My headcanon for Namor in modern×normal au's, is he'd have a pet chihuahua, xolo, or frogs. First two are beloved dog breeds raised by his people. And frogs in Aztec mythology are symbols/musicians for Chac the God of lighting, rain, and fertility.

*but either Attuma or Namor having a pet chinchilla is hilarious. Originally got as a way to appeal to girls bc who wouldn't want to pet a chinchilla? But they loved the little fur gremlin. They imagine if he talked, he'd sound like a annoyed Latino news anchor that smokes too much.

Long time no see! This submission is all the way from Jan. 2023 darn, that's how long I've been away! That said, I acknowledge this headcanon.

Chinchillas and chihuahuas are one of the reasons why Namor keeps going to the surface world! He's still figuring out how to transport the animals and provide habitation for them in his cave, but at the same time, he's unlikely to pull through with getting lots of them under the sea. Such creatures don't need to be pulled from their natural habitat. He's only ever kept a few in his lifetime.

I think that so far, Soap has clearly demonstrated himself to be the more emotionally intelligent one of the pair, but it doesn't mean he doesn't still get frustrated at times. He's also just an emotional guy, and is working himself up a bit. This is a difficult topic for him to want to remain calm over, and there's a lot of factors contributing to his reaction.

One big factor is that he is a werewolf and he sees things through the eyes of his human side and wolf side. The shades of grey that Ghost sees in the Mexico operation just isn't there for Soap - to him, Ghost's 'pack' was under attack and he successfully defended it (this 'pack instinct' is something he shares with Price). The fact that his wolf now considers Ghost his in some way also contributes to his upset over having to read about what happened to him in such a clinical way. Werewolves can be kind of irrationally territorial, and although Soap is used to reading reports just like this, the fact that it's concerning Ghost (in probably the most vulnerable state of his life) is raising his hackles.

It's not a fight, because at the end of the day, Soap isn't mad at Ghost, just at his circumstances. But he's basically just asserting some emotional boundaries here with Ghost (who is, for what it's worth, I'd say a bit surprised and mostly bemused here.)

FINALLY SOME ART FOR AN AU IVE BEEN WORKING ON!!!!! YIPEEEEEE!!!!!!!! So tl;dr Twisted Modes like an alternate game mode designed to be a form of 'hard mode', where the play styles for each toon have been muddied or completely changed to offer a completely different experience for players. The premise is that the toons are like a remnant of previous games, its based upon the clone theory so each individual toon has their own story and lore separate from the others (though there are exceptions for a few characters!). Also the AU is written in a way that's meant to semi-emulate the game itself which is why the stats and alternate abilities are listed, expect more gameplay aspects to be given in the future bc i love coming up with gameplay mechanics 😈
