What are your thoughts on people who fake mental disorders?

Actually, I'm going to go in depth about this (even though I should probably be studying for my exams.)

First of all, faking mental disorders is wrong. You shouldn't be doing it, it takes away from the people that actually need resources for dealing with their issues, and I think everyone can just state how plain wrong it is.

However, there is another side to this.

I believe people that fake mental disorders are in genuine need of help. Faking something much worse than what you actually have is a genuine cry for help. Yes, they're seeking attention - seeking it because they have no other way to reach out for help. They could also be trying to get attention because they were emotionally neglected when they were children and never got the proper love and care that they should have gotten.

Usually, if you're faking a disorder, it means that you have your own plethora of issues to do with being acknowledged, not seen, and being brushed off when you regularly asked for help. If someone is faking serious shit, it means that they have serious issues too, and that it should be acknowledged and that they should get help for their own issues, but not for the disorder that they were faking having.

You shouldn't be faking disorders. But for some people, it's a last resort to ask for help, or a way to get the attention that they crave because they were never loved.

TLDR: People who fake disorders have issues, and need help too.

The power of dance, taking dance classes and learning new body skills, is that it can be a great healing modality for trauma, whether mental health, depression, anxiety, etc. Dance also teaches us more about our bodies and how they uniquely NEED to move. It is starting to make sense to me why so many women are attracted to dance, to arching our backs, pointing our toes, shaking our asses and hips, wearing beautiful dance attire, and integrating all that deep cellular intelligence. Dance creates coherence between our heart, soul and spirit. Women are taught to talk all the time, process everything through the mind, and force things. But we don’t always need to explain or use the mind or words to express or process. And certainly we don’t have to force anything. When we dance, we can allow our dance to communicate on our behalf, unwind and move energy and process information. We feel more focused, free and alive, out of our heads and inside our bodies, lighting up the world with our shining auras. But we don’t have to wait until we are signed up for dance classes. We can dance right here and right now and begin the journey of moving out old energy and setting our tissues free. You can dance with a large mirror, fans, or colorful veils and fabric to activate different chakra points. You can infuse affirmations or spells into your dance and solar plexus. In my view if a someone feels attracted to Micah Bell, I’d say she has a thing for chaotic, unpredictable, and somewhat dangerous men. Micah is treacherous, manipulative, and extremely violent, but he also has a twisted charisma and unshakable confidence. This might suggest that she’s drawn to unapologetic rude man’s (bad boys? No…I don't think that's the right term for him, I'll explain later) who exude self-assurance and an “I do whatever I want, no one can stop me” attitude. Fascination with danger, being ordered around and “threatened”, something almost sadistic...the desire to possess or be taken by something/someone in which the relationship would be seen as forbidden or absurdly impossible, especially if the couple don't resemble each other in the slightest.

If I were to analyze their types:

I did some research with AI, psychology videos and voices in my head (lol-), so I came to the conclusion, almost certainly because I'm not a health expert, but I believe the conclusion corresponds to my summarized research:

Micah has a charismatic nature, with a strong presence, confidence, boldness, and a sense of security. He attracts many people, even those who question his morality. It’s no coincidence that he didn’t panic when he was shot by Dutch or when he repeatedly clashed head-on with Arthur.

Many people are fascinated by charismatic villains, and Micah, with his rustic style and confident attitude, can be captivating. Additionally, some people are attracted to troubled men, believing they can change them, feeling drawn to problematic individuals because they think they can “fix” or “save” them, romanticizing the idea that he could be different with the right love. I believe this could happen, but it would depend a lot on his own effort. Normally, people don’t change completely because of the environment in which they grew up and learned—both childhood and adolescence play a huge role in shaping an individual. The way someone is raised (whether well or poorly) MOLDS who they become and how they act.

Example: extremely strict, conservative people, and in many cases, Christians—mostly Protestants—often learn from their families certain prejudiced expressions and statements that were justified as biblical in many cases, even though not all of them were concrete. Some were used to “cover up” acts and speeches against these groups of people. That being said, I can say that Micah is somewhat of a patriot, even if he isn’t particularly religious. The way he was raised by his father, possibly even being distant from his own mother, made him completely closed off, locked inside his own world of justice and reason. He is an adult and knows how to make choices, he knows what is right and wrong—even if his sense of morality is distorted due to the way he was raised and taught by his father. If I’m not mistaken, Micah is the youngest son, and maybe that’s why he kept doing what his father did—perhaps in an attempt to please him, to be greater than him, or maybe just to avoid forgetting someone he barely remembers

So in my opinion the military man or man of power that Javier killed for the woman he loved, possibly did something against the workers or even to her, if he was going to stay with her he would have known exactly how to escape even if it was risky, maybe this man would have discovered the betrayal and killed her or beat her, or something worse... Mexico at that time was known as a violent place, where the minority that suffered the most were women.

