âI am a Halloween person. When me and Blake first got together, it was Halloween, so we went out and I dressed up like a country girl - It was my fake, like Knottâs Berry Farm version of a country girl - like a square-dancing outfit. In the song Marigolds, thereâs a line that says, âDressed up like a country girl, I knew you'd approveâ. Â And it's basically a nod to that because I definitely did go country when it comes to Blake, but not musically.â

Erin Reed at Erin In The Morning:
On Thursday, Governor Tim Walz sat down for an interview with author Glennon Doyle, her partner Abby Wambach, and her sister Amanda Doyle during a taping of the We Can Do Hard Things podcast. The conversation touched on key election issues such as abortion and gun violence. However, midway through the podcast, the discussion shifted to queer youth, specifically transgender kids. Rather than shying away from the topic, Walz delivered a passionate, several-minute-long defense of LGBTQ+ rights, including transgender healthcare. He outlined his vision for the administrationâs role in protecting these rights.
[...]
Walz discussed positive legislative actions, such as codifying hate crime laws and increasing education, while emphasizing the importance of using his platform to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. He then addressed the role of judges in safeguarding medical care for queer youth: âI also think what Abby, your point is on this, and I was just mentioning, we need to appoint judges who uphold the right to marriage, uphold the right to be who you are, making sure thatâs the case, uphold the right to get the medical care that you need. We should not be naive. Those appointments are really, really important. I think thatâs what the vice president is committed to.â He didnât stop there. Instead, he directly pivoted to calling out national anti-transgender attack ads which have flooded the airwaves across the United States, often airing besides NFL football games and other major sporting events. The Trump administration has spent upwards of $20 million on such ads, with outside organizations spending $80 million on various races.
âWe see it now; the hate has shifted to the trans community. They see that as an opportunity. If youâre watching any sporting events right now, you see that Donald Trumpâs closing arguments are to demonize a group of people for being who they are,â Walz said. He continued, âWeâre out there trying to make the case that access to healthcare, a clean environment, manufacturing jobs, and keeping your local hospital open are what people are really concerned about. Theyâre running millions of dollars of ads demonizing folks who are just trying to live their lives.â He emphasized the importance of representation and the impact of coming out, particularly for parents who may not have been exposed to LGBTQ+ identities and therefore might lack understanding.
Appearing on the We Can Do Hard Things podcast Thursday, Kamala Harris VP pick and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) gave a resolute defense of trans and LGBTQ+ youths.
Dear Sherrod Brown and Colin Allred (and any other Democratic politician), please learn from this interview on how to properly discuss trans issues in your campaigns, and that is not give legitimacy to anti-trans arguments.

Thursday October 30, 1997
Aaliyah, along with Hanson, Backstreet Boys, En Vogue, and more, performed at the B96 Halloween Bash Music Festival in Rosemont IL at the Rosemont Arena (now known as the AllState Arena).
B96 held their Halloween Bash every year from 1996-2002; it was held on the last Thursday of the month of October of every year.
The Halloween Bash (in October) and Jingle Bash (in December) were additional events added by B96 because the Summer Bash concert series proved successful. The concert events for the Summer Bash stopped in 2020 due to the pandemic.

June 2, 88.9 Radio Milwaukee, Salam Fatayer hosts
"I write from the spear-edge of my heart."
"I really value my privacy, but also I donât think my life is that interesting... We all sleep at night, and a lot of the rest of the time youâre either on the toilet or youâre eating. Nobodyâs that specialâŠBy some fans Iâm maybe held to an impossible standard, so cultivating and practicing that distance is easier."
June 6, KROQ, Klein Ally Show

"in any capacity, engaging in music is such an amazing thing."
June 9, I'm Listening with Audacy, Maia Kedem?? hosts
"Exercising really really helps with my mental health, Even if I can just get a walk in, twenty minutes, just fresh air.
Being kinder to myself and being a friend to myself, as hard as that can be sometimes, that really helps, I try to make a habit of that as much as I can.â
June 20, Jon Comouche on 104.3 MYfm
youtube
"If you and me were to sit down with a few beers, I'd start foaming at the mouth complaining about this world. I'm not a fun person to talk to a lot of the time. I can be, but like you get me goingâŠI have a chaotic sense of humor that I try to filter for the fans."
"Did you know you're a heartthrob on Tiktok?" *Beams* "That's cool. On my feed it's just Pedro Pascal, and that's alright, there's a man I'd like to set the world to rights with."
June 22, Zach Sang Show

