Hi! Just wanted to say I really liked your one piece x dungeon meshi swap au, Im not in OP fandom and yet the way you drew each character captivated me enough I had to stare at each for at least a few minutes. And you made so much! It's amazing! All colored and lined, the backgrounds being reminiscent of the manga instead of simply blank, the poses! Your dedication is admirable. And it's all so distinct, I loved how you incorporated their features that blend well with the different races. I enjoyed it when they had beards as dwarfs! The hair on the skeleton being shinier as an elf was funny. I think yours are my favorite swap au, to me, they really capture the charm and personality of character, even if they look slightly different, they're all so beautiful, just like Ryoko Kui did with hers. Am I making sense? Your art really just made me happy a lot!

Thank you so much!! haha I think ryoko kui actually only did like 4 or 5 sets of swaps? so I guess in the end I drew more swap headshots than her LOL (though she did have all those sets of headshots sorted by race which was immensely helpful)

I hope that gave you a bit of spark to read one piece! I'm super happy you were able to catch all the dunmeshi touches, maybe once you're entrenched in the one piece fandom you'd be able to see the one piece details you didn't catch before :)

hi there! would it be okay to write fanfic based on some of your art / in the AU your art depicts? and are there any exceptions to that?

Hello! If you're referring to my one piece AUs, that's totally ok!

My dms are always open for more in depth discussion about ideas/etc! If there hasn't been any prior discussion beforehand though, I'd prefer for the fanfic to be specified that it was "inspired" by my artwork rather than a definitive "this is now the companion piece to this artwork" kind of thing. I don't want any implication that I'm giving my stamp of approval of things I haven't read myself if that makes sense, especially if the fic ends up clashing w/ my own headcanons.

As an example, there are some AUs I have where Crocodile is trans (impel down modern AU, medieval crocohawk), others where it doesn't matter that much to me (canon divergence AUs, dunmeshi, witch hat atelier). If someone's inspired to write a modern AU fic inspired by my impel down piece and have Crocodile be cis, I'd still be super flattered of course but it's their AU and their vision now, not really the one I drew, so I don't want them to point at me and go "look, I wrote a fic for that piece of art!" I'd rather them say "I saw this piece of art and got inspired, so I wrote my own thing!" Then they can do whatever they want.

Of course if a prospective writer and I end up talking in depth in dms about ideas/plot points/where the fic is going to go, I'm totally ok w/ them going like "hey I got the stamp of approval from Erio." Honestly I might end up doing extra art too for the hypothetical fic if I'm feeling super inspired as well.

but yeah I hope that makes sense! just want to have my boundaries be clear
