Bonding with Ozpin 👀 over the fact that both feel like they made mistakes for the fall of beacon. Maybe feeling that closeness of knowing the other was willing to sacrifice themselves to save the world and failed....

Her connecting with Oscar because both at first despised the "other voice" within their head and how their actions don't feel like their own... later questioning where they end and the other person begins.

Cinder despises not having the full power of a maiden and that's why she hunts down other maidens so she could at least feel like she has some semblance of control.

Ruby not unlocking her silver eye abilities and being kept in the dark by many of her mentors until it finally comes out and now Ruby questions if her fate was her own choosing or pressured by others who knew her true abilities....

on a completely separate note; shizun luo binghe with a disciple shen yuan who fell into the abyss??? *thinks about LBH canonically stealing SQQ's corpse for 5 years* he'd hallucinate i think. like, like visual and audial hallucinations.

Keeps thinking he's seeing SQQ in the corner of his eyes, or wandering between the trees, amongst a group of disciples. Thinks he hears him calling for him, but its just the wind or another disciple.

Gets Xiu Ya reforged but patently fucking refuses to make a sword mound. Because his disciple Is Not Dead :))) There was No Body. He's Not Dead. And If You keep Insisting That He Is, He's Gonna Skewer You :). He's holding onto Xiu Ya so he can return his most favored disciple's sword when he returns. It's on his hip right next to Zheng Yang where it's supposed to be.

Also this motherfucker?? does not sleep btw. He has the image of SQQ, wide eyed and hysterical and standing at the mouth of the abyss burned into his fucking eyelids. Can't use the dreamscape to escape it either because he keeps trying to save him and either he does and it's an incredibly cruel trick to wake up to, or he doesn't and he gets his heart broken in several different pieces again.

There is no convincing this man that Shen Qingqiu is dead. Absolutely nothing at all. He is buried so deep in denial that moles would be jealous of how deep he is. He keeps making tea for two in the bamboo house only to remember that it's just him. SQQ's fans are hiding everywhere, little reminders of his presence. He goes to wake up SQQ on the mornings he sleeps in-- only to find the room empty.

Sooo kinda been talking about this au but wanted to actually summarize what it was and stuff cause there is no context- jsut like, headcanons and stuff for the au- I am gonna write it, jsut gitta get started soooo for now I'm jsut gonna talk about it lol

Anyways, the Hazbins Fallen au is a fallen Emily au, but uh, jsut a bit different-

So essentially Emily is tired of being treated as a kid, tired of being called lucifers replacement and all that, she just git out if a fight with Sera and.....sees some angles leaving, que her confusion

Due tit hat confusion she follows after them through the portal before it closes, she.....was not prepared for the scene infront of her, luckily she landed in a low populated area but the mroe she walked the more screams could be heard

The sight....isn't very pretty, blood splattered and angles standing over demons dead bodies and her fight or flight kicks in and she jsut runs, she doesn't understand what's happening and surely Sera will right? She tries to find Adam, or Lute, because she's to panicked to make a proper portal and.....well, finds them in the akkyway with Vaggie, que her running around the corner and nearly throwing up because how could they do that, why woukd they jsut rip off someone's wings liek that?

She doesn't realize when the senseless slaughter ends and the angles leave. She does end up slowly going back to that ally because she wasn't going to jsut leave her and kinda just, meakly waves at chalrie and Vaggie liek 'heyyyy you uh....you good-'

Charlie goes home with two stray cats that day to put it simply-

So yeah Charlie woukd know their both angles, she doesn't care, their hers now. Emily does end up getting a disguise via putting her magic in this necklace to make one, as long as she wears it no one can tell she's an angle

She did want to go back up to heaven but....not anymore, especially not after spending some time with them- she's kinda scared of Sera now, scared she'll take her away from them

This big ole guy took me a good while to finish! the character he has in his hands is @thedeafprophet 's OC Jamie Awnings. I really wanted to draw an absolutely massive Mer, and the Manager was the perfect fit!

His body and the 'scale' part of his tail are both done in Prismacolor, as is Jamie. His fins and the background are sone in Pen Inks used as watercolors.

Tie! JayPoppy has more actual meat textually and has more story possibilities. Under the table romance, tragic Leafpool parallel, what could have been in a kinder world. And there's just so much to explore in the Orpheus/Eurydice parallel. KestrelJay is more of a pulled from whole cloth thing, but legitimately I think there's angles. And Jayf to me is really, really, really bisexual so of course I need an mlm ship as well.

LEAST FAVORITE!

HalfJay. The time travel plot is a waste of ink and paper and I deeply resent it and all associated characters sans Fallen Leaves. There's so much better ways to do tragic LeafCrow parallels. Get it out of my sight.

BreezeJay. Let them become cross-Clan friends, first off driving each other insane and then becoming the only ones who can tolerate each other's cranky. Let them vent to each other about their Clan's unfair treatmet of them and find comfort in each other. Let Breeze feel betrayed and crossed that Jayf became a meddie only to be reminded they're halfClan anyway. Let Breeze be disgusted upon finding out they're half-siblings, not so much because of their blood relationship but because he's at the root of Crowfeather's issues with him.