If I were to analyze their types:

I don't think Javier needs that much analysis for someone to like him, he doesn't have any kind of Red flag 🚩, so let's say....right right, I did some research and one of the traits that is most included in attractiveness would be personality and Identification. Javier is a loyal, charismatic, and enigmatic member. His blend of honor and pragmatism can attract people who seek trustworthy and loyal figures but also have an independent and rebellious side that refuses to be stepped on.

Stepping out onto the field, you were immediately greeted by cameras hovering on all sides, mounted by Aegislash.

Every angle was determined to capture you in your star moment...as you were about to battle Galar's current champion.

But even with all of this attention on you, you didn't wave or acknowledge the cameras one bit. Your focus was only on the purple-haired man who was waiting for you in the center.

For a second or two, Leon was thrown-off by the uproarious cheers coming from the crowd after you appeared. Usually he was being rooted for the most, although it's clear that people were psyched to see you battle him.

You've been one of Galar's greatest mysteries since your arrival, and still nobody knew who you were or how you became so strong.

Stopping in front of him, you looked into his eyes, only giving a small nod of acknowledgement.

"Well this is it, B. The moment everyone's been waiting for." He grinned. "Are you ready for.......oh, guess they are.." His face fell flat as you simply turned and headed back to your position on the field.

Now he was just dying to find out who you truly are.

Who really stood under that cloak?

For now, though, all that mattered was this battle that would determine if he'd successfully defend his title as Champion...or if you were somehow going to come out on top.

Standing back at his position, Leon patted both side of his face, taking a few deep breaths. Then he tossed his heavy cape to the wind, which was hastily collected by a staff member before he struck his signature pose for all to see.

The crowd's cheers have grown tenfold, chanting his name as they mimicked the iconic gesture.

You grunted in interest, impressed how that simple action got everyone so riled up and excited. And it made you wonder...

Looking to your cloak, you gripped it with metal fingers that were barely visible to the cameras. For a moment or two you stood there debating, wondering if....

Most of the crowd descended into silence; even Leon, Hop, and the other gym leaders couldn't believe what they were seeing right before their very eyes.

After all this time, they thought they were battling a strong human Pokémon Trainer.

But no.

Instead it was a Pokémon itself.

"What a twist! I can't believe it! It seems that our mysterious competitor is none other than the Pokémon Bisharp! Somehow it has risen through the ranks of the championship without the assistance of a trainer! It's incredible! This has NEVER happened in the history of Pokémon battling!!"

Soon the crowd went WILD.

Many wondered how it was even legal for a Pokémon to enter a human competition; a few others--especially those watching from home--were convinced you were just a person in a Bisharp costume.

But the cameras surrounding you didn't lie.

You were a real Bisharp, and you were determined to become the first ever Pokémon to win a championship.

"Shar.." With a smirk, you raised your hands up to the cameras, giving them a small wave. You were relieved that your secret was finally out; it gave you a massive confidence boost after seeing how all the humans reacted.

As you then sharpened your bladed arms and readied your first pokeball, you gazed at Leon from across the way. His jaw was dropped in shock, unable to believe who he was battling.

It was quite amusing to you.

Of course, many knew Bisharps were strategic commanders of Pawniards....but nobody would have guessed they'd be intelligent enough to lead a competitive team of different Pokémon outside their lineage.

Well, you're the shining example that it was possible.

After sending out your Pokémon, you huffed, wondering when your opponent was going to snap out of it and start taking this battle seriously.

But he quickly realized you were waiting, and seemed flustered.

I'd like to do more research into these disorders. However, I believe that people with those disorders are people, just like everyone else, and that the disorders should not be stigmatized. People with NPD or ASPD - or both - are not evil, nor are they monsters.

That's my general thoughts on NPD & ASPD. :)

What is Arahabaki? What is Corruption? How do they differ from each other and For the Tainted Sorrow?

Ok so Chuuya theory coming up. I’ve been idly toying with this for a while, never really dedicated a ton of brain power to it but I think it’s come together in my subconscious to post at this point.

So. Chuuya might be a clone. This is a genuine possibility. This doesn’t mean he’s inhuman, it’s specifically stated that Chuuya is genetically and physically indistinguishable from a normal human, which in my mind means that he is human, even if he wasn’t born naturally. I don’t necessarily think he has to be a clone but I’m not ruling it out.

Here’s the thing though: N and the other Arahabaki researchers didn’t just copy the original experiment that created Verlaine. N thought that the whole thing was monstrous even with his own incredibly skewed morals. So there’s something different about Chuuya.

Here’s how I see it: Chuuya’s handed over to the Arahabaki team by his father who is also a military doctor. His original ability is unknown, somehow affecting inanimate objects and causing them to glow and under some unknown circumstances he could create a singularity from a single coin. Incredibly powerful. But limited by the fact that the human body and brain has fail safes to keep us from hurting ourselves. Humans don’t use all of our physical potential because doing so could lead to severe damage to ourselves. Like what happens when Chuuya uses Corruption.

