over the new arrivals, her gaze lingering on their distinctive features.
"You seek sanctuary among us," Ronal's voice was laced with skepticism as she addressed Jake and his family. "But your tails are short, and your arms—too thin. Have you come to prove yourselves?"
Neytiri's posture remained composed, her (e/c) eyes steady as she addressed Ronal. "We seek not only refuge but also unity. Our connection to Pandora runs deep, and we come as kin, seeking a place where we can contribute to the harmony of the land."
Ronal's gaze sharpened, her scrutiny unyielding. Her attention then shifted to Kiri, Neytiri and Jake's child, who had five fingers instead of the usual four.
"And what of the one with five fingers?" Ronal's tone was accusatory. "Is this some Sky People experiment? A mixing of blood?"
Jake's jaw tightened, his resolve unwavering. "Kiri is our daughter, a product of love and the bond between our people."
Ronal's skepticism persisted, her eyes narrowing as she scrutinized the child. "Five fingers are not Na'vi. They are unnatural—a sign of Sky Demon blood."
Neytiri's voice held a note of authority as she responded. "Our connection to the land, our beliefs, and our love for Pandora are true and unwavering. Our children are a part of this world, just as we are."
As the tension between the two sides hung heavy in the air, Neytiri's words seemed to resonate with some of the clan members, who exchanged glances filled with understanding. The Metkayina clan was known for their connection with the sea and the underwater world, but their appreciation for unity and the sanctity of Pandora ran deep.
Ronal's skepticism remained, but a hint of consideration softened her gaze. "Prove your commitment. If you wish to stay among us, you will need to adapt, to show that your bond with the land is genuine."
Jake met Ronal's gaze with determination. "We will do what it takes to show our commitment and earn our place."
With that, Jake, Neytiri, and their family began their journey of integration within the Metkayina clan. As they faced challenges and sought to prove their connection to Pandora, they discovered that unity could transcend differences, and that the strength of their bond as a family and with the land would guide them through the trials that lay ahead.
Weeks had passed since Jake, Neytiri, and their family had integrated themselves into the Metkayina clan. While Neyetam's siblings seemed to be adjusting and finding their place among the clan members, Neyetam himself continued to feel adrift. The forest had always been his home, his sanctuary, and the vast oceans of the Metkayina clan were a world he struggled to comprehend.
One day, as the weight of his uncertainty weighed heavily on him, Neyetam made his way to the beach. The sound of the crashing waves and the endless expanse of water stretched out before him, leaving him feeling small and out of place. With each passing day, the unfamiliarity of his surroundings seemed to grow, and he longed for the comfort of the forest.
As he walked along the shoreline, the soothing rhythm of the waves washing over the sand, a movement caught his eye. Out in the water, a figure moved with grace and agility. Neyetam's gaze focused on the form of a female Na'vi, her light blue skin glinting in the sunlight as she swam effortlessly.
He watched her, a mixture of curiosity and admiration filling his thoughts. The way she moved through the water was a testament to her connection with the ocean—a connection he had yet to fully understand. As he observed her, a feeling of longing and isolation settled over him.
In a moment of boldness, Neyetam found himself walking toward the water's edge, his gaze never leaving the female Na'vi's form. Her movements were entrancing, a dance with the waves that seemed to convey a profound sense of harmony.
As he reached the water's edge, he hesitated, unsure of how to approach her. Just as he was about to turn away, the female Na'vi's gaze met his, her (e/c) eyes locking onto his own. There was a brief pause, as if time itself stood still, before she gracefully swam back to the shore.
Her approach left Neyetam feeling both intrigued and uncertain. When she finally emerged from the water, her hair glistening with droplets, her eyes held a mixture of curiosity and warmth. "You're Neyetam, correct?"
Neyetam nodded, taken aback by her directness. "Yes, that's me."
Her lips curved into a friendly smile. "I'm (Y/N), from the Metkayina clan. I noticed you watching me. Enjoying the view?"
Neyetam felt a flush of embarrassment but managed a shy smile in return. "I didn't mean to intrude. I was just... seeking some clarity."