âIâm using the poem as a device to distance myself from it, but if Iâm being honest Francesca did start from a personal place. I wrote that for somebody, before I brought it forward to a producer.â

Jungkook Audacy Performance
Here's a link in case you haven't watched it yet. Please do watch it first as I don't like influencing anyone's initial reaction.
youtube
Back? Cool, I have thoughts.
I desperately wanted to love this but there are just some execution issues that I'm struggling to get past.
STANDING NEXT TO YOU
I actually didn't mind this performance much, still don't really care for the song but it's just not to my personal taste. This was the best application of JK purposely putting down the mic though, having him place it on the table. I always get just a little cringe when he puts it on the floor in the other performances but I have a suspicion it's supposed to be an enticing move that just does nothing for my ace self.
I still don't understand why there are so many dancers with JK. Especially on this small stage, it just looks crowded. Thus song is supposed to feel a little more intimate but the juxtaposition with so many others on stage with him is just awkward.
SEVEN
I got so excited when I saw the first JK duplicate! This type of filmmaking requires planning and preparation and I know the BTS production team is capable of some pretty cool visuals....but apparently the intended direction was to make the audience feel as seasick as possible while staring at a screen? What is with the continuous Dutch angles and floaty zooms?? Oh it's so bad. I can tell there was a great idea but it's just so poorly executed...
3D
I absolutely DESPISE the 'mute' method of censoring in songs. As much as I dislike the rap in this song, I'd so much rather hear it than the abrupt muting of specific words. Pretty sure there's something happening psychologically that makes me fill in the gap mentally and then those individual words stick around longer but with no context. I realize they do it because they need to comply with some broadcasting policy but I wish never again to hear a clean version of ANY song with this approach, fill it in with something else or don't do it.
But THIS song absolutely makes sense to have so many dancers, and they've allocated enough space for it.
CLOSER TO YOU
I wish I hadn't been spoiled as to this song being in this performance. It would have been a great moment of wonderment when a song other than the titles was about to start. Oh well, had to be in esrly meetings.
So...um...I understand the vision for this performance and it's actually an interesting idea with this song but...how do I say this nicely... This was completely reliant on JK's acting abilities to walk that fine line to not get into actual creeper territory and while JK is a great performer, he's really not that great of an actor. The edit didn't help him much either.
I'd like to end on a positive note though and go over some of the things that were great with this performance.
The set design! Absolutely gorgeous! Excellent idea and blocking for joining these songs into a cohesive performance.
The lighting! Oi, whomever was in charge of this, they did a great job! Absolutely perfection functionally for coverage and to support the storytelling.
That's it though...there will absolutely be some gorgeous stills and gifs that can come from this material. (not my crappy screen records, see someone else for the good ones! Lol) Overall this performance has continued the Golden theme of a great idea with some execution issues.

Audacy, 04/05/2023.
Overwhelmed by the beauty of her vocals, @gavinrossdale admitted that he cried when he first listened to the song [1000 years] with @amyleeâs voice. In the interview, Rossdale recounted the story behind the collaboration, sharing how he reached out to Lee and the unexpected outcome that followed. The collaboration came together in a memorable performance at Nashvilleâs Ryman Theater, where Rossdale and Lee performed Bushâs song â1000 Yearsâ together. âNever thought weâd collaborate. What happened was we played the Rhyman Theater which is a famous old church in Nashville that people think of it as this crazy venue. Everyone freaks out about the venue. I didnât know much about it, I am not from Nashville. So, I went to this beautiful auditorium, and she lives there so I wrote and asked her to come to the show. I just said, âDo you want to come and sing a song with me? Can I send you a song I was thinking that itâd be great if you sang one.â [âŠ] She sent me the song back with her vocal on it. I did cry. I did. It was so beautiful, and I was so proud of that song, and it meant to me already. With Amy on it, it was just too good.â
