"anakin would've never turned to the dark side had qui gon lived." utter. bullshit. not only is this particular hot take an insult to obi-wan it completely robs anakin of his agency, because at the end of the day it was anakin's decision to pledge his loyalty to palpatine and to destroy everything that the people he loved held dear. that's what makes anakin skywalker such a compelling character, and as darth vader a tragic and iconic villian... because he did this to himself.
#star wars#anakin skywalker#obi wan kenobi#qui gon jinn#meta#gzb#dave filoni#jedi order#darth vader#i always take anything feloni has to say about anakin with a pinch of salt since he retconned tcw!anakin to be “likeable”#anakin didn't need to be “likeable” he needed to be cringe and unhinged#hayden christensen understood the assignment#back to qui gon: i'm sorry but#qui gon's 1st padawan (xanatos) turned to the dark side#his 2nd padawan (obi-wan) was made to feel unwanted pretty much the whole time qui gon was his master#including that time qui gon stood before the council and told them *in front of obi-wan* that he wanted to train someone else#and feloni's out here claiming qui gon would've magically cured my boy's unhingedness??? hahaha nO#obi-wan kenobi was and always will be the best fit for anakin#and as for the sith lord-shaped elephant in the room? palpatine had been grooming anakin since he was 9#he would've exploited the cracks in the master/padawan relationship no matter who anakin's master was

Another You (.02)
an anakin skywalker/jedi consular!reader fic set during the clone wars
the pitch: best friends with anakin since he had joined the jedi order, you hadn’t expected to catch feelings for him, not that hard, at least. his intentions were clear — his heart already enraptured by the nubian senator, leaving you to ruminate about the prospect of letting go of not just him, but maybe everything. until another anakin shows up, and your — your universe’s anakin starts behaving strangely.
A/N: happy birthday, @kaizsche! i hope you enjoy this update!! a note to all readers — there’s no y/n here, the reader’s nickname for the fic is sky. happy reading!
part two— you're not helping.
word count: 7,042
part one | two (here) | ....
Simply put, Aayla Secura was enjoying this. Restraining herself with absolute failure from bursting into fits of laughter, Aayla watched as even the most experienced of Jedi masters drop their caf or just stare with their jaws dropped, t h u n d e r s t r u c k, at Anakin and his double — the long-haired Anakin — walking side-by-side with Master Kenobi being the only one who separated Anakin from thoroughly sizing up his copy, who simply viewed his new-found sights with a twinkling gaze and an even more unbothered attitude.
“Is it just me—” Aayla leans next to your figure, her eyes fixated on the live footage from the Jedi Temple’s security feed. “—or is our new guest having a wind machine around him? Because you humans could take some hair care tips from him.”
You scowl, elbows propped up on the desk, as you watch the footage behind your intertwined fingers held together as tightly as your frown.
“Relax, Sky,” Aayla props an elbow on your stiff shoulder, “He gives off a good vibe. And plus, he’s definitely more attractive than—”
“Aayla!”
The agile Twi’lek proves herself as one of the best the Jedi Order has to offer as she flicks on the live footage faster than your attempts to take it away from her.
“Mon amie, this is literally out of a holo drama!” she giggles, switching off the footage under your sharp gaze. “It’s a sign from the Force itself to take your leap and get your man, or in this case, one version of the man!”
“Aayla, he belongs to another universe—”
“And you’re saying you haven’t been attracted to him?”
You freeze, and Aayla smiles.
Twi’leks weren’t humans, but were sure as hell kriffing good with their senses, so Aayla knew you were lying, and how much she was going to enjoy the day ahead.
Maker, why did I go for this job?
You silenced your mind — there’s a member of the kriffing Jedi Council in the same room as you and you’d feel much more comfortable knowing Master Kenobi had a visual on his enemies rather than the six hundred scenarios of you and Anakin in your mind.
Instead, you focused on your datapad, tapping on six different squares as Anakin answered your questions.
“—Anakin Skywalker, Jedi Knight, aged twenty-one Galactic Standard. Commanding officer of the Five Hundred and First Legion—”
“Currently on leave,” Master Kenobi remarked, stroking his beard.
“Yeah, but still, Obi-Wan, come on—”
“You’re really Anakin?”
You perked up at Ahsoka’s voice, who munched on a ronto wrap while perched on one of the desks.
“Yes,” the long-haired Anakin hummed. You’ve lost count at how many times Ahsoka has asked the question, and you’re pretty sure Master Kenobi, Rex and Cody have the same question swimming their head since yesterday. It’s only the constant patience that has persevered through the Order’s new guest that sets a guilty fire ablaze within your body — and it’s definitely from the way his voice never even fluctuates, just stays the smooth baritone, lower than the usual. It’s the same tone that your Anakin’s voice always has when he woke up to you working again late in the night, or he just strolled into your quarters wearing nothing but shorts and pressed himself against your back, his toned frame somehow slotting perfectly against your edges.
“But…” she tilted her head, her lekku twitching. “You look so mature.”
“Snips!” barked Anakin, shooting a sharp scowl toward Master Kenobi’s hacking laughter. Ahsoka shrugged, stuffing herself with more of her ronto wrap. Anakin’s long-haired copy softly pressed his twitching lips together. He caught your lingering gaze, and spread his lips into a smile, one that crinkled the edges of his twinkling eyes.
“How long is this going to take again?”
You snapped to a stiff, attentive posture as Anakin cleared his throat.
Master Kenobi sighed again. “Anakin, you must be patient—”
“—farmboy here smells like weed—”
“Anakin!”
“He’s not wrong.”
Anakin and Master Kenobi’s bickering ceases.
“What do you mean?”
He turns to you, and you internally slap yourself for suddenly becoming his center of attention. Not such a bad idea, but then—
“Are you…” Master Kenobi finds his voice again, bringing you back to the room again. “Are you not a Jedi, Anakin?”
There’s a slight crack in Master Kenobi’s voice, one that propels Ahsoka to stand next to him. The long-haired Anakin surveys the both of them, eyes softly squinted deep in thought, possibly pondering on how to break this brand new piece of information to a suddenly very fragile-looking old man and a dispirited young teenager.
The long-haired Anakin exhales. “I’m Anakin Skywalker, aged twenty-one Galactic Standard. I left the Jedi Order after I turned nineteen, and I’m a farmer—well, part-time mechanic, on Naboo.”
Your eyes widen, exchanging a surprised glance with Aayla.
“Master Kenobi, are you sure none of us are high?”
“Padawan,” chastised the Jedi, his shock secured tightly behind his shields. “I apologise, Anakin—I mean—”
“It’s alright, Obi-Wan.”
The long-haired Anakin waved his hands, and Obi-Wan visibly stiffens at the use of his name by a version of Anakin he should know but he doesn’t.
“You did train me, but I…” he scratched the back of his head, showing all teeth with a gentle, sheepish smile. “Things happened, and I made the choice to leave.”
You swore he looked at you; you were always looking at Anakin for some maker-forsaken reason or the other.
“And the war?”
Anakin turns to Cody and Rex, their military etiquette all thrown out the window.
“What war?”
The floor practically shifts with a lurch from the Force.
“You… you don’t have a war? The Clone Wars?”
He turns to you, and the world melts away as you look up at him, datapad clutched to your chest as a shield from him and from your simmering desperation.
The long-haired Anakin — you should definitely give him a name aside from his long hair — has a piercing gaze, one your Anakin looked at you everytime you looked up at him, your chin pressed to his chest, his arms around your waist as his nose crinkled with every laugh shared between you two about the stupidity of the Separtists’ battle droids.
“From all that I’ve been privy to," he swallows, his sharp apple jutting out even more prominently that it did. “The galaxy isn’t having the, uh, Clone Wars. We do have clones, but they work with the Jedi and provide humanitarian aid.”
“Captain Rex and Commander Cody work under Obi-Wan, who took on a young Togruta as his new padawan after I left,” he turns once again to Ahsoka, smiling. “I’m not General Skywalker, I’m just… Anakin.”
You blink, unable to process him. A part of you pushes that there’s a complete liar standing before you, a shapeshifter sent here to trick the Republic and distract the Consular who’s coincidentally working to counter their latest planet-killing superweapon. But the Anakin before you is as real as yours. He’s had a different life that you can’t help but wonder if you’re there
“Hypothetically speaking—” coughs Rex. “Can I sign up for multiversal travel?”
“Rex!”
“I don’t like this.”
“More than sand?”
Anakin rolls his eyes at Padmé, who gives him a laugh as she continues to type her latest proposal behind her desk.
His lithe legs propped upon the corner of her desk, Anakin crosses his arms together, replaying the exact moment where he felt your Force signature spring alive when his double looked at you.
He’d never elicited a similar reaction from you when he was there. All those moments holding you close, regaling you in his tales until you succumbed to sleep, feeling your heart against his and wishing it were just like this for eternity. It was torture having to stay away from you, to be called time and again to this siege and that battle when all he wanted was to wake up next to you and live the life that other people did when they loved each other in a way he had loved you since the two of you were sixteen.
He even felt embarrassed to voice this in front of the Chancellor, who had suspiciously kept on pestering him to great lengths to enquire about the reason for his distraction. Clearly, he’d been sloppy — even Obi-Wan had managed to pick up his emotions in the heat of the battle. He’d decided to stay away from the Temple, show his ‘interest’ in politics so that such a slip wouldn’t occur again though, that your position as a Jedi wouldn’t be compromised by his misery. Though, he thinks to himself, the emergence of his double from another dimension spelled trouble for him in both Basic and Huttese.
Damn father, he grumbled to himself.
“If you keep having that stupid, angry look on your face, I’m afraid Sabé would be more than happy to throw you out of my office.”
Anakin sighed. “I’m sorry, it’s just—” he stood up from his seat, pacing. “She likes him more! That peaceful, farming version of me over… me.”
Padmé turned her attention away from the blue screen, sincere pity softly twisting her lips.
“And you’re here, out of all places.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, I’m just saying,” she shrugged, her smile growing wider. “It’s a sign.”
Anakin hesitated, his stomach roiling with anxiety.
“Are you sure I should—?”
“If you don’t, I will.”
Anakin laughs. Hope blooming bright in his chest, he gives his childhood friend a grateful nod, and races out of the office.
Having receiving enough complaints about ‘seeing double’ of a certain Anakin Skywalker, Master Yoda explicitly commanded you to serve as the long-haired Anakin’s tour guide for the day, remarking a day away from the Temple ought to make him comfortable in his new universe — and reduce Master Windu’s migraines. Since you concomittantly had to visit the Senate Archives for business, you decided your new guest would accompany you to the prompt excursion to the laughing stock that was the Galaxy’s governing body.
Both of you had been loaned a speeder by the Jedi Council, to which the long-haired Anakin simply pointed a slender finger to a sleek, open-roofed speeder glinting under the spotlight of Coruscant’s artificial weather.
"That looks better, wouldn’t you think?” he grinned.
Maker, let the Force lend its might to you today to calm your fluttering heart. He wasn’t just glowing with happiness, you knew very well he was playing with you, and you’d be a fool to deny it wasn’t a good look on him.
So, with a begrudging sigh, you agreed, and headed straight for Dex’s Diner — an establishment he seemed quite familiar with.
“Ani!” Dex roared proudly, sweeping you and him in a hug before you even had a chance to look around for empty seats. “Look at how you’ve grown,” he said appraisingly as he drew back, “And what’s with the hair, eh? All dressed up for a date?”
“This—no—” you fervently shook your head, cheeks ablaze. “No, this isn’t a date—”
You glared pointedly at the long-haired Anakin — Ani — who softly cocked his brow. He seemed to decide with himself for a moment, and then spread his lips in a cocksure grin, the exact same your Anakin had in those holo-videos labelled ‘Hero with No Fear’ racking up views all over the galaxy.
“Last time I remember—”
He snakes his arm around your waist and pulls you next to his toned frame.
“—I did get a yes.”
“That was fun.”
Your disagreements lose to the quick beat of your heart, and you stab the scoopful of ice cream in your hands as you walk through the senate hallways. Leaving aside the fact that the trip to the archives was a monumental failure as you’d expected, you’d come as close as falling to the dark side to melt into a pool of a miserable puddle of your love and embarrassment.
“You’ll figure it out.”
You look up at him, realising the two of you have come to a stop in the middle of your footsteps.
“Whatever the enemy is planning, I’m sure you’ll foil their plans. I know it.”
He smiles, licking the ice cream off the corner of his lips and jutting the spoon in the air as if it were his lightsaber.
The confidence in his voice makes you wonder if he knew you. Not you, but a version of you in his universe.
What were you to this version of Anakin? Were you what Anakin was in your universe? The ‘Heroine with No Fear,’ or ‘The Jedi with No Fear,’ even if there was no war in his galaxy. Were you an acclaimed Jedi or a nobody from the backwater planet you belonged to?
Were you even someone he liked? With the manner you currently struggled to contain the depth of admiration you harboured for your Anakin, being lovers seemed out of the question. Were you at least his friend? Or, you gulped to yourself as your heart sunk low, were you dead?
“Consular Jedi.”
Your voice perked up at the entourage making way towards you, led by—
“Chancellor Palpatine!”
You offered the old man a short bow, which he returned to you with an amicable smile. His eyes roved over—
“Anakin, my dear boy,” his visage extended over to Ani; he let out a chuckle. “I must have caught you by surprise, son.”
You looked over to Ani, who had dropped his ice cream and the little wooden spoon on the floor, the hem of the Chancellor’s robes trailing with tiny chocolate chips.
He looked like a deer caught in the spotlight, except only a fool would describe him as a prey. No, he looked like the commander that Anakin always had been — alert, sharp, observant, and most of all, protective of his loved ones and his duty.
“Are you alright, my boy?”
The Chancellor’s eyes darted between the two of you, and you cleared your throat, wrapping your arm around Ani’s right one, shielding it entirely by your billowing robes.
“We were just coming back from the archives, Chancellor,” you cleared your throat. Feeling Ani tighten his grip around your arm, you continued. “Anakin thought to offer an extra set of hands in my search for a solution to the Separatists’ rumoured advantage.”
“Ah, of course,” the man nodded, interwining his bony fingers one over the other hand. “I must not hinder you, I suppose—Anakin, my boy, do come for a visit, will you? You seem to be avoiding me, though I now understand why.”
He shot a fatherly wink at Ani, who only seemed to stiffen even further, his arms balling into tight, iron-rod fists.
“Of course,” Ani found his voice, steel replacing his usual gentleness. “It was lovely meeting you but I’m afraid we must be on our way—”
Before you could even hear the old man’s professional toodle-oo, Ani simply tugged you by your arm and walked past the entourage, his long strides taking you to the far end of the Senate’s circular hallways within a blink of your eye. Reaching a destination guarateeing privacy, he looked around.
“Anakin, what—WHOA!”
You let out a grunt as your back slammed against the durasteel walls. He looks down at you, an apology flashing in his eyes, but the steel in his voice stops your protests.
“What the kark is that man doing here?”
Your eyebrows shoot up into your forehead, “What?”
You look at him through the Force; his sun is now an eclipse, shadowed by the foreboding storm and thunder.
“Anakin,” you gulp softly, gathering your courage, “He’s the Supreme Chancellor, what—what are you—”
You pause, your mind backpedalling to the events in your office.
“Things happened, and I made the choice to leave.”
He shifts in his feet just as your eyes widen.
“Sky.”
His arms wrap around your trembling figure, but you never leave his gaze.
“Sky, listen to me, it’s okay—”
“Why…” you cut in, failing to sound calm. “Why did you leave the Order?”
“Because I fulfilled my destiny.”
The storm within him dissolves with a wave of the seas within him. Your glare demands answers; his chest puts strain on the fibres of his beige shirt as he exhales sharply.
"I discovered the Sith that had been plaguing the Jedi and the Republic. It was…”
He lets out a bitter chuckle, the corners of his lips downturned.
“It was so ingenious, the way he had been doing it. Getting close to me ever since I was a child, preying on my fears, my insecurities. Deluding me into thinking I was going to be alone forever simply because I was different than the others, that I was born of no father and only a loving mother, that I was a child of the Force itself and as such, the Jedi viewed me as a threat.”
“But what he hadn’t seen coming, what even I hadn’t expected to gain was that I began to have people on my side. People who trained me and taught me that the Dark is never the option to take, because it takes and it takes from you and leaves you wanting more, it leaves you empty, as a shell of who you were. It leaves you alone and no one to go to. And I had people… people who pulled me back—”
He meets your gaze, blown open and vulnerable.
“—people who made me see reason, that my mind was being tipped in a direction that was not of my own making, but of the Sith who I had allowed to poison my mind since I was a child. Sky…”
He intakes a sharp breath.
“I am the Chosen One just as your Anakin is. And I did it. I fulfilled my destiny and stopped the return of the Sith.”
Ani holds your hands, pressing your palm to his chest. A tremor passes through your body, and he steadies your figure, wrapping his arm around your waist.
“Please, you must believe me. I can sense you care deeply for my variant in this universe, and he is in grave danger, Sky.”
Your mind flashes back to one of Master Yoda’s classes, where he had droned in his wise way how the Force made itself known to warn its believers that life itself was in grave danger; it was a warning, a shadow, an event, something or the other that shook the defenders into of their senses and prompted them to act for the betterment of the survival of the Galaxy — and for your own good.
You had felt the Force the first time when Master Windu had arrived to your village years ago, offering his hand to enter the world of the Jedi. The Force had given a warm nudge for you to take his hand and take the chance; you had taken it.
You had felt the Force the second time when you met Anakin Skywalker, nine years old, young and shy, and terribly homesick for the embrace of his mother’s arms. The Force had giggled, and you had decided, fate or not, that you would bring a smile to his forlorn face.
You had felt the Force the third time when you were on Geonosis, standing the arena with your master, saber ignited as Anakin let out a joyous cheer, joining you back-to-back as you both tore through droid after droid in the relentless carnage. The Force, triumphant, had melded the two of you as one machine, as one competently-built Corellian freighter tearing apart the enemy.
The present moment is when you feel the Force again, screaming. You see death and blood, corpses of younglings and clone soldiers strewn on the floors of the Jedi Temple. But Anakin’s there, and you see hope, you see a future with laughing children and the galaxy, alive than you’ve ever felt it to be.
The Force holds its breath, and despite what the Jedi Code said, you’ve never chosen to ignore life.
You steel yourself and look up at him, determined.
“I believe you.”
His gaze widens, and the temperature around you shoots up, charged.
But it isn’t coming from the Anakin front of you, rather from a few feet away from the both of you.
You meet the dark look on your Anakin’s face, his armor glinting in the pale, sterile Coruscanti sunlight.
You haven’t even blinked, but he’s next to you in mere six steps, Ani’s hurling toward the ground, and you’re in Anakin’s arms, warm, cold, safe and scared.
“Anakin.”
He looks down at you, and he melts.
“It’s okay, he wasn’t doing anything wrong.”
You turn to Ani, who’s now on his feet, his stance as same as your Anakin.
“We need to leave,” he states to his armoured copy, stark.
“He’s right,” you turn back to Anakin, “We’re in danger, Anakin, the Chancellor is the Sith—”
“What?!”
He recoils, looking back and forth between him and you.
“Sky, he’s messing with you, don’t listen to him—”
“Are you serious?” scoffs Ani, balling his hands into tight fists.
“You’re the one to talk—”
The sky suddenly turns dark, lights blinking awake in the buildings outside. Clouds fog the tallest skyscrapers, crackling with blue lightning.
The floor beneath you trembles, and you look at the end of the hallway.
There’s a man in a dark robe that you could’ve mistaken for a statue. But his eyes are a burning yellow that remind you of the flames of your Master’s funeral pyre.
The hooded figure bristles, and you can feel his sickly smile on your skin, feel the two Anakins next to you tense as the cold finally settles on their shoulders.
The name shouldn’t click in your head, but it does.
“Sidious.”
Silence rings in your ears.
“On three,” whispers Ani.
His fingers grasp yours and, from the corner of your eyes, Anakin holds your left hand as delicate his shock and anger can allow his metal arm to be.
“One, two—”
You take toward the window.
“—three.”
CRASH !
The air r i p s with a violent blue and purple, and glass tears at your clothes as the air whips at your face and you freefall against the cold steel and stabbing rain.

