Sorry for my venting 😞 I received a vicious ask on my art blog that insulted my take on my muse. I haven't gotten hate in many years and it has honestly really thrown me off. I didn't expect the anti fans to be like this. It affected me a lot more than I thought it would.

Unlocking the rapport convo between Ramona'n'Yunifee where they tackle the "mom by adoption" thing after Yunifee says that they're not really parent and child (apologising for accidently calling her mom!) and ultimately acknowledging and accepting their feelings for each other :

I couldn't help but compare how heavy-handed Fe Fodlan, even if it's more lampshaded in FEH, tries to sell the "uwu Lonato is Ashe's adopted son", or Ashe sees him as such.

Because it has no fall out or no acknowledgment from Ashe in AM, when Lonato basically goes :

"You stand against me and disagree with the nonsense I'm sprouting? I won't try to reason you, but I will "put an end to this" "

Which is even more lampshaded in Dimitri's battle convo :

Your Highness... I cannot stop here. For my child, and for the people of Fódlan.

Lonato cannot stop fighting for his child... even if it means to kill his other child (or adopted son, he sees Ashe as "lesser" than Christophe because Ashe isn't his blood son?).

I know FEH is allergic to having Fodlan characters react to the events that happen through the course of the game(s) save for 2 notable characters (and even then, I don't remember if Pre TS Dimitri talks or even muses about Boar!Mitri) but can you imagine someone who only plays FEH, who is hammered with Ashe's "wow Lonato is so great he adopted me when I was someone who stole from him I want to be a great knight just like he was!", play FE16 and not be disappointed with Ashe's lack of comments/consideration/realisation that his "oh so awesome" father figure... was willing to cut him down to avenge "his child"'s memory?

Morad feels like shit in UO after having tried to attack his adopted daughter/sister Yunifee while being berserked, and the devs designed a "bad" ending by implying berserk!Morad/Ramona kill Yunifee if Alain doesn't liberate Bastorias so there is a pay-off to the "those people share an important bond!" in the story, even if it's not a blood-bond.

In Fodlan ? Even in the post TS, when you had him fight against the dude who was in to "avenge his child", Ashe will never comment on Lonato not seeing him as "his child" despite him considering him to be his adopted father, to the point of seeing his life as expendable if it meant fighting for Christophe's sake.

Hell, we have some instances where he mentions he wants to become a "great" knight like Lonato which is... Yeah :/

I'd say we could blame FE Fodlan (FE16 in this case) for not giving mandatory conversations/deployment and all, but, idk, after this exchange, it feels like Nino post-Sonia's defeat, is still harping around on how "great" of a mother she was.

FFS, in FE5/9/10 we had special interactions when children were supposed to fight against their parents, either they don't fight, kid switches sides and joins their parent on the opposite side and becomes a red unit, or the parents becomes a punching ball and never retaliates against the blue unit kid.

In Fodlan, Nino will never realise that Sonia never loved her.

But we're sold a version of Ashe that still believes Sonia was the bestest knight ever, and wants to emulate her.

cannot decide whether it's hilarious or depressing that Karen is framed as this major trump card for Getting Daniel Back, like Daniel wanting to meet her has been a running theme through the show, she's implied to be a counterbalance to Lisbeth's fucked-up vicious kind of maternity,

but then they go to the church and Daniel just....doesn't recognize her, doesn't trust her. and Lisbeth runs verbal rings around her from the very beginning. and Sean is the one who actually talks Daniel out of it, the one who spills blood to get Daniel get back, the one who has that shared reserve of healthy, happy childhood memories neither Karen or Lisbeth have access to, and those memories are what snaps Daniel out of it because that's how you define family when it comes down to it, not with faith or even with bloodand it's just one more reason ep 4 messes me up so goddam bad.

@sallyastral Dan Heng is an evil evil villain for MANY reasons and an important part of this is that sweet Bladie has had a tortured life of pain and suffering and hatred and so all reasonable people are obviously on his side. Dan Heng "claims" not to be Dan Feng (a main contributor to Bladie's trauma) which is a lie since he's had multiple dreams of his past lives and remembers facts from it. If he truly hasn't quite sussed everything out yet it's because he's not trying smh. Dan Heng has the additional crime of being more boring than his toxic predecessor Dan Feng which makes me sad because at least give me dramatic angsty yoai instead of Dan Heng refusing to participate like the idiot he is. Dan Heng also had dragon horns for about thirty minutes before reverting back to his boring design so obviously there is opportunities for him to be cool which he refuses at every turn. Somehow Dan Heng has been pardoned for all of the Dan Feng crimes while poor Sweet Bladie has not.

Overall we ofc all hate him equally and this is not bias from me nor is it slightly tainted by an inside joke of Dan Heng being very most evil and terrible HSR character.

I absolutely love how Loki hit Thor with gungnir on the face 'now fight me' and Thor just took it. HE JUST DID IT. WHAT? He was just taking Loki's blows until Loki brought Jane (smart af because he knew Thor wouldn't hit him otherwise) but still.

I feel like Thor thought it's one of Loki's angry phase and he can use me as a punching bag to channel his frustration out. He is my little bro. 👀

I want to know more about their relationship. Its intriguing

Thor can see that Loki's not thinking straight and he thinks oh he'll just get his anger out and everything will be fine (but it's not going to be fine)

What they do not tell you about harassment is that if the people trying to get a rise out of you are not succeeding by prodding you directly, they will change tactics and try to get a rise out of you by harassing your friends

Even somebody who isn't particularly affected by verbal abuse being directed towards themself is likely to be very upset by their friends getting dragged into it and getting hurt

Tfw ur at 14 hp and get hit for 5 damage. And u try to update ur hp to 9, but accidentally just make ur hp 194. Whoops! Let me just take that back down- WHOOPS! I "lost" 185 hp, so the blood mechanic thinks I took a MASSIVE amount of damage. Whoops! I have bled all over the map.

The sandsteamer rolls along the sand , scenery of beige flying by in a blur. He's minding his own business ( as he always does , thank you very much ) , the perfect picture of innocence as he bobs his head left and right to the song playing on his device. Drumming his fingers in the air in a circular pattern, he almost completes a full revolution when danger comes in the form of one Meryl.