Fallen Monarch- Base Reference

Leon’s size is something that’s constantly fluctuating due to all the dynamax energy being crammed into his body, but this is roughly* the most consistent size he can maintain.

Funfact, the pink highlights in Leon’s hair aren’t actually pink, their white. They look pink because of the dynamax. The human body isn’t really designed to be constantly shifting sizes, even with the durability of most humans of PokeEarth.

Hop’s sleeve is torn from when Eternatus overloaded his dynamax band and Leon ripped it and his sleeve off in a panic.

funniest possible outcome where after her fall (and after heaven has to get a new saint after she takes st peter with her as a meal for her wife) the next extermination happens early at a very badly mistimed overlord meeting where al just brought vox in and dared anyone to say anything about it (they didnt bc theyre not idiots) an exterminator angel vox befriended as a winner civilian finds them on complete accident, goes "wtf vox your wife was an OVERLORD???" and al goes "YOU TALKED ABOUT ME????"

"Ah, have I been demoted from 'crown prince' to 'a brat's steward', now?" Even as he says that, he doesn't seem that put out to hold his sister's shoes, and declines handing them over when questioned.

Though he does seem a bit distracted... the prince seems to be searching for someone.

"Careful you don't fall face first in the water!" He calls, holding Avelan's hand (halfway romantically, halfway consolingly, oh his poor husband and his vendetta against sand), and then he calls ahead. "That goes double for you, Merry! Keep an eye on him, will you, James~?"

"Of course, Your Highn--ah, Prince Mercury! Please be careful!" He's already running after his charge.

"But look at all this sand, James--it's everywhere! It's amazing!" The young prince is smiling so wide--the biggest smile he's given in weeks.

Archaic Lake Cats Culture

Before the tribes and before the forest clans there was the Lake Cats. They acted much more like real cat clowders but had clear differences.

The single group would travel around the lake during different seasons. In Greenleaf they’d settle in the marshes, in Leaffall they’d settle in the lush forests, in Leafbare they’d settle in the river lands, and in Newleaf they’d settle in the sparse fields. A cat is given a name at birth and they stuck to that name unless specifically changing it for a special reason examples being Half Moon, Fallen Leaves, and Broken Shadow. A single spiritual leader leads the group across the territories and performs ceremonies like the honor ceremony, choosing when to travel to the next camp, and sleeping next to the sparkling pool.

The honor ceremony is when a young cat is sent into the tunnels at dusk tasked to traverse them to find their new self and re-emerge at dawn to mark themselves as a full grown cat. This is done every newleaf no matter how old a cat is because this is when the Tribe is settled at the field territory right next to the sparkling pool (later the moonpool)

The changing of camps is decided by the current leader usually as the first signs of the changing seasons show up

Sleeping at the Sparkling Pool was a event held every newleaf after all young cats became adults and done by all cats of the group who could make the journey. Here the cats would sleep atop the smooth rocks or directly at the pools side if they were particularly close to the Stars and speak with their ancestors. While some dreamed of catching prey or seeing a loved one others would hear whispers of the future

Sharing of prey was a well practiced tradition of making sure even the weakest or unable cats got some food. This is a common thing across all forms of the original Lake Cats

It was a harsh Leafbare when the Lake cat Leader Half Moon received a whisper of the soon coming future. A massive fire would strip and destroy the newly sprouting fields, if the cats stayed they would dwindle and die out. But where they would go was not foreseen. After telling the well respected Smooth Stone (prev. Stone Song) about what she saw the cats put it to a vote of where they would move, to the mysterious mountains or unknown lands. Casting stones they came to a tie. Unsure of what to do the Lake Cats broke apart, Half Moon’s group heading to the mountains and Smooth Stone’s group heading off to strange lands. Both groups would end up living but in very different ways. Half Moon’s followers becoming the new Tribes of Rushing Water and Smooth Stone’s becoming the Sisters.

Tfp au Megatronus Prime is actually an interesting topic because ultimately speaking, he's underestimating Tarn on a lot of fronts— I mean he doesn't exactly have any frame of reference for what outliers (or "Supersparks" as final comic Lost Light Prowl put it as they were no longer rare) which tbh nobody in this timeline has either; all they know is Tarn is Like That and they don't know why. Tfp au Tarn is... Particularly volatile, and ultimately that will hinder some of the Fallen's efforts to destroy Cybertron and Earth (also consider that at this point Cybertron is still dark, so the Fallen kinda has to consider reviving Cybertron just to do the whole destroy both planets at once thing)

In canon, Steeljaw's pack was low-key enough that Megatronus Prime's prison break was quick as hell but also rather obvious enough that Oppy and the Bee team were able to stop it just as quick. Now Steeljaw was way more hesitant to work with the Fallen as he was fairly sure this was too good to be true (it was). Tarn on the other hand is fairly distracted, desperate, and absolutely is gonna take whatever bait Megatronus Prime chums the water with. In some ways, the Fallen has more control over Tarn than he did Steeljaw, but in others he has less control.

It's such a concept to explore that would make no sense in any situation that's not the TFP au, and ultimately that's the glory of this au: it's unpredictable and has some of the most unique circumstances in it. Major plot points that evolved from quirky little shitposts