MODERN OBI-WAN KENOBI BOYF HC
I haven’t ever done a head cannon post but with how busy / lazy I’ve been I might post more of these, they’re a lot of fun. probably one for Bucky and Luke skywalker. If you want any other characters just lmk! Make sure to check my request post!
warning: nsfw content (labeled so if you want to skip you totally can)
tea guy, like, it’s crazy. has so many drawers full of boxes and bags. always making you tea to fit whatever mood you’re in
landscaper or teacher, or both. I imagine him teaching younger kids but probably wishes to be a professor of some sort, maybe teaching environmental science.
just really likes plants and flowers but sometimes gets tired of having to craft and trim everything to be perfect so he thoroughly enjoys natural nature and the “overgrown’ aesthetic
Adding onto that, loves to hike, always takes you with and nerds out about the scenery and views.
definitely fosters dogs from the local shelter and takes them on hikes to help leash train them.
unintentionally a pretentious little prick
circle lens glasses and turtle neck combo 24/7
And of course you steal his sweaters ALL THE TIME
Smells like citrus, grass and rain. the warm sun rays and vanilla
Always watching some documentary, or the history channel.
All your friends lowkey want him because he’s. That Guy.
Whenever he blushes it goes straight to his nose, ears and neck.
Frequent at most coffee shops in town so when he started to bring you around it was a big deal for the workers lol, so much gossip. And mild disappointment from the staff knowing obi wan was official taken
Probably hates small talk, finds it tedious and shallow
The most supportive boyfriend in the world, he’s always the first person there to cheer you on
When you started dating him, his cousin/best friend, Anakin, came as a packaged deal. The younger one frequently trailing behind obi wan and now, as you’ve got too closer, you as he’s become a younger brother figure to you.
Not jealous at all, he’s very secure in your relationship and his trust in you is crazy strong. finds it quite amusing when men hit on you in front of him and kinda just lets you play it out.
That is unless you become uncomfortable, he mostly lets you stand up for yourself but if it becomes overbearing he definitely won’t hesitate to cause a small scene.
A big runner and boxer, you’re used to having to help his knuckles heal up from long sessions. As well as joining him on early morning runs if he can get you up and out of bed for it.
He loves art and mostly drew and painted landscapes but after meeting you this sketch book began to fill of pictures of you from every angle possible.
So naturally put together all the time it makes you insecure sometimes
Obviously, obi wan is the best at easing those insecurities. He always notices when you’re feeling off, sometimes even before yourself, so quick to embrace you and whisper exactly what you need to hear.
Another thing, so good with his words??? He always tell you what you need to hear, there’s rarely ever any miscommunication between the two of you because of this and even when they’re are, arguments are not common.
Crazy sarcastic, will say the funniest shit ever with the most monotone face and it just makes it 100% times funnier.
Really likes Taylor swift and David Bowie
Always getting you bouquets of flowers, even arranges them himself sometimes.
“This reminded me of you.”
Such a safe and non-judgemental aura, you’d struggle with asking for help or learning new / seemingly ‘common sense’ things with past relationships in fear of seeming dumb but you feel so safe around obi-wan that those thoughts never cross your mind, always learning new things from him and enjoying how helpful and supportive he is.
Definitely an impala driver, either 40s Chevy impala or the very sleek and fancy 2020 impala premier, probably black and rarely dirty
Not the biggest cuddler in the world but really enjoys naps together, will drape an arm over you but he tends to move around in his sleep so he’s just content with sleeping besides you rather than wrapping limbs
But when he is in the mood to cuddle, it’s mostly on the couch when you decides to binge shitty reality television. He’s usually on his back and you’re laying ontop of his stomach with your ear to his chest
You two constantly binge dating reality shows, always criticizing the other couple and mostly men LOL.
“He did not just say that! Maker, you would have broke up with me then and there.” “Damn right I would.”
You trace all the moles and freckles along his body, obi wan definitely had a skin care routine and moisturizes so I imagine his skin is always so soft
NSFW!
really likes nudes, like the grainy MacBook camera pictures with a matching cute set type nudes (iykyk). Hot and slightly artistic, his favorite.
Doesn’t like porn though, never enjoyed it and it never really got him off, doesn’t like the morals of it either
Also sexting, not his thing. He’s usually more on the serious end when it comes to intimacy but he cannot take sexting seriously LMAOO
lowkey the type to come home from a long day of work and look you in the eye with That Look and you just know what he needs
Thigh guy, the type to take breaks from eating you out by just resting his head fully on your inner thigh and just gaze up at you
Sir / master kink
Will jokingly come up behind you when you’re in the kitchen or something and press his groin to your behind
Just a little tease overall, always doing shit like that and acting all innocent about it
VERY VERY vocal during sex (cough, cough, shallow graves ending scene, COUGH)