(Y/N)'s gaze held understanding. "The ocean has a way of offering solace and clarity. It's where we find our balance, our connection to the land and the sea."
Neyetam's gaze shifted to the water, his thoughts reflecting on her words. "I've always been more comfortable in the forest. This change has been... challenging for me."
(Y/N)'s eyes held empathy. "Change can be difficult, especially when it challenges what we've known. But just as you find your place among the trees, you can find your place here by the sea."
He met her gaze, her sincerity resonating with him. As the waves continued to lap against the shore, Neyetam felt a sense of reassurance—a reminder that adaptability was a part of life, and that growth came from embracing new experiences.
"Thank you, (Y/N)," he said sincerely. "Your words mean a lot."
She offered him a reassuring smile, her eyes filled with camaraderie. "Remember, we are all connected to Pandora in our own way. And the journey is about finding where we belong."
As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the beach, Neyetam and (Y/N) continued to talk. The encounter served as a reminder that challenges could be overcome, and that unity could be found even in the most unexpected of places. As Neyetam walked away from the shore that day, he felt a glimmer of hope—a hope that he could find his own sense of belonging and balance, just as the waves found their rhythm against the sand.
Despite his best efforts, Neyetam continued to struggle with the transition to life among the Metkayina clan. The vast expanse of the ocean and the unfamiliar customs left him feeling out of place, and his longing for the forest only grew stronger. However, there was a constant presence that provided him with solace—(Y/N).
With her kind words and understanding, (Y/N) became a beacon of support for Neyetam. She seemed to intuitively sense when he was feeling overwhelmed, and her encouragement served as a guiding light during his moments of doubt.
One day, as Neyetam stood by the shore, (Y/N) approached him, her footsteps leaving faint imprints in the sand. Her (e/c) eyes held a warmth that instantly put him at ease.
"You're not alone in this, Neyetam," she said softly, her voice carrying a note of reassurance. "Change takes time, and adjusting to new surroundings can be challenging."
Neyetam's gaze met hers, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for her presence. "I appreciate your understanding, (Y/N). It's just... everything feels so different."
(Y/N) nodded, her gaze turning to the waves. "Different doesn't mean impossible. Remember, we all have our strengths and weaknesses. It's what makes us unique."
Her words struck a chord within Neyetam. He watched as the waves ebbed and flowed, their rhythm a testament to the balance that could be achieved even in the face of change.
"I've always felt a connection to the forest," Neyetam admitted, his voice carrying a hint of vulnerability. "The trees, the creatures—it's where I felt most at home."
(Y/N) smiled, a reassuring glint in her eyes. "And that connection is a part of you. Just as the ocean is a part of us. You're not losing your connection to the forest; you're expanding your connection to Pandora."
Neyetam's gaze shifted to (Y/N), her words resonating deeply. He had always known that the Na'vi's bond with Pandora extended beyond individual territories, but her perspective offered him a new way of looking at things.
"I see what you mean," he admitted, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
(Y/N) reached out, her fingers gently brushing against his forearm. "You're stronger than you think, Neyetam. And you have the support of the clan behind you. We're here to help you find your place."
Her touch, filled with genuine kindness, ignited a spark of determination within Neyetam. He realized that while the path ahead might be challenging, he wasn't alone in his journey. (Y/N)'s unwavering encouragement and understanding were like an anchor, grounding him as he navigated this new chapter of his life.
As they stood by the shoreline, the waves whispered their secrets to the sand, and Neyetam felt a renewed sense of hope. With (Y/N) by his side, he was ready to face the challenges, embrace the change, and discover the beauty of unity among the Metkayina clan—a unity that extended beyond their differences and celebrated the strength that could be found in coming together as one.

Weasley Siblings As Firebender Types
In honor of returning to a convention again, after so many health issues stopped me, let's get self-indulgent!
