so i came up with a death note soul eater au

the plot ⬇️

- light (a meister) is the top student at DWMA and a battle strategy prodigy. but he can’t find a good weapon

- L (a weapon) is also a battle strategy prodigy. he works independently from the DWMA with Watari as his meister. they fight evil on their own but sometimes the DWMA asks for their help because they’re so boss at hunting people down

- light devises a plan to make ragnarok (ryuknarok. in this au.) because he wants to make a death scythe but no weapons at the DWMA are on his skill level. he knows the risks of the black blood and creates it anyway

- the madness gets to him so light kills a bunch of people HE deems as evil (even though they mostly aren’t) with ryuknarok. so the DWMA calls in L and Watari to hunt him down

- they battle it out for a LONG TIME because both of them are crazy talented in battle strat (watari included) and somehow match every single one of each others moves. eventually L/Watari win and capture light

- they figure out how to separate light from ryuknarok (though the black blood is still in light. so he’s still a little crazy)

- L knows this, but he also did research on Light and knows how good of a meister he is (and knows he’s a prodigy like him). and after seeing light fight he’s like… 1. i can’t let this guy back out on the street. he’s insane and volatile. 2. don’t want to kill him he’s too smart it’d be a waste 3. He’s amazing in battle and the only person who has ever given watari and I a challenge. SO L makes a deal with him and instead of light getting locked away, he can be L’s new meister. so L can keep him in check. (but mostly because L wanted him sooooo bad)

- they become a death scythe very easily and everyone hates them for it. everyone also hates them for being too powerful (their soul resonance is unheard of) and for being the DWMA’s most obnoxious staff couple

AYYY LILYPAD!!! And to answer your questions, Sig straight up said fuck it and geniused his way thru building himself a combat body!!! This combat body is separate from his og iterator puppet and is designed to withstand fights, but the purpose ofc is to revive his pookie, Moon :)

I also wouldn't say that Moon is evil per say, its more of Sig using a modified version of the rot to...extremely enhance her aggro. This of course will be directed to FIVE PEBBLES

All I know after that scent related leak (ik not cool but dc) is that Dream is definitely Sapnap's half-brother.

Like we had clues : physical appearance, that they knew each other as pups, that Dream's dad is a sore point for him and Sapnap doesn't like his either (pls bear w/ me it all makes sense)... But 2 scents that close ? Not physically possible srr.

Like we have the main scent of oak wood, pretty regular for A, but the under-scent of salt and sun ? Coupled with their heigtened scent being the different rank of cinders ? That's more improbable than Dream's luck !

Also would explain how they both managed to live together in close quarters ! We all know it's impossible for anyone to live with non-compatibles scent (can't join link but any simpleton can use google). Like only mates and adjacent family members. And we know since George came here they are always changing places.

It's because they physically can't stand their scents mashed together yet !!!!! But there was no problem with Sapnap moving in ? Like, really ?

U know who can move in without problems ? Family. Would also explain y Dream trusted him so much and y Sapnap's parents were ready to let him go live without even trying to meet the new pack member (bc no one talk about how anti-conventionnel that was ?? Like there were some remarks at the time but shut down so quickly. It's just common sense to see how scents mash before integrating new pack members). I feel like I'm going crazy but all those clues can only mean one thing and that's they're family !!!

i decided i kinda hated how i drew him tbh, and my brian was like "yo you should totally redesign him instead of doing your hw" and i was like "omg!!! you're so right!!!" and now here he is!

decided to make his poncho actually accurate, aka shorter in the front, long in the back, because i realized how much of a pain it the ass it was to make it all seem like the same length when doing poses AND because actual cowboy's ponchos are typically shorter on the front/sides compared to the back, in order for better mobility and quicker drawing

i also changed his 4 pointed star tail into a 5 pointed star, bc it made more sense considering he has 5 points n all... also bc i kept seeing ppl do it as well and i was like "omg that's such a good idea why didn't i think of that"