Confessions {Qui-Gon Jinn x Reader}
approx. 1,000 words
Summary: You and Anakin blow off some steam by getting drunk together. When you return back for the night you are greeted by Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan Kenobi who insist you get to bed. As Qui-Gon prepares you to sleep, he hears your drunken confessions; of love and insecurities.
Warnings: F! reader, insecurities, drunkenness, (Anakin and reader are in their 20s), reader and Anakin are platonic, angst, 18+
As you return back to the grounds from your impulsive bar hopping with Anakin, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon are the first people you see. Disappointment is clearly written all over their faces, since two of their best Jedis are coming home past curfew and three sheets to the wind.
"sshhhh Ani, someone could hear us," you giggle out whisper yelling as he trips over his feet like a new born giraffe.
"Sorry, which way do we go," he asked with a tilted head, not sure if he could recognize the corridors in the dark.
"This way, follow m-" you started as you turned left but were cut off by the strong chest of Master Qui-Gon who was just around the corner.
Behind Qui-Gon was Obi-Wan, who could not hold back his giddiness. He wasn't angry at your antics. He loved that you and Anakin were acting like normal young people but had to put on a poker face for Qui-Gon as he handed down punishments.
Your cheeks were flush, scarlet with embarrassment for getting caught by someone you respected so highly. You were always trying to please Qui-Gon. It was an unspoken truth that you were his favorite padawan; because of your discipline in learning the ways of the force and in the longing glances you both exchanged over the past many months.
Qui-Gon's piercing gaze fixes on Anakin, and then shifts to you, his brow furrowing as he detects something beneath the surface. He knew that bar hopping wasn't your idea. Anakin was corrupting the sweet girl beside him, and Qui-Gon was not going to stand for it.
"Anakin, Obi-Wan will escort you back to your quarters," Qui-Gon ordered, putting an end to the night's activities. "And you," he turned and lowered his gaze to your sheepish figure, "come with me."
You nod in comply and Qui-Gon gently takes you by the hands, leading you to your bedroom. Yawning the whole way there, Qui-Gon's anger fades into protectiveness, just wanting to make sure you don't hurt yourself and sleep off as much as you can of what will be a massive hangover.
He shuts the door quietly, as to not startle you with any loud sounds and sees you struggling to remove your tunic. Your arms are stuck three quarters of the way out and the twisting of your shoulders isn't making the fabric roll up your back as you hoped it would.
"hhmph! Qui, could you help me, pretty pleasssssse," you slur out to him for assistance. He doesn't want to risk any impropriety but seeing you struggle was enough to throw all of the norms out the window.
"Relax your arms," he said, reaching for the hem of the shirt to pull over your head. Free from the straight jacket tunic, you stood before him in your lilac lace bra.
He let out a shallow breath as he looked down at you, remarking to himself how soft and cuddly your skin appears to be, and the way the lace of the bra seems to be painted on your breasts, fitting perfectly to the swell of your chest.
In no time flat you have removed your bottoms and exposed you cheeky bum to him, clad in lilac panties, matching your bra.
Oblivious to the tension of the situation, since your mentor is a foot away from your practically naked form you ask, "would you tuck me in?"
He nods, and follows you to the edge of the bed. He watches you cuddle into the silky soft sheets and nuzzle up to your pillow. Qui-Gon loosely drapes the blanket around your form and shift to get up as you reach for his wrist.
"Is there something else you need of me?" he asked, thinking you would ask for another blanket or for a glass of water.
You hesitate, feeling a wave of insecurity wash over you. "Can you… stay? Just for a little while? Just to talk?"
"What is it you would like to talk about?" he inquired, knowing you already confide in him as a mentor for your Jedi training. For some reason he could sense that this would be a different kind of conversation.
"Qui-Gon?" you say barely a whisper.
"Yes?" he replies, his gaze fixed on you with unwavering attention.
"Am… am I pretty?" you ask, your voice tinged with uncertainty.
"What?" Qui-Gon's brow furrows in confusion. "Of course, you are," he says, his tone leaving no room for doubt. "You are beautiful, both inside and out."
Tears fell at the corners of your eyes as Qui-Gon's words wash over you, colliding with some of the negative feelings of your own body's image in your mind. The alcohol had gotten the best of your emotions.
"Then why… why don't boys like me?" you whisper, your voice trembling with emotion. "I mean, I try to be nice and friendly but no body seems to look at me. Like I train, and I train, and I train but I am still soft and nervous around people. I feel like this is a never ending cycle of disappointment. I'm too ugly for my own good."
You end your rant with a heavy heart and a long silent pause. You slowly lift your head from where it is on your pillow to see if Qui-Gon left. Instead, his gaze meets yours with a flicker of angry passing through his eyes.
"They are complete fools," he said passionately. "They fail to see you for your truest form. You tower over them in intellection, and float by them with elegance and grace."
"But Qui-" you sit up and raise your hand to stop him but he continues.
"No, you should never feel less than because these dumb boys don't see what I see in you."
For the first time in a long while, you allow yourself to believe that maybe, just maybe, you are worthy of love.
"I'm sorry for getting so worked up. Its time to rest now," he says, settling in next to you in bed, sat up, and rubbing your back soothingly over the covers.
You welcome the feeling of his hands and of his warmth radiating over the entire bed.
"Thank you," you whisper to him as you drift of to sleep.
Of course, starlight. I want you to feel loved. I will always be here for you.

Double Padawans // Obi-Wan Kenobi Headcanon
masterlist | oneshots
Obi-Wan was assigned Y/N before he told the Council he would be teaching Anakin. to say his job was going to be more challenging, was an understatement
Anakin and Y/N were always trying to one-up one another, and it wasn’t until their teenage years they became friends
She could fit into places and get in with missions that he couldn’t because of his gender, which she saw as an advantage in being the better Padawan
Obi-Wan was like a father to both of them, especially since he literally adopted orphans, he took his role proudly
“What did I say about sticking together? There is a reason we have rules, Y/N. And you Anakin, I told you not to freelance on missions. Both of you could’ve been seriously injured. I’d rather not go through the grief of losing my Padawans.”
Obi-Wan definitely had this speech with them many times
training was interesting. Obi divided the week into three sections: training one-on-one with Anakin, training one-on-one with Y/N, and training together. when they weren’t training, they were meditating and sparing with other Padawans
Obi-Wan had a special place in his heart for both of them. at least once a month they’d go on a lunch run, just the three of them like a little family. They used to say “a bond that will never be broken”
Anakin and Y/N became like brother and sister, best friends that could never part, that made Obi-Wan’s heart swell
doesn’t mean they still went at it like children fighting sometimes
missions were especially a sight to see. every mission had to be a theatrical performance to confuse their opposer
whenever a senator’s daughter was in danger, they always put in Y/N as the stand-in. Obi-Wan hated it, but it became so routine that Anakin and Y/N would make fun of it.
they did this stance when fighting major generals or Sith lords where Obi was in the middle posing, Anakin to his right posing, and Y/N on his left posing
it was funny as well because no matter what they did this banter while fighting, making snide remarks, or just being a smart ass
when things went wrong during a mission and either Y/N or Anakin got hurt, Obi-Wan blamed himself. he never wanted to see any of them hurt or in danger
when Anakin got his arm cut off, Obi and Y/N didn’t leave his side until he was sure to be okay with his new arm
it goes against the Jedi Order, and Obi-Wan knew it, but he would kill anyone for Anakin and Y/N, and they would for him as well
he sure did know how to raise them smart asses, cause whenever they stood in front of the council, one of them had to say something
like every single time. it pissed off Master Windu constantly, but they didn’t stop. of course, Obi-Wan had to sit pinching the bridge of his nose, embarrassed by their shit
when both Anakin and Y/N graduated to Jedi Knight and eventually Master, Obi-Wan was at both ceremonies, screaming and clapping the loudest. he was a proud papa of his two padawans
“You are strong and wise, Anakin and Y/N. And I am very proud of you. You both are a far greater Jedi than I could ever hope to be. I love you both.”

I read your sithspawn Obi-Wan au and I can't stop laughing it's so good 10/10. All I can think of is Qui-Gon walking in to find Obi-Wan staring at a wall being like "I can't tell if I got drugged or if I can see in UV now." and Qui-Gon not being sure if he should laugh or rush him to the healing halls. Or Anakin looking at old pictures of Obi-Wan and seeing more and more features show up as he gets older and Anakin being just so confused. Or what Cody's reaction to that would be.
I hope you're having a great day (your fics are great)
<3 cheers anon, I'm glad you like it! (and my other fics) but also l m a o yes 100%, obi-wan is always very casual with the 'so I might be dying or this is a fun new trick I can do now, 50/50 odds' and qui-gon always reacts with hahaFUCK. They get very familiar with the healers. There is talk of putting in a special code for the door, given how often master jinn has come bursting in, carrying his padawan over one shoulder, then flung him at the nearest bio-bed for scanning for some new exotic poison/allergy/weird reaction. (on the other hand, padawan kenobi is possibly the best vaccinated being in the temple, under the assumption that his genetics are so goddamn weird he might as well get the shots for mon cala mumps, montral pox, correlian bantha flu, and furred dropsy.)
There is at least several missions where they both get to play 'which of these cups/meals is poisoned' where the answer is either: a)neither (qui-gon is just Allergic to Random Local Ingredient); b)both (obi-wan is immune to Random Local Poison); c)One But Not The Other (which realistically is 'qui-gon's is poisoned; obi-wan's isn't', because if obi-wan's is poisoned it's basically the same as if neither is poisoned and qui-gon's not allergic to random local ingredient)
Anakin 100% sees holos of baby-wan and is like who tf is this random human kid?????? he does Not believe it's obi-wan until someone puts together a slideshow of like, here's babywan with teeny tiny claws. here's babywan with slightly bigger claws. here's babywan when he started growing his first set of horns! here's babywan--
(even then he is a bit doubt.jpg until the day obi-wan picks him up from baby jedi class and his pupils have changed shape or something.)
Cody is fine and cool about this. he is absolutely not stressed out that his jedi is of a species he doesn't recognise (even after delegating some slicers to traul the holonet about it) and is also best described as having a diet of 'yeah whatever'. he's totally fine that his jedi will run up a wall and skitter across a roof hanging by his claws. it's fine. this is fine. the man is a walking talking force powered radar dish that can see infra red and ultra violet and tracks things by scent as well as the undrana beasts the retreival corps use, it's fine, this is fine, he's can fit another antenna or radar or sensor on somewhere, there's space on his left bracer maybe.
#coats chats#slutspawn stewjoni#obi-wan is the nightmare of literally anyone who studies infections tho.#you want to watch the soul leave a healer's body imply that kenobi might be infected with anything at all contagious#that man is walking talking potential patient zero for like#every possible cross species plague. ever.#you want to see what nabooian flu does to a twi'lek? obi-wan could make that happen#anytime he goes to the healers for illness (which. thankfully. happens only once.)#they're on full biohazard lock down for his room. that man could spread anything to anyone.#and CATCH anything from anyone.