For the sake lore wise, lets say this is in a modern setting
William 'Bill'
Obviously, mans will have that burned up face situation. Given, but in a setting wise he would be up the ladder and given the designated duty to study the history of the past. One of the few people who are trying to recover the airbending culture, and in charge of helping with items tampered with by bad karama/spirites. Meaning he is very close to the spiritual side, and more than likely using his bending as a means to mend things. Such as heating broken metal. An almost pacifist life style, which could have been influnced by how much hes learned through trying to help recover ancient history. Almost, A Pacifistic lifestyle. Recover what was lost. It would even be seen in his bending style, as he would be more intuned with air and water. Connected to the spirits, and it’ll show. You mess with him, well. Be careful next full moon buddy. Wouldn’t be a surprise if he pulled a Blue Spirit to steal back stolen artifacts
Charlie
He is the reason why the dragons have not gone extinct . He was specially chosen by the very dragons to help protect them. Running a special santuary on a island to keep them away, as to repair their nature. By this manner, he would have rainbow sparks in his flames. A sign that he is intuned with the dragons. Rasied by them, eats with them, he is much dragon as he is a bender. Having any visitors is esentially impossible, unless absolutly needed. Well, the weasley family would be allowed. Kin to their kin after all. He also would be extremely warm to the touch. Like I mean you throw a snow ball at him, it’s gonna start steaming. Mans a dragon. That would also mean he’s connected rather close to the spirit world. Not like Bill, but to say they haven’t been able to communicate through such a way is a lie. Just because he’s built like a jock doesn’t mean he’s dumber than a brick. Boy will he use that underestimation to his advantage in battle
Percy
Sorry guys, we know its true. He would climb the ranks, and get a bit intense. He will take pride in his nation, and need to have his family bring him back to earth alot. He would even be able to learn how to produce blue flames, in order to show his strength and determination to show the pride of his nation. Keep a close eye on him. He may be soon joining the Ozai Cult! A high ranking man he would be. Not in the military setting, but certainly working close to whatever lord is at attention at the time. Perhaps in charge of strategies for war, or works as a royal advisor. He’s important, but his own ego will cause some rifts. His connection to the spirit world is very weak, and that will be his down fall
Fred and George
They would have mastered combustion, and lighting bending. What do they do with such extreme skills? Cause mischief. They would more so run a fire work shop, and show you the beauty that fire can offer. Obviously they gotta be a dynamic of red and blue as well. Duh. They are always inventing, and would certainly be friends with everyone they can. Probs have Ty Lee genes in there somewhere even, and that’s how they are so charismatic. They can literally see your vibe, and know how to match it. As stereotypical as it is, they would have an extremely strong connection to the spirit world. As being identical twins. Which was perhaps how they were able to tap into such deep potential so young. They certainly are people you go to for advice. Be lucky they have that Ty Lee energy and are vibing. instead of being the next Azula
Ron
100% knows how to Lava bend. ((And of course the cliché that he would be teaching the next Avatar Fire bending/Helping master the element because duh)) But genuinely, he has a very earth bender personality. It would translate in his bending style, and a beautiful way to show he’s not like his siblings. He is just as much special, and different. He can handle his own, and out right manipulate a middle ground element. Earth benders better look out, he’s going to show you why you don’t mess with Weasleys. As for his spiritual connection, it’s faulty. Until he bonds with Hermione, and gets grounded again. He’s no where close like his older siblings, but his will to learn is what gives the realm a special place in their hearts for him. He’s trying, and that’s all that matters. In the end
Ginny
10000% Takes it to the levels of sportsmanship. Along with Jet Projection, and can manipulate her fire to help her fly. That sure startles her opponents. Though, but proxy it means she isn’t as spiritually connected as she should be. Hey, that’s what Luna is for anyway. She knows how to kick ass, even with out her fire bending. She wanted to know how to defend herself after all. Wouldn’t be a surprise if she had a Kyoshi Fan in her back pocket. She loves to learn any way to fight, and certainly learned different elements fighting styles. Able to keep her opponents on their toes, and understand how they move and work. She is proud of her power, but her connection to the spirits needs work. But, that’s where family comes in. Luna, and her brothers, will always have her back. And she will have theirs. You can count on it, that’s for sure