So Chuuya’s original ability is turned into a singularity, changing its very nature and manifestation, as shown by the change of color from white to red. I have multiple theories on what it originally was but I won’t get into that right now. The point is: Chuuya’s gravity manipulation is a result of the singularity housed inside him, which we know because Verlaine has the same gravity control that Chuuya does and it’s unlikely that they started with the same Gift. Somehow, using their singularities, Chuuya and Verlaine are able to warp space and time. Because that’s all gravity is, the curvature of space time around mass and energy. The singularity is under control and can either be turned on and off at will (unlikely) or is somehow contained in another plane of existence that only the Gifted who created it has access too (my preferred theory). Idk what that other plane of existence is, but for now I’m thinking of it as a pocket dimension. I think it exists in the same space as Chuuya like an aura that doesn’t interact with anything around it unless Chuuya wants it to. It can’t be seen or felt by things in this dimension but if anything were to somehow get into its dimension it would behave similarly to a supermassive Shwarzschild black hole. Or maybe Chuuya’s is Kerr and Verlaine’s is a Shwarzschild… actually yeah that based on their fight.

But what about those limitations of the human body? What about Corruption? What about the Persona Model?

I think that the Persona Model is akin to dissociative identity disorder, in that it’s a separate consciousness housed in Chuuya’s mind, but unlike DID it’s unnatural and doesn’t originate from Chuuya’s psyche. It’s a mental state created by the researchers that allows Chuuya’s mind and body to bypass all limitations imposed upon it by basically turning off huge portions of Chuuya’s brain. The lines of code thing Verlaine talked about, the Persona Model, exists in Chuuya in a very different and much less sophisticated way, because Chuuya doesn’t need an artificial intelligence when he already has a natural intelligence, unlike Verlaine.

So to answer the questions asked in the title: Arahabaki is Chuuya, the code name given to him and the research team behind him. Corruption is the artificial mental state he enters to gain access to the full potential of the singularity. Arahabaki is all of Chuuya himself as well as the people who created him while Corruption is one specific aspect of Chuuya created by those people, and For the Tainted Sorrow was his original ability. I say that because I don’t think he has ever actually called his gravity manipulation For the Tainted Sorrow, just Gravity Manipulation, which is actually so sad to me.

UA second year. You weren't sure you were prepared for it. Sure, you survived the first year and all the trials it brought for you. But doing it all again?

You walked beside your mother into the school, not for classes or for meeting teachers. No. You were dropping out.

During your first year, you learned to grip your powers while also fighting for your life. Forcing the aura of another, or even your own aura, to morph and become an energy you could tangibly use took a heavy toll on your psych. It was a slow progression into mental instability. For the first few weeks, everyone was busy trying to contact you and trying to figure out what your texts meant, then they started reminiscing like you were dead.

Mina's favorite story was about the time you had glared at a man in public for calling your outfit cringe until you managed to spark him with a pinch of his own dark aura. Or the one Kaminari loved to partially tell: the time you got so angry at a group of jerks that you screamed until bolts of electricity shot out of your pores to tase all of them. Even with all his yelling, he wasn't mad or anything. He understood their want to keep you with them in UA despite the fact that you left them. Aizawa silently ushered the boy back towards his dorm, giving the vaguest explanation to your disappearance.

He went through the rest of UA with the same bitter attitude, refusing to take part in any conversation that had to do with you. Even when he started his own agency and worked alongside Kaminari and, to his surprise, Momo, Bakugo would not speak about you. The man didn't know how to feel about it, being a grown adult and still yearning for his high school girlfriend, or at least that love he felt for her.

It's not until he's on patrol that he catches sight of you. You hardly changed. Older, yes, but still the same. Same hair, same face, same walk.

"Y/n." He doesn't hesitate to grasp your elbow, not thinking about how you may have moved on, gotten a new partner. He doesn't care. "Why'd you leave? Why didn't you say anything?"

"Still not beating around the bush, huh?" You chuckled awkwardly at his stern expression. Of course he would want to know. You dipped out without a word to anyone as to why. "Don't piss around with me, woman. Explain yourself." Bakugo backed you into a corner, not really caring that people were taking pictures of him. To those extras, he probably looked like a hero cornering an innocent woman, but to him, he was keeping your face from the photos. Obviously, you wanted privacy, right? That had to be a part of why you left UA. It only made sense.

"I couldn't take it... my quirk..." You mumbled, "It posed too much stress on me mentally... I had to leave for my health..." How long had you waited to be honest with Bakugo? How long had you waited to see his handsome face and apologize for leaving without footsteps? Too long.

Bakugo squished you more into the corner, keeping you out of view of lenses as people shouted at him for him to leave you alone.

It's a great sign of stagnation in the mind, heart, and pelvis when when we judge others. When we don't stay curious, open, and ask questions, we cut off our own light and life force. If you want to feel pulse of love move up your spine, not age rapidly in your tissues (as lovely as aging is), not bring further strain or tension around your mobility or eye sight, consider stop standing on your hind legs like an animal judging other people or thinking you know something when you have never had a real conversation with someone, which only tightens up your body and constricts your blood flow, possibly even severing a beautiful bond and incredible connection.