More than friends
Hi! Here I come with a new request for my Comeback Event! This was requested by @karasong : “hi carole! nice to see you're back, hun. may i please request obi-wan kenobi w/ coworkers au & almost kissing (to actually kissing) for your comeback event? thank you!! 💐💗 »
Thank you so much for your request! It does feel good to be back indeed :)
I hope you like what I’ve prepared for your request.
Let me know what you think of this little fic :)
****
Pairing: Obi-Wan x reader
Warnings: Just fluff!! Shy Obi-Wan is very cute and dear to me. Also, made it a modern AU! cause it fit better with the coworkers vibes to me.
Summary: You and Obi-Wan have been coworkers and friends for a while. But when a barbecue is planned by your firm, you get a chance to take your relationship to the next level…
Word count: 2411
Obi-Wan enjoyed having some alone time, he genuinely did. If he got along just fine with his coworkers, he still preferred the quiet and peace of his office for lunch, rather than the busy and noisy hall of the cafeteria.
It was almost noon, and as usual, Obi-Wan shut down his computer to take his lunch break. He got up from his chair behind his desk to grab the bag he had brought with him in the morning, that rested for now on the little table in the corner of his small office. He had prepared for himself a simple salade, vegetables and chicken. Simple but effective and healthy. All he needed to get through another long day at work. He sat down at his small table, took the Tupperware out of the bag along with his fork and knife, and grabbed his phone.
He didn’t eat though.
He scrolled through social media without paying much attention to what his screen displayed; instead, he kept an eye on the clock set up there, on the wall.
12:15. Only a few minutes to wait.
He eyed his meal, feeling his stomach grumbled, but didn’t open the little box before him. Instead, he mindlessly looked at his phone again. Only a few minutes to wait.
And he was right about that. Only a couple of minutes later, the door of his office was opening, without the bother of a knock.
He welcomed you with a warm smile.
“Hi Obi!” you chimed, closing the door behind you and sitting down at your usual spot, right next to him around his small circular table.
“Hello, Y/N.”
He gave you a warm smile, opening his lunchbox as you did the same with your own meal.
He noticed that your potatoes were warm, a little bit of steam rose from your lunchbox. It explained why you arrived after 12:10. You had to go downstairs to use the microwave, and then go all the way back up to the offices to eat with him. The thought of you purposefully coming back from the cafeteria to eat with him brought a smile to his face, but he didn’t say anything about it.
Better not.
“How was your morning?” he asks, his voice soft and calm, quiet, as it always was when he talked to you.
“Quite crazy,” you answered with a sigh. “With the summer holidays approaching, I have tons of things to finish so I can leave the office in peace for my well-earned vacation.”
“Same,” Obi-Wan nodded. “I heard that Anakin was struggling as well.”
“Anakin is always struggling. He’s too messy not to.”
Obi-Wan let out a chuckle, almost choking on his piece of bell pepper.
“That is quite true. I did do my best to mentor him though,” he heaved a dramatic sigh, and it was your time to laugh.
“He’s just beyond hope at this point.”
“Do you think you’ll be done by the end of the week?”
You shrugged.
“I hope so. If not, all these files will have to patiently wait for my return.”
Obi-Wan seemed to hesitate for a moment. He looked at you, weighing his options. He was apprehensive for your answer, yet he wanted to know.
But then again, he was often a little nervous around you. He blamed his long-lasting crush on you for that.
“Are you going to the barbecue on Friday night?” he asked at last, trying to sound nonchalant.
You studied his features for a moment, trying to guess what he intended to do. Truth was, you didn’t particularly enjoy extra-activities involving your coworkers. Sure, there were some you got along with quite well, Anakin was a good example. But then you would rather just gather with the few colleagues you genuinely liked, rather than to attend a big gathering involving the entire firm.
However… if Obi-Wan was going, then you were not completely against the idea. You blamed your long-lasting crush on him for that.
You shrugged, trying to sound as detached as you could, as if the topic didn’t matter to you. It mattered though, you had been thinking about this event for weeks…
“Probably, yes. I think so. Unless all the people I actually like will be absent, but otherwise, I think I’ll go.”
Obi-Wan nodded, trying to hide the smile that fought to form on his lips.
“Me too. I think I’ll go. It will probably be boring but… it’s for the firm. Besides, Anakin is going, and someone has to make sure he doesn’t get into too much trouble.”
You looked at him eating a piece of salad, but didn’t miss the sudden blush that had appeared on his cheeks, despite his cool appearance, his relaxed tone.
For the firm? You weren’t so sure about that.
When you planted your fork in your potato again, listening to Obi-Wan telling you about his weekend, you were grinning.
It was sunny and warm and a little boring.
Events organized by your firm always were boring, but then, it came with the fact that it was work-related. You couldn’t fully let loose and be yourself in these circumstances. You couldn’t allow yourself to be tipsy when your boss was a few meters away.
It wasn’t too bad though. The weather was nice, the barbecue was good, and Obi-Wan was by your side.
He was laughing with Anakin, shaking his head disapprovingly as the young man told you about a reckless trek he was planning across the mountains.
“If you do fall into a crevasse, please, make sure not to call me for help,” Obi-Wan warned his friend, rolling his eyes.
“What makes you think I’ll need help?”
“The last seven years? Ever since we’ve met, basically. You do have a talent to get into trouble, no matter what you are doing.”
“You’re exaggerating.”
“Absolutely not.”
You couldn’t help but chuckle at your friends’ playful banter. These two were like brothers, bickering as much as they could.
You took a bite from your hot-dog, looking around. People were separated in small groups, talking casually, although all kept an eye out to make sure no eavesdroppers were around. It was, all in all, a strange atmosphere that you didn’t like very much.
Anakin was called by another colleague and left you alone with Obi-Wan.
You noticed that he was more nervous than usual. Which was a strange look to find on his features. He was always so calm, so composed. Sometimes, it made it hard to read his mind. Still, you noticed the slight frown across his brow, as well as the way he held his glass of orange juice tightly in his hand.
Obi-Wan was hesitating. He had bought these tickets to see a play next week. He wanted to ask you to go with him… as a date.
He reckoned that the two of you had been playing this game of hide and seek long enough, it was more than time for him to finally make a move. Because, the truth was, he liked you. A lot. An awful lot. Actually… he didn’t merely like you at all...
But how could he ask? You were friends, and coworkers. It made everything complicated.
He had to try though.
“Do you have plans for your well-earned holidays?” he asked, trying to sound detached and nonchalant.
“Seeing my parents. And sleeping. A lot,” you joked, making him chuckle. “What about you?”
“Sleeping does sound awfully tempting. Although, I do have a few plans with friends and… things of the kind. Actually… I wanted to ask you…”
But Obi-Wan was interrupted by your boss, as she called for everyone to gather together to play some kind of game.
Obi-Wan and you exchanged a glance.
“Why do I feel like you are not ready to volunteer for this fun activity?” you teased him, although you didn’t particularly want to join the game either.
“Because you know me well by now, obviously.”
“You should play…”
“Absolutely not. I am not five anymore.”
“Why don’t we escape then?”
He gave you a fond smile, nodding.
You managed to run away from the party, walking across the patch of grass near your office building. You were aiming for the parking lot, the loud sounds of your colleagues slowly diminishing as you walked away.
It was quieter now, as the setting sun bathed the world in a golden hue. Its reflection on the cars was blinding.
“What did you want to ask me earlier?” you finally broke the comfortable silence that had settled between the two of you.
You were crossing the parking lot, but none of you was eager to part. You passed before Obi-Wan’s car, then yours, and didn’t stop walking until you reached a low wall made of red bricks. You sat on the edge, and Obi-Wan leaned against it as well, right by your side. You had both left your drinks at the party. The sounds of the gathering could barely reach you now. It was late, and at the back of the parking lot, there was no one. Behind you, the small street was empty as well.
“Oh… just… I…”
He took a deep breath. Why was he so nervous? He wasn’t the kind to be nervous…
But then, he was talking to you, and you had a special talent to mess up with his entire world in the best way possible.
“I’ve bought some tickets to go see a play next week,” he finally said, struggling to keep his calm voice.
“Exciting!”
“I was wondering if you would like to go with me… maybe…”
“Oh! That would be nice, yes!”
He gave you a smile, but he knew that you did not fully understand what he meant. He could see it in your eyes. You didn’t take his question as an offer for a date, but for a friendly activity.
He shook his head.
“Maybe we could go to a restaurant before that.”
You slightly frown at him, but nodded anyway.
“Sure, that would be nice.”
“Y/N?”
“Yes.”
“I mean… I’m asking this… not simply as a coworker. Do you understand?”
You looked at him warily.
“As a friend?” you slowly asked, cautious.
Your heart jumped, skipped a beat and burst under your ribs when he shook his head.
“No… I meant… as more than a friend.”
He looked away, setting his eyes on the tip of his brown shoes. He couldn’t stand it anymore, the way you stared at him… as if you longed to read right through him…
“If… if you don’t want to, of course, then… we can simply forget it happened at all. I… I would never ask you anything like this ever again. After all, we do work together and it could make things more complicated and…”
“Obi-Wan?”
He fell silent, looking up at you again.
You gave him a warm smile.
“I’d love to go with you. As… more than friends.”
You grinned at each other.
And as he stared at you, he couldn’t help but study every detail of your features. Couldn’t help but stare at your lips, and he barely noticed the way he leaned down towards them, it was like he was falling and couldn’t help it at all. Stronger than gravity, he couldn’t escape from it…
You didn’t stop him. As you saw him leaning towards you, you didn’t stop him. Instead, you actually tilted up your head to face him even more, to get your lips closer to his…
His hand slowly moved upwards so he could rest his fingertips along your jaw, and you shuddered at the feeling, delightful shivers running up your spine under his touch.
You closed your eyes as his breath fanned across your mouth…
But you both jumped as a loud laughter came breaking the tensed silence that had settled around you. You put some distance between the two of you, the moment broken. You looked in the direction of the laugh, and found a pair of your coworkers, a little inebriated, who were crossing the parking lot and thus walking towards the two of you, probably aiming for the bus stop a few meters down the adjacent street. You cleared your voice and stood up.
“I think I should go home, I’m rather tired.”
Obi-Wan nodded, and you didn’t fail to notice how flushed his cheeks were.
The two coworkers ignored you, and you didn’t mind at all. You were happy to simply walk towards your car with Obi-Wan by your side.
He brushed his fingers against yours, and you did the same, but didn’t hold hands. Still, the gentle, almost shy touch made your hearts jump.
You crossed the few meters separating you from your car, and you spoke again as you were looking for your keys in the pocket of your jeans.
“When is the play, then?”
“Next Wednesday.”
“Okay. That sounds fun.”
“I hope it will be. I… I am very happy you accepted to come.”
You exchanged a shy smile, and Obi-Wan opened your car door for you. You thanked him, resting a hand on the top of the door.
“Good night, Y/N.”
But just as you were about to sit in your car, you turned to him again, staring right into his blue eyes. You studied the two colourful orbs, a few strands of his dark blonde hair falling before them as he was a little dishevelled after a long day.
Your eyes travelled down from his cheekbones, to his cheeks covered by a short beard, to his pink lips. And you couldn’t resist…
Before he could say anything else, you were pressing your lips against his in a kiss.
It was still a little shy, and lasted just long enough for him to realize what was happening and react by kissing you back. Just a few seconds, just enough to make you both breathless. When you pulled away, he leaned further to chase after your lips.
He looked a little stunned when he opened his eyes, and you couldn’t refrain a satisfied grin.
“Well… good night then, Obi-Wan.”
You climbed in your car, and he closed the door behind you. He waved at you as you started the car and finally drove out of the parking lot.
Obi-Wan though, remained for a while standing there, as night was slowly falling upon the world, the party finally dying out.
When he walked to his car, at last, he was grinning like an idiot.

20 Question Fic Writer Tag
1.) How many works do you have on ao3?
19, soon to be 20! ( three are just little prompt fills/drabbles that I’ve considered removing but also – I want to be able to find them again just in case they ever turn into something more so.)
2.) What's your ao3 word count?
306, 375
3.) What fandoms do you write for?
Star Wars. That’s it, and probably all it will ever be (except for my crazy crossover aus). It’s a full time job over here.
4.) What are your top five fics by kudos?
DX:Lovesick (I had a really weird moment when this passed PIP in the kudos count. Like, I love it and was really proud of it, but also: how dare it). Anakin is an accident prone college student who winds up in the care of one very hot Dr. Obi-Wan Kenobi
Pining in Preschool: My first ever fic (started exactly one year ago!) Anakin is trying his best to be a good dad to his twins, and that probably means he shouldn’t be falling for their preschool teacher.
Hide Here Often: This is bottom Obi-Wan smutty one shot
Helicopter Dad: This is a continuation of Pining in Preschool: 4 times that Anakin was a Helicopter parent and one time Obi-Wan beat him to it. I’ve been intending to do a part two with Obi-Wan ever since, but it hasn’t happened yet.
With a Cherry on Top: This is a ridiculous continuation of Pining in Preschool – Obi-Wan and Anakin get in a fight about eating in bed that results in a sex ban until one of them backs down. Spoiler alert: it ends with a sexy food in bed scenario because *of course* if they break they have to prove a point about it
5.) Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I try to always yes. I used to have a 100% track record, and I really wish I was maintaining it. Comments are my lifeblood. I literally cannot tell you how important receiving comments is to me, it’s like, a problem honestly, and so it’s definitely something I want to encourage. I try to always respond to a comment at least as an acknowledgement of “I appreciate you were here and took the time to let me know you liked this”. BUT also I genuinely love engaging about my fics and am more than happy to go on my “Author’s Commentary” spiel at any given moment.
Life’s kind of been shit lately, and I’ve had a hard time if I don’t respond to comments right away as they come in they get lost in my inbox. Also. ADHD.
6.) What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
OoOoOo Window AU – to be revealed tomorrow. I don’t have the ending for Criminal Minds fully written, but even though it might be a “happy ending” it’s not going to be a happy ending, if you know what I mean. OH BUT if I ever write my post order 66 Obi-Wan on Tatooine vague idea for which the working title is “Obi-Wan Sads”. Yeah. That will probably be the worst.
7.) What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Hmm. Pining for Preschool probably. It ends on a very high note, although also it’s not really an ending because I continued it into a potentially never ending series that seems to be 90% fluff after the angst I put them through in the original fic.
Also Center Stage (dance au)was a happy ending for sure.
8.) Do you get hate on fics?
No, generally all my comments are very positive. There was a weird moment in DX:Lovesick where I wasn’t necessarily getting the hate but Obi-Wan was, and he was getting a lot of it. I wasn’t upset by the comments so much as I was worried that I didn’t write well/clear enough to convey the situation as I thought I was, but I settled on people are going to read their own situations into stories and interpret it differently than intended and that’s okay.
9.) Do you write smut? If so what kind?
Yes. The Obi-Wan and Anakin kind.
10.) Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
I had a fit of insanity and wrote an Obikin Titanic au.
11.) Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I hope not. That would be sad
12.) Have you ever had a fic translated?
I don’t think so no
13.) Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
Nope! I think I have too much anxiety to commit to doing this, even with the right people. Put expectations on things and I just…can’t.
14.) What's your all time favorite ship?
IDK man. Kovu and Kiara from Lion King II: Simba’s Pride
15.) What's a WIP you'd like to finish, but doubt you ever will?
Right at the time I started writing PiP I started a time travel (?) au that resulted in amnesiac Knight Skywalker as master to padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi right when he rejoins the order after returning from Melida/Daan, instead of rejoining Qui-Gon. I would be shocked if I ever get back to thin, I really jumped the gun and there’s so much of it I don’t have in me, but…there’s still something about it that calls to me.
16.) What are your writing strengths?
I always feel super awkward answering this, but I feel pretty good about capturing Obi-Wan and Anakin’s voices, especially their internal voices (if that makes sense) so that they still feel like them in other universes
17.) What are your writing weaknesses?
Oh gosh. I am learning as I go. Outlining/having a plan and sticking to it vs. just winging it as I go along. Knowing where paragraphs should start and end – which feels like you should just *know* but I don’t. Descriptions.
18.) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
Great! But I’m not fluent enough in anything to do it
19.) First fandom you wrote for?
Star Wars – Hiiiii!
Also, though, the only other stuff I wrote was Star Wars but the year was 2005 and it was for an audience of one (me!). Your Pal was a nerd who carried around a little notebook and wrote down every piece of jedi wisdom and quotes I encountered while I wrote about Obi-Wan and his OC apprentice who was *definitely*not*me* (their name was literally an anagram of my name lol) on their long term undercover mission on Earth, among other things.
20.) Favorite fic you've ever written?
This varies by the mood. I genuinely love Pining in Preschool, and it will always have a really special place in my heart. Dx:Lovesick was a very fun ride, I really and truly enjoyed writing it and I feel like it holds up. Right now I’m pretty attached to Criminal Minds, for a completely different dynamic and take on obikin.
No pressure tag to @renlyslittlerose and @grapenehifics

Character ask game meme!
And because I recently saw him on your dash and I love him….
Obi-wan Kenobi 👀
Orrrr if that’s too obscure dm me and I will send another!!! 🥰😎
Oh nothing too obscure about Obi-wan! I grew up with the prelogy. Saw all three of them in the theaters! Then even the postlogy. I have a pretty neutral opinion on Star Wars as a whole, but I am fairly knowledgeable (I've seen all the movies and almost all the live series). And while I'm not fannish about SW, I do like Ewan McGregor very much ;-)
one aspect about them i love
He looks like Ewan McGregor? LOL (for most of his life, as least) More seriously, he's kind, composed, good at heart. Also he looks so hot when he fights with a light saber (again, as Ewan. No offense to Alec Guiness)
one aspect i wish more people understood about them
I wish people were less hard on him. Did he make mistakes about Anakin? Yes. But he also genuinely did his best, with a kid that was dumped on him by his dying mentor. Said kid that grew up to become a rebellious and unbalanced teenager. Should the Jedi, and in particular his own master, have been more aware of Anakin's slide to the dark side? (like, you know, his tendency to slaughter desert people and all...) yes. But also, I feel like the "It's all Obi-wan's fault" is just Anakin's own narrative. But Anakin's fall is his own fault. And if you want to blame someone else, blame Palaptine.
(I've tried to keep this brief, but well, my BFF, with whom I've went to see episode II and episode III with, has always been Team Anakin, and I've always been Team Obi-wan, thus decades long discussions)
So anyway. I do believe Obi-wan did his best with that impossible kid.
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have about this character
Damn, I can't come up with headcanons today, sorry. :-/
as well as
one character i love seeing them interact with
young Leia in the TV show. Those two really found each other, didn't they?
one character i wish they would interact with/interact with more
Padme. I liked the few scenes they had together. Obi-wan was kind and compassionate with her. I liked that he figured she was pregnant with Anakin's kid(s) but wasn't judgemental about it.
Also Bail Organa, because I really like him.
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have that involve them and one other character
He kept in touch with Leia after the events of the Obi-wan series (even if that doesn't really fit with original trilogy canon). They were too good together to part ways and never see each other again.

Ahsoka 1x01 1x02 Thoughts/Questions
Spoilers for Ahsoka of course, and spoilers for Star Wars Rebels.
WHAT IS SABINE’S CAT’S NAME???? This is unironically my number one question. What if she named it Ezra.
Where is Jacen? My broccoli boy 💚
Wtf is up with Morgan Elsbeth being a nightsister? She’s very clearly human and not the same species as Talzin, Ventress, and Merrin, etc. Is Dave bringing back the concept of a group of human Nightsisters from the EU? (In which case, I’d like to see Teneniel Djo please.) Morgan says she’s a “descendant of the witches of Dathomir,” does that mean she could be part Nightsister but mostly human? Worth noting she is clearly able to do at least a bit of Nightsister magick in the scene with the map- she summons green smoke while opening it. Why the inconsistency in species? It seems silly to suddenly have a human Nightsister character when it’s needlessly confusing.
Also, the instant she said she was a Nightsister and a survivor I was like “who does she think she is ripping off Merrin like this?!” I will not tolerate this dollar store knockoff wannabe.
Update: checked the wiki and apparently there were a few small human Nightsister clans (the Singing Mountain clan is apparently still canon!), but mostly it was the big Dathomirian Nightsister clan led by Mother Talzin. Morgan could be from one of the smaller human clans. I think she just feels annoying to me because it’s like someone saw how cool Merrin is, thought she’d be a good villain for this, and then took the character concept wholesale for a piece of Star Wars media that’s more mainstream, but didn’t put in the work so it falls flat. And then her being human just makes it weirder. I wonder who made the decision to use the Nightsisters for this storyline, because doesn’t… fit. Even Morgan’s name is odd. Just feels like no effort was put into the character.
How did Ahsoka find Huyang? I’m so curious when and how this happened. I’m really happy to see him in this though, I loved him in Clone Wars.
Ahsoka can do psychometry now! Can we please get some canon Ahsoka and Cal Kestis interactions? Rebellion era would probably be best but I’m not picky. Obviously Cal’s abilities in that area are a lot stronger, but it’s nice he’s not alone and it’d be great to see them interact. They’re almost the same age, but just far enough apart that their experiences since Order 66 have been radically different.
Mando/Din spending seasons raising a Jedi foundling and Ahsoka taking on a non-Force-sensitive Mandalorian as a padawan is so funny to me. The irony of the inverse.
It’s also the perfect continuation of the disaster lineage attitude imo. Obi-Wan “I’ll train the kid you all say is too old to train” Kenobi, then Anakin and Ahsoka’s… you know, Anakin and Ahsoka-ing, and now Ahsoka’s like “I’ll take a regular non-Force-Sensitive person as a padawan.”
Merrin and Sabine would get along, I think.
Sabine being like 30 and still acting exactly like a rebellious teenager feels like a cry for help to me. :( I’m glad Hera seems to have her back, and it’s good that she has a cat, but I’m worried about her. It makes sense, but gosh poor Sabine. I’m sensing depression. She’s had such a tough life and a tough time with the concept of family, it feels like losing Ezra was the last straw for her emotionally.
Actually, where is Sabine’s biological family? Are Ursa, Tristan, and Alrich okay? Or did they not survive the Mandalorian Purge? (God no I WILL cry. Also @ Dave where is Korkie, why is Bo-Katan calling herself the last Kryze.)
So wait, the rest of the crew has spent 15 years thinking Ezra’s dead?? He said to come find him! I always felt like he was pretty clear he wasn’t dying when he pulled his purrgil stunt. Did they all just turn pessimistic and lose hope? That’s so sad.
I actually really love Sabine kind of being the Republic’s version of Thrawn as an expert art analyst. Continues the Sabine/Thrawn contrast Rebels started where Thrawn analyzes art in a more academic fashion and treats the culture it came from as a curiosity- he’s very into cultural appropriation!!- while Sabine makes her own art and is more capable of stepping into other people’s shoes to appreciate their art.
Ahsoka refusing to train Sabine because she’s too busy being sad and lonely, and Sabine refusing to talk to Ahsoka or train (or give speeches) because she’s too busy being sad and lonely. This is so sad and I want to hug them both.
It works because we have a new actress playing Ahsoka, but I’m so curious what this would have been like animated. Ahsoka feels similar enough to herself but very different, because she’s in such a different place emotionally, and I’m curious how this would’ve felt in animation with Ashley doing the voice.
There were a few scenes where I felt like I was watching a live action Rebels episode and it was the best! The entire sequence with Sabine on the hover bike getting away from her own New Republic squad lol, Hera in the Phantom with Chopper chasing after the ship and planting the tracker. Chopper not being able to find the tracker until Hera told him where it was felt SPOT ON.
The T-6 actually looks pretty roomy and comfortable so far. Like, not the best living situation, but it looks way bigger than the Falcon! Heck, it looks bigger than Ezra’s tower that Sabine’s living in.
That said, Ahsoka having not had a real home since leaving the Jedi Temple is killing me. She really has some abandonment/attachment/commitment issues she needs to work on. Extremely understandable issues given what happened, but it’s like after the end of Rebels she just… quit. Maybe finding out Kanan was gone and then coming back to find Ezra gone was the last straw for her.
I also feel like her giving up on Sabine’s training was because of how her own training ended and Anakin’s fall shortly after. She doesn’t feel capable of dealing with the feelings stirred up by having a student. So she just doesn’t.
Sabine’s collecting little brothers. :) Tristan, Ezra, and Jacen.
I yelled at Senator Jai Kell!!! Good for him!!!
Had a watch party with my friends for this and we all screamed the instant Chopper showed up!! And here I was thinking maybe he was off babysitting Jacen.
What in the world is with the map showing another galaxy?? Yuuzhan Vong vibes. (The way they were almost canon because we were supposed to get a Clone Wars episode with them… :’( )
Why DO the Nightsisters have a map to another galaxy? Didn’t they mostly stay on Dathomir? I can buy them having outposts like the ruins where Ahsoka found the map in an era when they left the planet more, but a map to whole other galaxy seems a bit off. Space exploration on that scale doesn’t seem like something they would do. I wonder if maybe the map is a relic from someone else that they picked up. I like the Rakata theory I saw floated by someone. I could see the Nightsisters picking up a Rakatan map. Those guys left random stuff everywhere iirc.
Does the Eye of Sion have anything to do with Darth Sion? (Of KOTOR 2 fame)
WHERE IS MORAI??? This is a really big question for me!!
Also wondering where Ahsoka’s Gandalf the White outfit is? Guessing she won’t get it until the end of the show. She has to go through her journey first. I wonder if the if it’ll mirror the Topps cards Filoni did after Twilight of the Apprentice at all.
It’s really sad to me that this show is coming out during the strike, because I really need Filoni commentary on things. Actor commentary would be great as well. This is ridiculous, the studios need to pay the people who make things a fair wage.
Shoutout to Natasha Liu Bordizzo’s portrayal of Sabine so far. She feels JUST like Sabine and it’s great. We haven’t really seen enough of Hera yet for me to comment on Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s acting. (It was so weird seeing Hera be taller than Ahsoka though lol.) And Sabine had much more of an arc in these two episodes than Ahsoka did so I can’t really comment on Rosario’s Ahsoka either. Will say she’s been excellent so far, especially in her first appearance in the Mandalorian episode. Looking forward to seeing more!

Of Light and Darkness: Phantom in the Dark 2
Pairing: Obi Wan Kenobi X Reader
WARNINGS!: DARTH MAUL (A warning in and of himself), Death, injuries, loss and sadness. AAANNNNGGGSSSTTT!!!!! Ok we all know what’s coming but it’s still gonna hurt!
A/N: I don’t own any rights to the story or characters in Cannon Star Wars. There are a few portions of the dialogue within this chapter. This is a Loving tribute and work of Fan fiction, with a few tweaks and twists of my own! If you haven’t ever read the novelization there’s a few things that I tossed in there, highly recommend the read. As a kid I thought that the Baddies were more greedy than evil, but after reading a little and watching clone wars I tweaked this to fit more how I thought it should go. Hope you all enjoy!
PS- This is gonna be VERY picture heavy, because I'm not always confident in my ability to write without giving a visual. Sorry....

MASTERLIST Next Part (3)
Upon jumping out of hyperspace it became apparent that the blockade was over with only one control ship remaining in orbit. None the less your craft was surely detected and time was precious. That the Nubian cruiser landed on the planet in one piece completely solidified your opinion that this was indeed a trap. Queen Amidala seemed to have a plan in mind to garner support and possibly an army from the neighboring Gungans. Enlisting the help of the exuberant Jar Jar Binks your small force was to make their way to the underwater capitol Otoh Gunga. Having found the city deserted Jar Jar surmised that the Gungan populace had probably sought refuge in their sacred temple.
You made plainly clear that you didn’t like the idea of dragging a child into a warzone to Master Qui Gon. Unfortunately, there really wasn’t anywhere safe to put Anakin till this blew over. He was a spitfire though. Having reunited with his friend Padme he insisted that he could help her protect the Queen. Not wanting to give away the surprise you kept your big mouth shut and smirking.
It was during the negotiations with the Gungan leadership that Queen Padme Amidala finally dropped her façade. You and the men knew of course, but you still had to give credit where it was due. Padme had managed to avoid capture and assassination from this well played deception. Not only was she resourceful, but humble and brave.
She made an impassioned speech before Boss Nass and his council, stating that though the two did not always see eye to eye the two groups would always be united by the planet they called home. Humbling herself before them, Queen Padme begged the Gungans help to save her people and their shared planet. It was this act of faith that sealed the pact with the Gungans, even though it was likely that many of them would be killed in this little war.
After the recon team returned from Theed and the last of the strategy had been completed you stepped away to clear your head. Obi Wan was needed to help work with the pilots, but you needed to think away from the cacophony of preparation. Taking a stroll into the woods a ways, you found a clearing. Naboo was a beautiful, vibrant world so teeming with life. You sat meditating for a long while, til small footsteps approached you. “Miss Y/n?”
“Yes Anakin?” you kept your eyes closed, not moving.
“Um … can I sit with you for a while?” His voice seemed tired for a youngling.
Opening your eyes, you studied him. It was clear that he was anxious, but about what was the question. Patting the grass next to you, he took the offered spot. Looking at how you sat he tried his best to imitate. You had to straighten him out a little though.
“Here, chin up. Head tall, no slouching. Master Windu always says that the better the posture the sharper the mind. Just breathe and listen to what’s around you.”
“All I here are speeders and animals dragging things?” Anakin's small face was scrunched in concentration.
Laughing a little, knowing that you were going directly against your own Master’s directive, you thought how best to put it. “Try…filtering it? Listen beyond to what’s going on in the woods. Then hold onto that and just breathe, kind of let go of everything?”
Obi Wan had finally apologized to Master Qui Gon about his attitude of late towards the boy. You had caught him earlier doing a slight of hand trick causing Anakin to laugh. Once he had gotten past his initial dislike and territorialism Obi Wan had actually found that Anakin wasn’t so bad as he thought. The boy couldn’t help that he had gotten attached to Qui Gon, or that the Master had become fond of the boy as well. Anakin was a sweet kid and very easy to like.
“Now feel for something warm like…a blanket on a cold night.” Looking at Anakin’s face again you could see the calm settle over it. “Good job buddy. Why don’t you keep practicing, I’ll send Master Qui Gon over, Huh?”
Peeking one eye open, he smiled, “Ok! Thank you, Miss Y/N!”
“You can just call me Y/N, Ok Ani-Man?” The boy smiled brightly and you set off to find the Master in question. As it would happen he wasn’t too far off.
Qui Gon Jinn had been a Jedi Master and instructor for many cycles and had the opportunity to watch others as they taught. Some had patience, some were strict, and some were just naturally in tune with children. His own apprentice he could see one day being a wise and patient master. You he saw as more of a guide, working with students and letting them lead, but also letting them learn from failure. Both you and Obi Wan complimented each other in those respects.
Qui Gon did worry about the bond that the two young Jedi had with each other. Not for a second did he believe that either of you wouldn’t uphold the spirit of your vows as Jedi or let it interfere with your duties. No, his concern was that one of you may be lost one day, and that the other would face what he had. Together though you and Obi Wan were perfectly paired. He never told Obi Wan that he knew about the relationship, giving that small piece of privacy. He suspected that Mace was unaware, or the two of you would have been separated immediately. Stepping out of the shadows he called out. “Y/n, have you seen Anakin?”
“Oh Master Qui Gon! Yeah, he’s meditating over by the pond. Did you need something?” You were not expecting him to pop out of the blue, normally being able to sense those around you far sooner.
“Actually, I hoping for a word with you. I’m sorry that you got pulled into all this.” Qui Gon looked sadly at you. There were days that your youth was dimmed and the toll of life was evident within your eyes. Today he could well see the map of every battle in your past and felt the apprehension within you, it well matched his own.
“I feel that it’s less anything you did and more Master Windu testing me yet again.” Your eyes rolled, but there was no spite in the statement. Disagree though you often did, you cared deeply for your Master.
“Just the same. I did want to ask, do you believe this to be a foolish venture?” Qui Gon folded his arms leaning against the nearest tree.
“Freeing a people from oppression and pain is never foolish.” You said with ease and confidence. “I do however feel that going into occupied territory, in broad daylight, in large numbers… that might be a little foolhardy.”
Qui Gon chuckled a little under his breath. “Well, I can’t argue that wisdom. Unfortunately, time is not on our side this time my young friend.”
“Is it ever?” You sighed gazing out as if to see a portent of the events to come.
“No, I suppose it’s not.” Smiling he turned towards Anakin, who by now was fast asleep having meditated too deeply. The boy’s future was in the air as much as any of theirs. While Qui Gon knew that Obi Wan was now more amicable towards Anakin, you had developed a small friendship with him as well. “Y/n?”
“Yes Master Qui Gon?” you quirked your brow up, turning to face the older Jedi better.
There was an odd tone in his voice, one you weren’t used too. Cocking your head to the side you looked at Master Qui Gon, really studying him. He seemed far too tired; stressed from the mission and the Council’s decision regarding Anakin’s training. In a way he appeared to have aged rapidly in the last few days.
“I need you to promise me something.” He saw you nod in acknowledgement, though he also saw the suspicious look in your eyes. Smiling a bit to himself he thought about what Melri would have thought of all this, knowing that this was similar in action to the path she had put he and Mace on years ago. “Keep an eye on them for me.”
“Two, if I can.” You winked at him. Your face grew serious then. "Is everything alright Master?”
He tried to relax his expression, smiling confidently at you despite his own wariness. He knew that you too sensed something was amiss. “Everything will be fine. I think Obi Wan was looking for you though.”
Again, you had kept your expression a schooled neutral, though Qui Gon noticed a very small blip in your signature. He often wondered if maybe he noticed these small nuances because he had spent so much time with you and perhaps Mace hadn’t? Taking a few steps forward he gave you a genuine smile and your shoulder a gentle nudge in the direction he knew you wanted to follow. Perhaps you and Obi Wan would avoid the pain of loss.
The two small assault forces infiltrated the capitol of Theed with little trouble. While the second group, led by Captain Panaka, distracted the plaza guards the other went for the main hanger. That’s where all farking hell broke loose between a platoon of droids raining blaster fire down on you and trying to get the pilots to their ships and away. As the fight intensified you had seen Anakin duck into one of the fighters. As the joint assault force finally took out the last of the droids, the hanger seemed secure for the moment.
“Your Highness are you alright.” You asked the young woman from across the bay.
“Yes, thank you. My guess is that the Viceroy is in the throne room.” She straightened an errand hair, checking her blaster.
“I agree,” Master Qui Gon was already scanning the bay for anything out of place. Seeing Anakin trying to get out of the fighter eager to rejoin you all he raised a hand. “No Ani, you stay there, stay right where you are.”
“But I…” Anakin was cut short.
“Stay in that cockpit.” Qui Gon’s voice was firm, it was the end of the discussion.
“Don’t worry Ani-Man, we’ll be back in no time. But keep your head low, Ok?” You shouted to the young man before making your way to the end of the bay, giving him a small smile. He’d be ok, you hoped. If nothing else the ship provided ample cover and concealment.
Your lightsaber was tucked into your boot, out of sight but within reach. You had opted instead to use a blaster like the others so as to not look out of place. Suddenly you felt something, something cold. It was as if you had been dropped in a vat of liquid nitrogen, the hairs on your neck stood straight up. Grabbing young Padme, you pulled her back… from what you weren’t sure. She looked at you startled, “Y/n what are you…”
The bay doors opened revealing not a man, but a monster of legend. The dark figure dropped his cloak, revealing a head of black and red markings crowned by jaundiced horns. The eyes of the creature though, they glowed yellow like the fires from the depths of Perdition. Like many others as a youngling you’d heard the stories of the Sith, had a few nightmares about them too. But none of that compared to the sight in front of you. Stepping between Padme and this creature your first instinct was to grab for your blade.
“We’ll handle this,” Master Qui Gon and Obi Wan had already moved to engage. Nodding to them you understood that your job was now to stay with the Queen and end the fighting on the planet. Giving both of them a glance you sent them a final wish. “May the Force be with you.”
Padme had already switched gears, “We’ll take the long way.”
Heading through the maze of hallways and up a grand staircase the group was soon overtaken by a squad of battle droids. Split down the middle of the hall you were all taking heavy fire. Looking around there wasn’t any real cover, just exposed tall windows. You looked to the Captain, “Any way we can bypass those stairs?”
Panaka nodded his head then blasted the window closest. “One.”
A six-flight ascent by grappling, and yet another blasted window later you were within reach of the objective. However, a detachment of destroyer droids and the Viceroy had other plans. After being captured you were brought before Viceroy Nute Gunray and his second in command Rune Haako in the throne room. Haako sneered at the Queen, raising a hand to strike her. Knowing there was no time to block the blow properly you moved between the two, taking the hit instead. It was made with enough force that you were knocked back onto the floor.
Haako laughed, smiling at his own cruelty, “You should teach your handmaid some restraint.”
“Rune there will be time for that later. Your little insurrection is at an end your Highness. Time for you to sign the treaty and end this pointless debate in the Senate.” Gunray was pacing on the opposite side of the ring of chairs. Haako was still towering over both you and Padme.
“Maybe we shouldn’t kill them after all. Both would bring a fair price on the slave markets.” He ran a lascivious finger down the young Queen’s arm. To Padme’s credit if looks could kill, Haako would have been an ashen pile on the floor.
The Nemoidian was already counting his credits, judging by the look he was giving all of you. Captain Panaka had helped you back to your feet, offering you a sleeve to wipe the blood from your lip. The droids had taken all the blasters but had failed to find your saber. Placing yourself again between the Queen and harm, you swatted away Haako’s hand. He raised his arm once more to strike you, but was interrupted by a commotion in the hall.
“VICEROY!!!”
Gunray and Haako looked down the hallway shocked at seeing what appeared to be the Queen in her full garb, armed guards in tow.
“YOUR REIGN OF TERROR IS AT AN END!” Sabe blasted a few of the droids for effect. Her group then dashed down an opposite hall.
Viceroy Gunray wasn’t silent for long, gesturing wildly. “AFTER HER! This one’s a decoy!”
As some of the droids marched out Padme used the distraction to perfection. Retrieving a set of small blasters hidden in her throne, she tossed one to the good captain. Running forward you went into a slide under the remaining droids as they tried to blast you. Rising with your blade in hand you sliced through the clattering machines. You turned again, pressing the control panel on the wall bringing down the doors, effectively locking everyone in. The Nemoidians were stunned, but weren’t about to surrender yet. Padme turned to the two jaw set, “And now Viceroy, we will discuss a new treaty. This is the end of your occupation here.”
Gunray scoffed haughtily, “Don’t be absurd. There are too few of you, even with a Jedi. It won’t be long before hundreds of destroyer droids break into this room and rescue us.”
At that moment you doubled over in agony, the feeling one you had only experienced once before. It wasn’t an injury to you, but as if someone dear to you had been. It was soon followed by another wave of both sorrow and anger. The Force itself was rippling from the shockwaves. You recovered as quickly as you could, knowing that the enemy would look for any opening to make an escape attempt. Re leveling your saber at the Viceroy and his man you glared and stood your ground.
Haako sneered, “Our Lord's plaything has finished your friends, and soon he will finish you all.”
Maker but what if he were right? What if Master Qui Gon & Obi Wan were gone? No, you had to focus. The first priority had to be the mission and the people in the room. You lowered your blade infinitesimally, narrowing your eyes. Haako was far too over confident for the situation he was in. Even Viceroy Gunray had begun to sweat a little. So what was the other Nemoidian playing at?
You stared down, or up as the case was, the Trade Federation Skughole. "Not if I have anything to say about it."
Captain Panaka must have had a suspicion of his own, slowly coming to stand nearly in front of the Queen on her throne. The moment happened so fast though, thinking back on it. You saw Haako pull a knife from below his robes and leapt towards Padme. Panaka kicked him, sending Haako back but not disarming him. Sprinting the second the initial threat had appeared you moved again to face the Nemoidian. His red eyes boring into yours with abject hate. “I’m not waiting for Maul to come. I’ll finish you both myself for the trouble you’ve caused!”
Raising his arm he swung the knife to land a blow that would end you. Master Windu often said that it was never about rising to the occasion, but falling back to the level of your training. Simply put you didn’t think about the actions as you took them. Spinning quickly into Haako to close the distance you grabbed the arm with the knife. Twisting and with a great pull you flipped him forward. But as the Nemoidian fell his cloak twisted around, causing him to fall at an awkward angle. This pulled you forward to roll with him. as you both landed Haako slashed your arm and kicked the saber across the room.
Haako had regained the upper hand, kneeling over you. He simultaneously kept a stranglehold on your throat and with his other hand was trying to jam the blade into your chest. It was enough of a struggle that you were barely preventing the blade from doing more than superficial damage. Padme raised her weapon to fire but Captain Panaka stayed her hand, “No! you might hit the girl.”
You were struggling against his superior physical strength and loosing air rapidly. Closing your eyes you focused on using the Force bringing one of the throne room chairs flying across the floor. Like a bug in front of a speeder the chair careened into Haako, and then into the marble wall. Both landed with a deafening thud. Padme kept her blaster leveled at Gunray, “Don’t even think about it.”
Sitting up you coughed, throat finally able to pull in air once more. Something was wrong though, you could sense it. Moving cautiously to where your opponent had fallen you looked down in horror. The knife that had almost ended you was now embedded into Rune Haakos chest. He must have died on impact, near instantaneous. Not even the sacred crystals in the Halls of Healing could have brought him back. Bile rose in your throat, stumbling back you wretched your guts upon the floor.
Your mind reeled, “What have I done?”
“What you had to do.” Captain Panaka had come to stand behind you. He pulled you up by your arm and handed your lightsaber back to you. “It was him or you. Make no mistake he wouldn’t have regretted killing any of us.”
Your mind became a torrent, not wanting to accept that your hands were now stained with this Nemoidian's blood. What kind of Healer…what kind of Jedi were you? The logical part of yourself knew that the Captain was right of course. That is had you not acted then you and or Padme would be dead. Staring at the body one last time you asked Panaka to ensure that Haako’s family be given the body for burial. He may have been a fallen enemy, but you could at least ensure that courtesy. There were no tears to shed, only the feeling of hollowness and cold.
The word came down that the control station destroyed and the war over. The reports from the field were still counting the Gungan injured and dead, casualties mercifully still less than initially expected. After securing the Viceroy and his remaining staff you went in search of your friends. Tracing your way back to the hangar you found Anakin who, as asked hadn’t left the cockpit of the spacecraft. He had however flown said craft straight into the dogfight above and been the one to blow up the control ship. You had crushed the boy to you upon finding him, relieved at his safety. That was one accounted for at least.
Placing him in the care of the other pilots you continued your search. The power station below the capitol was deep and winding. You had to reach with the Force to find an exact location, focusing with all that you had left. The signatures weren’t distinct initially and one faded as you were making the descent, snuffed out of the world like a flame in the wind. When you came at last to the pit, you were both relieved and saddened.
Obi Wan cried out like a wounded animal, cradling the body of his fallen Master. There was no sign of the Sith. Making your way to them you had to fight the bile rising in your stomach again. Slowly you knelt next to Obi Wan, not wanting to jolt or startle him. You tried to reach your signature to his, whispering to him, moving cautiously. “Obi?”
He didn’t hear you, so again you called to him, placing a gentle hand to his arm. “Obi Wan, are you hurt? Is that thing still here?”
Tear-stained eyes looked at you, so lost and in pain that it tore your heart to absolute shreads. His signature finally flickered against yours, wrapping tightly. “Y/n?”
“I’m here, I’m Here.” You voice cracked.
Your hand moved to rest on his cheek turning him to look at you, thumb swiping away the tears. Looking down at Master Qui Gon you could see the evidence of what had befallen him. The tears you were holding back threatened to break loose and join Obi Wans. Master Qui Gon had to have felt something within the Force, that was the only explanation you had for all of his odd behavior leading up to this. Falling back to your training once more, you reached out to see if Obi Wan was indeed uninjured. His gaze was far away, tolerating your examination with little acknowledgement. His gaze passed from Qui Gon to the Pit, then finally back to you. “I killed him.”
Your hands paused their work, looking into his bleak eyes. “Who did you kill Obi Wan?”
“That thing, I killed him.” His voice cracked.
Obi Wan finally blinked, coming back to himself. It was as if he was finally seeing you; that until then you had only been a part of the ether. Obi Wan glanced to your face, then to your neck. The bruising was starting to form dark purple marks, the cut on your lip very apparent. Anger rose within him again, threatening to set loose on whomever had done this to his woman. Raising his hands he turned your chin, seeing the full extent of what had happened. Then he noticed the cuts on your chest where your dress had been blood soaked from the struggle with the knife. Rage crossed his features, no longer only from the loss of his Master and mentor.
"Who did this?" Obi Wan's voice took on a distinctive growl. "Who?!"
“Obi I’m alright. I promise I’m alright.” You had never seen him like this, it frightened you. Reaching further you felt something terrible within his signature, trying to get out. No, you wouldn’t lose him, not to the darkness... not like this!
"I'll kill the bastards..."
“Obi Wan look at me… Its over, it’s over! Please, let it stay over.” Your pleas high pitched but soft spoken. Stroking his face you prayed to whichever higher being was present to aid you. “Obi please… Stay with me love? Please stay please....”
Obi Wan saw the tears in your eyes finally fall, twin trails marking your battered face. He felt your signature calling for his own to be calm, to find peace. Was it not enough that his Master had been killed this day, was it not enough that he was now responsible for a young man’s future? Was the Universe itself trying to beat him down, crushing him beneath its weight?! But Obi Wan knew that he could not give into these feelings of fear, of anger, of despair. No, he would not abandon the light, not abandon all that Master Qui Gon had taught him. Most of all he would not abandon you.
You saw it, the minute that it was over for him. When the light returned to his eyes and he pulled you into his arms, kissing your forehead gently. Obi Wan held you tightly, as if you too would disappear. You clutched him just as tightly, crying like you hadn’t in years for the losses of this day, true wracking sobs. The tension within you began to uncoil, you gazed into his clear blue eyes again.
“I’m so sorry Obi Wan. I’m so very sorry...”
“I know love,” pressing his forehead to yours, pressing a ghost of a kiss to your lips, “I know.”
The two of you brought the body of Qui Gon Jinn back to the hanger, from there the pilots took him to their chapel nearby. A gesture of kindness and respect. Anakin was with Padme, having insisted that he protect her until your return. As he saw you and Obi Wan enter the room his young face fell in sorrow, Padme held him as his tears fell.
Obi Wan wasn’t sure how to comfort Anakin, but he had made a promise to his Master and it would be done. He moved to kneel in front of Anakin, Padme and her escorts let you three have the room, she informed you that both the new Chancellor and members of the Jedi Council would arrive soon. There was a river of unwept tears behind the Queens eyes, for her people and the Gungans and for the Jedi. In the years following Padme would observe the anniversary of the victory in the Naboo Temple, deep in prayer for the souls of who gave all their tomorrows for the peace of today.
Using the sleeve of his robes Obi Wan tried wiping the tears away, giving a sad smile. At first he though what would Qui Gon do, but there was still too much pain there for an answer. So, Obi Wan looked at you, now kneeling next to him and thought what would Y/n do? That answer came more readily, he pulled both of you to him in a hug. It was brief but it seemed to help you all, a little balm on such a large wound.
“It’s alright to feel sad Anakin, we miss him too.” Your own eyes threatened to cloud over again.
“Why…Why did he have to die?” Anakin’s eyes held just a touch of anger behind them.
Obi Wan swallowed thickly, “Qui Gon was a protector of the light, at times that means making a great sacrifice so others may carry on.”
“I’m sorry mister Obi Wan, for your loss. You don’t have to worry about me.” Anakin stared at the floor, trying to figure out what he would do from there. “Maybe… Maybe I could stay here instead? Or one of the pilots could bring me back to my mom?”
“Anakin, look at me.” Obi Wan was firm but still used a soft tone with the boy, not wanting to upset him further. “I promise we will talk with the Jedi Council, you need not worry.”
“Ok.” It was a soft, small reply. The young man looked from Obi Wan to you. “Do you promise?”
It was not an easy question to answer. From experience you knew that it was never a good idea to make a promise that you may not be able to keep. Once given your word was your bond, but it would seem that you were already bound to these two men. Extending your hand Anakin took it. “You have my word, Anakin Skywalker, we will see this done.”

she’s surprised that the other would describe herself as anything less than calm. as Queen, Amidala had been virtually unshakable - a trait that had gone beyond the façade of their many ruses & the personality of Queen, & had defined the very core of Padmé Naberrie herself. something cracking that resolve & getting under her skin was not to be ignored in the slightest. still, Sabé does little to react other than tap long, tanned fingers over her knee as she listens further. Anakin’s seeming devotion to the other is less surprising - Padmé had always inspired deep loyalty in all of her alliances & connections. Sabé herself had seen it in how the other had won over Mon Mothma & Bail Organa, & even how she had continued her service for Naboo here in the Senate while somehow balancing her connections back in Theed, as well as many other far flung places. no, a deep loyalty to the other would never surprise her, but that loyalty being held by a boy who had been all but nine years old & come from nothing... it was easy, how quick fixation could be construed as loyalty.
‘ perhaps I could reach out to Kenobi, ’ Sabé proposes after a long, silent moment. ‘ I’ve only just returned to the city, but he was present when we change faces for our ruse on Coruscant before. it won’t surprise him to think we’ve continued the tradition - especially not in the wake of an attempt that claimed Cordé. ’ she would also very much like an excuse to walk the city & re-orient herself properly, but that was hardly worth mentioning. if there was any justice in the world, she’d never have to tell Padmé the details of the disappointment & frustration she’d felt on Tatooine, & how returning her felt like starting over in a way that was manageable. seeing Kenobi would also be the closest she could come to paying her respects to Qui-Gon for the time being. he might have a memorial on Naboo, but if she was to resume her duties as the former Queen’s shadow, her capacity to travel back & forth was about to be limited to what she could manage in secret or at the side of her friend.
‘ my independence is mine to give up to you if I choose, ’ Sabé points out, finally shifting her legs a bit & pressing them down into the floor as she stretches. ‘ besides, I managed to find many, many moments for my own independence in your service, ’ the former handmaiden reminds her with a wink. ‘ no, I want to meet with Kenobi, and I belong at your side. there’s whispers of other things happening out there in the galaxy, and something is coming. Qui Gon would have said my being here is the will of the Force. I’m inclined to agree. ’ he had been with them for such a short time but the Jedi had left quite the impression on her. she found herself reaching for his serenity often - increasingly so, of late. to bring him up like this felt fitting. perhaps if he had survived, many, many things would be different. ‘ besides, a Jedi is hardly going to know how to conceal a dagger inside of an intricate Alderaanian braid, or that the same components used for blasting powder can be concealed in a makeup compact. I would argue that makes me more useful to you, ’ she winks.
‘ if it’s nothing more than childish dreams, Obi-Wan will know that distinction better than anyone, ’ Sabé offers after a long moment, finally pulling her legs up & getting to her feet in a fluid motion. ‘ conversations veiled in hypotheticals can be powerful. I think it’s best to get ahead of these concerns rather than letting them fester - especially when we have the Separatists, and other threats looming imminently. ’ a war with clones versus droids felt unusual even to her with all the things she had seen but she had heard whispers of what had happened in the time she’d been away from Padmé’s side. it seemed like anything could happen. ‘ why don’t you stay here tonight? some sleep would do you good, and tomorrow I’ll seek out a way to manage a chance encounter somewhere where Skywalker need not overhear. we’ll get to the bottom of this. ’
there had been a reason that the person Padmé needed in these stressful moments was her longest, dearest friend. it was also times such as this that she missed the close companionship that she and her troupe of handmaidens had shared in the palace and politics of her home planet. even then Tsabin had been her closest confidante, but she had been surrounded by a group of young women who had understood and loved her. she had been able to speak to them as her friends as well as her handmaidens, and it was that closeness that she missed when times were troubling. despite Sabé's thoughts of her unshakability, the senator was frightened at what all of this strangeness might entail. while her fingers pressed against the glass window that looked out over the place they called home, she pondered the words that Anakin had spoken. she herself had been overwhelmed by feelings of love and want at times, had felt herself in danger of allowing those same wants to explode out of her and ruin the world if she allowed them, but she had never dared defy the vows she'd made for those feelings. Padmé's sense of duty remained firm no matter what, and she would not allow Anakin's foolish childhood infatuation to have him thrown out of the Jedi and her to lose the respect she'd worked so hard for in the galactic senate.
the suggestion that Sabé be the one to approach Obi-wan was enough to pull a deep sigh of relief from the senator and she glanced back over her shoulder at the other woman, affection and appreciation warming her expression as she nodded her thanks. ❝ i'm sure he'd be glad to see you again too, our roles were so entangled back on Naboo, you and he had as much time in conversation as he and i. ❞ a sad smile tugged at the corners of her lips and she turned fully, now pressing her back against the cool glass and enjoying the sensation on her skin, still heated with her fluster. ❝ if the Jedi council has seen fit to raise him to the title of Master, i'm sure that he will be able to offer some perspective on Anakin that we can't quite get a handle on. you're right that he is the best person to tell whether this is just a childish flight of fancy gone too far and that just needs a firm nip in the bud or if it needs more dire consequences for the possibility of overthrowing one's vows so completely. ❞ worrying her bottom lip between her teeth, Padmé crossed her arms over her chest as she leaned, thinking deeply. ❝ in case it wasn't clear, Sabé, i would be more than honoured to have you at my side again. i've missed you terribly, and i always feel better knowing that you're close by. we really do belong together, you and i. whether it's the Force that wills it or chance, i'm glad you're here, and not just because of your usefulness. the fact that you're my favourite person in the galaxy is not the least of my reasons. ❞ warmth filled her tone, affection clear in Padmé's voice as she regarded her friend and allowed the knowledge of her returned presence to really sink in. she had never felt safer or more comforted than when her shadow was in step with her, not even with a Jedi posted at her door. no guard would ever replace the Queen's Shadow.
❝ i think i'd appreciate the place to stay for the night, ❞ she agreed finally. her apartment was safe enough, and her guard posts weren't going to allow her to be assassinated overnight (well, she hoped, at the very least) but there was something to be said for sharing a space with the other woman and how they could duck in and out of each other's personas at the blink of an eye. ❝ this is why i came to you, you know. you've managed to snap me out of the fluster and back into reason. i'm so used to matters of politics lately that the intimacy of his proposal threw me. we have to look at this like any sort of problem like the many we faced, and one of those ways is by letting you do what you do best, i'm sure. ❞

Oh goodness...
I’m reading people who are sad and gutted because in the Obi-Wan series they made Darth Vader too evil by snapping that kid neck so mindlessly.
do those people rember that HE COMMITTED TWO GENOCIDES AND ALREADY KILLED DOZEN OF KIDS, SOME OF THEM EVEN HIS OWN SIBLINGS, considering that they were little Jedi and so his own family? Or just a random kid on a random planet is just too much for them?
Really.

I’ve read SW fans on twitter despair because apparently they scrapped a more bleak and sad Obi-Wan story for the series to write a more hopeful and uplifting one... and I don’t understand. Of course it’s going to be hopeful.
Obi-Wan comes from the darkest moment of his life, loosing his entire family and best friend, and has to become a real zen master, in peace, quiet and resolved to be the master Luke will need to become the one to help Darth Vader remember who he was, to remember Anakin. He can’t do it if he lingers in despair and guilt, and that’s not Jedi teaching. He knows, and his path is one that will always lead to the light, as a man and as a Jedi Master. So, thank God that they remembered where Obi-Wan was to become, and what’s his story. Old Luke was depressing enough, let us have Obi-Wan as a beacon of hope, as he should rightly be.

My #1 post of 2022
I had a brother, once
When I was about nine, and he was four, I think, he went away. He was so cute, he had a bunch of shiny copper hair, a nice smile and those big blue eyes. I loved to play with him, he was so little and funny. But one day he started moving things around the house, like small things that ran across the table to his little hands, and once he befriended a bird outside the window, it came so close to him that it accepted the food he gave it. My mother didn't believe me at first when I said that, but then she and dad started watching him closely, and I remember they talked of a thing called the Temple, after a while. Dad looked sad for a bit, but mum was so thrilled. She had an old picture, she always told me the woman in the picture was his grand grand grandmother, from centuries ago, and that she went to the Temple, and one evening they came into our room and talked to us. They told us that my little brother, Ben, had a special gift, like the woman in the picture. That he was touched by the light, and he could do great things, and that new people would come to test him and see if he was touched enough to learn how to use his gift for the Galaxy and the Republic. I was so scared, at first, I didn't want my little brother to go away. I screamed and hugged him, and he was so still in my arms. My parents were emotional too, mum said to me that giving a child to the Temple was a privilege and that he could live better with them than with us. I didn't understand at first, but they told me that the Temple was full of people like him, with his gift, and that their job was so important to the Republic, and he would have the chance to become a good person between them. We were just humble citizens, my dad was an architect, like me, and my mom was an artist and a painter. She told me that Ben could become something that they could never prepare him for, and the people at the Temple could help him with his gift and prepare him to be the best person he could be.
Some days after that, people from the Temple came to see my family. There was a tall black man and a creature with a mask on his face and eyes. They played with Ben and asked him a lot of questions, and then they came to me. They asked me if I loved him, and if I wanted him to be happy. Of course, I wanted that. The black man told me that he understand I was sad and didn't want to lose my brother, and he was right. He told me that Ben was going to live a life in the Temple, that he would learn how to use his gifts, and that he would be happy with them, but I was afraid that he would be alone and sad.
So they brought us all to the Temple, and we had the chance to see where he would live and grow. The school and the creche were so fun, and warm, that I even asked if I could stay with them too. But I was not gifted as him, so I couldn't. We hugged my brother for the last time, but every year, for the anniversary of the day he went to the Temple we received a picture and a few words from his teachers. It went on until he became a Padawan, around fourteen, and it was ten years since he left us.
We never forgot him, and I was still a bit sad, but I grow up being proud that my youngest brother went to become a Jedi. I got married and watched my children closely, in their youth, wondering if there was a hint of the same gift that he had, but apparently, that wasn't the case. It was a relief, surely, I didn't have to say goodbye to one of my children at such a young age, because I remember how conflicted my parents were, when we left him on Coruscant, in the Temple. They cried a lot, and I thought that it was because they didn't want to leave him behind, but then I understand. Sometimes it's hard to choose the best for your children, and you wish you can do everything yourself. But it's not always possible. He had great power in his little hands, and with great power comes great responsibility, and sometimes as a parent, your job is to accept that you're not the best fit to teach something important to your children. We knew nothing of the Force, we couldn't help him with it. We wouldn't be able to give him the proper teachings to understand and use his power in the best way, and it could easily hurt him and the people around him. Instead, he went on and became a great Jedi, and now I can read about him, saving the Republic and the galaxy with his power, against the Separatists that want to destroy our way of life.
So, yes, I spent my youth wondering how he was and if he was happy with the Jedi, but now I know he was. And every time someone at work asks me "are you related to that Kenobi?" I always smile.
Yeah... that's my brother.

~Welcome To My Self-Shipping Sideblog~
I’m Medazza, though you can call me Dazza or Dazz as well. I’m 26, and I’ve been self shipping privately for most of my life.
This is a sideblog, but I will NOT be interacting or following back from my main. If you know what my main is, I’d appreciate it if you kept that information to yourself, I wish to keep these blogs mostly separate from each other.
__________
This blog will be a lot of me talking about my fictional partners and the universes they inhabit, my self inserts as well! I’ll try my best to tag accordingly, but since this is a blog for me overall, I’ll tag as I see fit.
If you want to come into my askbox to gush about your own f/o’s, feel free! I may not be the best at answering enthusiastically (I’m autistic and my social battery isn’t always full, I’ll admit), but I enjoy hearing about other’s joy with their partners/friends/etc!
I don’t engage with pro/anti self shipping discourse, and will delete and block anyone who tries to bring it up in my askbox and DMs. I’ve been in fandom at large for longer than some of y’all in the self ship community have been alive, and I’m here to have fun and as an escape, not to be angry at petty behavior online.
Sometimes I’ll reblog or make posts with themes of age regression (or agere, if you’re more familiar with that shortened term), because I’ve been a regressor for about as long as I’ve self shipped, and daydreaming about regressing especially is a big part of how I mentally comfort myself. A few of my F/Os also double as caregiver/big brother types as well as romantic partners, but I keep those things separate from each other like I would if I had a caregiver irl who was my partner. I won’t be posting sexual regression content because that’s not how I roll, but I will be tagging those types of posts appropriately so you can tag block it at will. F/Os who I also see as caregivers will be noted with a ⭐️.
I’m gonna list my main F/Os below, and list the rest under the cut. I don’t mind sharing any of my ships, but if we do have them in common, please be nice about it. This isn’t a competition, we just love our guys/gals/partners just the same, yes?
——————
I’ve been married to Danny Ocean and Rusty Ryan from the Ocean’s Movie Trilogy (Ocean’s 11, 12, 13) since December 5th, 2022. My ship tag for the both of them is ‘diamonds and rust’.
I’m currently dating William Riker from Star Trek : The Next Generation, and have been since March 10th, 2024. My ship tag for him is ‘the commander’ ⭐️
Boyfriend/Girlfriend F/Os (aka who I’m actively dating, Crush F/Os may end up here at my own discretion)
Aaron Hotchner (Criminal Minds TV Series) ⭐ my ship tag for him is 'cold exterior cozy interior'
Doug Penhall (21 Jump Street TV Series) [NOTE: Doug is the first F/O I ever had, and thus is my longest relationship. I’ve shipped with him for over a decade]
Julie McCoy (The Love Boat TV Series)
TWIN PEAKS POLYCULE: Dale Cooper, Harry Truman, Albert Rosenfield, Gordon Cole, and Shelly Johnson (Twin Peaks TV Series)
Crush F/Os (I’m thinking about these people fairly often, but not to the point where I’m actively dating them, though that can change at my discretion)
Anakin Skywalker (Star Wars)
Obi-Wan Kenobi (Star Wars)⭐️
Foggy Nelson (Daredevil TV Series)
Greg Sanders (CSI: TV Series)
Simon Templar (as played by Val Kilmer in The Saint ‘97)
Horatio Caine (CSI: Miami TV Series)

*squinting* uhhhh...
How about Obi-Wan and/or Sam Wilson for the character bingo?
I'll do both!
Obi-Wan Kenobi:
What can I say, Obi-Wan's my fave and he always has been. I do think he works best in a duo, whether that's with Qui-Gon, Anakin, or even Luke. He makes for a great student as well as a great teacher. My heart wants to circle "they've never done anything wrong in their life," but like...even I know that's not really true ^^' Oh, and every ship with Obi-Wan sucks by default. I just can't see him pursuing a romance with anyone.
Sam Wilson:
Poor Sam has really drawn the short end of the stick far too many times. The creators tend to either ignore him or underutilize him, or occasionally have him do or say things that just don't quite sound right for him. And then a lot of fans tend to shoehorn him into one box or another that's too small for a fully rounded character like him to fit. It's like we just can't win, because the creators often seem to forget that he has training as a paramedic and a counselor, and the fans seem to forget that he's anything but a counselor. And then there are the people who say he can't be Captain America because Steve Rogers is the only Captain America....
Sam definitely works best with someone at his side. He makes for an excellent supporting character when Steve is the main character; exactly the sort of wingman you'd want backing you up. He also does really well as the protagonist, but he still shines most when he has someone like Bucky to banter with. If Sam had a catchphrase, it would probably be "I know a guy" ^_^ But both Sam/Steve and Sam/Bucky are terrible ships, and I can't stand them. (I am, of course, highly biased towards the OC I created to pair up with him, and am convinced that no character that anyone else comes up with, whether they're a fan or somebody from Marvel, can hold a candle to her.)
Character Opinion Bingo
